Disclaimer: I do not own Miraculous or any of its characters. I haven't written too much Plagg and Tikki lately… Time to change that. :)

Together Forever

"Plagg…? Do you… like this?"

The Black Cat kwami nibbled on a corner of his piece of camembert. He'd usually gulp down the small star-cut wheel of cheese the moment he was able to, but he only had so much for this outing. "Whatcha mean, sugar cube?"

Tikki sighed, shifting on the edge of the balcony railing. Her eyes stayed away from Plagg's. "Sometimes… I think about how it's only been us for the longest time… and how we'll be together until the end?" Sorrow pulled at the corners of her eyes and mouth. "We've already been through so many holders, and we'll go through millions more before the end of time. We barely see our friends because of how active our Miraculous are."

Plagg bit into the piece, letting the cheese melt over his tongue. After a moment of thought, the little kwami set the cheese slice on the open railing beside him. "You're lonely?"

"Sort of. I love being with you, Plagg, because you complete me like no one else can." Her eyes looked to the bakery's sidewalk down below. "But it also scares me sometimes. It will only be us. Everyone around us will be lost to time at some point or another, until the moment when the universe ends."

A little arm curled around the red one pressed to the railing.

When Tikki looked to her opposing counterpart, a sad smile stretched across his face. "I know how you feel, sugar cube. You feel scared I'm going to disappear too one day, even if it isn't possible, and you'll be all alone?"

Slowly, Tikki nodded her head.

Plagg shuffled closer to Tikki, letting her lean her head against his. "I know we don't have too many others, sugar cube. Our current holders won't be with us forever. Even our friends won't be around for as long as we will. But I can say this-" He leaned back, reached out with his other hand, and gently cupped her cheek. "-I won't leave you alone."

Before Tikki could protest, Plagg tilted his head and flashed her a mischievous grin. "Besides… you're the creation to my destruction. The stink to my cheese. You couldn't get rid of me if you tried."

A little laugh left her. "'Stink to my cheese.' Gross…"

"It still got a laugh out of you…"

Pride covered Plagg's face as Tikki gave a tiny scoff. She shook her head, then settled down with leaning her head against Plagg's. Their arms stayed curled together.

"I'm glad you're with me, Plagg. Even if you stink."

"'Course, sugar cube, and I'm glad you like being with me… even if you kinda have to be."

And as the moonlight illuminated the entire city, the two kwamis snuggled closer together, enjoying the moment in time when they could be with the one who completed them wholly.

Not my best, but not every one of these is going to be a banger. Nonetheless, I hope you all enjoyed the story! :D
