It was around midnight when Natsuki Subaru; an average seventeen-year-old teenager decided to go to a store to find something to eat.
As the door opened, the ringing of bells welcomed him.
Subaru walked around the store for a bit before finally stopping himself. He wanted to go straight to the food counter, but a manga with an interesting cover caught his eyes.
He looked it over while sighing, "This is where they suck you in." After turning a few more pages, he got bored and put it back where he took it from.
He then returned to the food counter and took out something from the back of the shelf. "Nah, not natto." He put it back in and took out a different one. He looked it over in his hand, then with a satisfied nod he headed for the counter.
"That'll be 363 yen," the man in a blue cap said as he held out his hand for the money.
Subaru checked his wallet for the required coins. "Oh, a grooved-edge ten," he said to himself before handing all of it to the brown-haired man.
He left the store without saying a word, the silver bells once again ringing as he opened the door.
For a few moments, he stood in front of the road when suddenly something rapidly moved in his eyesight.
"What was that?" he asked himself as he cleaned his eyes.
"Hmm, I guess anyone would be tired after gaming for 3 days straight," he sighed.
Another wave of this unknown feeling went through him, this time as he blinked, he found himself in a world filled with emptiness and darkness. He could move, but not speak or talk. It was as if he was underwater, yet he could breathe without an issue.
Out of nowhere, a dark silhouette appeared before him, dark, shadowy hands extending from her own two hands.
Once the pair of the black hands caught Subaru, he was shaking at the unexpected impact, yet soon after he was drowning in their warmth. He couldn't move, but he didn't want to anyway.
The silhouette of what seemed to be a girl with long hair was so close to him now that he could feel her breath.
"I love you," she whispered as her mouth moved for his own, yet their lips never met as Subaru suddenly found himself in a completely another place.
The sudden change from darkness to a day slightly blinded Subaru's sight.
"Ugh, what was that? I couldn't move at all and now everything's… so… bright." He almost couldn't finish his sentence as his sight finally adapted to the brightness. Subaru looked around and couldn't believe what he saw.
Houses made out of wood and stone, people dressed in noble clothes or on the other hand dressed in ragged clothes. But what caught Subaru's eyes the most were the various different beasts just walking around.
Some sort of huge lizard dragging a carriage behind itself, "Is that supposed to be a different version of a horse?" Subaru asked, no one was around him so the people that heard his loud murmur looked at him in confusion.
But not just these lizards, there were also humans with animal features such as women with dog ears, cat ears, or a totally different race looking like a wolf walking on two feet, using his other two to hold a cup.
After observing his surroundings for a few minutes and affirming his position, Subaru finally spoke. "There's no mistaking it. I'M IN A DIFFERENT WORLD!" he screamed, this time getting the attention of everyone around him.
A blonde-haired girl was running around the rooftops, her speed couldn't be matched even by some Olympic athletes.
She was wearing a leather vest too small for her frail-looking body, and black leggings which were torn on her left leg.
The girl suddenly stopped and started looking down below. She looked over a girl with silver hair holding a purse.
It seemed that the girl with torn clothes was prepared to jump down on her and take the purse, but the silver-haired girl with white robes was always on alert.
That was until she heard a shout. "I'M IN A DIFFERENT WORLD!" As the voice resounded around the street, the silver-haired girl looked to where it came from.
"Hah! A perfect chance!" the blonde-haired girl smirked as she used the stranger's distraction to cleanly jump down the roof and snatch the unknowing girl's purse.
"Yoink!" the blond-haired girl laughed as she grasped it in her two hands.
"Hey! That's mine!" The poor silver-haired girl tried running after the thief, but her speed was unmatched.
Getting desperate with no option left, the girl raised her hand. Suddenly, about ten ice spikes surrounded her entire arm before flying towards the thief.
One by one, the thief avoided all of the spikes before running up a wall and getting on the rooftops once again.
"Oh no! I'll lose her!" she heaved as she started trying to follow the thief's path.
The black-haired boy continued his journey in this world, his lips curved into a smile.
"From the looks of it, this world seems to be set in a medieval era. I even saw a real knight!" Subaru beamed in a good mood, nothing could change it.
He continued walking around until he found an entire street with a bunch of stands.
"Whoah, food stands? This world keeps getting better and better!" Subaru whispered so he wouldn't bring unnecessary attention to himself again.
He stopped in front of a stand with countless fruits.
"Hello boy, that's some weird clothes you have. Are you travelling by any chance?" he asked without malice, just pure curiosity.
Subaru ignored him as he pointed at the red, round fruit. "Sir, what are those?" he inquired with a confused look.
