This is just an updated version of chapter 11. You dont have to read it if you dont want to, but i recommend it because we've added some pretty interesting stuff.

The four left the mansion after finally gathering their stuff.

Luckily the hotel was nearby so they were able to walk to it in a few hours.

They were planning on renting a seperate room for each one of them. But it seems they were a bit too late and there were only three rooms left.

*Now, where did that luck stat of me go? Did it leave me?*

Kazuma turned to the three with a blank face.

"How are we going to solve this predicament?"

They looked back at him blankly.

"Which predicament?" 3X

"There's only 3 rooms left."

The stares remained blank for a few seconds.

Until, at the same time. Megumin and Kazuma realized something.

Three rooms, two people will have to stay in one room together for multiple days.

The perfect excuse!

Kazuma's face got a bit scarlet from the idea of sleeping with Megumin for multiple days. But besides that, he isn't against it. Not at all.

Atleast, he would be kind of against it- had he not known that Megumin (Who has a similar intelligence stat.) was also thinking the same thing.

In this situation, Megumin knows Kazuma uses underhanded methods and Kazuma knows that she knows it as well.

So, naturally, the two came to an agreement without even giving eachother a hint.

Megumin was behind the three so she was able to give Kazuma a thumbs up without alerting Aqua and Lalatina-sama (Who could've gotten a better hotel. But who cares?)

"I think we need two people in one room. Should we do the same layout as what happened in the tents? Aqua and Darkness have a seperate room, while Kazuma and me share a room."

Aqua probably wanted to object this solution, but couldn't come up with a proper argument.

Darkness was having a lot of thoughts with a blush on her face, spouting stuff out like.

"A boy and a girl alone… Heh"

It was, after a few insults from Aqua and Megumin backing Kazuma up, agreed upon that Megumin's strategy was the best option.

When they all parted ways to call it a day, Megumin and Kazuma went into the same room.

The fatigue from dying and getting healed finally got the better of Kazuma, he fell asleep basically instantly after laying down and pulling the blankets.

Megumin liked the position of being in his arms, it made her feel safe. As if Kazuma was protecting her.

So she snuggled into his arms quite easily with her small frame. By going under his arm and laying her side on it. Not wanting to put too much pressure on it, she placed his arm a little higher.

When Kazuma was comfortable, she moved her arm from under his neck to his back and the other one went under his arm, which is placed on top.

Effectively holding him for herself.

If she held her own hand she would have him in a death grip, but that's not needed.

She wanted him to feel comfort, she wanted the same for herself.

And she was, she did feel comfort, it's a bit nerve wracking sleeping with someone for the first time but she was happy. Happy this man accepted her, not only as a lover, but as a companion in his adventures.

Kazuma allowed Megumin to follow her dreams. He encouraged it when she wanted to give up. Even though he wanted her to stop for a long time beforehand.

'There is no Megumin without explosion magic.'?

Wrong. 'There is no Megumin nor explosion magic without Kazuma.'

That is why she is happy.

With her thoughts collected, she fell asleep.

The newly made couple's first night, was a very pleasant one.

Megumin woke up first, being less fatigued from the day before.

Kazuma probably rolled over to lay on his back.

She was still holding on to his arm when she woke up.

It was still pretty early in the morning, so Kazuma wouldn't wake up for a while.

She had nothing else to do, so she put on her clothes and went downstairs to buy some food the hotel makes.

This hotel is very high-end.

After a few minutes of waiting.

"If you want, you can eat in your room."

Megumin perked up.

"Oh, yes please."

She was still pretty drowsy, but she wouldn't let this chance escape her.

They put the food on a plate so Megumin can carry it back.

But something is missing.

"Can I have an extra order with this. So it's a 2-person breakfast?"

"Of course. I'll be right back."

After another few minutes, they came back with some more food, instead of a bit of soup and tea, some bread and tea.

"Thank you."

"Have fun!"

The waitress assumed something that was right.

Megumin blushed.

"T-thank you!"

