Riley walked into the gym and looked around. "What the heck is this?" She asked as the room had nothing but a pole in the floor.
A man sat near and he turned towards her. "Welcome challenger!" He cried as he ran up to Riley. "Are you looking for the gym?" He asked.
"Yeah! Where is it?" She asked as he gestured towards the pole in the middle of the room. She walked to it and realized there was a hole in the middle. "Oh…" She said before she wrapped her body around the pole and slid down.
Riley was surrounded by darkness as she slid. "This is weird…" She said before she noticed white below her.
"What is that?!" Riley cried before more came into her sights. Trainers galore and a giant spider web.
She got to the end of the pole before she lost her grip and fell and bounced up slightly on the web. "Well, that was… something." She said before picking herself up. She noticed the webbing was very thick and it would take something truly heavy to snap it.
"Well back when I was a kid that cartoon did say spiderwebs were as strong as steel…" Riley thought before she walked along the spider web towards a kid.
"Hey!" He cried before racing up to her. "Welcome challenger! I'm your first opponent!" He said. Riley smirked before bringing out Akira's Pokeball.
Battle start!
"Let's go!" They cried before throwing out their Pokeballs on the platform he was standing on. The pokemon he sent out was a new one to her. "What the heck is that?" She asked aloud.
"You'll find out! Spewpa use tackle!" He cried before the bug rushed at her. "Akira dodged and follow up with a quick attack!" Riley commanded.
Akira flew up to dodge the Tackle before rushing around and slamming into the Spewpa and sending it sprawling.
"Now Peck!" Riley cried as Akira's beak glowed light blue before she slammed it into the bug type.
Spewpa rolled over with swirls in its eyes as the boy gasped. "Oh, man!" He cried as he looked down. He returned his pokemon before walking over to Riley.
"That was amazing, Akira! Good girl!" Riley said, petting the bird who puffed out her chest with pride.
Riley returned Akira before she saw the Youngster. "Your win." He said as he gave her the prize money. "But don't get cocky! The next trainer is even stronger!" He cried.
Riley nodded. "Thank you! Don't worry. I got this!" She said and the boy nodded back at her.
"Given how weak this guy was I don't think the next trainer will be that much stronger…" Riley thought before she walked along the web.
Once again a trainer stopped her right as she saw the gym leader sitting down. "No fair! How does she get to watch my battle?!" Riley thought.
"Alright trainer. I'm the final hurdle before Viola! Do you think you can handle it?!" She cried as Riley sighed. "I know I can handle it." She said and the girl was taken aback. "Oh yeah?!" She cried.
"For a video game world… these characters are pretty animated to my responses… is this even a video game world…" Riley thought.
Battle Start
Riley sent out Akira again and her opponent sent out… a Kakuna. "Oh, this will be easy!" Riley said. "Don't get cocky!" The lass said as she grit her teeth.
"Akira peck!" Riley called. Akira's beak once again changed colors before she dive-bombed the Kakuna. "Harden now!" The lass commanded.
Kakuna's body shone white as its shell was fortified. The peck smashed into it but the Kakuna held on.
"Not so weak now are we?" The lass said. "Now Poison sting!" She called.
"Weren't you the one who said don't get cocky?" Riley said and the Lass looked up. Riley smirked. "Akira… fly up." She said as Akira shot into the air and dodged Kakuna's bottom stinger.
"Dive down! Mix Quick Attack and Peck!" She cried as Viola perked up in her seat. Akira shot down with Quick Attack before transferring the energy into peck and smashed into the Kakuna.
"Might've been a little overkill but It got the job done," Riley said before she prepared to return Akira. "Alright time for my next pokemon!" The girl announced. "What?" Riley said, looking up.
"Go, Combee!" She cried and threw her Pokeball to unveil her next pokemon was a Combee. "Didn't expect more than one… well at least it's a familiar gen 4 mon." Riley thought before looking down at Akira.
"You ready for another round girl?" She asked and the bird puffed out her chest and stood proud as she turned to glare at her opponent who put on a mean face in return.
"Combee use gust!" The lass cried as Combee beat its wings and created a whirlwind that swirled around Akira and spun her around before throwing the flying type onto the platform.
"Akira!" Riley cried. The bird quickly twisted around and landed on her feet and winced before she glared at the Combee.
The lass smirked. "Come on, come on!" She goaded as Riley clenched her fist. "Akira fly up!" Riley called and the lass kept smirking. "End this! Quick Attack and Peck!" Riley cried as Akira rushed down.
"Use gust to dodge!" the lass cried. Combee then beat its wings and shot out of the direction of Akira's attack and she smashed directly into the platform.
"Crap!" Riley cried. "Are you okay Akira?" Riley asked as the bird struggled to get up.
"Thought that would work twice?" The lass asked with a smirk. "Darn it! Can't make mistakes like that." Riley thought. She turned to Viola who was much less interested in the battle as she was seemingly anticipating Riley's loss.
