It had taken awhile for the dynamic traveling duo to reach Pallet town, but in no time did Ash and Kari make it home where Ash's mother was tending the garden with Mimey, her trustworthy Mr. Mime. Delia was surprised to see her son later than he promised and scolded him for his tardiness and asked him what happened. Ash explained to her that he lost track of time while he was reminiscing around Route 1 when it came to the first day of his journey (choosing to omit the details of Kari eating him later that night and changing him into a pikachu like her where she then proclaimed her love for said trainer).

Ash and Kari soon retreated to his room to take a load off and, in Ash's case, change into a fresh set of clothes (who would like to wear saliva soaked clothing all day anyway?). Laying down on his bed with one hand behind his head and the other one gentle stroking Kari's head while she rested on top of him, the trainer contemplated his current scenario on what to do next. Looking at his secret girlfriend's resting form, he couldn't help but smile tenderly at her, after all being turned into a pikachu again because of her really change his perspective on his best friend where she just looked so precious to him.

"It's still pretty surreal, you know?" said Ash, causing Kari to perk her cute little head up, ears standing up only to droop slightly as she tilted her head in confusion. "I still would never imagine myself having a girlfriend at this point in time, let alone that girlfriend being my very first pokemon, if anything I would have expected, well I don't know... maybe Misty to be my girlfriend, I guess." continued Ash. All Kari did was listen before she smirked cheekily and spoke where only her dopey trainer could understand her and said "Really, Misty huh? As your initial girlfriend? Well I wouldn't really object to that idea."

Ash took a moment before he freaked out at the idea, "Whoa, whoa, don't go there Kari, I was just setting an example. I didn't actually mean that I wanted Misty to be my girlfriend, let alone my first. She may be one of my best human friends but that's it!" Kari smirk didn't falter, in contrast it only grew a little, "I may not be an expert on human courtship like Meowth claims to be, but the way you and Misty argue almost everyday for the past couple of years, the two of you might as well have been an old married couple". "You know speaking of Misty, why do you get along so well with her anyway?" asked Ash who could now finally understand the mysterious friendship between the two females of his former traveling group. Kari had a look of deep consideration on her face before saying, "Well to be honest, I always viewed Misty as a somewhat sister-like figure to me, a female that I could put my trust in whenever your briefly away. And don't get me started on Brock, he may have been a loyal good friend and an excellent cook, but he was a womanizing goofball!"

"I guess that make sense now that I think about it, especially when you refused to help me battle against her for her gym badge." said Ash thinking back while chuckling at the "goofball" comment. After a little while of rest, he decided to empty his backpack of all the items he collected in the Johto region. While sorting through the items he came across an empty vial with a cork on top. It took a while to remember where it came from, when out of the blue it hit him, "Hey, isn't this the vial that Lily, the pokemon witch, gave me? I could have sworn there was a potion in here though". Kari looked at the empty vial for a good few moments before recollection reared its head and all she did was mutter "uh oh". Unfortunately of all the times for Ash to be attentive, it had to be that moment because he looked at his partner for clarification on her supposed wrongdoing.

Knowing that Ash heard her slip up and was looking at her like she got caught with her paw in the cookie jar, Kari nervously shifted her feet trying to come up with an explanation. After a bit she tried the best to explain herself, "I think I may have drank it all." she caved. Ash looked at her shocked, "What, why would you do something like that? You could have hurt yourself or worse!" he said. "I was still half asleep when I got really thirsty and it was dark so I couldn't tell what it was late at night, only that it tasted like really weird lemonade, I'm sorry Ash." she confessed ashamed. Ash's eyes softened at her pleading form, knowing that it was an honest mistake. In truth, if she tried to wake him up in the middle of the night to get a drink, he would just brush her off and would get sore with her if she tried to zap him awake for said reason.

"Alright, I forgive you, but you got to tell me these kind of things, half sleep or not. I mean this is the same stuff that turned me... into a... a pikachu." said Ash as his thought process went into overdrive with the realization of what was in the vial. Kari's own ears perked up as the two looked at the empty vial, minds calculating the outcome of what happened earlier that morning. "You don't think" Ash started, "It must be." continued Kari, "The reason you ate me," "The reason you became a pikachu," "Must be because of the potion!" they said at the same time, coming to the exact same conclusion to their mystery.

