Alright, this is temporary to test and see if anyone remembers me from so long ago.
It has been an unbelievable 10 whole years away from the FF franchise. Things happened during this time that is almost impossible to sum up, but I have managed to make the journey back to Fanfiction AND get back in touch with Reddragonx who was co-writing In Heart and Spirit. The seventh chapter is actually completed, but we are in a holding pattern before posting because RDX is in the process of moving and his computer and email is linked to our co-writing site. So, re-read the stories and get ready folks, because I promise that this sequel will blow some serious minds!
As I always leave:
PEACE!
(P.S: here's a teaser of the new chapter to show I ain't blowing smoke. This was copied and pasted from the chapter, which I must warn has 10 typed pages!)
"Hurry!" Spyro called to Cynder as the two beat their wings furiously to stay ahead of the flood he had created. Behind him were Cyril and Volteer, both frantically doing all they could to slow the approach of the water. Cyril would swoop in, blasting it with ice while Volteer went ahead and used his lightning breath to strike large trees, pushing them down with his weight in hopes to dam up the waters. Cynder looked back with worry to see the torrential floodwaters break through Cyril's ice breath and continue practically unscathed.
"Spyro!" she called out. "It's not working!"
"It's giving us time!" he replied back with his head still focused in his flying direction. "Those two can handle this. Focus on getting home!" Cynder nodded, pushing herself to fly line-abreast with her husband. The clouds above were darkened, showing signs of yet another powerful storm. "Whatever hit Avalar may be heading to hit us too," Spyro yelled out. "The river forks right at the Temple's property line. If the flood goes to the right, it would put it right in the path of that coyote village, but if it goes to the left…"
It would hit the swamplands," Cynder cut him off. "That's our plan then. We need to make some type of barrier to dam up the right side completely and force the water in one direction. Any idea how we do that?" Spyro shook his head.
"It's risky," he replied, but Terrador and I may possibly raise up the earth into a wall to guide the water around."
"Risky?"
And that is all you get for those that remember. To those that have been waiting so long, I apologize for having to wait longer, but hopefully it will end up worth the wait.
PEACE!
