My Hero Academia: The Coming Storm

Chapter 1: A Different Kind of Hero

"Attention Passengers, we have now reached our cruising altitude. You are free to move about the cabin."

Leon Silva listened to the announcement the pilot said before he let out a sigh. He had already been on the plane for about 10 hours, and it was going to be longer until he landed in Mustafu. His brother and sisters had told him that the flight from Calgary to Mustafu was going to be long and it may not be the most comfortable ride, but it was the easiest way for him to get to the Land of the Rising Sun, so he knew he was going to have to suck it up. Luckily, he had his music that he was listening to along with his sketch pad. Leon was a handsome young man that stood at around 6'2 with a lean, muscular body honed from his years of doing martial arts weighing in at just around 205 lbs. He had dark, caramel brown skin with short, crew cut hair that was a unique mix of dark mahogany and black that seemed to just naturally work with his skin tone. His eyes were an interesting shade of gold that seemed to shine brightly when the light hit them right.

He was dressed in pair of black jeans with dark brown boots, a long-sleeved red shirt, and a black, hooded denim vest over it all. He wore a black and silver cross necklace around his neck along with a unique looking necklace that appeared to be a spear surrounded by a star studded night sky. That necklace was hand carved from ivory and was something of a family heirloom of his. The cross was a gift from his grandmother. Around his right wrist was a beaded bracelet that was a combination of black lava stones and green/blue jade. A memento of his father and grandfather.

Leon was someone who knew from a very young age that he wanted to be a hero, having grown up seeing what both of his parents did to help people instilled in him the desire to be a strong hero. His mother Valerie was one of the most popular pro heroes back in Canada who went by the name of Titania, the Shining Sky Hero and currently stood as the countries Number 5 Hero. His mother was a wonderful woman both in and out of her Hero costume, she and Leon's father had been able to raise four children together all of whom were involved in the Hero Business in some way and doing well for themselves.

Leon was the youngest child and now he was heading to Japan so he could take the entrance exam for UA, the most prestigious Hero School in the whole world. He could have gone to the Northern Heroics Academy in Ottawa, but his mother had been a graduate of UA and he grew up hearing about all the different journeys and heroes that she met there, and it inspired him to experience the same. His whole family supported his decision, but it was still a bittersweet moment when he had to leave his family to go to a new country, but this was necessary if he wanted to be a hero.

The hardest part was saying goodbye to his father. Leon's father was, interesting, to say the least, he wasn't a Hero, but he did have an incredible Quirk that he used to help society in a different way. Leon's father Robert was a former vigilante, he traveled around the world taking out the worst of the worst that the world had to offer so he could bring a bit more peace to the world while his brother and Leon's uncle assisted him with his connections in the military. It was an interesting partnership but the two looked after each other their whole lives, it was one of the reasons why Leon respected his father and uncle so much. Even if some of the things that they did in their past were pretty shady.

After he met Leon's mother his entire life changed, he left the vigilante life behind and became a factory worker to provide for the family but the life he once had caught up with him and he surrendered himself peacefully. Robert was now in jail serving a very long sentence due to the laws against vigilantism being pretty strict, but it was minimum security since he probably helped more people than he hurt. But his sentence was longer which was something that he couldn't get passed. But this still allowed Leon, his mother, and his siblings to visit him at times.

Leon wasn't ashamed of his father; he knew that he had done some unsavory things in the past but the work he did brought peace and joy to many countries and people who were living in fear. Leon knew that he couldn't kill, that was a part of his blood that he didn't accept, and his father was all for it. He didn't want any of his children to journey down the path that he did and always encouraged them to follow their dreams. Even from behind bars, he was still an incredible dad.

Leon looked out the window at the blue sky and passing clouds as he remembered the last conversation he had with his father before he got on his plane.

Flashback

The Calgary State Prison was one of the more lower security prisons in the Northern Country with both Villains and minor criminals' side by side. Leon had been to this very place multiple times to visit his father before, but it always felt weird coming into a place where he knew criminals were. Leon gave a polite greeting to the guards who were on the outside of the prison before he entered after showing his ID at the front. The guards themselves were good people and a lot of them had known Leon personally from his previous visits so they knew his reasons for being at the prison. Leon was escorted to the meeting area where friends and family could wait for their incarcerated family members. Leon sat down at one of the tables and waited a few minutes before his father entered the room, escorted by two other guards and his hands and feet bound by cuffs. Robert Silva, formerly Robert Morales, was a tall, well-built man with naturally tanned skin. His mahogany colored hair had become long from his time in prison and now fell to his shoulders along with a thick beard and his light brown eyes which looked tired, but they seemed to shine with joy as soon as they saw his son. He had been taking good care of his body as the dark orange jumpsuit of the prison clung to his muscular form. Leon gave his father a smile and stood up as he approached.

"Ah there's my boy!" Robert exclaimed with his classic Creole accent as he approached Leon.

"Hey pops," Leon said as the guards attached Robert to the table, "It's good to see you. How have you been?" he asked as he sat down.

"Pretty good all things considered. Being in here isn't exactly five star, but it could be worse," Robert said as he leaned forward on his elbows, "So what brings you here? I normally don't see you around this time. Is everything okay at home?" he asked concerned.

Leon smiled, "Yeah pops, everything is going great. Mom and Gabe are doing well, and I got a letter a few days ago from Melody. She and Sheryl are doing great in California. I'm actually here because I have something I wanted to tell you."

Robert raised an eyebrow, "What's up buddy?" he asked.

Leon nodded, "It is. I wanted to tell you that I'm leaving tomorrow," he said surprising his dad, "I jump on a plane and head to Japan tomorrow." He said before he pulled out a flyer for UA.

"I'm gonna try out for UA. To become a Hero."

Robert eyed the flyer for a minute before like he was thinking really hard before he let out a large laugh, "Well I'll be damned. And here I thought you'd be staying up here in Canada but heading over to Japan and trying out for the best hero school in the world? I could not be prouder of you!"

Leon's smile seemed to grow, "Thanks pops. I honestly didn't know what you would think about it considering your past."

Robert waved him off, "Oh don't worry about that. My past is mine and mine alone, you and the rest of your siblings live the lives that you want. Become the best kind of hero that you can be Leon and always remember you are my son and I love you."

Leon could feel the tears forming in his eyes, but he quickly wiped them away, "I love you too pops and don't worry. I am proud to be the son of Hydra and Titania, no matter what anyone says. I am going to be the best hero that Calgary has ever seen." He said as he stood up. Robert chuckled at his son's declaration and stood up as well. He then pulled his youngest child into a tight hug, the two stayed that way before they separated.

"You go and show them who you are." Robert said as he held Leon's face in his hands. Leon smiled at his father and felt incredibly happy at all the encouragement that he was giving him. Leon knew that his father's past was dark and rather sad, he made a living by killing the worst people on Earth and never found peace. As a vigilante, he would also take mercenary jobs around the world. Using his Quirk to kill despots, dictators, murderers, rapists, tyrants, and everything in between and as anyone could expect, doing something like that can wear on a man's soul.

When he met Melody and Sheryl's mother it was a passing fling, he didn't even think much of it. Then when his daughters were born, he started seeing the world differently, like there could be light even when you are surrounded by darkness. Then when he met Leon's mother and became Gabriel's stepfather, that was when he finally found peace after all the time, he had been alone. Being in prison was just his way owning up to the deeds he did.

"Hey Hydra, when you gonna get those sexy daughters of yours back in here?" a cocky voice shouted out. Both father and son turned towards the sound to see a greasy looking fella dressed in the same dark orange jumpsuit that Robert wore. His face looked more like a rat than mouse and he was completely bald with pale skin, large buck teeth, and a hunched over body.

Leon sneered at the rat man, "Who's this prick?"

Robert groaned, "That's Kowalski, he got sent here since he ain't nothing but a massive perv."

Kowalski chuckled, "Oh come on now, I just appreciate a woman's body a bit more than I should," he said as he licked his lips, "So as I was saying, those fine as hell daughters of yours gonna be coming by soon? I'd love to get a taste of those two." He said with a sadistic tone in his voice. Leon's body went ramrod stiff; this was one of the traits that he inherited from his father. Whenever someone insulted a person that they cared about, their body would go stiff and before anyone could think; they would strike. Apparently, all the men in Robert's family had this trait and they called it Burst, because of how fast they would strike. And right now, both father and son had the feeling like they were about to explode.