"Hmm? Those are appas. I thought they were everywhere," the green-haired seller raised his eyebrow as he answered the boy's question.
"A-ah, yeah… It was a dumb question," Subaru scratched his head from embarrassment.
"Doesn't matter. But will you buy anything, boy?"
Subaru nodded while grabbing his wallet. I wonder if my money works here. He thought as he showed the muscly man the few coins he had left.
"That money doesn't work here, which means you're flat broke, huh? Get out of here, don't interfere with my business you broke kid!" the man shouted while gritting his teeth at Subaru.
The black-haired boy shook from the ear-piercing voice of the seller. He quickly ran away before he caused any more trouble.
Subaru decided to look around some more. He tried to enter the toilet - he accidentally entered the women's because he couldn't read the signs.
He tried to enter a busy house; it wasn't a house, it was a pub which was only for demi-humans. He got pushed out of the door, accidentally tripping and falling down into what seemed to be a river.
Before almost drowning, he managed to pull himself out.
Now he sat on a wooden box, all of his clothes and things wet.
He quickly took down his hoodie so he wouldn't catch a cold, squirting all of the water out of it.
"Is this how it's supposed to be? Where did my protagonist status go? I don't even have an Excalibur or something," he cried out.
Suddenly his entire being shook as an unknown power surged through his entire being, making him fall down from the box he sat on.
"What the…" he groaned while looking around in confusion, his eyes widened as the power's name got engraved into his mind.
"The Authority of Lust?"
The black-haired boy was confused, when all of that power crashed into him, it felt pretty strong but he didn't feel anything out of the ordinary.
He was about to leave the alleyway he wound up in to test this Authority, but three ugly-looking men stood in his path.
"Authority of Lust? What is this guy talking about?"
"Haha, he thinks lust is an authority or whatever? We found ourselves a crazy one."
"Shut up you two, let me deal with this weirdo."
One of them approached him, he seemed like their leader.
"Give us everything you have and maaa~ybe we'll let you go. How about that?" he asked, not expecting an answer.
"Thieves, tsk," Subaru clicked his tongue as he looked at the three hooligans that blocked his exit.
"Listen, I don't even have anything that valuable on me, just let me go," Subaru tried pleading.
"Yeah yeah, the same old excuses. I can see you have some pretty clothes on yourself," the man approached him closer and closer.
"Fine, I don't know what this does, but you leave me no choice," Subaru said, gritting his teeth from the anger that welled up inside him.
"Huh?" The thief trio looked between themselves in confusion.
"What do y-" his question was interrupted as Subaru's shout resounded in the alleyway.
"Authority of Lust!" he shouted as he pointed his arm at the thieves, expecting them to vanish or something, yet nothing happened.
After a few seconds of awkward silence, Subaru lowered his arm and swallowed as he looked at the thieves.
Fear was visible in their eyes, but after that, they burst into laughter.
"AAHAHAHAH!"
"Did you… Did you see that? He shouted "AUTHORITY OF LUST" as if it was a chant for magic, AHAHAHAH,"
"Hahah, man, this guy is out of his mind,"
"Let's just get this over with," said the smallest of them as he approached Subaru.
He was about to jump at him, but he was interrupted by a voice.
"Move it, move it!" It was a blonde-haired girl.
"You guys! Out of my way!" she shouted to warn them, but as soon as her eyes spotted Subaru, she stopped in her tracks.
"Whoah," her mouth was wide open as she eyed Subaru from the top to bottom.
"Please, help me… These guys want to rob me!" Subaru pleaded as he looked at the blonde-haired girl, he really liked her red eyes. Such color of eyes was unseen in his old world.
"S-Sorry, I'd love to get to know you better, but I have a job to do, my future depends on it," she explained.
Subaru was about to speak, but she interrupted him, "but if you survive, I'll come take a look at you," she said as she jumped up the wall.
"Wait! Where are you going?!" he asked while shouting.
"To the loot house in the Slums!" she responded. "Huh, I'm not sure why I said that," she added as she ran away.
Subaru stared at the wall where the girl disappeared, then he looked back at the trio of thieves.
"I guess you won't let me go even after this?" he asked with a bitter tone.
"No. In fact, it rained on our parade and made things worse." One of them spat as they answered Subaru's question.
He aimed his fist at Subaru's face, prepared to strike him.
"That's enough!" A silver bell-like voice rang out in the alleyway.
The hooligan's fist froze in the air as the voice interrupted him.
Subaru looked behind the thief holding him down to see a silver-haired girl with an arm pointing at them.
"Kindly return what you stole and I'll forget this," she said as she looked at the thieves, but once her eyes fell on Subaru, she was speechless as their eyes connected.
