Hello all who see this as you can guess my username is GameCguru (you get to guess what the C stands for). I'm in love with all things video games and anime and I plan to major in computer science. I'm male for those of you were wondering and I graduated from Liberty High School.

Favorite Anime:

Gurren Lagann- An insanely entertaining show that I can rewatch anytime. I love the characters, the fights, and the music. The only thing that's a little lacking is the pace of the story but it doesn't ruin the show for me.

Code Geass- Intellectually stimulating and a brilliant look at corruption and politics, Code Geass is
an amazingly well put together series with interesting and unique characters, stunning visuals, and unlike gurren Lagann a story that is not only well paced but well told.

Cowboy Bebop- my personal favorite anime of all time. while lacking in a deep story like Code Geass, Cowboy Bebop more than makes up for with it's well done characters, music, and individual stories that allow it to stand as My favorite anime of all time.

Durarara!!- Another good series with good characters, minus the "main" character, good story, and just an over all entertaining show.

Fate Zero- While I've seen Fate stay night Fate Zero totally blows it out of the water with it's story, characters, and overall atmosphere that makes this one of the best anime I've ever seen.

Soul eater- I admit I kinda prefer the manga over the anime the anime is still good. It has fun characters, good animation, and an interesting setting and world. But the manga has the better story and development but I still like both versions.

Favorite Manga:

Pandora Hearts-This WAS my favorite Manga up till chapter 60, but until then this was an incredibly fun manga to read with fun characters, an interesting story, and fun action scenes. but after Chapter 60 I can't stand this manga.

Elfen Lied- This is such a tragic series that really knows how to play with your emotions. Good story, okay characters, and really nice symbolism. the ending isn't as good as the anime's but the manga is better than the anime overall.

Fullmetal alchemist- Yes I prefer the manga of fullmetal alchemist to the 2003 Anime. The manga I just think has the better story and characters than the anime. the story either way is great and has every reason to be regarded as one of the best anime and manga series of all time.

Favorite Video games:

Tales series- This is my favorite franchise of all time. My favorite game from this series, and subsequently my favorite video game of all time is Tales of Veperia for the 360. I love the Characters, the story, the gameplay, the music, the graphics, and everything else. My second favorite game in the series keeps flip flopping between Tales of Symphonia and Tales of the Abyss. Both have great stories, interesting and well written characters, fun and intense gameplay, and they both have great soundtracks.

Kingdom Hearts- Personal favorite game in the series is Birth by sleep but I definitely enjoy the whole series. Love the characters, the story, the music, and the gameplay.

Devil May Cry- the original 4 games are some of my favorite video games of all time. With interesting characters and gameplay and I can play this series anytime.

Blazblue- My favorite fighting game of all time. Fun gameplay, unique and diverse characters, and a story that's worth a damn in a fighting game. I have a blast every time I play it.

Sonic the hedgehog- My personal favorite game from the series is Sonic adventure 2 battle which had fun gameplay, a decent story, and an awesome soundtrack. And I still enjoy the rest of the series for the most part.

Okami- My personal favorite game on the Wii. I love the characters, the script, the music, and the story. the only problem I have is that the controls can be a little wonkie, but they still work 80% of the time.

Shin Megami Tensei- So far I've only played persona 4 but I plan to eventually play Persona 3 Fes and a few other games in the series. As for Persona 4 I love the characters, the gameplay, the Music, and the story and it's currently one of my favorite games of all time.

Skies of Arcadia legends- My second favorite game on the Gamecube (behind Tales of Symphonia) It has great characters, good gameplay, and good music. The only problem with it is that it's riddled with cliches to the point of hilarity.

10. Neku (The world ends with you)

I put Neku here because he has such good development. He goes from an angsty loner who didn't understand the value of other people to a kind and selfless person who realizes that the world doesn't revolve around him.

9. Roxas (Kingdom hearts)

This is such a tragic character and it's so hard to not feel for him since so much crap happens to him that he doesn't deserve. He tries to find his place in the world through the organization and even though he finds best friends in Xion and Axel he gradually loses them over the course of his year in the organization until he literally has nothing. And even after all that he still finds it in him to sacrifice his life so that Sora could wake up.

8. Izaya Orihara (Durarara!!)

This is such a bastard of a character that you can't help but like. he's a troll and damn proud of it, constantly misleading characters and annoying the hell out of Shizuo. and I love him for it.

7. Vyse of the blue rogues (Skies of Arcadia legends)

Vyse is a prime of example optimism winning the day as Vyse NEVER gives up on anyone or anything. He's quick to lend a hand to those in need and he's also a powerful fighter and a brilliant strategist having taken down the Valuan armada multiple times, defeating the six gigas, and defeated General Galcian and his lieutenant Ramirez.

6. Ragna the bloodedge (Blazblue)

Ragna is categorized as a hardass with a heart of gold and he proves that through his interactions with Tao and Noel. on top of just being a good person Ragna is also an insanely strong fighter having defeated Hazama and Mu-12.

5. Kamina (Gurren Lagann)

Kamina is the epitome of badass and is so cool that even when he does something stupid you can't help but like him and even after he dies (spoilers) he still has a huge impact on the characters and the world. So yeah Kamina is badass end of story.

4. Lelouch Lamprouge (Code Geass)

Lelouch is such an interesting character in that you can never really pinpoint if he's a good and righteous person or a cruel and evil person. and it's the way he skirts that line that is just so interesting to examine and discuss.

3. Spike (Cowboy Bebop)

What makes Spike such a good character is his past and how its shaped him. Before the events of Cowboy Bebop Spike was a member of the syndicate which is an organization of mercenaries and assassins after a falling out with his old flame he left the syndicate and became a bounty hunter with Jet. By the end of Cowboy Bebop Spike had found something of a second home on board the Bebop and that leads into the final two episodes of the show which I won't spoil.

2. Dante (Devil May Cry)

Dante is badass I don't have to say anymore than that . He's just a pizza-loving, half-demon, devil slayer with a heart of gold and he's awesome for it.

1. Luke Fon Fabre (Tales of the Abyss)

Luke is my favorite male character because he is such a well-written and well-developed character going from a spoiled rich kid who didn't care about other people to a kind and selfless hero. I also learned an important life lesson from Luke, that is "there is no special meaning in living." meaning that life doesn't have some grand purpose, that it's a gift just to be alive. And for that reason Luke is my favorite male character.