"Well that solves that mystery, an even bigger one is why do weird things like this happen to us? I mean what are the chances?" Ash asked in exasperation. "I say chances like this are like a million in one," answered Kari before climbing up her human boyfriend's shoulder and giving him an affectionate nuzzle before she continued slyly "Although, knowing you, those chances can easily rise rapidly". Afterwards the two finished up putting away the items and then figured that they had the rest of the day to themselves.

"Say..." Ash began, "If I was able to become human again just by thinking about it, is it possible to become a pikachu again just as well?". Kari thought for a bit, reminiscing about how her pikapi had changed back into his human self and finally said, "It's certainly worth a try". With that notion, Ash collected himself thinking about what it was like to be a pikachu from the wind breezing through his fur to the static energy he had welling up inside, from the wag of his tail to the twitch of his nose and ears. Soon enough, Ash was consumed in a near blinding light where his form then began to shrink with his ear elongating and a zigzag shaped tail growing from his tailbone. In a matter of moments while buried in clothes that are now too large for him, Ash had once again become a pikachu. Barely containing herself as Ash freed himself from his human clothes, Kari tackled him with a delighted squeal all while rubbing her electric sack cheek against his own. The sudden jolt of static that jumped from each of their cheeks to the other caused a delightful if not euphoric tingling sensation within both pikachu, as such was a way where electric type rodent would use this method to determine friends or mates.

A few minutes of cuddling in a blissful state, Ash and Kari separated to regain their bearings (unknowingly to themselves, agree that they are slightly too young to do anything too passionate). "So it is based on will, man this is so cool!" Ash said with excitement in his voice. "Oh Ash, this is wonderful. Think about all the fun we can have when we're not busy training." said Kari with an equal amount of excitement in her voice before giving her human boyfriend a puppy kiss on the cheek.

Unknown to Ash who took the kiss in stride with a giggle, it was a mistake for Kari namely due to the fact that her boyfriend's taste just amplified in his pikachu form to a point where it was an absolute delicacy. Thankfully Kari still had some form of self control but was worried that her appetite for Ash might soon grow out of control like it did last night. Sooner or later Ash will catch on and the thought of her hurting him or him breaking up with her would be too much for Kari to bare. In the spur of the moment Kari felt that it would be best to come clean with her concerns and pray to Arceus that Ash would understand.

Taking a deep breath to steel her nerves, Kari began "Hey Ash, can I tell you something?" Ash looked back at her, "What is it, buddy?" he asked. "I don't want you to freak out about this but I noticed this a while ago and in your pikachu form it's even more potent." Kari responded with concern. "What do you mean, what's more potent?" asked Ash. "It's just that... that... that you taste just as delicious as before!" Kari practically shouted out. Ash finally understanding why his partner was so frazzled and the memory of of she had first devoured him the night prior was also fresh in his mind had began to unnerve him as well. "So wait, you still think I'm tasty and want to eat me again?" Ash asked in near panic. Kari could only nod her head solemnly in shame. "Kari, as much as I trust you as my first girlfriend, I'm not so inclined to get eaten again. I mean what if what happened to me last time was a fluke and I might not survive the next time?" Ash said steeling his nerves and patting Kari on the shoulder. Kari looked him in the eye and said "You think I don't know that!? It's evident that the potion is still lingering in my system and is making me think this way. I'm scared Ash, both over losing control of myself and more importantly... you. In more ways than one."

Ash looked at Kari in shock knowing that her condition would affect her negatively just as much as it would him. With his ears drooped, Ash tried thinking of a way to solve his girlfriend's condition before it got out of hand and at that point he could only think of the one thing that he might not live to regret. Steeling his nerves, Ash turned toward his very first Pokémon and said "Kari, I want you to eat me." Kari almost couldn't believe her ears at what her beloved had just told her. "Ash, no! I could never-" she began only to be interrupted when Ash countered "If we just ignore the issue for now, it's only going to get worse later on. I think it's for the best that we tackle the problem head on. You may be my first girlfriend but if I've learned anything about relationships is that it's all built on trust." Ash looked deeply into Kari's eyes as he continued "I'm trusting you above all our other friends with my safety, so please, I don't want you to suffer for my sake. Besides, we overcame death defying situations before and came out on top, right?" he finished with a wink which caused Kari to relent with a giggle.