"I'm just saying those daughters of yours are something else. I would love to get my hands all around those tight, sexy bodies of theirs," Kowalski said as he sat forward, "And when I get them all warmed up, I would just throw them on whatever I could find and just…" before he could finish what he was saying and the guards could intervene, Leon landed a powerful right cross to the rat man's face making him shut up. He then followed up by grabbing the back of Kowalski's head and slammed his face into the table before picking him up and throwing him over his shoulder and slamming him on the ground.

For added measure Leon pulled Kowalski into a tight, rear naked choke to keep him from talking. The assault that just took place surprised everyone in the room except for Robert, he knew how strong his son was and how much he loved his family. Kowalski was just lucky that he was still conscious, if Leon wanted it, the rat man would be on the ground with his eyes rolled back into his head.

"You shitty punk, let me go!" Kowalski said as he struggled against Leon's grip. Leon didn't say anything as he just tightened his grip around Kowalski's throat causing him to groan in pain.

Robert crouched down and glared at Kowalski with no emotion in his eyes, "Your first mistake was opening your mouth. Your voice is really annoying. And secondly, insulting my daughters was the worst thing you could have ever made. I don't usually get involved in fights while I'm behind bars since there wouldn't be any point, but my son doesn't have that restriction." He said as he stood back up and backed away.

"Hey Rob, your boy won't kill Kowalski, will he?" one of the guards asked.

Robert smiled, "Have some faith boys, Leon may be my son, but he isn't me. He'll probably give the little rat a good beating, but he won't kill him. He's better than that."

Leon looked up at his dad with a smile, "Thanks pops," he said before he whispered to Kowalski, "Now you listen to me, if you ever insult my family again in any way possible then I promise you. Those guards will be the least of your worries." He said before he released Kowalski who quickly scurried away from Leon as the guards grabbed.

"You're a freaking psychopath!" Kowalski shouted at Leon as he was hauled away from the meeting area with a crooked nose and a bleeding face.

Leon shrugged, "I'm the son of Hydra, I'm going to have a little bit of crazy in me." He said as his father laughed and wrapped his arm around his shoulder.

"That's my boy!" he said before giving Leon a kiss on the cheek.

"DAD!"

Flashback End

Leon shook his head and smiled at the memory before he reached into the inside pocket of his vest and pulled out a slightly aged looking photo that depicted him when he was around 4, his older brother Gabriel, his mother, his father before he went to prison, and his two older sisters all together posing with smiles on their faces like they didn't have a care in the world. This was one of the last family photos that they all took together before Leon's dad was sent to prison.

"Mom, Dad, Gabe, Sheryl, Melody, I promise I'm gonna make you all proud." He said as he put the picture back and pulled out his sketchpad. Drawing was a personal hobby that Leon did when he had some extra time on his hands or when he was just bored but it was still something he enjoyed doing. Well, that, cooking, and the occasional scrap. Leon began doing some simple outlining, then some shading, and started filling in the rest with color. Thankfully, the pen that he used was able to do all that. The drawing soon came together and depicted what Leon wanted his hero costume to come out as. Just for a bit of flair he added his mother and older brother in their respected hero costumes with all three standing side by side in battle poses.

In her hero costume, Valerie wore a skintight white and silver bodysuit with matching heeled boots and silver armor trimmed with light and dark blue on her shoulders, chest, forearms, hands, shins, thighs, and a sea green crown that framed her face and forehead with her beautiful long black hair flowing around her. She also wore a masquerade mask that covered the top half of her face but revealed a set of golden eyes while the skin that was shown was a gorgeous light brown. The costume was a combination of Valerie's love for fantasy and some obvious physical needs to keep her protected and allows for movement and flexibility. But it truly fit the hero who bore the name Titania.

Gabe's costume wasn't as flashy as their mother's, but it still made a statement when people saw it. It consisted of a long-sleeved dark blue shirt with swirling yellow patches of cloth going all around it. Over the shirt was a sleeve-less dark blue and yellow vest with a hood that covered the top of his head. Black and blue cargo pants covered his legs with black boots on his feet with some dark blue protective gear on his shins, knees, forearms, and the gear on his shoulder was curved over his shoulders. He wears a pair of stylish, black goggles over his eyes giving him a mysterious look to him. Gabe protected the city of Toronto and was known as the Number 4 Hero, The Rampart Hero: Jupiter.

Leon smiled as he drew his family members, and his smile grew even more when he moved on to creating his own hero costume. Leon knew he had to pass the entrance exam first to even be able to enter what he wanted for his costume but just drawing it out made him feel very happy.

"What are you drawing?" a voice said. Leon looked up and to see a small child looking over at from the seat behind him.

Leon smiled at the child and showed him, "It's me in my hero costume along with my two favorite heroes from back in Canada." He said.

The child seemed impressed by his drawing, "Awesome! You can draw that well?" he said.

Leon became slightly bashful, "Well, I like to think that I'm okay, but drawing is more of a hobby than anything."

"So does that mean you are a hero?" The child asked.

Leon chuckled, "Well not yet but that's why I'm heading to Japan. I plan on attending UA." He said.

The child's eyes seemed to sparkle, "You're gonna become a hero at UA?! That's so cool!"

Leon smiled, "It sure is, let's just see how my hero life will end up." He said as he looked back out the window, knowing that soon he would be in a new country and his new life would begin.

"Look out Japan, get ready for Leon Silva." He said with a smile.

MHA

The plane finally landed at the airport in Mustafu, and Leon was able to stretch his tired bones, planes really needed to figure out how to make their seats more comfortable. Leon grabbed his bags and looked around the terminal, his mom told him that a friend of hers from school was more than willing to put him up while he went to UA and that she would meet him at the airport. She told him that her friend had met him a few times when he was younger, but he didn't really remember what she looked like so all he could really do was look around for someone.

Looking around at all the people in the terminal to try and find someone that he could recognize but so far, he wasn't having any luck. That was until his eyes landed on a woman who looked around his mother's age with dark brown hair that was styled around her face beautifully with her warm, hazel colored eyes giving off a motherly look to them. She was a bit older, but her face showed very few signs of aging, with Leon wondering if she was really around his mother's age. She had a fit, athletic body with ivory colored skin and was dressed in a simple pair of dark blue jeans with black heeled shoes and a dark green turtleneck. On her wrists she wore a stylish bracelet and from what Leon could see, there was also a wedding ring on her left hand.

Leon couldn't really place it, but the woman seemed very familiar to him, plus the fact that she was holding a bright colored sign with his name on it probably said that she was the woman that he was looking for.

Making his way over to the woman, she gave him a warm smile as she laid eyes on him. Due to Leon being just a few inches taller than the woman, she had to crane her neck upward to look at him.

"Leon Silva?" she asked.

Leon nodded, "Yes, that's me."

The woman squealed and wrapped her arms around Leon's body, he could tell that she tried to reach his neck, but her arms wouldn't reach.

"Oh, my lord, it is so good to see you again," she said releasing him and giving him a once over, "Hmm, you are your father's son. So tall and handsome." She said making Leon blush.

"Um thank you for that. I don't mean to be rude, but have we met before? You seem very familiar to me, but I can't put my finger on it?" Leon asked.

The woman chuckled, "I'm not surprised you don't remember me. My name is Hanaoka Kasumi. Your mother and I were classmates when we went to UA but while she was in the Hero Course, I was in the Support Department. We were technically in different classes, but we bonded very easily and became best friends. The one time we actually met each other was at your older brother's high school graduation."

A light bulb went off in Leon's head, "Oh, now I remember you. Yeah, you surprised my mom out of nowhere and started talking loudly with her and my dad once Gabe's ceremony was over and he went to go celebrate with his friends."

Kasumi giggled, "Yeah, Valerie and I do tend to get over-excited at time, but we've learned to keep ourselves under control. Most of the time."

Leon shrugged, "If you say so." He said with a smile. Kasumi then led the young man out of the terminal and towards a parking garage where she had a stylish sedan waiting for her. The Leon put his bags in the back seat before he joined Kasumi up in the front seat. The older woman soon began driving on the streets of Mustafu with Leon looking intently at the passing buildings and some of the more interesting Japanese style buildings that were littered around the different areas of the city.

"Man, I cannot believe that I am actually here! I have spent so much time just imagining what this country would be like and now that I am here in person, it's better than I could ever imagine." Leon said with a large smile on his face.

