Am I your girlfriend?

An AU fic on episode 49, Kasumi falls into a great depression when she thinks she'll never find a man that would love and marry her, but Ranma would make sure to be there for her because she deserves better. This goes on for a while until the Nermia wrecking crew stop by one day and almost hurt Kasumi. While trying to protect her, Ranma falls into the koi pond and after this accident, Kasumi made a big choice about what she wanted in her life.

When Ranma woke up, she sat up and her and Kasumi met lips.
Not noticing that Akane had just walked in on them, both of them were stunned by what just happened.
Ranma pulled away as fast as she could and she started apologizing. "Oh god, Kasumi, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to."
The eldest daughter was too fazed to realize what happened as her face was too rosy and hot. Her body locked in place.
She snapped out of it though when Akane yelled out for Ranma.
Not even a chance to react, Akane connected the mallet to Ranma and she immediately blew back and hit her head again.

Kasumi walking with Ranma was very concerned for her health right now as she had no memory of who she really was.
It was until she ran into the two elder men and her youngest sister that she stopped.
"You need to start acting right this instance boy. You are putting the sake of the school in jeopardy." Genma stated
"No you don't. Ranma you are fine the way you are. I can help you make a lot of money for yourself if you believe me on what I say." Nabiki said goadingly as she had every intention to use Ranma for her personal gain.
Ranma was distraught because she didn't know what to believe in. Was she a boy or a girl?
Her heart was beating fast, but she was looking to Kasumi for help. "I don't know what to do or what to believe. Kasumi, who am I?!" She said distraughtingly.
Feeling bad for Ranma it looked like she was about to cry. It made her urge to try and help her but what happened earlier with Ranma was making this choice hard for her on how to break it down to Ranma.
Before she could say anything, Genma yelled at his son turned daughter. "Are you crying boy? Dammit, be a man!"
Kasumi frowned at the way he yelled at her. Ranma is not in a safe mental state right now and this is how they would treat her. It made her think over what everyone else has done to Ranma when she has helped them but they still get mad at her still. Plain and simple, everyone just asks too much from Ranma and they try to take advantage of that fact whenever they feel like it. That is no way to be treated.
After having depression for the longest time, Ranma was there for her. He helped her in every way to cheer her up and he deserves so much better. Now, Ranma is in a similar situation and it is time to repay her for what she has done for her.
"Ranma. Please listen to me. What I am about to tell you is the truth about who you are. Please promise me when you hear this you'll be open to anything that I tell you."
Everyone looked at Kasumi strangely and they didn't know what she was going to say.
"I promise." Ranma said.
"Alright. You are Ranma, and you are actually a girl cursed to turn into a boy."
"What!!!" Everyone said in severe shock.
"And I am your girlfriend." Kasumi said as she put her hands on Ranma's face and kissed her.
Everyone dropped dead on the floor from this over what they had just heard.

