Chapter 4: An Orchid's Sorrow!
'Damn you, Pops.'
Those were the thoughts of a certain red-headed girl of 9 years, known as Ranma Saotome. The young martial artist, who fell into Nyanniichuan, the Spring of Drowned Girl. He -currently she- would forever transform into a girl when coming into contact with cold water. Fortunately, for her, hot water would reverse her back to male, however. It isn't permanent as just another douse of cold water can almost instantly activate the curse once more.
Right where we left, the now female martial artist is seen on her knees as a single tear streak on her right cheek can be seen. Her friend, Blaze saw this and quickly rushed to her side as he rubs his head on her thigh in an effort to comfort her, But. His efforts went unnoticed to her.
"Tor! Tor...", Blaze cries out to her, trying to get her attention and comfort her. He didn't like to see his friend like this, and it only served to make him more worried. He continued trying to comfort her and cry out to her. This lasted for about thirty seconds as Ranma still stood there in place looking down at the floor.
"Torchic!", Blaze let out one last cry to his friend. This snapped Ranma back from her daze as she looks down at the orange chick trying to comfort her. This cheered her up a little as she gave him a sad smile before getting up. She brought her hand up to her cheek and wiped her tear as she turns to Blaze.
"Thanks, Blaze... let's go out. You comin'?", Ranma asked him. Still smiling sadly. Blaze felt relieved a little as he followed her out the door together. However, he knew deep down that his friend was sad. But still, he was going to help her out regardless.
The two walked around as Ranma's legs wobbled quite a bit as they looked around the ancient cursed grounds. Ranma felt uncomfortable walking around as she wasn't used to her female legs. Her center of gravity felt off since she had only just become a girl today. Hopefully, she'd get used to it soon.
They took in the sights of the various cursed pools of Jusenkyo. Despite all the cursed springs and magic surrounding the place. It was quite a fascinating and interesting sight to see. One that has piqued her mind, wondering about the history of this place. The same can also be said about Blaze as it was all so mystifying to them.
"Jusenkyo. Is quite fascinating place, no?", The girl and chick turned around to see the Jusenkyo Guide in surprise as the man gave them a warm smile.
"Yeah, it is", Ranma replied with Blaze nodding in agreement. She gave the guide a sad smile. The guide saw this and took a downcast look. He didn't like seeing children like this. He walked up to the young redhead and hugged her, enveloping her in a warm embrace.
"Is okay young one. I know it may be hard for you. But, you are not alone. I too have child of my own.", The guide said as tried to comfort the young martial artist. Ranma was shocked by this, however. She accepted the man's embrace as she tried to fight back her tears. She couldn't hold it in. Tears slowly flow out of her eyes as she, for the first time in her life.
She cried. Cried for the first time in her life since she was taken away from the woman who gave birth to her when she was only two years old as she couldn't remember her mother's face. A result of not seeing her for years. She whimpered and soon sobbed as she let out all the emotions she bottled up over the years. All the torture, sadness, pain, and loneliness she had been through as she cried into the man's chest. Blaze joined the embrace with tears welling up in the orange chick's eyes as he tried to comfort his friend once more. Even though he had only known Ranma for one day. He and the boy-now-girl got along well and became fast friends. He would stand by for his friend no matter what, that is a promise he would keep.
The embrace lasted for a couple of minutes as the man and chick continued to comfort the young girl as her cries and sobbing slowly become quieter as seconds pass by until she finally calmed down. The Guide slowly broke the embrace as he looked down at the young martial artist in front of him.
" *Sniff* Thanks.", Ranma said as she slowly brought her hand up and wipe away the streak of tears on her face. She smiled at the two before briefly hugging them back again. Both Blaze and the guide were surprised, but. Smiled back at the young redhead as the guide spoke.
"I can give you tour around the place and allow you to stay for a while. My wife won't mind much.", The Guide said, offering Ranma and Blaze a stay in their house for a couple of days.
"R-really? T-thanks!" "Tor!" Ranma and Blaze said, thanking the man for his hospitality.
They spent the rest of the day having a tour around Jusenkyo. They soon went back to the hut when the sunsets as the night sky rise. After that moment, Ranma felt a little better, but. It was far from over as she still had a long way to go.

I know this chapter may be short, but. I don't mind at all. Anyway, here are some things to clarify. Just in case.
Ranma crying and his/her bottled up emotions make sense, considering all the harsh training, loneliness, and torture he went through. Especially the Nekoken. Imagine if you were in that kind of position. How would you feel being in the kind of training Genma puts Ranma through?