Kasumi giggled, "You are adorable Leon-chan. I didn't think that you would be so interested in Japanese culture, but your mother did say you were a bit of a nerd."

Leon groaned as his cheeks warmed up, "While I do not really appreciate my mother telling people things like that, she isn't wrong. I love Japanese culture and one of the benefits of living in Calgary was the multitude of different cultures that I lived alongside. One of my ex-girlfriends is actually half-Japanese."

"Oh, one of them? Sounds to me like you are a bit of a heartbreaker there Leon-chan." Kasumi teased.

Leon scoffed, used to the kind of teasing she was doing since his older sisters would do the same thing, "I wouldn't go as far as heartbreaker Kasumi-san. More like broken heart. I have only dated two women in my life and they both broke up with me."

Kasumi frowned as she turned a corner, "Oh, I'm sorry Leon-chan. Why would they do that?"

Leon shrugged, "Well, my first girlfriend cheated on me. Turns out she wasn't the most monogamous person, so she dumped me before I could dump her. The second girl wasn't as bad, our mother's set us up and we went on a few dates together, but she broke up with me. Turns out, she played for a different team."

Kasumi gasped, "Oh my!"

Leon chuckled, "Yeah, I was surprised as well. She was hiding it from her parents because they were very old school traditional. When she told me, I understood and I didn't judge her at all, love is love plain and simple. Her parents are still on the edge about her choice, but they are working through it. They don't want to lose their daughter."

Kasumi nodded, "I can understand that. Do you still keep in contact?" she asked.

"Oh yeah, she's actually one of my best friends. She was actually one of the people who helped me learn Japanese." Leon said with a smile.

"Well considering how well you are speaking I would say she did a good job," Kasumi said as they pulled into a driveway, "Well here we are. Home sweet home." She said as she cut the engine. Leon got out and grabbed his bags before he looked at the house itself. It was rather nice. A simple yet elegant, modern Japanese style house that was two stories with a yard in the front a fence lining the outer area. Leon nodded at the house before he followed Kasumi to the front door. As they neared it, the door opened and a girl around Leon's age stepped out. She had her back to them as she was saying goodbye to the people inside the house but as she closed the door and turned, her foot seemed to slip, and she began falling forward.

Acting on instinct, Leon leapt forward and caught the girl in his arms before she fell. The girl held onto Leon's arms for dear life as she started breathing hard from the shock of nearly falling.
"You okay there?" he asked her. The girl looked directly into Leon's eyes, giving him a wonderful view of her warm, brown, doe eyes that suited her well with the same kind of skin tone that Kasumi had. Her long mahogany colored hair had some amber highlights running through it and was tied into a tight ponytail. She looked like she was dressed in a schoolgirl uniform with a dark blue and black checkered skirt with a white dress shirt and a violet blazer over it all. There were black stockings from her knees down to her feet which were covered by stylish black shoes.

The girl seemed like she was frozen in place as Leon looked upon her and there seemed to be a small amount of color tinged her cheeks. Leon smiled at the girl and set her back onto her feet seeing that she wasn't harmed in any way.

"Ryoko, sweetie, are you okay?!" Kasumi shouted in distress as she ran to the young girl to check on her.

The girl, now known as Ryoko, shook her head as if to clear the cobwebs out, "Yeah, yeah, I'm okay mom. I guess I really need to watch where I'm going. Looks like I tripped over my own feet." She said.

Kasumi breathed a sigh of relief, "Thank goodness, I was really worried you were hurt."

Ryoko gave an embarrassed chuckle, "Sorry," she said before turning her attention back to Leon, "Um mom, who is this?" she asked pointing at Leon.

Kasumi pulled her daughter's hand down, "Ryoko don't point, that's rude. And this is the young man that I told you about that would be staying with us while he goes to UA." She said as Ryoko nodded in understanding.

Leon smiled, "Nice to meet you, I'm Leon Silva." He said holding his hand out.

Ryoko seemed almost apprehensive about taking his hand but after a few moments she put her hand in his and shook, "Ryoko. Hanaoka Ryoko." She said as they stopped shaking hands.

Kasumi cleared her throat, "So Ryoko, where are you off to in such a hurry?" she asked her daughter.

Ryoko gasped, "Oh no, I totally forgot! I got a call from coach asking all the players to come by for a last minute practice so we can get ready for the tournament this weekend," she said as she picked up the black bag that had fallen off her shoulder, "I will be back later today. See you around mom! Nice to meet you Leon-san!" she said as she started to run.

Leon blinked, "Your daughter is quite…energetic." He said as he picked up his bags.

Kasumi nodded, "She is but she is a very good girl. She is one of her school's star tennis players and keeps her grades incredibly high. I'm very proud of her." She said with a smile.

Leon smiled at Kasumi; he could tell just from the way that she talked about her that she loved her very much. The thought brought a twinge to his heart as he thought of his own mother and hoping that she was doing well back in Calgary. Leon knew that coming to Japan was the best option that he could make for his future and his family understood that but there would always be that part of him that would always stay homesick. But for now, he needed to get more accustomed to his new life in Japan.

Kasumi led Leon into the house where she told him he needed to take off his shoes and put on house slippers. He didn't really understand the concept, but he complied, he didn't want to be disrespectful. Walking inside the interior was just as nice as the exterior, polished wooden floors with a carpeted area off to the side that served as a living room with a large flat screen TV. The kitchen area was towards the back of the house with a large island in the center and a lot of high end appliances that Leon appreciated.

Walking passed the living room area, Leon noticed two small children that looked around 7 or 8 years old that looked identical to each other. There was one boy and one girl with the boy having his mahogany colored hair spiked up with dark green eyes. He was wearing a black sleeveless shirt with some gold writing on it and a pair of jean shorts. He was also wearing a stylized headset over his ears that reminded Leon of what pro gamers would use.

The girl seemed to be an exact copy of the boy with the same colored hair but hers was pulled into a ponytail, but her eyes were the same as Kasumi's. She was dressed in a pair of black shorts with a black shirt that had gold sleeves. She had the same kind of headphones on that the boy had. The two kids didn't even seem to notice when Kasumi and Leon walked into the house. They both had game controllers in their hands and were intensely playing some kind of magic shooter FPS game.

Kasumi rolled her eyes, "The two kids over there with their eyes glued to the TV are my two youngest children, Megumi and Takumi." She said.

"Hi." Megumi said.

"Yo." Takumi said.

The two children didn't even glance in Leon's direction while they played.

Kasumi groaned, "I apologize for them Leon-chan. Despite them being young, they are very well known in the Pro-gaming world."

Leon nodded and went over to the kids, their avatars in the game were very low on health and looked like they were pinned down by a sniper.

"Gah, this dang sniper is really ticking me off!" Takumi said.

"But what can we do? We need to get into that citadel but if we don't get passed that sniper then we can't advance." Megumi said worried.

Leon looked at the game and could see what kind of weapons and tools that the kids had on them, from looking at that, Leon was able to devise a plan that could help them.

He gently knocked them on their heads to get their attention which made them look towards them, "You guys are overthinking this. The only advantage that sniper has over you is that he is hidden and sniping from a long distance. Throw either a smoke bomb or flash bang in the sniper's direction to disorient him. From there, start launching a variety of long distance attacks. Get in as close as you can while distracting him, once you are close enough take him out with an assassination attack or close range strike. From there you should be able to continue." Leon said to the two kids.

Both children looked at him like they were uncertain of whether or not to take his advice but since they were in a bind, they decided to take Leon's advice. Takumi started by throwing out a smoke and a flashbang bomb together to disorient their opponent which worked well and blinded the sniper. Takumi and his sister then did what Leon said and shot back at the sniper with long range attacks and magic blasts while they were protected by their improvised cover, once they were able to breach the citadel they quickly got up to where the sniper was a took him out with a quick assassination attack.

"Yay, it worked!" Megumi shouted.

"Now we have a way into the citadel and from there, we can finish the game no problem!" Takumi said as he high fived his sister.

Leon chuckled, "Glad I could help."

The twin siblings jumped to their feet and bowed to Leon, "Thank you for your help," they said as Leon nodded his head, "But, who exactly are you?" Megumi asked.

"And why are you in our house?" Takumi asked.

