Hi, friends. Welcome to my profile. Maybe you’re here because you’ve just discovered When StarClan Gets Bored for the first time. Or maybe you’ve been here for a while. Or perhaps you’ve come from another fic. Regardless, welcome.

I recently decided to Google “When StarClan Gets Bored” and found a post on Tumblr that says “Hey if anybody else remembers when starclan gets bored you are entitled to money. Double points if you submitted an oc”. Additionally, I found that the fic is being used as an example of a “crack fic” on . Boy, I laughed so hard when I saw both of those things. But what really struck me about both of those things is that I got to be the leader of a period of lunacy that this fandom went through. And oh my StarClan, I’m so proud of it. I’ve seen a lot of people delete their profiles and declare that they were young and the things they posted on FanFiction were silly and stupid. I was so young when I started my account. When StarClan Gets Bored is easily the silliest and most stupid thing I’ve ever produced. I couldn’t be prouder of it. And that’s the truth. I have very little shame in what I’ve produced here and what I continue to produce. Despite the fact I’ve certainly grown and changed throughout its duration- much like any of you who have been here from early on and much like all of you who have only been here a short time will- I’m not embarrassed to have continued it for so long- middle school me wanted me to keep writing this for as long as possible or at minimum, get to chapter 200.

This fic will get its end- and it’s likely coming soon (before chapter 200, sorry Little Chucklez)- but I’ve got several letters from my younger self begging me to finish this fic because I have notoriously struggled to finish stories- both on this site and on personal writing apps that never saw the light of day on the Internet. I see the comments surrounding the fic and the fics it's inspired and I feel so grateful. I’ve been lucky enough to have created something that people love, feel bonded over, and use to get a laugh from- I don’t quite think I realized to what an extent it is until recently. The comments of nostalgic people who have returned to FanFiction for the first time in a while or the people commenting that they’ve had a bad day and an update was a nice little pick-me-up makes my heart swell. It’s also been an impressive scrapbook into life, both on a personal and public level- between its start and now. There are references to numerous public events that have long passed and references to personal interests at various times. Several of the first chapters were written as Hurricane Sandy was hitting my house. I’m realizing I’ve been really into NHL hockey for a lot longer than I thought. We saw One Direction at its peak and we saw them break up. A lot of members of the Warriors fandom who are probably long removed from the books made their mark on this fic.

I uploaded and deleted When StarClan Gets Bored at least twice in September and October of 2012 before keeping it up permanently, as I was rather concerned about getting flamed for the nonsense it was- and still is. The initial reaction I got was better than I could have hoped for and what happened next was beyond my wildest dreams. You've made a little girl with very goofy ideas feel so, so loved. A slightly older girl who still occasionally has very goofy ideas is so incredibly grateful to have ended up here and to have felt the love of everyone who’s come across When StarClan Gets Bored (and all my other fics, for the matter).
