Previously, on PKMN Trainer Ranma. Mr. Li led the trio to the Amazon Village known as Joketsuzoku, where they are introduced to the guide's wife and daughter; Peach and Plum, the elder matriarch; Cologne, her great-granddaughter; Shampoo and her small green gecko-like companion; Ye.

The two boys and Amazon talked, while their small companions had their own conversation with each other, which resulted in a small argument between Blaze and Azure that was quickly resolved before Shampoo began telling them how she and Mousse met their companions.

And now we continue...

Chapter 8: Amazon Meeting! Part 2

[Flashback, Four days ago]

It was a bright and sunny day in the village. However, outside of the village, we see Shampoo being chased by a boy named Mousse. Shampoo just kept running away from him.

"My darling, Shampoo! Wait for me!", Mousse cried out as he kept trying to catch up to his Shampoo.

{*Groan* Stupid Mu-Tsu, Leave me alone!}, Shampoo said exasperated as she was annoyed by him. Ever since he first tried confessing his feelings to her, he has been stalking and harassing her onward over the years. She sometimes wished that her childhood friend could come back. Sadly, her former friend wouldn't come back anytime soon.

Suddenly, the two amazons stopped to see a bright flash of light from afar, as their curiosity rose.

{What was that?}, Shampoo asked curiously.

"I don't know either, Shampoo.", Mousse replied. Shampoo was wondering what that light was just now. Curious, She decides to go and investigate it as she started running toward the source.

"H-hey! My Shampoo, wait for me!", Mousse cried as he followed right behind her. The two continued running as they suddenly came to a halt in front of a cave. Shampoo being the brave and proud aspiring amazon warrior she is decides to enter the cave and see what's inside.

{Mu-Tsu, I'm going in.}, Shampoo said.

"I'm coming with you, just in case.", Mousse replied chivalrously, only to get an eye roll from her. Typical Mousse. They entered the cave and looked around to find anything inside. Looking around, Shampoo then notices something from a distance.

'{Hmm... Huh? What is that over there?}', Shampoo thought as she slowly walks over to the source. As she got there, she was shocked by what she found. There were two odd eggs and next to them were two strange balls with the top half of them red, while the bottom half was white. A black horizontal band circling them and a light gray button in front of the center. Suddenly, she unconsciously took one of the eggs and gaze deep into it, being unable to look away and being drawn to it. As if something is calling out to her. Something... Special.

However...

"Shampoo!", The mood was sadly ruined by an annoying stalker, snapping out of her trance. Just great. Afterward, she focuses her attention back on the second egg and the two odd-looking balls contemplating on what to do with the second egg and balls.

'{Maybe I should let Mu-Tsu take the second egg and those balls look strange. Maybe great-grandmother will know what they are back in the village.}', Shampoo thought as she turned to Mousse.

{Mu-tsu, we're heading back to the village. You grab the other egg and we'll bring the balls back to Great-Grandmother now.}, Shampoo told him to which Mousse happily nods and complies with her request as he quickly picks up the other egg and one of the balls. Shampoo just rolls her eyes at him before grabbing the other ball and they both headed back to the village.

Meanwhile, in the village. We see Cologne looking around trying to find her Great-granddaughter and that Mousse boy. She was where she and Mousse ran off to and was a little worried for her well.

'{Where could that girl run off to?}', She wondered as she continued to look around. She then spots the two of them enter the village, both of them each cradling strange eggs and holding strange balls in hand. This caught her attention as they soon approached her.

'{Interesting...}'

Shampoo and Mousse ran back to the village with the eggs and items in tow as they entered the village. Inside they spot the elder matriarch and ran up to her as they stopped and panted from running. After catching their breath, they stood up facing the elder, who gave them a stern, yet intrigued look.

{Shan Pu, Mu Tsu. Where have you two been and...}, Pointing her staff at Shampoo's egg, {What are you two carrying? Explain.}, Cologne said sternly as she eyed the two youths. Mousse sweated a little under the elder's gaze, but still stood straight as he was internally nervous. Shampoo, on the other hand, wasn't as nervous and began speaking.

{Great-grandmother, I am sorry for going outside the village without your consent. However, while we were out, Mousse and I found two eggs and strange balls in some cave. Please take a look.}, Shampoo said as she handed her egg to the elder. Cologne took the egg and took a quick look around it before her eye went wide -or wider- after doing so. She turns to the two and quickly hands the egg back to Shampoo. She was shocked by the discovered egg her great-granddaughter found.