Kasumi groaned, "I swear, you two pay more attention to the game world then the real world," she said as she patted Leon on the shoulder, "This is Leon Silva. He will be staying with us while he goes tries out for UA. He's the son of one of my oldest friends so do your best to make him feel welcome."

The twin siblings' eyes lit up at the mention of the famous hero school, not even caring about the rest of what their mother said, "Awesome!" they both shouted in joy.

"I told you this weeks ago," Kasumi said as she palmed her face, "Well you guys get back to your virtual world while I take Leon up to his room."

Leon patted both kids on the head which got them to smile, "Nice to be meet you both." He said as he followed Kasumi up a flight of stairs while the twins got back to their game.

Leon went up the stairs, trailing behind Kasumi until he got to the top of the stairs. Up on the top level, there were eight doors that lined a long hallway with a few pictures hanging on the wall with some decorative plants on top of some tables.

"Aunty Kasumi, do you have more than three kids? There seem to be a lot of rooms up here." Leon asked.

Kasumi nodded, "Yes, I actually have six children," she said getting a wide-eyed look from Leon, "Yeah, a lot of people are surprised when I say that."

"I can see why. You are incredibly beautiful, and you don't seem like you would have so many children." Leon said.

Kasumi giggled, "Well thank you Leon-chan, you are quite the charmer but yes I have six children. You already met Ryoko, Takumi, and Megumi but my other children are my three eldest daughters. Satsuki is my eldest, but she lives in Hokkaido as a novelist while her husband is a soccer coach. Yuuma is my second oldest and is a preschool teacher, one of the best from what I've heard from the parents of her students. And finally, there is Hinata. She is very bubbly, sweet, and a real sweetheart. She hosts one of the most popular radio shows in the city and works as a model part time." She said as she opened one of the doors that led to a barren, yet well-kept room.

Leon blinked, "Wow, those are some impressive children you have Aunty Kasumi." He said as he walked inside the room. There wasn't a whole lot just a bed, a small table, and a dresser, but Leon didn't really need much. If he didn't pass the entrance exam at UA, then he wouldn't be here long. But he did plan on passing, so he needed to make the best of what he has been given.

Leon went over and sat down on the bed before setting his bags down, "Well, this looks like it'll be just what I need," he said turning to Kasumi, "I can't thank you enough for putting me up Aunty. I really don't know what I would have done if you hadn't."

Kasumi waved off his concern and kissed him on the forehead making him smile, "Like I said earlier, it's no problem at all. Your mother and I have been through thick and thin during our youth, and we have saved each other from so many different threats and dangers, she's like the sister I never had. The least I could do is let her son stay with me while he chases his dream."

Leon smiled, "Well still, thank you for everything."

Kasumi smiled and nodded, "It is my pleasure. I'll leave you to get your things unpacked and let you get settled in. I'll be by later to tell you when dinner is ready." She said. Leon nodded and watched as Kasumi left him alone in the room. He put all of his clothes away and made sure that he found an easily accessible outlet for his chargers and set his laptop and his sketch pad onto the small table. After getting all of his things unpacked, Leon lied down onto the bed and let out a relaxed sigh.

"I'm finally here. Only three months until the exam, so I need to do everything I can to make sure that I'm prepared for it," he said to himself before he was interrupted by a deep rumbling in his stomach, "But first, I need food."

MHA

Ryoko was currently walking on the streets outside of her home, excited to be going home and getting some well-deserved rest. Her sudden training was very intense, but her coach was just that kind of person. She cared very deeply about her players and never pushed them beyond their limits if she could help it. But Ryoko was very happy to have her coach along with the rest of her teammates.

As her home came into view, the images of Leon snuck into her mind. Her face soon became warm as she remembered the feeling of his strong arms around her as he held her, the kind smile on his face as he looked down on her, and the gentleness she felt in his gaze. The young man that she would now be sharing her home with had somehow snuck her mind and now she couldn't get him out. Her heart was beating so fast that she didn't even notice someone calling out to her until they were right next to her.

"Ryoko-chan!"

Ryoko jumped at the sound of sudden voice next to her and let off a shriek, she looked over at the source of the voice and immediately calmed down at the sight of who it was. There were two women standing next to her, both had hair and eyes that were similar to her but one of them had her hair done up in a functional ponytail with some stylish, oval glasses over her eyes. She was dressed in an ankle length grey skirt with a long-sleeved navy sweater and white blouse. Simple black shoes were on her feet and a black, leather purse was hanging from her shoulder. This was Hanaoka Yuuma.

The second woman had a large smile on her face and her eyes shined brightly while her hair was straight and fell down to her shoulders. She was dressed in a knee length navy skirt with black heels, a burgundy blouse, and a short, black leather jacket. She was the kind of woman who didn't need any makeup, but she did love her jewelry as evident from the bright gold necklace and matching earrings she wore. This was Hanaoka Hinata.

These two women were Ryoko's older sisters who still lived at home with her. Ryoko loved her sisters, but they could be a bit much at times such as they would cheer so loud at her matches that everyone would recognize them immediately and even teasing her whenever there was cute boy that would talk to her.

Ryoko gasped before she got her breath back, "Oh, Hinata-nee-chan. You scared me."

Hinata pouted, "Well you didn't answer me when I called out for you. You looked so deep in thought."

"Is everything okay Ryoko?" Yuuma asked with a worried tone.

Ryoko gave her sisters a kind smile, "Yes, yes everything is fine. Sorry, I guess I spaced out for a minute and didn't even notice it."

Her older sister nodded, and the trio soon walked together the rest of the way home, talking about their day with Ryoko telling her sisters about Leon.

"Oh, so the boy Mama was talking about is here?" Yuuma asked.

Ryoko nodded as the familiar blush creeped back onto her face, "Yes, Leon-san. He is very…nice." She said.

"Ara, does Ryoko-chan have a crush already? Love at first sight maybe?" Hinata teased.

Ryoko shook her head, "No, no, that's not it at all! Leon-san is just a very nice boy!"

"Then why are you calling him Leon-san and not Leon-kun?" Yuuma added.

Ryoko became even more flustered, "I am just being respectful! He is older than me and mama told us to treat Leon-san with respect so that's what I'm doing!"

Yuuma sighed, "Oh Ryoko, you are so easy to tease." She said getting a loud laugh from Hinata. Ryoko groaned as she and her sisters walked into the house. They were soon assaulted with an intoxicating smell, unlike anything that they had smelled before.

Hinata took a big whiff in and sighed with a smile on her face, "Ahh, what a nice smell."

Yuuma nodded, "It really is. I don't think that I have ever smelled something like this before."

Ryoko seemed to be enraptured by the smell and started walking towards the source of the smell. All three sisters found themselves in the living room/kitchen and saw something that they didn't expect. While Takumi and Megumi were still involved in their game, their mother was in the kitchen while their father Jiro was sitting at the nearby dinner table.

Hanaoka Jiro was a rather intimidating man when you first lay eyes on him, but he was actually a very kind and generous man. He stood at around 6'5 with deep black/brown hair, warm hazel eyes, ivory skin, and a very pronounced underbite that displayed two large fangs jutting out from his bottom jaw. He was currently dressed in a sleeveless blue shirt and a pair of sweatpants; this was his usual attire for when he would relax after a long day at work.

"Oh girls, welcome home." Jiro greeted his daughters.

Yuuma nodded her head to her father as her sisters did the same, "Hello Papa. What is that smell?" she asked.

"I don't think I have every smelled anything like this." Ryoko said.

Hinata didn't say anything as she just moved herself into the kitchen to where she saw Leon standing over a large pot and stirring the contents with a spoon.

"Oh hello, are you Leon-kun?" Hinata asked.

Leon put the spoon down and looked at the older girl, "Yes that's me, it's a pleasure to meet you miss." He said bowing.

Hinata giggled before she got right into Leon's face and started examining it as he stood back up, "Wow, handsome face, solid build, polite, looks like he takes care of his hygiene," she then leaned over the pot and inhaled deeply before sighing in content, "And he can cook too. I like this boy. He seems like a good match for Ryoko-chan."

Ryoko's face lit up again in embarrassment at her sister's comment, "Hinata-nee-chan, stop that!" she yelled.

Hinata and Yuuma giggled while Leon just raised an eyebrow at their actions, this was not what he expected when he planned on meeting Kasumi's other daughters.

