The Silver Paladins: Guardians of innocence

The Silver Paladins Stand as protectors of mankind innocence, astartes capable of incredible feats worthy of legend and myths, acting as the shield that protects mankind from the darkest of threats. But behind the glamour that they cover themselves in, their legacy is one filled with true heroism and sacrifice. Because fairytales don't exist and the Silver Paladins will fight countless wars in the darkness unthanked and forgotten so that the flames of mankind's purity always shine. This the sons of Ruby Rose vow.

Why do astartes always fight?

The answer to that is obvious. That's what they were made for, to fight the wars that normal humans wouldn't win, but there is more to that than people realize.

Astartes are attracted to conflict and so is conflict attracted to them.

An space marine companie docks in a planet just when a chaos cult is ready to enact a century old plan, An astarte chapter finds the signs of an Ork Waaagh when nobody has, The warp currents throws an astarte strike force into disarray and they end up in a system that happens to have an awakening necron tomb world in it.

Do you see the pattern?

"Astartes are destined for greatness".

That is as much of a lie as it is true.

It's their destiny, but not one brought by coincidence. it is a promise, an oath, a prophecy!

You know what I speak of, of how despite the odd space marines always win, despite no matter how hopeless the situation may seem they always barely pull through.

Does it sound familiar?

I know it does. You who are but a pale copy born of His fragment And Her essence and you know it, The truth about her destiny, abou everything! you; the lord of those who have been warded against doom and defeat are nothing compared to Her, to Her legion of heroes whose constant sacrifice has kept the tides of Chaos at bay.

That's why I must kill her, I will not let the legion become a sacrifice to be forgotten by time, For the legacy that we built together to be reduce to an empty pedestal beneath the roof of the Hegemon, a scratched number on imperial records, a vacant seat on Guilliman's table.

I must Kill her to stop the Second Legion from becomi-! (Recording suddenly cuts)