Kari then made her way over to Ash and put both her paws on his shoulders just as he did the exact same thing. Kari looked deep into Ash's eye to see if there was any hesitation which there was but for her sake he willed himself enough to swallow most of his uncertainty just as he just about to take the plunge. "Alright, let's get this over with. Make a meal outta me!" Ash pronounced as he braced for his unusual fate. Kari slightly shivering in anticipation licked his cheek tenderly before she said "I promise to make this as comfortable as I possibly can. Besides, with the you are right now, I want to know how you taste." With that said, Kari launched herself at Ash and pressed her lips against his in a fierce kiss which lasted about a moment before her lips parted wide enough where Kari's mouth completely envelop her pikafied trainer's head.

Kari started to pull more of Ash's body into her mouth to the point where his head hit the back of her throat that she began to swallow. With each tremendous gulp Ash's pikachu form disappeared into his girlfriend's body which started to swell. For Ash's part, the feeling of being swallowed alive by someone his size was rather weird but strangely comforting as each gulp caused the esophagus muscles to massage him on the way down. For Kari the feeling was similar if not more-so given that she was in a state of complete ecstasy with each gulp of her beloved, she even traced the bulge traveling down her neck with a paw. Soon enough Ash's head hit a small sphincter which then opened to admit him into a larger space; Kari's stomach. As his body began to curl up, his tail was still outside until Kari's slurped it up like a weird shaped noodle and with one last gulp, sealing her boyfriend entirely within herself.

Due to being untrained to handle a large weight, Kari was forced to sit down with her basketball sized belly in front of her all while panting from the incredible feat. "Ash, are you okay in there?" Kari asked after finally catching her breath. Ash for his part was extremely conflicted as to what to feel about his current predicament, with half of him wanting to freak out and struggle within his fleshy prison and the other half just wanted to keep calm, sit still waiting to see if something really would happen. "I'm okay for now buddy." came Ash's reply from within. Kari breathed a sigh of relief, "Okay that's good. If anything happens let me know right away so I can get you back out. You taste heavenly by the way!" she proclaimed while beaming lovingly at her large belly. After spending a bit inside his starter's tummy and her gentle caressing calmed Ash's nerves down considerably even noticing that the stomach acids were somehow harmlessly sliding off his fur and skin without any sign of damage to the bottom of the fleshy organ.

"You know, it's a good thing that mom went out grocery shopping with Mimey and won't be back home for a while, because in spite of myself I think I'm starting to get comfortable in here." confessed Ash. He snuggled himself more comfortably within Kari's belly and actually took the time to listen to her body's inner workings from her breathing to the rhythmic beat of her heart. Kari for her part was ecstatic at hearing this, purring in pleasure as she nuzzled her belly where Ash's head would be located which slightly tickled. "Oh Ash, you feel so amazing inside me. I'm glad to know that you're growing more comfortable with this as I am." Kari said. With that said, the two unique love birds decided to take a short nap which lasted an hour. By the the time Kari woke up, she noticed that Ash's mom could be home soon so she shook her belly in order to wake her not-so-light sleeper of a trainer which took about ten minutes. After finally coaxing Ash from his peaceful nap and reaffirming that the stomach acids had no effect on him, Kari spend a good five minutes heaving him from her stomach. Ash, finally out of of the internal embrace of his pikachu girlfriend, noted that he really needed a shower before mom came home, but before he could leave Kari whispered into his ear "You know, you tasted just as good coming out as you did going in."