Kasumi rolled her eyes and shooed her elder daughters away, "Alright that's enough. Go and get changed, all of you. Leon-chan was kind enough to cook dinner for us so I expect you all on your best behavior and show some respect to our new house guest."

"Yes mama." All three girls said with a bow of their heads before they went upstairs to change out of their clothes and into something more comfortable for dinner.

Leon chuckled, "Your family is very interesting Aunty." He said as he pulled out a clean cutting board.

Kasumi sighed, "Sometimes I don't see how I can have so many children but almost none of them are like me or Jiro."

Jiro gave off a throaty chuckle, "I think we got off lucky with the fact that we have no children who are like me. Well, unless you count Takumi's Quirk." He said.

After meeting the Hanaoka family father, Leon had decided to ask about what kinds of Quirks the family had. Kasumi could levitate any metallic object near her but anything too large could cause her severe mental strain, but it helped her greatly in her job working for a support gear company. Jiro had the ability to mimic the natural abilities of animals granting him any he wished for certain situations from tacking, to searching, to even jumping abilities. Skills that helped him immensely as a sidekick for The Ninja Hero: Edgeshot. The kids all had some kind of aspect of their parent's Quirks, but the girls seemed to take more after their mother in some way or form while Takumi seemed to be the only one who do any kind of animal mimicry like his father.

Leon gave off a small chuckle before he turned back to prepping his food, most of the heavy stuff was done so now all he had to focus on was the garnishes. Luckily, the Hanaoka family had a wonderful rooftop garden that shocked the young man but brought him joy all the same. He loved fresh produce and the ones you grew yourself were always better. He grabbed some fresh okra and put them in a colander before he poured water over them. After he rinsed them thoroughly, he placed his hand over them and gathered up all the excess water that was on them using his Quirk then shifted them till they were joined together formed into the shape of a knife.

Leon smiled and solidified his water knife to slice the okra up into small coins that he would then dredge and deep fry as a crunchy garnish.

"Oh, that's interesting. Is that your Quirk Leon?" Jiro asked.

Leon nodded as he dredged his okra, "Yes sir. My Quirk is dual natured as it combines parts from both of my parents. I can manipulate and shape water as well as change its properties to become solidified or turn into ice and, I can also manipulate and shape the air around me."

Leon Silva

Quirk: Tempest

Any manner of air or water he can manipulate and control, mainly only using one or the other but is skilled at using both.

Leon proceeded to add his okra to piping hot oil and let them crisp, "Ever since my Quirk manifested, I've been using different techniques and training methods so that I can become skilled in using both but I'm still pretty lousy at using them simultaneously, so I tend to use one or the other majority of the time."

Jiro nodded, "You know, for a lot of people with Emitter-type Quirks that isn't totally unheard of. Since you seem to have a handle on using both and just need some polishing, a little more training in that department could benefit you," he said before his eyes widened, "Hey, since you don't have the exam for another few months, why don't you come with me to Edgeshot's agency a few days a week? I'm sure we could find a few ways to work on your Quirk and really make a splash at the exam."

Leon blinked, "Wait, really? I wouldn't be distracting you?"

Jiro waved off his concern, "Please, I may be a sidekick, but Edgeshot loves to do things his own way along with only a select group of sidekicks along with him. I spend most of my time back at the office training or doing some paperwork, if I could make good use of my time by helping a future hero then that would make me very happy." He said.

Leon smiled and nodded, "If that's the case then I will take you up on your offer, Uncle Ji." He said with a smirk causing Jiro to laugh loudly but not seeming to mind the name Leon gave him. Leon finished up his okra and pulled some cornbread out of the oven that he proceeded to slice up and stack on top of each other with his Quirk. He the saw that the girls had all changed into some more casual shirts and either sweatpants or shorts. Ryoko still had a blush on her face, but Leon didn't pay much mind to it.

"Perfect timing ladies, food's ready." Leon said as everyone sat down at the dinner table. Jiro had to pull his youngest children away from their game to sit them down at the table but not without several groans of protest. Leon chuckled before he ladled several portions of his stew into bowls and garnished them with fried okra. He used his Quirk to levitate all the dishes and placed them on the table along with a fresh salad.

"I hope you all enjoy this, it's one of the first dishes I ever learned how to make. Chicken and sausage Gumbo with fried okra, homemade cornbread, and a fresh garden salad." Leon announced as he sat down in-between Takumi and Megumi. Everyone at the table put their hands together and spoke at how grateful they were for the food while Leon did a small prayer himself as he was raised to be a faithful Catholic.

Everyone took a spoon and dug into the food, the minute the stewed dish touched their tongue their eyes shot open. Leon grew a bit concerned about their responses but the happy sounds they all soon gave off quickly banished the worried thoughts from his mind.

"This is delicious!" Hinata shouted.

"I agree, I don't think I have ever had flavors like this before." Kasumi commented.

"I have to say Leon, if for some God forbidden reason that you don't become a hero, you could make a real living as a chef." Jiro said as he savored the flavors of the Gumbo.

Leon smiled, "Yeah, most of my family and friends back home say that." He said before eating his own portion of gumbo. He had to admit it was good.

Ryoko kept her head down while eating but every now and then she would steal glances at Leon, the teasing that Hinata did earlier about how Leon would make a good match for her stuck in her mind. She had only met the older boy a few hours ago but she couldn't deny the obvious attraction she had for him. He was kind, polite, and very handsome. And the way he was passionate enough to move to another country to pursue his dream of being a hero was something she found admirable. Her eyes were also drawn to the unique necklace he wore, it wasn't like any kind of jewelry she had ever seen but it was rather beautiful.

Leon saw Ryoko staring at him with a light blush creeping on her face, but he smiled when he was that her gaze was drawn to his pendant, "Beautiful isn't it?" he said taking his necklace off.

Ryoko was embarrassed about the way she was staring but nodded to catch herself from saying something foolish, "Oh, uh, yes. It is very interesting." She said as Leon handed her his necklace with her sisters looking at it as well.

Leon smiled fondly, "That necklace actually has a very unique history. It was the necklace that my grandfather gave to my grandmother when he wanted to propose."

Yuuma looked over at him, "Why a necklace?" she asked.

Leon chuckled, "In my grandfather's culture whenever a young man intends to propose marriage to a woman, they would make a hand-carved necklace out of ivory or whatever kind of natural material is native to their village. The carving is usually unique to the woman, their culture, or something that relates to their journey as a couple."

"So, what does this image represent?" Hinata asked.

"It's a combination of my grandparent's heritages. My grandfather is Inuit which is represented by the stary night sky while the spear represents my grandmother's Nordic heritage. He hand-carved that pendant out of ivory when he wanted to get married. Took him over 6 hours to find the right material and carve it. Thank God she ended up saying yes." Leon said with a smirk.

Ryoko smiled, "That's really romantic," She said, "But wait, if a necklace like this is supposed to mean the intend to marriage, why are you wearing it?" she asked as all eyes turned to Leon.

Leon rubbed the back of his neck, "Well, when my dad wanted to propose to my mom, he wanted to honor her culture so when he asked my gramps for his blessing to marry her, my gramps told him about their traditions but instead of creating a new one my grandma butted in and said that she wanted to create a tradition in which her necklace was handed down from parent to child."

"So why don't any of your older siblings wear it?" Kasumi asked.

Leon shrugged, "My older sisters said that it would be dishonest if they were since they didn't have my mother's blood, even though she loves them like her own daughters. And my brother didn't really care, he doesn't really wear any accessories that aren't for a specific use so my mother gave it to me," he said as a small smile crept along his face, "My grandma said it was fate because when I was a baby, I wouldn't be able to fall asleep if I didn't have that with me." He as Ryoko handed the necklace back to him and he put it on.

Megumi tapped his shoulder, "Then what about the cool bracelet you wear?" she asked pointing to Leon's wrist.

Leon smiled proudly, "This was a gift from my father. When I manifested my Quirk, my pops handed this down to me. The stones represent my Creole heritage since the symbol that is imbedded into the stones represent the Loa that protects my family."

Takumi tilted his head, "What's a Loa?" he asked.

Leon hummed, "Think of them like guardian deities. They guard over different aspects of the world and act as mysterious spirits. They are a very big part of the culture of Louisiana which is where my father is originally from. It's kind of a family heirloom since mt father got it from his who got it from his and so on. It's been handed down from all the men in my family since the days from before Quirks when my ancestors were brought over on slave ships."

