I don't wanna get bashed for some of the things I'm going to do to these characters. I know that everyone loves all of them but please respect my story, it's my first. All characters belong to J.K. Rowling. This is Ophelia's POV! Please enjoy:)
December 18
Ophelia paced the firelit sitting room, nervously straightening the blankets, adjusting the curtains, checking the fire, and then repeating all of those. She sighed as she collapsed into one of the two sitting chairs, resting her head on her hand. The chairs had been positioned facing both one another and the fire, which Ophelia couldn't decide was a good or bad idea.
Voldemort entered the room in a flourish, as usual. He looked her up and down before taking his seat across from her. She said nothing as he sat in the seat opposite hers.
"Tilly," Ophelia called. The elf popped in front of her in an instant, bowing and waiting for an order. The witch smiled, "Would you please bring us the cakes? And take off the charm?"
"Of course, miss." The elf popped out of view only to return seconds later with one tiny hand on a table, made of silver. On the table were cakes, lots of cakes. Each with its own handwritten label, there was one of every color.
Tilly smiled sloppily at the two. "Anything else you need, Miss? Master?"
"No thank you." Lord Voldemort spoke for the first time.
There was a moment of awkward silence between the two. Voldemort was starring at her again, she could nearly feel his eyes tracing across her every feature. Ophelia focused her attention on the cakes, hoping that the evil lord would take the hint and begin to look.
Soon, Ophelia grew anxious, and as usual, began to make nervous small talk.
"I don't even know where to start." She confessed as she read over some of the cake flavors. "How could one person decide upon a flavor for hundreds of witches and wizards?"
"They will either eat it or they won't."
"You know," she started. "I never knew that planning a wedding would be such a large ordeal. Luckily, Narcissa knows everything there is to know on the subject."
"I suppose," the Dark Lord sat up, and began to also scan the many cake slices before him, "she ought to. She was raised to know everything about such things. Has she explained the differences between wizarding weddings and muggle?"
"She has." Ophelia nodded, "Quite odd, isn't it? That the first wedding I shall attend will be my own."
This brought the Dark Lord's eyes to her once more, even as they narrowed. "You've been to no weddings? I would have assumed that your muggle aunt would have dragged you to one. She seems the type."
"Well, I wouldn't know. I haven't met her."
"What?"
"Apparently," Ophelia twirled her fork with a tiny piece of icing on it, focusing on that rather than his gaze, "My relatives did not care to take in two children. So, Dumbledore saw fit to throw me into an orphanage instead. I grew up there."
"Oh." There was a small silence once more before Voldemort sighed. "I was an orphan as well, but you know that, do you not?"
"I do. Though I am curious, why were you never adopted?"
"Everyone who came by," He drawled as he stabbed a small piece of red cake, before pushing the plate to her, "seemed to find something... off about me. They thought I was a freak."
"Me as well." Ophelia said softly, before smiling a bit, "but, honestly, I cannot blame them. I mean, look at this hair. It is freakish."
Ok guys, I'm back. Im so sorry for making you wait so long for an update, but I have had a really REALLY tough past few months. Im sorry again. Lovig the support on the idea for a not-so-hot voldy story. I am really into pale, no nose Voldemort. I have a good few storyline that I write when I have free time with this Voldemort. I can't decide which story to actually focus on and post here, so I'm thinking that you guys can decide.
Here are the options:
1- Celeste Rosier: This is about the Heiress of Rowena Ravenclaw, and Dumbledore hides her true lineage. The Order kills her parents and sends her to an abusive squib. Obviously, she is a Ravenclaw and eventually finds out about the lies Voldemort finds her and tests her blood, and makes her his 'pet'. In this one, Voldemort falls for her and I don't really know how to go about it after a certain point.
2- Aurelia Black: This is Sirius Black's outcast daughter who is shoved aside on every occasion by the Order and Harry, so much so that she eventually turns dark. She performs a ritual that gives her immense power, and basically, she and Voldemort have a bond and fall in love. This does have a bittersweet ending. More in line with the books. I can't really explain more of this one without ruining some plot twists, but I really like this one.
3- Astoria Malfoy: in this one, Draco's older sister is shunned because she is a witch and Lucius does not allow her the title of Heir of House Malfoy. Voldemort likes her and takes her as his own. This one is dark. He takes her at first as a punishment to Lucius for losing his diary, but eventually, the two get very close and he marries her secretly in about the 6th book. This one does include Voldemort's death... but also another resurrection by Astoria herself.
4- Persephone Rosier: This one is another heiress, but she is the heiress of Morgana Le Fey. Again her parents are killed, but she is taken from the scene by Moony, who puts her in what he thinks is a safe catholic orphanage. This includes a prophecy, and Persephone spends a good few chapters accepting her role as Lady of Camelot and using the power of Morgana. A lot of rituals in this one. Persephone eventually consents to a marriage with Voldemort because it will bind the two and heal his soul and magical core.
THIS CHAPTER WILL BE EDITED AND MADE BETTER! I know it is short and kinda bad, but please have patience and faith. I will do my best to continue this one, I am just not as into it as I was when I started. I may just continue this fic until it is at a good stopping point, but if you are not into any of the other story options let a girl know. PLEASE REVIEW. I want your opinions before I continue on.
Sorry again,
