Chapter 13

Themyscira:

Artemis was not holding anything back; she was not going to lose to this man or any man that will challenge her. Batman was mostly blocking and dodging her attacks waiting for the right time to attack her.

Artemis sword clashed against Batman shield pushing him back a little bit. Artemis used this move to trip Batman to make him fall on his back. She raised her sword ready to cut Batman in half however He was able to dodge it at the last second.

Artemis went after him strike after strike, but he was blocking all of them. She did however give him a small cut on his arm which did put a small smile on her face. She hopes that was not the only cut he was going to get.

Diana watched all of this with right beside her mother on the throne. She was very worried for Bruce; Artemis was the best fighter on the island after her it also did not help that she hates men more than anyone on the island. She just hoped Bruce had a plan to defeat her.

Bruce had to admit the Artemis is a good fighter, her attacks were committed with such great speed and strength. Her sword came down, but he was able to dodge it and kick her in the chest sending her to the ground.

Artemis was getting angry at this man so far, he has spent most of the fight dodge and blocking her attacks, if he were a real warrior he would stand up and fight. Artemis was going to strike at him with everything she had. She was planning on ending this battle now.

Diana saw the face Artemis was making, she knows that Artemis was planning on ending this battle. Diana prayed to her gods that Bruce will be ok, and that Artemis would not kill him.

Artemis strike with all her speed and strength ready to end the battle right here and now. She was throwing punch after punch to defeat batman. He was able to keep up, but he was starting to get tired. Artemis saw her opening and took it she was able to get batman on his back and was about to knock him out when a massive explosion happens.

The building that held the prisoners was on fire and falling apart it was mass chaos the amazons were trying to contain the prisoner as well as put out the fires. Nobody knew how this happen, but they had no time to figure it out.

The Queen so arrived along with Diana, Batman, Artemis, and the rest of her royal guard. The Amazons there were still trying to clean up this mess as best as they could before anything else could happen.

"What has happened here" The Queen asked

"We do not know my queen all we know is that there was a massive explosion and the prisoners started escaping" one of the Guard says

"Do you know who are prisoners that have escape during these" The Queen said.

"We are checking the cell right now to see who is still there" the Guard said to the queen and her company.

As the queen kept talking to her guards Batman went to investigate the cause of the exposition. He walked over to where the exposition came from and look around, after a little bit he found some mental near the wall, like a bomb had been planted there.

As Batman was examining the mental, he could hear Diana walking up behind him. "It is some type of mental, someone planted a bomb here to break -in" Batman told here. She did not respond; Batman turn to look at her. Diana had a angry look on her face and her arms were crossed n her chest.

Batman knew that Diana was mad at him, and he was going to have to make it up to her, but this was not the time or place. Over her Batman could see the Queen headed towards them she also has an angry look on her face.

"Circe has escape" The Queen said.

A boat just a few miles from Themyscira:

Circe was rubbing her wrist that were now free from the chain that had been on them for the last couple of years stuck in that prison. She was happy that she was free but still wondering who had freed her.

"Thank you for freeing me but I must ask who you are" Circe said

The person turns around and faced Circe "I am Talia al Ghul and I need you help to take down Wonder Woman"