"Wow, you have some interesting family history Leon-chan." Kasumi said.

Leon chuckled, "Don't I know it."

The rest of the night went by very well with some small talk between everyone and with Leon telling the Hanaoka family a bit more about himself from his time back in Calgary, his old friends, his siblings, how his Quirk manifested, and even about his previous heartbreaks. Leon would often see Ryoko blush from some of the answers he gave but she was a very nice girl as was her siblings and parents. Leon even found out that Ryoko was quite the artist, which was something that he was eager to share with her but as for now, his first night in Japan went better than he could have thought.

MHA

The next morning, Leon did his usual routine of waking up at the crack of dawn and heading out to do a run around the neighborhood. This would also give him a chance to check out the neighborhood more and keep his training schedule right.

Leon was now dressed in a sleeveless dark blue hoodie that showed off his muscular arms and a pair of track pants with some sneakers. His necklaces and bracelet were still on him, he would always have those on while he was out.

As Leon was crouched down tying the laces of his shoes, he heard the small pattering of feet behind him. He turns around to see Takumi dressed in some pajamas that depicted the Number One Hero All Might with his hair sticking up in all directions and rubbing his eyes to try and see through the tiredness of his eyes.

Takumi yawned before he saw Leon, "Leon-san, where are you going?" he asked quietly.

Leon smiled as he stood up and went over to the boy, "Hey Takumi, I didn't mean to wake you up. I'm just going on a run around the neighborhood." He said patting the boy on the head.

"Oh, but you are coming back, right?" Takumi asked.

Leon chuckled, "Of course I am, this is my home while I'm in Japan," he said as he led Takumi back to his room, "Now why don't you get some more sleep. It's too early for you to be up. When I come back, I'm going to make you a delicious breakfast like how I used to do back home."

Takumi nodded happily before he headed back into his room, "Have a nice run Nii-chan." Takumi said as he closed the door for his room.

Leon smiled, he didn't know if it was because Takumi was still sleepy or if he really did see Leon as an older brother but hearing someone younger than him call him a term that meant big brother made him feel all giddy inside.

Leon finished up getting ready for his run before he headed out onto the streets of Mustafu. The streets were relatively empty which served well for Leon, allowing him to flip and jump over any and all kinds of obstacles that were in his path. Only a few people were on the streets themselves and whenever Leon passed by them, he gave them a polite wave despite the shocked looks on their faces. Leon couldn't blame them, seeing a tall, foreigner free running through the streets of Mustafu probably wasn't the most common thing to see but Leon understood that, so he wasn't really upset by any of it.

Leon flipped over several tall stone walls until he came to a stop in front of a large beach that had its sand littered with different types of litter and garbage which made Leon a bit sad. Coming from a city that had so much natural beauty in it, Leon loved seeing the beauty of nature wherever he went but the clutter of garbage that covered the beach in front of him hurt his heart a little bit.

"Man, this is a terrible sight." He said quietly as he reached into the small running pack he carried on his back and grabbed a bottle of water. One of the downsides of his Quirk was that he needed to keep his body hydrated 24/7. It helped him whenever he manipulated and solidified water. As he drank, Leon heard the familiar sounds of workout grunts off to the side. Another interesting part of his Quirk was he could sense disturbances in the air as well as different vibrations that echoed. It wasn't a perfect technique and he was still learning on how to perfect it but his time in Calgary with his mentors and family.

Leon walked down a small flight of stairs till his shoes hit the sand and he looked over to see a skinny, green-haired boy around his age dressed in a t-shirt and trackpants with sneakers. But the most interesting thing about the boy was that he was currently pulling a large refrigerator by a rope tied around his waist. The fridge was serving as a seat for a very, very skinny blond man with sunken in eyes and pale skin who was dressed in a t-shirt and cargo pants.

The green haired boy was pulling the fridge with all the strength he could muster whole the blonde-haired skeleton shouted encouragement, "Come on Young Midoriya! You need to push beyond the limits you have! Keep going!" he said as the green-haired boy continued to pull but he eventually couldn't move any more and faceplanted into the sand below.

"Ouch, that's rough." Leon said as he made his way over to the fallen boy.

"Hey man, you alright?" Leon asked the boy as he struggled to get back up.

The green-haired boy lifted his head to look at Leon and gave him small smile, "Oh yes, I'm okay. Just have to try harder I guess."

Leon chuckled and hooked his arm under the fallen boys', "Come one dude, let's get you back on your feet." He said lifting the boy up. It was rather easy considering his smaller stature.

The boy looked at Leon, but he had a look on his face like he was incredibly nervous, "Oh, uh thank you very much for your help." He said bowing deeply.

Leon smiled, "No worries, dude happy to help. But what exactly are you doing here and who is that guy on the fridge?" he asked.

The boy looked nervous again and started stuttering before he spoke, "Oh, well, uh, you see, I am down here doing some training for the UA Entrance Exam and that blonde man is my trainer in a way."

Leon raised an eyebrow at the blonde, "He's a trainer?"

The blonde man laughed before he jumped off the fridge and made his way over to the two young men, "Yes young man, I am a trainer. Despite my appearance I have done a lot in my life which I use to train Young Midoriya here." He said patting the boy named Midoriya on the shoulder.

Leon nodded, "Oh, well in guess that makes sense. Sorry about that sir," he said bowing with the older man waving off his concerns, "So you are planning on attending UA as well?"

Midoriya's head snapped up and looked at Leon, "As well? You are planning on going to UA too?" he asked excitedly.

Midoriya's excitement was contagious as Leon smiled, "Yeah I am. I came all the way from Canada to attend the school. I want to become a hero for the good people of my city. And to honor my family name."

Midoriya seemed even more excited by this, "Do you have family members that are heroes?" he asked.

Leon nodded, "My mother and older brother are in the top ten of Canada's Heroes while my older sisters own their own Support Company in Los Angeles. My pops…did a few unsavory things back in his youth so he's taking it easy as a factory worker. I came to Japan so I can learn as much as I can from UA and become a hero that can do my city proud." Leon said with pride. He didn't want to reveal his father's situation to someone he didn't really know so the most he could say was what his dad used to do before he got locked up.

Midoriya smiled, "Wow, that's amazing! To have some many people in your family doing so much for the hero world, you must be really proud of them."

Leon's smile grew, "More than you could ever know," he said before holding his hand out, "Oh right, I'm Leon Silva. It's nice to meet you."

Midoriya shook his hands to get the sweat off, "Midoriya Izuku, it's really nice to meet you Silva-kun." He said as the two boys shook hands and separated. Leon nodded and reached into his pack and pulled out one of the many bottles of water he carried on him and handed it over to Izuku.

"Here, you look like you could use this." He said.

Izuku seemed ecstatic, "Thank you so much!" he said accepting the water and nearly downing the entire thing in one gulp. Leon chuckled at Izuku's actions before he did the same with two more bottles himself.

The blond, skeleton man raised an eyebrow, "Young Silva, do you always drink so much water?" he asked.

Leon nodded, "Yes sir, part of my Quirk resolves around water. As a result of that, I need to constantly stay hydrated to keep it working at full capacity."

Izuku seemed interested in Leon's explanation, "Oh wow, does that mean your Quirk allows you to manipulate water?" he asked.

"Well, part of it is. My Quirk is called Tempest and it allows me to manipulate wind and water in a variety of ways. But I need some kind of external source in order for it to work properly." He said.

Izuku put a hand to his lips as if he was thinking, "How interesting. Wind and water are two elements that go well together and if used in harmony then the applications could be endless. Even if an external source is needed, with enough training you could pull water and moisture right out of the air itself then combine that with some kind of wind attack to easily take down villains or help in search in rescue missions if you are surrounded by a large body of water…" Izuku continued this Quirk rant for a while, seemingly forgetting about everything around him.

Leon looked over to the blonde man, "Um, does this happen a lot?" he asked.

The blonde man shook his head, "Unfortunately. Young Midoriya is incredibly fascinated by Quirks and whenever one that he finds interesting comes in his way he goes off on a tangent."

Leon nodded. It was a actually kind of interesting about how interested Izuku got about Quirks and if he could use all that knowledge in an actual setting when he was surrounded by other heroes he could assist them in designated them where to go and how to use their Quirk to the fullest. Leon chuckled at his new friend's actions before a rush of air hit the back of his head, making him go stiff. He quickly turned around and tried to pinpoint the source of the disturbance.