{Shan Pu... We must head back to the restaurant. Now. You too Mu Tsu.}, Cologne ordered them as they complied before quickly following her back to the restaurant.

'{Great-grandmother looked shocked. I wonder what's inside these eggs}', Shampoo thought.

Shampoo and Mousse followed her great-grandmother to her ramen restaurant known as the Cat Café. They went inside and handed their eggs and balls to Cologne who examines the eggs and strange items in-depth and went wide-eyed with fascination by what they found. She turn to the two youths as she spoke.

{Shampoo... This I have never seen in my life...!}, Cologne stated in shock.

{Great-Grandmother, what exactly are these odd balls, and what should we do about the eggs?}, Shampoo asked. Her and Mousse's curiosity rising as they wanted to know. Cologne deeply pondered before facing the two young Amazons and began explaining to them.

{Well for your first question about the balls, I have no idea or knowledge of these. Their design is odd, but the technology on these things seems unique and possibly advance.}, Cologne said as the two youths nodded in understanding.

{As for your second question Shan Pu, I checked the eggs for any sign of life and to my surprise found something quite interesting when sensing their Chi.}, Cologne said surprising them.

"What do you mean by that?", Mousse asked as both he and Shampoo were surprised to hear this information.

{Very well, you see, when I sensed the Chi from these eggs, I also sensed a separate form of energy. At first, I thought it was just a unique type of Chi, but, that wasn't the case as this other form of energy, although similar to Chi, is very much different from it.}, Cologne explained. Shampoo and Mousse were in wonder as Shampoo spoke.

{Great-Grandmother, what exactly is this other energy you speak, and how different is it to Chi?}, The young Amazon girl asked with Mousse giving a nod of agreement.

{Well, my child, from what I could gather, it is a form of spiritual energy separate to Chi. While sensing it from these eggs, the newly produced energy starts out pure before quickly gaining some unique form of affinity.}, Cologne explained as this time Mousse asks.

"What do mean by 'gaining some unique form of affinity'?", Mousse asks as a thoughtful Cologne begins answering his question.

{Well, as I said, this unique energy starts pure before gaining a distinct affinity to it. For instance, *Turns to Shampoo* Shampoo, the egg you carried possessed some affinity towards nature, more specifically plant life as well as fungi, and *Turns to Mousse* Mousse, the one you carried possessed an affinity that seem to be associated with the psychic forces or powers of the mind.}, Cologne explains, gaining astonished looks from the two Amazon youths. She chuckles seeing their looks before continuing once more.

{Anyway, other than that, that's all I can get so far. But, hopefully, I can get more knowledge of this once I study these balls more, and when these eggs hatch soon enough.}, Cologne said. Shampoo was a little disappointed, but, was satisfied with what she learned as did Mousse. However, Shampoo then took notice of the last thing her great-grandmother said.

{Great-grandmother, how long will the eggs hatch?}, Shampoo asks curiously.

{Well child, Surprising they may hatch very soon, possibly tomorrow or two it seems. I believe you and Mousse should be here when the time comes}, Cologne said chuckling a bit. Shampoo smiled at her as she and Mousse were now anxious to see what would hatch from the eggs before a thought came to her as she looked at the egg she carried. Her smile is still present as she turns to the elder matriarch.

{Great-grandmother... Can I touch the egg, the one I carried here?}, Shampoo asked a little nervous. "M-my too!", Mousse added. Cologne chuckles once more as she spoke.

{*Chuckles* Sure you two, you can touch them, go on ahead!}, Cologne told them to which they excitedly accepted as they quickly come up to eggs.

'{I wonder what's inside the eggs?}', Both Shampoo and Mousse thought, wanting to know what was inside. They each reach out toward their eggs as they began to gently rub their hands around their respective ones. Suddenly, the eggs glowed brightly as they started to shake. Both youths took a step back, surprised by this as Cologne came up in front of two with her staff held firmly.

'{What's going on...?! These eggs aren't normal, I must be on guard, just in case}', (Cologne thought).

'{What's happening?!}', (Shampoo thought).

'What is this glow of all sudden?!', (Mousse thought).

The eggs' glow slowly dissipates as small cracks form. Once the light faded, the eggs start to shake violently as the top of the eggs burst open as two creatures slowly come out of the eggshells. Three stood guard as they eyed the two newly hatched beings, taking in their appearance. They stared in awe of what they saw. One was a yellow bipedal creature and the other was a green gecko. The three were silently for a moment not sure on what to make of the newly hatched creatures. Suddenly, both Mousse and Shampoo make eye contact at the yellow bipedal and green gecko's eyes. They deeply gaze at each other as if in a trance as they slowly walk up to them with Mousse coming up to the yellow creature, while Shampoo came up to the green gecko-like creature.