Slightly disturbed by his girlfriend's choice of words, Ash made his way to the bathroom to shower with Kari following right behind. Ash asked what Kari was doing where she suggested that they should shower together. Ash, deciding to be modest, was about say no for a good reason when Kari interjected that they bathe together all the time when they were traveling and that her newfound gender discovery shouldn't come in between that. Slumping concededly, Ash gave in with Kari suggesting that he remains in pikachu form while promising not to try anything funny while discretely crossing her fingers. The two entered the tub and for Ash it was a unique experience feeling his fur getting soaked as the water rinsed off the stomach juices. The two pikachu took the upmost pleasure in washing each other although Ash could have sworn that Kari was slightly grinding herself against him a couple of times but thought nothing more of it even if his groin area was feeling slightly warmer than normal. Kari then decided to be playful and thought it would be fun to have a slight wrestling match in the shower, which she and Ash both giggled and squealed with mirth and glee as they rolled in the tub. They enjoyed themselves further by grabbing "weapons" like soap and shampoo to try and out do the other in terms of cleaning which resulted in the two of them being cover from head to toe in bubbly suds. After a nice rinse to cleanse themselves of any remaining suds, Ash turned off the shower and grabbed a towel for each of them to dry off with which only resulted in a fit of laugher after seeing how puffy they became. "You know, being a pikachu from time to time is really awesome, heck even the idea of being swallowed by you isn't so bad anymore!" Ash exclaimed with excitement. "I'm glad to hear you say that, because I know that whenever we have some private moments to ourselves, be expected to check in to my tummy again." Kari responded with a sultry voice and eyes half closed before giggling.

Finally, Ash decided it was time change back into a human, so concentrating he soon became human again and got dressed into his night wares while inwardly danced in excitement at the idea of his future adventures with his pikachu girlfriend. A few minutes later Ash's mom returned from the store and started making dinner, well aware of her rambunctious son's infamous appetite, if only she knew about a certain Pokémon's recently discovered tastes. Soon it was time for bed and everyone went upstairs to their respective bedrooms. Ash lifted the covers for the couple to climb into bed, laying down next his little girlfriend while replacing the covers.

"Good night, Kari." Ash said sincerely while drifting off to sleep. "Good night, Ash." Kari responded and attempted to do the same thing only, for some reason, she couldn't. There was so much on her mind that couldn't even fall asleep. One thought in particular was that the two are much closer now with Ash turning into a pikachu at any given time, but what were to happen if a random trainer found and used a pokéball to catch him and Kari would never see her boyfriend again. This thought haunted the pikachu out of bed, mulling over the idea of being separated in such a traumatic fashion. Another thought that came to mind was what would it be like if she had the ability to transform too. It would definitely be much safer in the wild, not to mention fun to trip up Team Rocket like that ever now and then.

The more Kari thought about it, the more curious she became. Would she be pretty as Misty or some of the other women that Brock would go gaga over, would she be considered average? To be able reach for things in a high place without jumping, to feel what it's like to were those clothes to cover up one's dignity and most importantly to shield Ash from such a grim fate that would no doubt try to tear them apart, that's all that was on the pikachu's mind about what it would be like to be human. Unknown to Kari, the young pikachu started glowing and soon enough she was encompassed in a bright not to dissimilar from evolving only instead of becoming a raichu, her arms and legs grew even longer her tail and ears shrank down to being unnoticeable.

After the light show, Kari opened her eyes and immediately noticed how much everything looked smaller, as if everything around her had shrunk. Her ears perked, but not in the usual way they do and she also couldn't feel her tail move, as if it was never there. She went to paw at her ears but then noticed her arms, they were pale pink and lacked the usual yellow fur not to mention they were extremely long, to her at least. Noticing a mirror on top of the dresser, Kari made her way over and was completely shocked at what was in the reflection.

Instead of a freakishly tall pikachu, Kari saw a naked girl with a slight athletic build with c cup breasts, straight bob blonde hair with slightly longer bangs tipped black to emulate her former pikachu ears on top of her head and a cute face adorned with pink lips, slightly rosy red cheeks and beautiful chocolate brown eyes. Kari was speechless at her unexpected transformation which helped considering everyone in the house was asleep. She was at a loss as to how something like this could happen but then thought that maybe what happened to Ash might have affected her as well. Soon Kari went from concerned to overjoyed as now she could spend time with her trainer/boyfriend in ways that could finally benefit the both of them. Silently she crept over to the bed where Ash laid asleep, she gently brushed away some of his unkept hair and gingerly kissed his forehead. Afterward she concentrated on being a pikachu and after another light show that thankfully didn't wake anyone up, she was back to her cute, cuddly self again. She leapt up onto the bed and snuggled against Ash under the crook of his neck and joined her beloved in dreamland.