Kasumi was in the kitchen getting ready to cook. She was just waiting for Ranma to come back from the grocery store, but it has been longer than expected for her to come back. It wasn't that many ingredients that she had to get so it made her curious of where her girlfriend could be. She might have to go looking for her so she stopped everything she was doing and prepared to leave.
But she was stopped again when she heard the front door open. It must've been Ranma who finally gotten home. Here she was a little worried that something bad happened to Ranma. She resumed her work then and waited for her.
Ranma then approached the kitchen dragging her legs and carrying the groceries at the same time. "Hey Kasumi, I'm home." She said nausily.
A smile appeared on her face and she turned around to see her girlfriend. But when she saw her, her heart dropped down and broke. Ranma was all hurt, bruised, and scratched up.
Her face was broken as her eyes didn't have the glowing sparkle they usually had, now it was purple and swelled up with bloodshot eyes. Her nose was broken and bleeding. Her hair, not even in its pigtail, was cut off, leaving her with a ugly haircut. To make it worse, she was wearing no pants and her shirt was all torn up to see the visible damage on her. To make it worse, her leg was broken and she did it while she was grocery shopping.
"OH MY GOODNESS!! Ranma, what happened to you.?" She said horrifically.
"Don't worry about me. I… I just don't want to talk about it. Cmon, let's get dinner started." She said desperately as she hurried to the counter and got the ingredients out. She got out some peppers and immediately started to cut them up.
"No, please tell me what happened. Who did this to you?"
"No it's alright, I'm feeling fine." She said crackingly as she messed up and cut her finger. Her hesitation made her put it in her mouth to make it stop.
Kasumi was concerned for her and she ended up going to her. Before looking at the damage Ranma had done, she noticed Ranma was crying.
Her knees buckled and she fell to the floor. Crying heavily, Ranma didn't say anything at all.
Kasumi watching her girlfriend cry was so disheartening to see. She pulled a bandaid from her apron and took Ranma's hand away from her. She then bandaged it up and looked her in her eyes.
The look on her face said it all, she wasn't hurt physically, she was hurt mentally. Kasumi hugged her and brought her onto her lap and started rocking her. "It's ok, I'm here with you. I'll hold you like this for however long you want."
Ranma stuttered trying to speak, but only made it audible enough to where she only said, "but… but I can't. I have to act like a boy or else they would hurt me."
"Shh… shh… shh… You're not a boy. You're a girl. I won't let them hurt you."
"But… Akane. She tried to break me because I'm not listening to her about what she said was true. If she found out that I told you, she would do it again."
Just then, Akane showed up and she was mad that Ranma was sitting on her sister. She already taught her a lesson and it looks like she still needs to learn. She gave a low growl and it made Kasumi turn around and see her.
Kasumi had a look of disdain towards Akane and she saw that she had an intention to hurt Ranma some more. Kasumi put Ranma down on the floor and she got up. She went up to her sister and she slapped her across her face as soon as she approached her.
It made Akane fall to the ground, but Kasumi wasn't done there yet. She got on top of her and slapped her some more and made a fist to punch her in the eye. Once she was done, she got up and left her sister fazed and stunned.
Akane wasn't expecting her sister to react so violently and it made her realize that she had it within her to do something like that.
Finally, Kasumi went over to the crying Ranma and picked her up into her arms. "Cmon, we are going to my room. Dinner is canceled for tonight." She said carrying her. She then approached her sister, who was still on the floor and scolded her. "Stay away from my girlfriend!" She said to Akane.

The Tendos and Saotome's were all sitting at the table eating their lunch. Meanwhile, Kasumi and her fiancé were sitting right next to each other eating at the table.
Ranma was about to eat her chicken, but Kasumi picked at the piece of food and stole it. She then poked it at her fiancé's mouth until she'd open up and eat, to which she did so gladly.
Ranma enjoyed her fiancé feeding her like this and it made her blush over what she was doing.
However, it was an uncomfortable feeling for the people at the table. This is not right and it shouldn't be happening at all. Kasumi is the one causing all of this to happen and she needs to be the one to break off this relationship she is making Ranma believe is real.
"Ranma dear," Genma called out with a fake tone, while trying to hide the disgust of how he was about to talk to his son. "Could you please be a dear and get your father some sakè" he said with a fake tone, but the benefit to it was he knew there was no sakè left in the house, he just needed to get Ranma out of there so he could speak to Kasumi about what she is doing.
"Isn't it a little early to be drinking father? It isn't good for your health to be doing that." Ranma said concernedly.
"Ohh, you don't need to worry about me, I'm just going to have a small drink and that is it."
Ranma understood and she left to go get the sakè.
Now onto other things.
"Kasumi," Genma called out to her. "What have you done to my son?" He said rhetorically.
Knowing what he wanted, she didn't even bother to humor him that much. "I'm not telling her a thing. All of you have taken advantage of her for the last time and I won't allow you to do that to my fiancé." Kasumi said.
"You need to fix Ranma right now young lady. You are putting us in jeopardy." Sound said.
"Oh, is that so? How's that any different when you exploited Ranma and hurt him. You don't like it now, do you. Ranma is staying this way and that's final."

"Ranma, I'm sorry that I lied to you. But just because you know the truth doesn't mean you need to go back to acting like a man again."
Ranma stopped crying after she said that.
"I'm saying that because… I don't care if you are a man or a woman because I just want you. I love you. You make me feel special than anybody else. But if you don't believe me, then let me prove it."
Kasumi then pulled out a small box from the sleeve of her shirt and she opened it up to Ranma to reveal a ring.
"Ranma Saotome, will you marry me?"
It started to make her cry more when she did this but these were tears of joy she was crying out now.
She then wrapped her arms around Kasumi and kissed her patiently. "Yes! Yes! Yes I will marry you Kasumi!" She said ecstatically.