"Akira… rush it with Quick Attack!" Riley cried. Akira turned white before shooting at Combee and smashing into him.
The Combee was sent flying back. "Don't let it up! Use Peck!" Riley said as Akira rammed it with Peck and knocked Combee out.
"H-how?!" The lass cried. Viola was now interested as she looked with a warm smile. Riley breathed out as she looked at the lass who walked over to her and handed her the prize money. "Can't believe I figured out your prized strategy and still lost." She said with her hands behind her head.
"It was a pretty tough battle. I won't lie, I started to sweat back there haha." Riley said. "Well she's waiting for you." the lass said as Viola stood up and stretched.
Riley took a deep breath before she walked up. "Hey Viola." She said as she walked up.
"Greetings challenger… welcome to the Santalune City Gym," Viola said as Riley stared at her. "I might not be a big shot like my sis… but I still know a good photo when I see it. And the photo of your face after defeat will be one for the books!" Viola cried.
"Big talk for someone who lets her trainers weaken the challenger's pokemon and watches their strategies!" Riley shot back as Viola stood tall. "It's my own strategy! Can't defeat someone who can know your best moves!" she said.
Battle start
Riley sent out Akira as Viola threw out a blue bug. "Surskit huh? Haven't seen one of those since ORAS." Riley said as Viola looked confused. "What's "ORAS"?" She asked as Riley jumped up. "Uh uh oh nothing!" She cried.
"Anyway… Surskit water sport!" Viola, called as Surskit shot water into the hair that formed into a ball. "The heck is that?" Riley asked as Viola smirked. "You'll see!" she said. "Now Quick Attack!" Viola cried.
"Meet it with your own Akira!" Riley said. Both pokemon gained a white aura around them before they darted at each other and met full force. Both pokemon were blown away by their attacks and sent flying
"Wow! Awesome! Your Fletchling took so much damage but it can still keep going!" Viola said. "Now Peck!" Riley cried. "Surskit bubble!" Viola cried.
Surskit sucked in a breath before firing bubbles at Akira who rushed directly into it and took some damage but continued her attack. "Man, that pokemon is so cool! Takes attacks and keeps pushing!" Viola said.
"But that might not be enough to save it," Viola spoke. Riley looked at her confused. Akira slammed into Surskit and sent it sprawling.
"Now follow up! Slam it with Quick Attack!" Riley cried and Akira rushed forward. "Meet the attack Surskit!" Viola cried and her own pokemon rushed. But unlike before Akira was sent flying away.
"Akira!" Riley cried. Akira barely was able to prevent herself from hitting the platform. "Stay on it like stink on a Stunky!" Viola cried and her pokemon started a barrage of Quick Attacks that knocked Akira around.
"Akira!" Riley screamed. "How is this possible?! Why was our attack weaker?!" Riley thought. "Wait… Bubble can lower the opponent's speed! She lowered our speed so the attack difference would increase!" Riley thought as she watched her Fletchling get battered.
"Now for the finisher!" Viola cried before Surskit went in for the kill. Riley watched as Akira was struggling. "Akira you can do it!" Riley screamed.
Akira's eyes shot open as she glared hard. "Fle-FLETCHLING!" She cried as her body started to move erratically and bob side to side before slamming into the Surskit that got near.
The attack was devastating and sent the Surskit into the nearest wall, feinting it.
"Wow…" Viola said as she looked at her fallen pokemon with wide eyes. "Nice job Akira you did it!" Riley cheered as she petted her pokemon. She then returned Akira to her Pokeball before standing. "Take a nice long rest. You deserve it." Riley said.
"Gotta say that was impressive. Your pokemon learned an entirely new move just to make sure you could win." Viola said after returning Surskit.
"Yeah well, it's only because we struggled so much against you! That Bubble to lower her speed then using that Quick Attack barrage was genius!" Riley complimented.
"Now Go Vivillon!" Viola cried, sending out her ace pokemon. A large butterfly appeared and looked down at Riley. "Woah! Looks like Butterfree." She said.
"Counting on you Kazikuno!" Riley called. Her Froakie jumped out of the ball and looked up at his opponent. "Fro." He said as he stood up on his legs. "Looks like you're ready to go! Now use Water Pulse!" Riley called.
Kazikuno summoned a ball of water in his hands before firing it at the Vivillon. "Dodge and use Tackle!" Viola called.
Vivillon barely dodged the water ball before rushing at Kazikuno. "Kazikuno! Use bubble!" Riley cried.
Kazikuno breathed in before firing a torrent of bubbles at Vivillon who took the attack head-on before smashing the Froakie. "What?" Riley cried as Viola smirked. "Thought you could use my strategy?" she asked.
Riley grit her teeth and backed up. "You know that bubble's speed decrease doesn't always work!" Viola said as Riley gasped. "Crap she's right!" Riley thought.