And ran away.

When she closed the door, she took a few big breaths to calm down.

She wanted to eat with him, so she placed the plate on the bed and woke him up.

Megumin wanted to jumpscare Kazuma awake, but realized that she placed the plate on the bed.

So she started to shake his shoulder lightly.

"Kazuma, Kazuma!"

No reaction.

Faster!

"Kazumaaaa."

Now he is showing signs of living.

"Hey, hey, Kazuma…"

His eyes finally opened.

"Kazuma-desu."

He was still very sleepy.

His eyes were barely open, but he still sat up.

"Goodmorning, Kazuma."

"Huh?"

His consciousness finally came back to him.

"What happened again?"

"Baka."

Megumin slapped him lightly.

"I was joking!"

"You shouldn't do it like that!"

Megumin stood up to pick up the plate and sit down next to him.

Kazuma sat up straight as well.

"You got breakfast for me?"

"Well, I wanted to order something for you and wait, but they offered me to take it back. So I took it with me."

"Oh, thank you."

The two started eating what was on 'the table'

While they were eating, Megumin decided to ask out of the blue.

"What should we do about our relationship, Kazuma?"

Kazuma almost spit out the tea that was in his mouth.

"Why are you asking that all of a sudden?"

Megumin pointed a finger up.

"I had enough courage to confront you now, so I did it before I lost it."

"Fair enough."

Kazuma sighed.

"Well, I really don't know. I've never really been through this before."

The biggest problem was Darkness and Aqua.

Darkness would be hard but is able to be controlled.

Aqua on the other hand, is unpredictable.

"We've already confessed to each other, so why not make it official?"

Kazuma would be willing to take on the challenge.

"Alright! Why don't we!"

Megumin jumped on Kazuma and gave him a hug.

Kazuma was just able to hold the plate still and move it somewhere safe.

Megumin's food, on the other hand, was on the bed and floor.

Luckily it was bread so there's not that much of a mess.

Anyway, Megumin was on top of him now, arms around his neck.

Kazuma was still in shock with what Megumin did out of nowhere.

She held him for a few seconds.

He doesn't understand what Megumin was trying yet.

She was really quick on the uptake as well, it caught Kazuma at his weakest.

Megumin finally tilted her head to look Kazuma straight in the eyes.

Kazuma noticed that Megumin's eyes are flaring almost the brightest he has ever seen. When casting explosion, it was bright but not a lot in comparison.

With their faces aligned, one of the two could make a singular move to initiate it.

But Megumin showed no signs of holding back.

Her face drew closer and closer. Both of their heart rates increasing every instant..

Until, finally. The long awaited moment happened.

Their lips have made contact.

Kazuma felt the smoothness of her lips for the first time. He wanted more of it, he wanted it to last longer.

The same for Megumin, for some reason, it felt natural to her.

They won't part for anything less than the need for air.

So, after another 10 seconds of silence, they finally let go of each other.

Both are gasping for air.

"How was that?"

Megumin was trying to hide her deep crimson red cheeks with a smug smile, but is unable to.

"That was good, one more time."

Purely driven by his desires, he wanted more.

Same goes for Megumin. Although, she does have more self-control in this situation.

"Okay!"

Without hesitation this time, Megumin moved her head to align with his again.

They connected again. This time with the addition of Megumin's tongue wanting more.

Kazuma is being controlled by Megumin at this point.

Having parted again, this time Megumin let go off him.

"I haven't actually slept well, it was kind of nerve-wracking you know? Not sure where our relationship is and how it's going to end up."

Megumin gave him a beautiful smile.

"I'm happy with how it went."

Megumin saying that and giving him that smile sent his common sense to another place. His feelings were also brought forth.

"Me too."

Kazuma really doesn't know what to say at this point.

Neither does the writer… Actually, that's a lie.

"So, do you want to sleep or confront Darkness and Aqua?"

"I'd rather take a nap with you right now."

He actually said it!

They completely gave up on eating their meals and slept in the same position they did before.
