The sky was cloudless and vibrant, the lush green meadows shining as the sun rays fell upon them. The town of Pallet was peaceful and quiet. A gentle breeze wafted through the hill. The trees and flowers wave rhythmically according to the breeze.

In the quiet atmosphere, the small but elegant house with the red roof was the only exception. The little house was filled with the laughter and enthusiasm of a twelve year old and his trusted Pokemon's.

Delia Ketchum was outside her house gardening. From where she sits, she could see her son being cuddled by his pokemon. Mewtwo was a few yards away from them silently enjoying the interaction. Delia was happy to see her son smile. After the legendary weather trio went back to do their duties, Ash was pretty sad. But Pikachu, Mew and Lucario cheered him up.

They had come back to Pallet Town a week before. The day they came back Delia and Prof. Oak had arranged a huge party for Ash, congratulating his victory. Ash was so happy then. They spent the rest of the days resting, but then the legendary birds had to go back. Ash waved them goodbye and hoped to meet them at orange islands when he started the next journey.

He had even texted Lance after coming back home. From their recent text Ash knows very well that Lance is extremely busy and will not be reachable for quite some time. Ash wondered if he could have taken all these responsibilities after becoming the champion. To top it off Lance was also the leader of the G men. That means double pressure. Now he really cherishes his decision to not be the champion.

Ash and team spent the rest of the days in Pallet Town, training and also helping his mother in the house chores. Ash also took the time to train his aura and expand his bond with Lucario. He had planned to start his journey to orange islands a few weeks after, since he thought that his team needed time after all the hardships they had done for the league and compared to the Indigo conference, Orange league had less challenge. He had done his research on it along with professor Oak. So he is pretty confident regarding his schedule.

It was a normal day as usual, Ash was meditating at the courtyard when he was met with a sudden sense of panic. Ash opened his eyes in terror not understanding what the sudden feeling of dread was. Everything seemed to be at ease but Ash could feel the weird vibe around nature. His aura is going wild and is screaming danger.

[Pikapi?] "Ash?"

Ash looked from where he sits meeting the gaze of a concerned Pikachu and Lucario. Ash paid them little regard as of now and concentrated on where he got the sudden panic and fear. It wasn't just any indication of a disaster, someone he loves and cares about is involved in it. His panic is mostly for that reason than the incoming disaster. Ash used his aura and Arceus power to know what is causing the imbalance.

Ash suddenly stood up, eyes furrowed and looked at Lucario and Pikachu with seriousness."We're going to travel again."

"Right Now?" Lucario asked, concern evident in his voice.

"Yes. I had a bad feeling for the Weather Trio. Something bad is going to happen in Orange Islands. And the Weather trio is involved in it." Ash informed them and without wasting any time, he went upstairs to pack his belongings and essential gears for the trip. Lucario and Pikachu stood at the courtyard in shock, even though they had got the vibe of something wrong going to happen, only upon seeing the dread in Ash's face did they understand it was fatal. They looked at each other and joined Ash to help him to pack.

Delia was shocked to hear that Ash was going all of a sudden. Just seeing her son's face was enough to increase her worry. She knows that she can't stop Ash from whatever danger he is going towards, but the mother in her doesn't want it to happen. With a heavy heart she bid her son good bye hoping that he would be safe.

"Suicune, Raikou, Do you think you can get me to Orange Islands as fast as you can?" Ash asked once he was outside. Both legendaries nodded their heads and Ash returned the rest of the Pokemon back to its pokeball, Pikachu took his place on the shoulder. Ash looked back at his mother and promised her that he would call back once everything was fine.

Riding on the back of Raikou, they left the town hoping to reach the beach before sunset. Ash clutches Raikou's fur tightly and the more he gets closer to the beach, the more he feels the tremors of the Earth. Ash hopped down from Raikou and looked at the waves which didn't look calm. He released Suicune.

"Something is wrong." She said looking at the sea.

