As Cologne for once was walking instead of hopping on her stick to the Tendo's, Happosai landed in front of her and she told him what she found out and he said
"Something needs to be done about that family" then he took off, leaving Cologne to wonder what he was going to do. A few minutes after arriving at the Tendo's a scream of
"WHAT?!" came from the building
"NO this can't happen " came Akane's reply out of the combined duo
"I wish that I was lying as well in fact he was surprised to hear that you have stayed somewhat separate this long as it normally happens rights away. The few times it has been used. Unfortunately, soon Ranma Saotome and you Akane Tendo will no longer exist it'll just be Rakanma"
"NO there gotta be a way" came Ranma's reply
"I'm sorry. The shop owner said that with one exception, once they are used it is permanent so it's an ultimate last resort type of thing. Also, those earrings weren't supposed to be in this dimension let alone this multiverse and they were supposed to be transferred to a museum in Asgard"
"One exception, THEN IT's possible?"
"No, because the only way it happened was for a creature and from what he said a hundred times more powerful than Saffron, to eat them and before you ask the creature doesn't exist here and it is dead"
Rakanma saw a faint green outline surrounding her body so she got up and headed outside, then she hopped the fence and after a few minutes everyone heard
"SHIN SHI SHI HOKIDEN"
Before a green beam of light went up into the sky then came back down shortly after. A few more minutes passed before Rakanma hopped back over the wall then walked to the koi pond, took off her kungfu slippers sat down on one of the boulders surrounding it and stared at the koi now swimming around her feet
"So, what happens to our children now, Elder?" Nodoka asked
"Well, there are a few options. One option is to just continue as normal, the second is we can alter everyone's minds so Ranma and Akane never existed, the third option is pretty much the same as two but instead of altering memories we fake Ranma and Akane's deaths and make the Kuno's take the fall while claiming Rakanma is a relative of one of your families and the last is we use the age altering mushrooms, erase their memories and fake their deaths"
"We should let them decide"
"WE HEARD just GIVE US some time TO TALK IT OVER"
They went to get some hot and cold water before heading upstairs to their room, they then used the hot water and became a slightly taller man than Ranma had been and they looked much like their female but with a bit, Soun's thrown in.
They then used the cold before lying down and entered their mind version of the home and talked/ trained. The next morning, they got up got dressed and headed downstairs and after breakfast, they spoke to their family, the Amazons and Ukyo
"Before I…we do this we have decided on a few non-negotiable terms," Ranma said
"What are they son, Akane?" Nodoka asked
(1) OUR FATHERS WILL HAVE NO SAY once so EVER IN OUR UPBRINGING that falls to Mom and Kasumi SINCE TECHNICALLY, we will BE OUR OWN GRANDchild, as we WOULD have WANTed them to raise HIM OR HER if someTHING had HAPPENED to us."
"WE PROMISE" Nodoka and Kasumi replied together
"(2) DO NOT let us go a TRAINING TRIP LONger then, one moNTH with either of them.
"If they want to continue living that won't be a problem. Will it Genma, Soun?" Nodoka asked while fingering her katana to which both pull the "I'm just a cute panda" bit despite not being a panda causing everyone to roll their eyes
"(3) DO NOT them or US FOCUS only on MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING make sure WE HAVE a HobbY or two," said Rakanma with Akane then adding "MAYBE LET us do dance, art, COSPLAY, play video games, cooking, ANYTHING other than just martial arts."
"They won't do that will you," Nodoka said to which both fathers said "No we won't"
"(4) DO NOT ENGAGE us to ANYONE male or FEMALE. IF YOU do I will refuse and if necessary run away"
Genma and Soun started to run only to get hit with the table that Rakanma threw, she then marched out with Nodoka's katana and held it at Genma's neck while standing on Soun
"WHAT DID YOU DO!" Rakanma screamed while a bright red aura erupted to which made the father's pass out
"I know and it's the reason they have been so desperate to get you married, " Nabiki said, everyone pulled out some money and handed it to her. Nabiki started to reach for it but stopped "I can't believe I'm saying this but put that away, it's free this time" they pulled their money back and she continued "They arranged for their firstborn grandchild to be engaged to one of the twins of the _ about to be born"
Pinching their nose Rakanma said "DIVORCE HIM, kill him, LOCK HIM and SELL HIM I don't care WHICH YOU DO but he has NOTHING to me EVER AGAIN. Elder, once I am OLD ENOUGH will you teach us and, in both forms if I still have my curse?"
"Sure thing, I would be honoured"
"Thank you and Mom, you can probably guess what number 5 of my non-negotiable terms is." she nodded "if I am not locked, please raise me as both male and female equally and when I am old enough tell me about my "parents" ok"
Everyone had noticed that their voice would shift from being both of their voices to one of their voices to a fully merged voice that both sounded and didn't sound like them at the same time
"I'm ready, Elder Old Ghoul"
Cologne slammed her cane into Rakanma's head before she erased the memories of Ranma and Akane, as they ate the age altering mushroom and soon Rakanma was a baby girl after she was dressed in one of Akane's old outfits, Ukyo decided to take a risk and ask her question
"Kasumi, Aunty"
"Yes, Ukyo?"
