My word. Texas has certainly been a special kind of Hell this week. We were not prepared for snow on this level and terrible handling of the power grid left us with little to no electricity. Plus a pipe burst in our apartment so water was everywhere for a day, yaaaaaay. We're definitely one of the more fortunate ones though, which I'm grateful for, and hopefully everyone without power for several days and busted pipes can be compensated and begin to recover. With our current state government though... it's not looking great.

I won't bog this down with a ton of stuff, just nice and simple, I appreciate critiques and tips (not hate and needless "this sucks" kind of comments, all you have to do is stop reading, don't be an ass) on ANY of my stories, though be prepared for me to debate back and explain my ideas. I mean no offense, I simply have a habit of making sure people understand my point, as I am usually ignored in favor of what someone else wants. At the end of the day my stories are my work, if my style disagrees with you, it is very easy to simply move on, though if you think there is room for improvement, politely feel free to shoot me a message. I seek civil and constructive conversation, not demands.

Aside from that pet peeve (no one likes being told how to do their hobby and/or job, though it's just hobby for me) I hope people are able to enjoy my stories to some extent. I may be a slow writer, but I only write what I have a passion for, and that takes time, which sometimes means I may forget or lose motivation, so I do apologize for any stories left on hold for several years. It's just not as great of a story if I have to shove my hand through a grinder to do it. Remember, this is a hobby, I am under no obligation to finish if my heart is not in it. I won't be making money off these, so if you're expecting the next Lord of the Rings... you probably shouldn't be on this website.

I am the girl that doesn't spend all her time on MySpace, or talking to a girlfriend on a cellphone or regular phone. I am the girl that hasn't been asked out in a year. I am the girl that has stopped to smell the flowers and jump and splash in the rain.

But I am also the girl who knows and is proud to be who she is, doesn't care if people call her weird (it's a compliment), who loves reading and writing and doing the things that no one seems to have the time to do any more, who loves and is obsessed with nerdy things that only she would like, who can express herself better with writing than talking, and knows the importance of the little things in life that most overlook!
