They are now back in Toronto walking hand in hand. Emma suddenly grabs Regina by her waist and kisses her soundly on the lips "What are you doing?" asked Regina

"Just a small surprise. Something you're going to love" replies Emma while taking her hand and rushing them to their next destination.

"I don't think there's enough time." Inquires Regina

"Don't be silly"

"Maybe we should go back to the apartment."

"Come on. You said you've always wanted to do this" Emma says now in front of the CN tower. Yes, she knows Regina is afraid, but she wants her to overcome her fears. Together.

"And you know why I haven't? Because I'm scared of heights"

"Baby, there's nothing to be afraid of. I'll be with you." Emma said now in the elevator.

"The doors" a frightful Regina says

At the top of the tower, you can see everything. Every building, the lights, the lake. It's beautiful. To Emma, there is nothing more beautiful than the sight in front of her… Regina.

"Still scared?" she asked

"That's weird. I guess I forgot." Replies Regina as she touches the railing "Thank you."

"What for?"

"The perfect day."

They get back to the apartment as Regina needed to prepare for her concert. She was anxious, excited, everything at once. "I think I'll wear this to dinner. You're going to love the singing tonight." She says with a blue dress in her hands.

"Is it that opera that I'm so fond of? I'd rather stay here and listen to you sing."

"Be serious"

"I am. I don't understand why you don't let people hear your songs. What are you afraid of?
Success or failure?"

"Yes, both?"

"Regina…"

"I will sing them. I will" Regina promise

"When?"

"One day. Someday" and she is rushing back to the closet to get ready.

At this Emma remembers the song Regina wrote. She picks it up as Regina is not in clear sight and yells at Regina that she needs to go to the office for a few.

"The office? Now?" a disappointed Regina asked

"I wasn't there all afternoon. The place could crumble without me. It'll just take a second. I promise" says Emma while giving Regina a goodbye kiss.

"See you there"

Emma goes to a print center and requested 75 copies of the song. While the copies are being handle, she rushes to a jewelry store close by.

Regina is already at the concert. She hasn't seen Emma and it's a total mess. Emma knowing how nervous she is, gets her a rose with one of the band members and goes to the seating area.

The concert gets to an end and Emma goes to the stage. "Ladies and gentlemen... that was to have been the last performance of the evening, but we have a very special treat for you. Regina Mills, a visiting artist from America... has agreed to grace us with one of her own compositions Regina…"

Regina is in chock, she cannot move, she is scared. Why is Emma doing this to her she asked herself. Emma approaches her "You don't want to let down your future fans." The band already started playing in the background.

"You are in big trouble." A scared Regina answered. Still, she gets up and step in front of the audience. After a long pause, that seems like ages…timidly, she starts signing the lyrics of the song she clearly recognizes

# Today, today I bet my life

# You have no idea...

# What I feel inside

# Don't be afraid to let it show

# For you never know

# If you let it out

# I love you, you love me

# Take this gift and don't ask why

# Cause if you will let me

# I'll take what scares you
# hold it deep inside

# And if you ask me why...

# I'm with you
# and why I'll never leave

# Love'll show you everything

# One day
# when youth is just a memory

# I know you'll be standing
# right next to me

# I love you, you love me

# Take this gift and don't ask why

# Cause if you will let me...

# I'll take what scares you
hold it deep inside

# And if you ask me why...

# I love you and why I'll never leave

# My love'll show you every-thing

# My love'll show you everything

# My love will show you every-thing

# Our love will show us everything

Regina finishes while looking at Emma's eyes. A round of applause takes her out of her trance, and she runs back to where she belongs… to Emma.

They leave the concert and decide to take a walk to the restaurant "I can't believe you did that!" says Regina while hitting Emma on her shoulder. "What an amazing feeling! Do you
have any idea how terrified I was?"

"You certainly didn't show it. You were great."

"In the beginning I couldn't even breathe... and then this calm came over me.
My god, what an amazing feeling!"

"You were so incredible" Emma says lovingly

"You're biased"

"Guilty as charged"

"Hey, I'm starved. Where are we going to eat?" asked Regina

"Anywhere you want to"

"Okay, I have an idea'

Regina takes them to this lovely, small restaurant. She is happy. "You like this place? I thought
you'd hate it. Cozy, intimate..."

"It's exactly my style"

"You looked really cute today in your meeting." Emma's face crumbles, remembering that Regina didn't get to the meeting.

"I mean, strong and serious?" add Regina after the look on Emma's face

"What are you saying? you didn't come to work today. I mean, I didn't see you"

Blushing Regina replies "I brought you the black folder, but you already had it...
so I slipped away. You did look really cute by the way"

Emma doesn't want to think of anything. She is not ready to lose the love of her life. Her best friend. "Close your eyes" she says while putting a bracelet in Regina's wrist "Happy graduation"

"Oh my God; it's so beautiful"

"Some of the charms are old and some are new…
That's a musical note. A violin. This one's a flower. But there's no sense in that at all,
except it was exquisite, like you

Let's see. The train that we took today. That's the Eiffel tower that you've always wanted to see.
And there's a frying pan. You're the only person I know that can actually do the flipping thing.
This one's a heart. My heart. It's yours now" Emma finishes with tears in her eyes.

After dinner, they step out of the restaurant. It's raining. Emma doesn't want the night to end, but there she is. Playful Regina, running out the restaurant in direction to cab even in those fucking high heels.

They missed that cab, it's pouring. Emma takes a look at Regina.

"What?" Regina asked

"I love you" says Emma "I want to tell you why I love you"

"It's raining. You know that, right? Can we do this at home? Where is dry and warm?"

"I have to tell you this and you need to hear it. I've loved you since I met you...
but I wouldn't allow myself to truly feel it until today. I was always thinking ahead.
Making decisions out of fear. Today, because of what I learned from you... every choice I made was different and my life has completely changed. And I've learned that if you do that,
you're living your life fully. It doesn't matter if you have five minutes or fifty years.

Regina, if not for today, if not for you... I would never have known love at all. So thank you for being the person who taught me to love. And to be loved."

"I don't know what to say" Regina is speechless

"You don't have to say anything. I just wanted to tell you. Thank you."

They kissed. And their pour into that kiss everything they have. Everything they haven't said yet. It was full of passion, full of tenderness, full of emotions that hey didn't even comprehend. If you need it to name that kiss, so may say it was a true love kiss.

A cab parks in front of the couple and Regina gets in "Are you coming?"

"Of course"

Regina gives the driver their address "Ludgate Square, please"

"Yes, ma'am." The driver looks at Emma through the mirror "You haven't got much time."

So, she kisses her again. Slowly, savoring every second. Enjoying the sensations, a simple kiss could bring to her. Soft lips. She wants to memorize her smell, her touch, her taste. She stops the kiss a looks at her face with so much love. Together, anything's possible.

The cab stops at the light. Emma is hyperventilating. Reviving everything that happened yesterday, today. She doesn't know anymore. She wants to protect her, and she doesn't have much time left. The clock marks 11pm and the cab starts the engine again, but nobody could have seen it coming. Except her… Emma, she saw it, she knew what as coming next and she holds Regina. Tight, she doesn't let go.

Everyone in Toronto looks at the lights, the people walking in the street, crossing the streets. Drivers pay attention to their surroundings. But it happened. Again. The sound of tires screeching in the asphalt. The sound of metal, and screams. All at once.

Kat rushes through the hospital doors in tears. She is finally where she needs to be…"I'm so sorry"

"I can't believe she's gone. Why am I here and she isn't?"

"Some things are just out of our control" Kat replies. Kat simply holds her.
