After his hard-fought 2nd place in the Kalos League, Ash returns home only to be framed for the deaths of 3 of his loved ones. With the convincing evidence against him, everyone turns on Ash forcing him to flee. With the main regions all on the hunt for him, Ash heads to the Orre region under the name Rorschach to start a new life.
