Hello everyone! I'm back with another chapter of Ash's Secret. And OH MY STARCLAN! It's been three months since I updated this story! I'm so soooorry! But I'm finally updating it! So yay! Anyways, with all that out of the way, I hope you enjoy reading this chapter. Now, without further ado, let's take flight.
A Trip To Sinnoh And Training
"So, you two are heading to Sinnoh next?" Professor Cerise asked, coming over to stand next to me and Go, as he spoke. "Yep" I say. "I've been there before and there are all sorts of Pokemon that Go's never scene before," I continued, glancing over at Go, who looked ready to see some new Pokemon.
"Can I tag along?" The three of us looked to see Chloe standing in the doorway with a sideways glance in my direction. I nodded to Chloe, and Go turned to me with a confused look on his face. "It's not what your thinking Go." I quickly cut in before he could even open his moth to speak.
"You sure about that?" He asked, and I rolled my eyes and gave him a slight glare as Pikachu shook his head back and forth in amusement. "Yeah, what he said." Chloe replied, remembering to not blurt out what she had learned a few days prior.
"Well, we'd better get going if we want to make it to the train station," I say, and the other two nodded and we said a quick goodby to Professor Cerise before heading to the train station. "So... How has Scorbunny's training been going?" Chloe asked, breaking the silence that had fallen.
"It could be going better, I just feel bad for Scorbunny. I mean, it's been trying so hard with no luck whatsoever. But don't you worry about it, I have a plan."
"Not very well, but I have an idea how to fix that little problem," I say, and Go's interest peaked at those words. "What do you have in mind?" He asked, and I just grinned cheekily at him as I replied, "You'll see," I sing-songed, turning to Chloe and whispering something in her ear.
When we finally arrived in Sinnoh, the first stop we made was to the Pokemon Center. Once inside, I quickly called Professor Oak to pull of my plan.
"Hi, Professor Oak! I was wondering if you could send me Quilava, we have a Pokemon who needs help learning a fire-type move," I say, and he nods and soon enough, Quilava's Poke-Ball is sent threw the transporter.
"So... This is your plan to help Scorbunny?" Go asks, and I nodded my head with a wide grin on my face. "Bingo," I replied, throwing the Poke-Ball up and releasing her. "You see... Quilava hasn't been used very much since she evolved, but she's going to help Scorbunny lean a fire-type move."
As we exited the Pokemon Center and walked out into the streets of Jubilife City, I caught sight of a familiar face. It was Zoey and Glameow. I waved happily and called out to them, and Zoey turned around and her eyes widened in surprise before a bright smile broke out on her face as she came over to join us.
"Hi, Ash. Hi, Pikachu. Long time no see! How have you been? And who are your friends?" She asked, and I smiled brightly at her and replied, "This is Go, and his childhood friend, Chloe." I said, motioning to ny two companions, who both waved and smiled warmly at Zoey.
"So... Do either of them know about..." She purposely trailed off, as she glanced over at Go and Chloe, who glanced at each other. "Yes, Chloe does." I replied, turning to glance at said girl, who nodded and looked at Zoey with wide eyes. "You know too, Zoey?" She asked, and the red haired girl nodded her head in confirmation.
"So… Is Dawn around here?" I asked, and Zoey nodded and I smiled brightly. "Is she competing in the Jubilife contest again?" I asked, to witch Zoey nodded and I turned my attention to the building where the contest would be taking place. "Then that settles it, I'm going to enter!" I cheered, and Zoey laughed quiatly and shook her head in amusement.
"As will I," She replied, and Glameow jumped on Zoey's shoulder with a confident gleam in her eyes. "Well, then I hope we meet on the battle field, Zoey."