She shook her head. "Scratch that. Leave that boy alone and I won't hurt you," she said with a threatening aura.
"G-Guys, let's just go,"
"Huh? A lone girl threatening us? Why do you think we should just go? It's three on one since we don't count this piss boy," he laughed.
"She has silver hair. And look at her ears!" he whispered, but loud enough that even Subaru heard him.
As Subaru looked at her visage, he noticed that her ears were… pointy?
"An-An elf with silver hair?" the thief gasped.
The girl shook her head, "I'm not an elf, I'm just a half of that. But I have nothing to do with the Witch!" she exclaimed.
"Fuck this, we're running away!" he shouted as he dropped Subaru on the ground, quickly leaving the alleyway.
As the silver-haired girl looked at the thieves leaving one by one, she quickly ran towards Subaru.
"A-Are you okay? They didn't hurt you or anything?" she asked as she put her face so close that the boy could feel her warm breath on his skin, awakening something in his teenage heart.
"N-No, but aren't you a bit close?" he asked. He had a clear view of her as she was almost touching his face with her own. Her amethyst eyes were mesmerizing as if they were a beautiful galaxy filled with bright stars.
"A-Ah, sorry," she suddenly pulled back, her face red. She helped Subaru stand up nonetheless.
"By the way, I came here because something dear to me was stolen, did you see someone suspicious?" she asked.
"Hmm, well it couldn't be those three, they were too dumb to steal something from a strong and beautiful girl like as you," Subaru commented. As the silver-haired girl heard his compliment, her face reddened even more, now looking like a tomato.
"He…He called me beautiful, ehehe," she breathed hard as she took in the boy's words.
"But anyway, it could've been that girl that suddenly appeared and ran away," Subaru put fingers on his chin as if thinking, then he continued, "was the thief a small blonde-haired girl with torn leggings?" Subaru asked as he remembered the girl's eye-piercing appearance.
"Yes! Yes, that's her!" the girl suddenly lunged at him, both of them falling to the ground.
"W-Woah," Subaru breathed out as he hit the ground. Is the Authority of Lust's power working? He thought.
But before he could enjoy the moment more, the sudden pain hit him. "Please get off, you're crushing me!" Subaru said with a red face, the girl's soft body was comfortable and warm, but the ground under him was hard and cold.
"Ah, sorry!" the girl cried out as she got off him and helped him stand up.
"But anyway, do you know where that thief could've gone to? She stole something very important to me and I need to get it back!" she asked.
Subaru looked at her beautiful face. "Now that you're mentioning it, she did say that she's going to the loot house in the Slums, but it seemed she said it by accident so I don't know if it's believable," Subaru answered.
"Well, I believe the choice you make is the best one, I leave this to you," she said with a warm smile.
"Oh, by the way, my name is Emilia, just Emilia," she introduced herself.
Subaru, mesmerized by her beauty, answered while stuttering. "M-My name is Natsuki Subaru. Pleased to meet you!"
"And my name is Puck!" Suddenly a talking cat came out of nowhere, scaring the black-haired boy.
"Whaah!"
"Puck! You're scaring Subaru, stop it!" she scolded the cat that suddenly showed up out of nowhere.
"L-Lia, you're suddenly acting really weird, what happened?" The cat, his name being Puck, was confused as the girl he was with just a minute ago suddenly started acting strange.
He noticed Subaru holding Emilia's hand, which gave him a bad impression.
"You! What did you do to my daughter?!" he gritted his teeth as he flew towards the black-haired boy, prepared to kill him on the spot.
"I-I don't know," Subaru whimpered.
"Puck! Immediately stop and return to the crystal, or else!" Emilia shouted.
"But-"
"No buts. Go," she said.
Puck's ears were downcast as if trying to make the girl feel bad for her decision. Moments later, he disappeared into thin air.
Subaru put his hand on the girl's shoulder. "Thank you, I'd be a goner if it wasn't for you,"
The girl's hateful gaze disappeared off of her face as the cat finally disappeared. As she turned around to face Subaru, her face got red. "I-It's nothing, but we should go to the Slums, I need that insignia back," she said as she grabbed Subaru's hand and guided him towards the exit of the alleyway.
They walked for some time now, still not out of the main city.
Out of nowhere, a red-haired man in a white uniform appeared in front of Subaru. The black-haired boy didn't notice him right away and so he collided with him.
"Argh," he grunted as he shook his head, then his eyes fell on the man and his flawless, beautiful red hair swaying in the air.
"My apologies, I need to watch where I'm going," the man he bumped into apologized with such a calm manner that it scared Subaru.
Subaru looked at the man, speechless. It was only Emilia's voice that got him out of his trance.