"I know. We need to go." Ash hopped on her back and they rode towards orange islands where Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno were. The sky was beautiful and bright, but Ash knew that it wouldn't stay like that. The balance of nature is crumbling, and nature is indicating it. Soon the calmness would be met with doom. If he is correct, Shamouti Island is their destination.

He can see a bunch of pokemon swimming around them towards the Shamouti Island at a faster pace. The pokemon are restless due to the imbalance, Ash clenches Suicune's fur a little more tightly hoping to calm his worry and anxiousness.

They were half way through the sea, when all of a sudden Ash heard a voice, at first it was not clear, but when Ash concentrated keenly, the voice belonged to someone old, the voice was mature and had power looming over each word. It seemed like a prophecy.

Disturb not the harmony of fire, ice or lightning

lest these titans wreak destruction

upon the world in which they clash.

Though the water's great guardian

shall arise to quell the fighting

alone its song will fail

lest the earth shall turn to ash.

O Chosen One, into thine hands

bring together all three.

Their treasures combined tame

the Beast of the Sea.

Ash was confused hearing it. He looked around, but found no one. Ash turned towards Suicune but she was so engrossed in navigating through the waves. Ash wondered what the prophecy meant. Does it have anything to do with the imbalance? Are the titans mentioned, be the Weather trio? And what about the beast of the sea? All these questions were looming over his head.

They finally arrive on Shamouti Island. Suicune shakes her body vigorously, drying herself from the salty water. Lucario gets out from the pokeball and stands protectively in front of Ash. Ash smiled fondly seeing that and turned towards the land. He squeaked upon seeing a bunch of the people with masks on their faces. They were in traditional costumes.

"Who are you?" A female voice asked, taking off her mask. Ash was kind of nervous seeing all these people together and just staring at him.

"Oh. Uh, I'm Ash Ketchum. Pokemon Trainer. A pleasure to meet you." Ash said awkwardly.

Suddenly the people began cheering and clapping their hands upon hearing Pokemon Trainer, making Ash flinch slightly. Among the crowd of people an old man came forward saying." The ancient legends foretell your arrival and only with you can the guardian of the waters anguish the great titans of fire, ice and lightning. In your hands O Chosen one, in your hands rest the world and fate."

Ash was frozen in place hearing that. The old man's words were similar to that of the prophecy he heard from the unknown voice. While Ash wandered along his train of thoughts, Lucario was growling at the island people who were shouting ' We have found our Chosen one.'

Lucario's growl made the old man and others take a step back in surrender. Ash got welcomed into the Island where he questioned them about the old man's words. They said that for centuries these words were passed down on them by their ancestors and are always said upon the Legends festival, in which the Guardian of the sea is worshipped and it is when the festival maiden would play the Ocarina. It is also said that a chosen one is prophesied, that would tame the birds of legend should they release their might on the world.

Ash listened to everything with utmost patience and understanding. He is certain that the prophecy he heard earlier is indicating the same event. But if the prophecy was there, centuries ago then the solution would also be indicated somewhere. But unfortunately, they don't know anything regarding how to calm the titans as said in prophecy. Therefore Ash asked the Isle people more about the festival rituals,

This time he was supplied with the answer by a girl around his own age. She was this year's festival maiden, her name is Melody. She was also wearing a traditional dress, and there was an Ocarina in her hands. Before answering his question, she played the ocarina. It was beautiful, the song she played was exotic and Ash felt calmness spreading through his raging mind. Ash smiled warmly and for a few minutes floated along with the sweet melancholy.

Melody explained to Ash that according to their ritual, the three isles surrounding the Shamouti island are the fire Island, ice island, and the lightning island. Each island is home to Moltres, Articuno and Zapdos. There is a shrine on the Southern end of the island facing the three isles. The chosen one is said to collect three ancient spheres/orbs / treasures, one from each Isle and had to bring them to the shrine. And once the orbs are placed on respective areas, the Ocarina is played, and that would tame the Guardian of the sea.

The Islander's also said that the bird trio are in Constant anger, if they ever met each other beyond their territories. That was a surprise for Ash.