"Young Silva, is something wrong?" The skeleton asked getting Izuku's attention as well.

"Shh." Leon quickly said as he closed his eyes, he reached out his senses with his wind Quirk to try and find where it was coming from. Doing this process gave him major headaches if he overdid it but now was a moment that he needed to fight past that feeling and find out what was going on.

'Someone! Someone, please help me!'

A voice in peril screamed out through the air and made Leon open his eyes, finally finding the general area where the threat was.

"Someone is in trouble!" Leon shouted before he flew into the air. He used his Quirk to create a small disk of air beneath him, letting him fly through the air. This method was more suited to Leon since he could use his Air Disk to maneuver through the air easier rather than just constantly letting off air to help him fly. Leon ignored the shouts of protest from the skeleton man and Izuku as he flew through the air to try and find the source of the scream for help.

"I just hope I'm not too late."

MHA

"Someone, someone please help me!"

A young girl with a spider mutant Quirk as struggling with as much strength as she could against the grips of the five, older men who had thrown her on the ground and started pawing at her body trying to get her school uniform off.

One of the men slapped her so hard that she saw stars, "Shut up you mutant bitch! Just let this happen!" he said as he pinned down one of her arms.

"Let her scream! It makes this all the better. Besides no one is around to hear her anyway." The head man said as he took off his coat. The sad thing was he was right. The men had dragged the girl into a side alley that hardly anyone ever goes by so there was an incredibly slim chance that anyone would come and help her.

"Come one and get started! I want my turn!" another man said as he held down one of the spider girl's legs despite her kicking.

"Then let's get this party started!" another man said as he held down the girl's arm and began to unbutton her jacket and shirt. As the head man began to descend upon the girl whose gaze was full of fear and despair. She could not believe that this was happening, she didn't want this to go on and despite her doing her best to fight back and get free from her captors, they easily overpowered her. The situation seemed utterly hopeless.

As the man descended upon her, a shadow fell upon the entire group from above.

The head man turned to check what was happening, "What the…" he started saying before a knee impacted with his face, sending him to the ground. The man's other compatriots all turned to see what was happening before they were all met with flying kicks to the face, sending all of the men off of the girl and into the walls and ground around them.

MHA

Leon thanked The Lord above that he found the girl in time. If he had been just a few seconds later, then the young girl would have suffered a fate that was worse then death. After he kicked all the men away, quickly took off his hoodie and wrapped it around the girl's shoulders to cover up and give her a bit more modesty.

"Please, please don't hurt me." She said quietly with her entire body shaking. Leon gently lifted her up and picked her up in his arms princess style. He moved her over to an area of the alley where none of the men were and set her down. He pulled his hoodie over her body a bit tighter and gently brushed some of the long, light pink hair from her face to reveal her lovely face that held four, slanted, compound eyes that were a beautiful dark color and no visible pupils giving her a doe eyes appearance. Her lips had a small gash on the side and a decent sized shiner was growing around her right set of eyes and her cheek looking slight swollen.

"Shh, just relax. No one is going to hurt you anymore," he said as kindly as he could while the spider girl looked at him, "I have already called the police and they are on their way. You'll be back home with your family sooner than you think. But I need you to stay here while I take care of the guys who tried to hurt you. So just wait a few seconds, okay?" he said as the girl nodded slowly but the tight grip that she had on his arm told him that she was still incredibly terrified.

"I promise you, I'm gonna get you out of this." He said. The spider girl looked directly into Leon's eyes. The soft gaze he gave her calmed her nerves a small degree and she reluctantly let him go. Leon nodded and placed a hand on her head, giving her a small pat. She seemed to be okay with that. He then stood back up and moved over to the center of the alley where the five men were getting back to their feet.

"What the hell?! This ain't none of your business you damn brat!" one of the men shouted as he rushed Leon with a raised fist. Leon tuned his head slightly as the first man charged at him, Leon spun on his feet and struck out with a spinning back kick to his stomach making him double over. Leon followed up with a flying knee to his face, knocking him out. The other four men stood shocked at the amount of strength Leon had and were now more wary about how they were going to approach the young man.

Leon cracked his neck before glaring at the rest of the men, "Kyo wa, Teme-tachi no sadame wa, koko de owari da! (Today, your fates end)." Leon said as the men suddenly got very scared. Not from the words that he spoke but more from the aura that he gave off. Someone so young should not be able to give off so much killing intent but here was one and it terrified the men around him. One of the men behind Leon got flustered and rushed at him. As he neared Leon he swung with a punch but Leon ducked and spun out of the way and landed a strong side kick to the back of the man's knee bringing him down. Leon followed up with a knife hand to the throat and finished with an uppercut that knocked the man onto his back.

The final three men were now shaking in their shoes at the display of strength that Leon just showed. How the hell was he so strong? Leon didn't want to waste any more time, the young woman was his priority and he needed to get her to safety. Luckily, he didn't need to wait much longer as two of the men grabbed some metal pipes that were lying around and rushed at Leon, swinging their metal pipes at the young man who evaded the lazy strikes with ease. Leon landed some strong punches to his opponents' bodies and followed with multiple kicks to each of them before he moved to the side and kicked the knee of one of the men, breaking it. The man fell to the ground with a scream of pain while Leon jumped and struck out with a flying elbow to the second man knocking him out.

The man whose leg he broke fell unconscious when Leon spun on his feet and butterfly kicked the man in the face. The only one left was the head man who was sweating bullets after seeing all of his men on the ground. He needed to get away but Leon would have followed him so he could capture him and get him off the streets. The man's thoughts were interrupted when Leon made his way over to him to finish him off. As a last ditch effort, the man activated his Quirk and summoned a set of blades from between his knuckles and punched forward to stab the young man.

Leon leaned to the side to avoid the strike and grabbed onto the man's outstretched wrist and landed an upward elbow to the man's elbow and broke his arm. Leon let go of the man's arm and let him cradle it while he screamed in pain. Leon moved forward and landed several fast punches to the man's torso along with three powerful elbows to his jaw and a strong jab to his solar plexus. The man fell to his knees clutching his chest as pain flooded into his entire body, Leon finished up his assault by hitting the man with a knee strike to his jaw knocking him out.

With all the men down for the count, Leon went back over to the girl who was still sitting in the corner where he left her but it looked like she watched him fight. Leon gave the girl a kind smile as he crouched down to her eye level, "How are you feeling?" he asked.

The girl opened her mouth to answer but nothing came out, instead, each of her eyes started to flood with tears before he threw herself into Leon's arms and gripped his shirt. The spider girl released a torrent of tears started to fall from her eyes. Leon was knocked onto his back side as the girl cried, he leaned up slightly so he could hold her while she cried. He knew that she needed to let out all the fear and anxiety that had just happened to her, so he just let her cry.

The sound of whistling wind caught Leon's attention and he looked up to the sky to see a large and imposing figure sailing through the air before it landed a few feet away from him, creating a crater and dust could upon impact. Once the dust settled, Leon was able to get a good look at the figure and what he saw made his jaw drop. Standing taller than any other man Leon had seen before with blonde hair that had two large pieces of sticking up in a sort of V-style. He was incredibly muscular and dressed in a simple t-shirt and cargo pants with heavy boots.

Even though he had never seen him in person, Leon knew from the numerous videos that his friends back in Calgary watched who this man in front of him was. This was the Number One Hero, The Symbol of Peace, All Might.

"Fear not citizens, for I am…here." All Might bellowed in a hearty voice before he calmed down and saw the five men on the ground and the spider girl crying into Leon's chest.

The young Canadian man chuckled, "Pleasure to see you sir but I think you're a little late."

As Leon had said, the police were informed of what had happened and along with them were two different ambulances in case anyone needed medical attention. They arrived rather quickly after All Might did but unfortunately along with them, came several members of the media arrived hoping to get a good scoop of anything that caught their interest. And nothing caught their interest more than The Number One Hero.

Reporters and cameramen immediately started shoving and pushing each other to try and get a word from All Might and from the look on his face, he wasn't all that okay with the attention he was getting. What made things worse was that Leon was trying to get to the police and ambulances to get some help for the young girl that he helped but the media was in the way. All Might did his best to get them to move along with the other heroes that had arrived but the media were relentless an did not move.