"Now Vivillon use infestation!" Viola said and Vivillon's eyes glowed yellow before it smashed into the ground and something rushed at Kazikuno.
"Kazikuno dodge it!" Riley cried but Kazikuno couldn't dodge in time and he was caught in the infestation.
It wrapped around his body and drained him of his energy. "Froakie!" He cried out as he was squeezed.
"No!" Riley cried. "Now Vivillon! Smash it with a tackle!" Viola said and her ace rammed Kazikuno once, then twice, then a third time, and soon enough it was another barrage.
"Kazikuno!" Riley said. "How can I get him out of that… I got it!" Riley thought. "Kazi use lick!" Riley said, using an on-the-fly nickname to say it faster.
Kazikuno shone purple before he shot out his tongue and licked the Vivillon causing it to fly off course and hit the platform.
Kazikun was then freed from the infestation and he looked at his hands before looking determinedly at the fallen insect.
"Managed to get out of another one of my barrages huh?" Viola asked with a smirk. "Looks like I did. Didn't get as lucky this time!" Riley said bak.
"Good thing we got more in the tank then!" Viola cried as Vivillon got back up and flew into the air.
"Now dive bomb with Tackle!" Viola cried and Vivillon raced at Kazikuno. "Not gonna work! Kazi? Use Quick Attack!" Riley said and Kazikuno shone white before he darted off and dodged the attack. He then swirled around and shot at Vivillon. "Vivillon Harden now!" Viola cried.
Vivillon glowed white and it became more armored and took Kazikuno's attack. "Now smash it back with Tackle!" Viola said and Vivillon smashed into Kazikuno and sent him flying.
"Follow up!" Viola said and her pokemon knew exactly what to do and smashed into Kazikuno once again.
Kazikuno was dazed as he fell on his back. "Now infestation!" Viola called out and her pokemon once again hit the ground and an infestation rushed at Kazikuno.
"No, if he gets hit by that…'' Riley thought. "Kazi jump!" She called as her starter got out of his daze and jumped out of the way.
"Alright, Kazi! You ready?!" She asked as her Pokemon nodded and smirked. "We got this!" She cried and Kazikuno let out a battle roar.
Just at that moment, Kazikuno started to glow blue and his form began to shift. "No way… that can't be happening…" Viola said as Kazikuno's glow disappeared and an entire new pokemon stood there.
"Woah… Kazi… you evolved!" Riley said as her pokemon turned and gave a thumbs up. "Alright let's see what you got! Use Quick Attack and get behind!" Riley shouted. Kazikuno then promptly turned into a blur and was behind Vivillon in seconds.
"H-how?!" Viola shouted. "Now Water Pulse!" Riley cried.
Kazikuno then readied a large ball of water in his hands before slamming it into Vivillon, sending it into the platform before exploding.
Kazikuno jumped back as Vivillon was fainted on the platform.
Viola sighed as she returned her pokemon. "Nice job challenger! You've won!" Viola said.
"We.. won... WE WON!" Riley cried as she hugged her Pokemon. "We did it, we did it, we really did it!" She cheered.
She returned Kazikuno as Viola walked up to her. She presented a badge and Riley took it before holding it up. "That's proof you've beaten me. That's the Bug badge!" Viola said.
"Thank you!" Riley said as Viola shook her head. "No need for a thank you. You've earned this." She said and Riley nodded.
Riley prepared to walk the way she came before Viola grabbed her arm. "Did you think you could climb all the way back up? There are stairs behind me!" Viola laughed and Riley blushed before walking up.
Riley walked up the stairs and arrived back at the entrance through a giant photograph of all things.
She walked outside before taking a deep breath. "That was more difficult than I thought it would be. Guess IRL battling is far harder than battling in a video game…" Riley said aloud before she started walking. "Better get my mons healed up," Riley said as she started walking.
As she walked to the Pokemon Center she was unaware of the eyes watching her.

Crash: Not exactly. The plot will be mostly the same with a few developments to fix how mid the story was lmao.
interesting , she might not have played that game specifically, but he seems to have played other games, so she know how thing goes, for example when we saw Lysandre we all immidialtely knew he was going to be the evil team leader it will be interesting as she has a general knowledge of the franchise, (sorry if i understood wrong and she hasn't),

what about mega evolution, the number of pokèmon capable of mega evolving is the same as xy (mega latios and mega latias were leaked in xy, were were reveled later in oras, but they (mega latios and mega latias) are codedin xy not only in oras) or is raised to the Oras Number?
Crash: Yes it is raised to ORAS. even if it wasn't during XY it still counts in the lore.
what about the moveset is the moves of xy or is changed so that include moves that some pokèmon are able to learn later?, ex delphox in oras can learn Dazzling gleam in oras with T.M, but can learn the same move with the same T.M 99 in Xy