"Reinhard?" the girl said as she recognized the man's face.
Subaru only now realized what was going on.
"A-Ah, no worries. I should be the one to apologize, I wasn't paying attention. But Emilia-tan, you know him?" Subaru asked as he was surprised.
"Mhm, but only from the books I've read," she explained.
Subaru's visage wore a surprised look when he heard that Emilia read about the man in front of them.
"Hmm, you must be pretty famous when books are written about you," he grinned as he gave the red-haired man his hand. "My name is Natsuki Subaru by the way. It's nice to meet you, sir knight, I presume?" Subaru introduced himself while trying to guess the man's profession as he noticed the big, amazing-looking sword sheathed to his hip.
He took his hand with a smile. "That would be right, Subaru. I am a knight though my reputation precedes me. My name is Reinhard van Astrea, it's also nice to meet you." He shook his hand with newfound enthusiasm as he looked into Subaru's brown eyes.
"Wow, his nice guy index is off the charts," Subaru said as he turned to Emilia. After seeing Reinhard, he couldn't help but let that comment slide off his tongue.
Reinhard also looked at the silver-haired girl. When the realization hit her, she also raised her hand, shaking it with Reinhard's.
"I apologize. My name is Emilia… Just Emilia. It's also nice to meet you," she said with an awkward smile.
"Subaru and Emilia," he repeated the names with a smile, then he continued, "what brings you two into this part of town?" he asked.
The black-haired boy opened his mouth, but Emilia put a hand on his shoulder to stop him.
"A very important item of mine was stolen. The culprit seems to be in the Slums at a place called 'the loot house'. We're trying to get there now," she explained.
"Hmm, a thief from the Slums," he repeated the girl's words.
"From your clothes, it seems that you're a noble, Emilia-sama." The smile left his face as he continued, "if you really plan on going to the Slums, you should be careful as there were rumors of a nobleman getting murdered there." Those words shook both Subaru and Emilia. The black-haired boy wanted to get the insignia back, yet he didn't know how much it meant for the girl. He'd help her, but if it meant dying then he would consider changing his mind. He still needed to enjoy his dream life in another world and dying wasn't part of the plan.
"Fortunately, I'm off duty today, if you want, I could accompany you?" he asked, looking into the girl's amethyst eyes.
Emilia simply shook her head, saying "thank you for your offer, but we can handle this. Besides, I don't want to bother you with my boring stuff," she quietly said, but Reinhard's inhuman hearing caught what she said.
"I understand. If that's so then be careful, Emilia-sama, Subaru," he warmly smiled at the pair. Emilia grabbed Subaru's sleeve and softly dragged him away. But the black-haired boy looked back at Reinhard with a worried look. Reinhard's eyes widened as he looked at Subaru's expression. He knew the boy felt fear of what's to come.
When the pair finally left his sight, he decided to investigate. "The loot house, huh?" he whispered to himself.
The pair walked down a gravel path, wooden and deteriorated houses all around them.
"This looks terrible," Subaru whispered while looking around himself.
Emilia didn't say anything, she just kept holding Subaru's hand and walking.
"Uhmm, Emilia-tan?" Subaru called out to her.
The girl looked at him confused. "Tan? What does that mean?" she asked.
Subaru just grinned, "it's a sign of affection from where I come from, it means I like you," Subaru explained.
"L-Like me?" she stuttered out, her face once again bright red.
"Anyway, I wanted to say that we should probably split up if we want to find the loot house faster," Subaru said.
"Split… up?" Emilia repeated his words.
The black-haired boy nodded while saying: "We know what we need to find, but not where to find it. I think we should split up for a few minutes, ask around and then we meet up," he finished.
"Ah, mhm, you're right," she agreed.
"I'll go that way then," she pointed at a diverging path.
"Be careful, Emilia-tan."
Subaru nodded before leaving the silver-haired half-elf.
He was walking around and asking various people for some time now, but they either quickly left or didn't know. Subaru was now walking empty-handed and quite desperate as he really wanted to help the girl that saved him in the alleyway.
He was about to walk up to a house and knock on the door, but suddenly someone walked into him from an alleyway. He just hoped it wasn't the same three idiots that tried to rob him earlier.
"Oh, dear." A beautiful voice called out to Subaru. The boy opened his eyes to see who he accidentally crashed into. Before him was a black-haired beauty with revealing clothes showing her entire stomach and most of her breasts. Her black hair was in a braid, yet it was still so long as to be up to the bottom of her stomach.
"I'm sorry, are you alright?" the girl asked, her voice was quite high-pitched, but she sounded cute nonetheless.
