Reunions And Pokemon Contests
"Hay, Ash, there's a Pokémon contest tomorrow. You should register and enter," Zoey said, with a bright smile on her face as she stared at her friend.
"A Pokémon contest? What's that?" Chloe asked, blinking in confusion as she stared at her friend with confusion shining in her eyes.
"A Pokémon contest is where Pokémon show off there moves and appeal in battle, then they show off there moves in a battle that can suck away there points based on how appealing the moves are." Ash explained, "There are two main stages in Pokemon contest, the appeals round and the battle round." She continued.
"Wow! That's awesome, that sounds like a lot of fun to watch," Chloe says as she smiled brightly at Ash and Zoey, who both nodded. "So your gonna enter? Can we watch it?" Go asks, and Ash and Zoey both nodded again.
As they entered the contest hall, Chloe gasped at Ashly's outfit. "Oh my goodness! Wow! You look amazing, Ashly. i've never scene you in a dress before." Chloe exclaimed, still staring as Zoey walked into the changing room.
"Woah, you look amazing, Ashly!" Zoey exclaimed, smiling wily at her friend as she looked at the dress that her friend was wearing. "Hay, what will you say when Dawn sees you?" Zoey asked, and Ash thiught for a moment before replying, "I'll just tell her that I'm Ash's twin sister so no one else finds out my secret,"
"Good plan, now come on. The preliminary round will be starting soon."
Okay, Zoey. Come on then," Ashly says, and Chloe gave the two a thumbs up as she made her way to the audience area.
"Good luck you two!" Chloe and Go both cheered, as a blue-haired girl came out into the stage wearing a gold and white dress with her hair in a ponytail.
"Cyndaquil, spotlight!" The girl cried, and the fire-type starter of Johto comes out in a burst of orange and red flames.
"Go Dawn! You can do it!" Ash and Zoey cried from the watching stand as they watched Dawn and Cuyndaquil finish up there first round appeal.
"Alright, the next coordinator up is Zoey!" Came Marion's voice from the stage. "Good luck, Zoey." Ash said, and Zoey smiled as Ash gave her a thumbs up.
"Glameow, curtain!" Zoey called, as the small gray kitty came out in a flash of multicolored stars. "Glameow spin and use Iron Tail!" Zoey called to her Pokémon, who obeyed her trainers command, and jumped in the air and leting out a spin while doing Iron Tail.
"Great job on presenting her Pokémon's style and grace," One of the judges said, and Zoey smiled as she walked back into the contest hall where Ash congratulated her with a tight hug and a bright smile.
"Hay, Ashley. Hay, Zoey. It's so good to see you two again, I wish we had more time to chat." Dawn said, with a beaming smile on her face as she approved us. "Yeah, me too." Ashly said.
"The next coordinator is all the way from the Kanto region, please give a warm welcome to Ashly Ketchum, the twin sister of Ash Ketchum!"
"Pikachu, let's go!" Ashly called out, as she let the electric mouse jump off of her shoulder. "Now use Thunderbolt and jump through the rings of electricity!" She called out, and Pikachu nodded and leapt into action.
"Now, Pikachu. Finish it up with Iron Tail and jump through the rings using Quick Attack!" Ashly called, and Pikachu nodded and hit the electric rings with his tail.
"Nice job, Ash!" Go called out from the crowd. And Chloe gave a loud whistle in applause. "Great job, Ash. Keep it up, you can do it."
"Okay take a look up on the big screen, here are the coordinators moving on to the second round!" Came Marion's voice from the stage as everyone turned there attention to the screen.
The pictures flashed on the screen and Chloe and Go both cheered when they saw Ash, Zoey and the blue haired girl all appear on the screen. "Yes! Yes! Yes! Go Ash and Zoey!" They cheered loudly, and clapped there hands as they turned there attention to the screen.
"And the first round of the battle stage is going to be, Dawn vs. Keena. There will be a five minute time limit," Marion announced, and the crowd went wild as cheers filled the audience.
"Who do you think will win?" Go asked, turning to look at Chloe, who just shrugged and turned back to watch the battle. "I dunno, we'll just have to wait and see."
The battle went by in a blur and soon Ash and the blue haired girl were up against each other in battle. Ash had sent out Quilava while the blue haired girl sent out Pachirisu. The battle was amazing and it was super intense.
"Woah! They really are going head to head, that's amazing. Its anyones guess to how this battle will end." Go said, as he studded the battle more closely. "Yeah, you're right, Go." Chloe remarked, as she watched Pachirisu get hit with a combination of Swift and Flame Wheel curtesy of Ashly's well thought out strategy.