"I just spoke to my father and told him what had happened and he said either I marry Ranma or I can become a full boy." Everyone looked at her sadly as they figured that meant either sex change or using Jusenkyo "would…would you be willing to have two babies"
"Ukyo?"
"I know it's a last-minute thing but thanks to my father my options are limited. I can either become a boy permanently, disappear by using the water of some animal to end up as someone's pet, if not as an exhibit in the zoo or as someone's hunting trophy. Then I remembered about the age-altering mushrooms so given my choices. It didn't take me long to consider this as I might be able to have a normal life if I became a baby"
"Would being a boy be so bad & Uuchan's?
"NABIKI?"
"What Oneechan? Ever since Ranma arrived I have considered getting some Nannichuan for myself, you know how women are treated especially here in Japan"
"There's nothing wrong with it, Nabiki but I have done it once and without the aid of Jusenkyo or surgery and I HATED IT. Have you ever heard of nature vs nurture?" seeing a few nods she continued "well I'm pretty sure because of being raised as a boy, I'm bi-sexual especially since my father made me take girl's out on dates and I don't want to go through that again. As for Uuchan's no matter what option I take I will be giving UUCHAN's over to you and or Kasumi plus Konatsu is willing to work for both and or either of you"
"Hmmm, are you sure about this?" Nabiki asked and Ukyo nodded
"You realize that if Kasumi raises you, there's no way that you and Ranma could get together. Since technically you'd be cousins" Nodoka said
"I know, but having a chance to restart our friendship is good enough" Ukyo replied
Cologne looked at her then said "You become Shampoo's daughter, that way after you both are grown-up again, you'd have a better chance with becoming his/wife"
seeing Shampoo nodded as she said ok
EPILOGUE
Shampoo and Konatsu got married because he beat her after she picked a fight with him, this had a bonus effect of pissing Mousse off. They raised Ukyo and taught her both the Amazon and Ninjitsu ways while Shampoo learned Japanese
Nabiki and Mousse got married because she beat him…at Mahjong, Cologne claimed that beating an Amazon at a game was the same as beating them in combat. Nabiki suspects, she did it only to get him away from Shampoo, but since she gave her part ownership of the Nekohatten, she didn't mind as she made it into a franchise
Kasumi and Tofu got married…but not to each other as he wouldn't lose that quirk until a couple of months after her wedding to Taichi Higurashi a young man she meet when she went back to school, who came back into her life
Nodoka got divorced but it didn't stop the Dynamic Dimwits from trying to kidnap Rakanma, this incident led to Tofu and Nodoka's marriage & her pregnancy
For attempting to kidnap Rakanma Soun found himself turned into a Panda, locked and sold to the zoo. There they found something out about their Panda forms
Ukyo was taken by Cologne who ordered Shampoo to raise her which she did she taught Ukyo Chinese and the Amazon ways while her husband would teach her ninjitsu and taught both Japanese
and finally, Rakanma remained unlocked so every week his/her new parents would change her to him and vice versa that is at least until he/she was five then it was mainly when she or he wanted to.
At the age of 6 when they started kindergarten Rakanma was teased for his/her ability but only by a few, some ignored him/her while a couple of others including Ukyo would become friends. However, Rakanma and Ukyo would become BFFs they even gave each other nicknames…Uuchan and Rakchan.
At the age of 8, Cologne started teaching them and was surprised how fast they learned and even more surprised they didn't freak at the sight of Neko-Shampoo. Rakanma shook but she didn't run or hide she just petted her then scratched her stomach when rolled over.
At the age of 10 both Rakanma and Ukyo competed in a Martial Arts Tournament and both met in the finals of the kid's matches, they had been going back and forth with several close calls until Ukyo suplexed Rakanma but he landed on his feet then as she turns, he caught her with a kick knocking her out.
At Rakanma's victory party, Ukyo went up to him and kissed him before saying "Wǒ ài nǐ, Airen" then she poured cold water and repeated it, causing Rakanma to blush
as that happened Nabiki overheard Shampoo mumbling
"I wish I had thought to do that" that caused Nabiki to uncharacteristically grabs her into a hug
"At least you didn't let the curse scare you away like I did" the two then went off talking
"Uuchan, I think we're too young to be married and I'm glad that this doesn't bother you but could we be boyfriend and girlfriend first"
"That's a good idea, Great Great Granddaughters"
"Well then Wǒ ài nǐ, wǒ de nǚ péngyǒu"
"Wǒ ài nǐ, wǒ de nán péngyǒu"
A/N: just to clarify Ranma has limited control over the curse but it still can activate with water if he or she doesn't stop it in time
I used several translation websites & they all say
Wǒ ài nǐ, wǒ de nǚ péngyǒu = I Love You my girlfriend"
Wǒ ài nǐ, wǒ de nán péngyǒu = I Love You my boyfriend"
Yes I set up Rakanma for a sequel but it will most likely will only be an appearance in Sliders 1/2 if I decide to continue it