Leon had had enough, "HEY VULTURES," he shouted getting everyone's attention, "THERE IS A GIRL HERE THAT NEEDS MEDICAL ATTENTION! DO YOU THINK YOU COULD PUT YOUR DAMN CAMERAS DOWN FOR TEN SECONDS SO SHE CAN GET THE HELP SHE NEEDS!"

Everyone around Leon was shocked by his outburst and annoyance that everyone immediately shut up. Leon held his arm around the spider girl and led her over to the nearest ambulance, the crowd parting for him as he walked passed them. No one daring to try and stop the young man to get a statement or anything like that.

Leon had made it to the ambulance and handed off the girl to the first responders. She seemed reluctant to let go of him but he stayed right next to her on the outside of the ambulance while she got checked over. He then came to realize just how odd he looked. By giving the girl his hoodie, his chest and arms were revealed by the tight, black tank top that he wore underneath. His muscular body was on display for all to see and with the crowd that was around him he suddenly found himself being bashful. He never really did like showing off all his skin in public.

Luckily, All Might was there to keep the eyes off of him, "Now, now, the young man is right. The young lady has gone through a major ordeal and her safety and wellbeing is the most important thing at the moment."

"All Might, please tell us how you were able to save the young woman?" One reporter asked getting all eyes on the Pro Hero once more while completely ignoring what he was trying to say.

All Might's smile grew as he crossed his arms, "I actually didn't save the young lady. The real hero today was that young man over there." He said pointing to Leon. The eyes of the media and the other Pro Heroes turned to Leon who stood with his arms crossed, he didn't really care about any of the attention that he was getting, and he really didn't care about the fame that came along with being a hero. He just wanted to help people, plain and simple.

All Might went over to Leon, but he looked over to the spider girl, "Young Lady, I am incredibly sorry. I am supposed to be the Symbol of Peace and help the people wherever I can but in wasn't able to get to you in time and you nearly suffered a terrible fate. And for that I am truly sorry." He said bowing deeply.

The girl seemed too shocked at the hero's apology to even acknowledge what he was saying or even respond. She turned to Leon try and get some help from him and lucky for her, he was able to save her pride.

Leon cleared his throat to get All Might's attention, "All Might please raise your head," he said causing the hero to straighten back up, "You are a Pro Hero. You give hope and peace to so many people in not only this country but all around the world, but you are still only human. Even with all the strength you possess you can't be everywhere at once. Yes, this girl almost suffered something terrible and yes, there really should have been more heroes around this place so something like this could have been prevented but stressing over something that's already happened isn't going to get anyone anywhere. The girl is safe, the criminals have been arrested and are off the streets, and now a family will be reunited. At the end of the day, isn't the safety of the people the most important thing?" he said. The words that Leon spoke seemed to resonate with the Pro and he smiled at him.

All Might placed a large hand on Leon's shoulder, "You are absolutely right young man. The safety of the people is the most important thing for a hero to do. You have a very good head on your shoulders for someone so young, if you ever decide to become a hero, I have faith that you are going to be someone great." He said holding his hand out.

Leon was speechless, never in his life could he have imagined that The Number One Hero in Japan would be giving him this kind of encouragement. If All Might believed that he could become a hero than maybe he had a shot.

Leon shook the hero's hand with a smile on his face, "Thank you sir. That means a lot to me. Um, if you don't mind me asking. How exactly did you know where to find us?" he asked.

The question seemed to make All Might panic slightly but he quickly caught himself with his words, "Well, as cliche as this may sound, I was actually just in the area. I had heard a scream a few blocks back and my instincts took over and I rushed over here. Thankfully you got here before I did, or things could have gone very bad." He said.

Leon nodded, "Can't argue with that sir."

"Mio! Mio! Mio, sweetheart where are you?!" a female voice said through the crowd. The spider girl shot to her feet and looked to the source of the voice and her eyes began to get watery once more.

"Mama! Papa!" she shouted before rushing through the crowd and joined with a man and woman that were coming her way. The woman had ivory toned skin, bright green eyes, and long pink hair that seemed to have flower petals studded throughout. The man with her had a very heavy set build, darker tanned skin, shirt black hair and six sets of spider eyes on his face with a small set of fangs poking out through the bottom of his jaw.

'Must be her parents,' Leon thought, 'And her name is Mio. That's a pretty name.'

"Oh Mio, sweetie! We saw what was happening on the news and we rushed over here as fast as we could! Are you okay?" her mother asked while she and Mio's father hugged their daughter.

Mio nodded her head, "I'm okay. I'm still really shaken up from what happened but that man over there was able to save me." She said pointing to Leon.

Her father raised an eyebrow, "You mean All Might?" he asked.

Mio shook her head, "No All Might came later. I mean that man over there in the tank top."

Leon inclined his head to the family of three before Mio's father came up to Leon and bared down on him with the kind of pressure that only a father could emit.

"You're the one who saved my daughter?" he asked.

Leon swallowed but stood strong, "I was just in the right place at the right time sir." He said humbly.

Mio's father bared down on Leon with every single one of his eyes before he wrapped Leon in a bone crushing hug that took the air out of him.

"Thank you, thank you so much! You saved my daughter from a fate worse then death and brought down some serious punishment on the ones who hurt her. I cannot thank you enough." He said gratefully as he tightened his hold on Leon. Leon would have responded but the man's hold on him was so tight that he wasn't able to answer him or even speak at all.

All Might let off another hearty chuckle, "Now that is one grateful father but sir, I should probably inform you that the young man is going blue."

Mio's father looked at Leon and saw the color drain from his face before he released him, "Oh my, sorry about that. I got a little over-emotional." He said rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment.

Leon shook his body and rolled his shoulders and back, "Wow, did not expect that. Don't worry about it sir. We all get a little emotional when it comes to the people we care about." He said before he went over to Mio.

"So you're name is Mio?" he asked.

Mio nodded her head, "Yes that's right. Kumohana Mio." She said with her mother right beside her.

Leon smiled, "Well Mio, I'm very happy that you are safe. I know that after today it's going to be very difficult to move on but don't be afraid to lean on your friends and family that care about you. They will be a great support system for you." He said.

Mio suddenly looked downtrodden, and she pulled the hoodie around her shoulders closer to her body, "But what if I can't move on? What if all I feel is despair?" she said quietly as her parents comforted her.

Leon gave the girl a small smile and reached out to her chin and tilted her head up so he could look her in the eye or eyes in her case, "If that ever happens, then think of me. If you feel yourself falling deeper and deeper into despair, then I will be the hope that you need."

Leon's words hit Mio deeply and made her heart race and a small blush creep onto her face. The words of the boy who saved her life made her feel special and for a moment she had forgotten the terror of what almost happened to her and the only thing on her mind was Leon.

Leon gave her small pat on the head before he turned to leave but before he could get away, he was cornered by a very nosy female reporter.

"Excuse me, can you tell us how you are feeling right now?" the reporter asked as the cameraman pushed his camera into Leon's face.

Leon gave off a groan of annoyance and pushed the camera back, "All I'm feeling right now is annoyed. I hate cameras." He said.

The reporter was persistent if anything and cornered Leon again, "Can you at least give us your name? All Might himself was impressed by your skills, if you plan on being a hero that would give the people the chance to see what you are like."

Leon thought about it and considered what the reporter was saying and as much as he hated to admit it, she did have a point. When he becomes a hero he would have to tell people more about him if he wanted the people to feel comfortable around him and to trust him when he came around.

Leon sighed and turned to the camera, "Fine, the least I can give you is my name," he said turning to the camera, "My name is Leon Silva, I came all the way from Canada to attend UA so that I can be a hero. Not the kind of hero that is in the limelight or a hero that cares about fame or fortune. I don't even care about being in the Top Ten, let alone the Number One hero. I want to be the kind of hero that will protect the people anywhere he goes, regardless of the country or city he's in. I want to be the kind of hero that can honor my family and live up to the words that my father and all the men in my family lived by."

The reporter pressed, "And what words are those?"

Leon crossed his arms, "I stand with those who stand with me, I fight for those who can't fight for themselves, and for those that commit injustice in this world; I will bring the wrath of the seven seas upon you." He said with a certain fire in his eyes that shook many of the people around him. After his words were spoken, Leon turned on his heels and walked back to the Hanaoka household. His first two days in Japan were more than he ever expected but his journey was just beginning.

And the world had no idea just how amazing this young man would be.