"If they are in constant anger then why didn't they fight when I was beside them?" Ash asked Suicune telepathically.

"It's because of your aura, Ash." She answered. "Your aura is calming and washes away all the negative emotions and frustrations. So besides you, they aren't angry but if you avoid that aspect the weather trio is not far from the creation trio. They spar when any of them exceeds their territory. So all in all if the Legendaries go wild, they cannot be controlled."

' Can't be controlled?' Ash asked, eyebrows furrowed. Lucario puts his paws on Ash's shoulder, to ease his worries a little. Ash got all the necessary info he wanted. Now he knows what is causing the imbalance. But still, the question lingers as to who is the reason behind it.

But now he needs to find the bird trio and also the ancient treasures. Everything else is in the hands of fate. He looked outside, there wasn't any time to waste, the weather was getting catastrophic. Melody and her sister, seeing his urgency, offered a boat to go to the fire Island. Ash was grateful for that, but declined it since he had to do things at a faster pace.

There was a storm coming and also the sea was very violent. It was difficult to navigate through the waves. Pikachu clung onto Ash's hat and was very worried. Ash sent a calming aura towards Pikachu but it was doing less wonders as Ash itself was a little nervous. Lucario stood protectively around them, making sure no harm comes to their Prince in the whole world saving process.

Ash released Suicune, and recalled Lucario,who wasn't very happy to leave him even for a second. But Suicune assured him of Ash's safety.

[Pika!] "Hurry Up!"

"Hop on!" Suicune bent down and Ash hopped on to Suicune's back. With determination and courage to face any odds Ash rode Suicune towards the fire hoped whatever fate had in store for him,he would be able to pull that off.

They arrived at the fire island and without wasting time Pikachu ran into the shrine followed by Ash and Suicune.

"Pikachu?" Ash asked and looked at where Pikachu was pointing. There on the mouth of the statue was the ancient sphere.

[Pika, Pika, Chu..] "Take it, Ash! We need to stop these unnatural phenomena!"

Ash nods his head and takes the orb out from the statue, it was really hard to remove it but using his full force he took it out . Once he had the orb in hand, it started to glow red and Ash could see a flame inside the orb. Ash was about to exit the place when attacks of electricity were thrown towards them.

Ash, Suicune and Pikachu dodged each attack. In a few seconds the whole island was a bluish electric terrain. Ash bewilderedly looked up to see Zapdos attacking them mercilessly as if they never met. Pikachu's cheeks were sparkling. But Ash knows that his partner is trying to communicate.

[ Pika Pikachu pika chu pi Pikachu! ] " What are you doing here on fire island Zapdos! Where is Moltres? " Pikachu asked by sending a bolt of electricity directly at Zapdos. Zapdos didn't pay attention and attacked Pikachu but Pikachu didn't back down, he again asked the same question. This time Zapdos did reply.

" Moltres used to rule here, but now since Moltres is gone, lightning shall rule over fire and I claim this Island as my own from this day forward."

Ash was enraged hearing the reply. He clenched his fist tightly but still maintained his composure. So all these happened with Moltres missing, otherwise Zapdos wouldn't be here. What would have happened to Moltres? But still how can Zapdos be this Selfish! Protecting nature is their duty and they came here to fulfill that, but now they are fighting over territory, forgetting every responsibility they had. He really needs to teach him a lesson.

Before Ash could do anything or Zapdos could attack again, a beam of energy hit Zapdos from the sky. Ash widened his eyes when an airship descended from the sky. At that moment Ash understood that the culprit behind the imbalance and disruption of harmony among the legendary bird trio was in the airship. To his shock, square-shaped rings were launched at Zapdos capturing it. Ash moved forward to save Zapdos but the same capture rings were aimed at Ash, Pikachu and Suicune capturing them too. They were brought abroad on the ship.

Once inside, Ash saw Moltres and Articuno caged, trying to escape their prison. His blood boiled seeing the suffering the legendary Pokemon was facing. Whoever did this, they are going to face his wrath and be punished for it, Ash would make sure of that.