{What are you two doing?! Get back here now!}, Cologne frantically told them, worried for what may happen, especially her Great-granddaughter. However, her words went deaf as the two youths came up and stood facing the small creatures. Their gaze remaining strong.

The green reptilian gazed at Shampoo as if looking for any signs of danger and hostility from her. After a moment, the green gecko walked up to her and quickly got on her shoulder startling her in the process. Shampoo then stared at the green gecko's eyes as if communicating with each other telepathically. After a moment Shampoo smiled at the gecko as it smiled back.

"Nihao, my name is Shampoo. Want to be Shampoo's friend?", Shampoo said in broken Japanese. The gecko-like creature nods at the young amazon for confirmation, much to Shampoo's delight.

"So, what you are?", Shampoo asked to which the green gecko answered with a cry.

"Treecko.", was all it said as Shampoo looked at the gecko thoughtfully for a moment before asking it again.

"Are you boy or girl?", Shampoo asked.

"Tre.", was all it said as Shampoo, despite not quite understanding what it said, somehow understood what it meant.

"You girl?", Shampoo said as it nodded for confirmation. Shampoo smiled at this and asked her one last question.

"Do you want new name?", The green reptilian closed her eyes and thought about it for a moment. She then opens her eyes and nods. Shampoo tried thinking of a name for her before one came to mind.

"Ye, it mean leaf. How that?", Shampoo asks to which the green reptilian replied happily, saying, "Tree!", to Shampoo's delight. Meanwhile, Mousse's interaction with the yellow creature went similar as he approached the small creature, gazing at each other before smiling as the yellow bipedal walked up to him.

"So, wanna be friends?", Mousse asks the small creature, earning a nod from it. Suddenly, its eyes glow as it stares directly into Mousse's and started communicating to him via telepathy.

(Telepathy / Telepathic Speech)

(Hello! I'm a male Abra. What's your name?), Mousse was startled, but, quickly recovered before introducing himself.

"I'm Mousse, of the Joketsuzoku.", Mousse said smiling at his new small friend before asking his yellow companion.

"Say, you want a name? Cause I'm not gonna keep calling you an Abra as you call yourself.", Mousse said to which his yellow friend nodded, happy to be given a new name.

(So what will you call me?), The Abra asked. Mousse tried coming up with a name that best fitted his new companion. After a while, he finally found one as he turned to the Abra.

"How about, Dá. It means 'achieve, arrive at, or intelligent'. You like it?", Mousse said waiting for his friend's opinion. The Abra, beamed at the name and nodded happily.

(Like it? I love it, thanks!), Dá said happily. Just then, they heard chuckling belonging to a certain elder matriarch.

{Hehehe... Well, it seems you both made some new friends haven't you now?}, Cologne said. She had been carefully observing the whole interactions between the young Amazons and strange creatures. She was proud of seeing the two, and after seeing the newly formed friendships between them, she made a decision.

{Well, I have decided that you two should keep them seeing as both have already formed such bonds. Take good care of them.}, Cologne said as Shampoo and Mousse happily nodded, grateful toward the elder matriarch before smiling at their newly made companions.

After that, both Shampoo and Ye spent their time hanging out, getting to know each other, and even practiced and sparred in martial arts.

Mousse and Dá spent their time getting to know each other too, learned together, and they too practiced and even sparred against each other. One time, while they were practicing Dá's psychic abilities, he tried to practice on the strange balls and accidentally got him and Ye get caught inside the balls.

Mousse and Shampoo were horrified and panicked at first, thinking they were hurt or worse. But, they were relieved to find out that both of them were fine, however, both Mousse and Dá would get scolded and earning an ear full in the end.

"Shampoo!"

"*Groans* Mu Tsu...", Shampoo groans in exasperation. Mousse, without his glasses, with Dá, runs up towards the group to hug Shampoo... Only to hug Ryoga.

"Oh Shampoo, my love! Let's go on a date!", Mousse proclaims, while forcibly hugging poor Ryoga, much to the lost boy's dismay. "Hey! Get off me!", Ryoga struggles, trying to escape the blind boy's intimate grip. Shampoo and Ye groan at Mousse in annoyance, while Ranma and Blaze laugh their ass off at the situation. Azure tries to help his best bud out with Dá assisting.