The next morning after everyone has had breakfast, Delia mentioned to Ash that Gary was supposed to return to Pallet Town today in order to study with his grandfather, Prof. Oak. Upon hearing this, Ash races out the door with Kari in tow and reaches Prof. Oak's lab. Prof. Oak answers the door and is astonished to see. Ash and his starter Pokémon there asking if Gary was there only to be told that Gary had already left. Disappointed in hearing his former rival had already left, Ash asked where he went only for his former travel companion, Tracy, to say that Gary had found a new goal. Oak explained that all but Blastoise were left behind to study and Ash, being ever persistent, wanted to know where Gary had went only for said young man to show up and announce his retirement as a would-be Pokémon master and instead wanted to follow in his grandfather's footsteps as a Pokémon researcher. Ash, glad to see his former rival, told Gary what he needed before handing over Gary's half of the split pokéball before saying the it was Gary who deserved it. After a bunch of heartfelt thanks towards each other, the two formers rivals set off in different ways.

On the way home, Ash and Kari hang out with each other outside and suddenly, Kari notices something before she points up shouting "Look up there!" in surprise. Ash looks up, and gasps… it's Ho-oh, flying towards the direction of the Hoenn region. Then Ash remembers that that's where he's headed too, to face lots of new Pokemon, and new battles. Delia seems to be surprised that he's leaving, and says that she wants to talk to him first. Ash and Kari then starts heading back home and both fall into a trap hole! He looks up, and to his "surprise"and annoyance he finds Team Rocket again. Ash gets angry while trying to keep his secret in check and says that he just parted with Misty and Brock, and that it would be nice to part with them. However, the trouble making trio ignore him while taunting him by reminding him that his friends weren't be around to help, and James use Weezing to give him a Smoke Screen, blocking his view of the top. Kari starts to be in pain from the smoke inhalation… but quick thinking Ash remembers his separation gifts. He quickly gives Misty's handkerchief to Kari, and stuffs it in her mouth so she won't breath the stuff, and then he uses Brock's utensils to dig into the rock, and climb out of the hole where he confronts Team Rocket, informing them that his friends will always be with him. He orders Kari to hit them with Thunderbolt, blasting them off once again.

Back home, Ash tells Professor Oak and Tracey that he has decided to do what Gary did and leave all of his Pokémon besides Kari at the lab. Professor Oak guesses that Ash is heading to Hoenn, and Ash tells him that he plans to meet Prof. Birch in Littleroot Town. Then, Delia arrives with a new set of and a new backpack for her son, having guessed that he would be leaving soon. She also had his ticket for the ferry that departed from Seafoam Islands to Hoenn. Professor Oak also gives Ash a brand new Pokédex that contains all of the information on the Pokémon that reside there. In addition, Tracey tells Ash that he will take care of his Pokémon while he is away. With a renewed sense of determination, Ash and Kari both set off towards their new adventure.

AN: I'm so sorry that this chapter took so long to get to you people. First off, I really appreciate those who like my story and stuck with to the end and I want to clarify things, you all probably know that I write stories on my free time and with how work is especially last year it did get pretty crazy. Now I'm not trying to use that as an excuse because another thing is I was working on a different story for another website in the background and it did take time to plan out. Lastly, over the years I had an epiphany that this story was indeed good but at the sane time it felt pretty "meh...", and I'm not trying to flame my own story it's just that over time after rereading some parts especially when working on the other stories, I felt that there was some things that were confusing even to me and the direction that it was going and the impact it was having wasn't where I wanted it to be. It kinda feels like rushed work that would be okay for a beginner, but now that I've written more I feel like I could have done better. At any rate I do have some plans of rewriting the story but not to much to change the plot, maybe have some fun with it because I can. Even if the ending isn't what you where looking for thank you all so much for sticking with this story and hopefully I'll get something out soon.