"Y-Yeah, sorry to suddenly bump into you. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going," Subaru apologized as he looked into her beautiful purple eyes, fighting his urge to look somewhere else.
"It seems that you're having quite a problem with your eyes," the girl said as she noticed his gaze shifting awkwardly up and down her face.
"N-No. Sorry, I should probably head back," he awkwardly stuttered out as he tried retiring back, but the girl grasped his hand, pinning him to a wall with her superior strength.
"Oh? But we haven't even introduced ourselves," she licked her lips.
The girl put her red lips to Subaru's ear, while soothingly introducing herself. "My name is Elsa Granhiert, I hope we'll have a good time, young man." As she said her name, she licked her lips again, this time with a seductive move of her lower body.
"M-My name is Natsuki Subaru, but I should really go, my friend is waiting for me," Subaru tried slipping out of her grasp, but the girl still kept a firm hold of him.
"You don't have to fight this, just let us enjoy ourselves, your friend can wait," she cooed as she put her lips closer to his cheek.
"E-Elsa, I don't w-want this." The truth was, Subaru was happy that he finally got transported into another world with this power. He's helping a cute silver-haired girl find an insignia and now this hot black-haired girl is all over him.
"Oh? You say you don't want this, yet you're excited down there," she said as she grasped his member through the black pants, slowly caressing it.
"I-" Subaru was about to say something, but he was interrupted by Elsa's warm tongue invading his mouth.
"~Mmmh." The black-haired woman moaned into Subaru's mouth as her tongue danced around Subaru's
She still felt Subaru struggling, and so she put his hands on her breasts.
"A-Ah," Subaru breathed as he held the two large warm orbs.
"They're good, ~huh?" Elsa teasingly asked.
The boy couldn't hold back and so he nodded with an open mouth.
Elsa put her mouth to his ear again, softly whispering, "you're the first one I let touch them. You should be glad, Subaru," she giggled as she opened her clothes, revealing even more of her stomach and her breasts.
Subaru was oozing as he looked at the girl's beautiful breasts, just for him.
He was about to grope them in their entirety, but Elsa stopped his hands with her superior strength.
"Nu-uh. First, let me take care of your problem, young man," Elsa cooed as she looked at Subaru's bulge.
He didn't even think about it for a moment before his teenage feelings answered.
"F-Fine."
"Oh? You're more open than before," Elsa said.
"I guess seeing these made you go mad?" she laughed as she started slowly spinning around to show all of her beautiful body to Subaru.
Subaru was speechless as he looked at the girl.
Elsa, understanding what Subaru wanted, didn't waste a single second.
"We~ll then, why don't we go ahead?" she asserted as she pulled down Subaru's pants, his throbbing member showing in its entirety.
"~Oh?" Elsa couldn't help but let that cute sound escape her mouth as she gazed at his penis. It was about average, but Elsa didn't care about that. She loved everything the boy had to offer.
She crouched, her head on the same level as Subaru's member.
Before lunging at him, she softly kissed the top of his penis' head to excite him even more. Then, she put his entire length into her mouth.
"~Mhhm." The moans escaping Elsa's lips were turning on Subaru even more. He got a taste of her tongue back when she kissed him, but having his entire member inside her warm mouth was a divine feeling.
Once in a while, even Subaru couldn't help but make slight moans. Elsa was a beautiful girl, giving him a blowjob right away was the Isekai Dream he always wanted.
The girl's tongue danced around Subaru's penis, giving him the greatest pleasure he ever experienced. He enjoyed it so much that his teenage heart couldn't take it, and soon-
"E-Elsa, I'm gonna-"
"I know," she answered, sucking on him even harder than before.
"~A-Ahh, I'm cumming!" Elsa's tactic was a success. As soon as she started sucking, Subaru couldn't hold himself back from pure bliss as he grabbed the girl's head, forcing her to deep throat his penis. Semen came out of his member, flooding Elsa's entire mouth. There was so much of it that it even overflowed, spraying on her face and hands.
Elsa pulled his penis out of her mouth, saliva connected to it. The black-haired girl was frozen from the warm surprise. "Oh? So much came out," her cheeks painted deep red as she looked at the boy.
She stood up, looking deep into Subaru's eyes while she licked around her lips and hands, swallowing all of the semen. "Thank you for the meal," she chirped.
Subaru kept staring at the girl with bright red cheeks which didn't go unnoticed by Elsa.
"As much as I enjoyed this, I need to go finish a job I was ordered to do. But after that we can enjoy ourselves further, Subaru," she proclaimed as she quickly walked away from the boy.
Subaru looked at the girl's retreating back. He quickly pulled up his pants before someone noticed him and slowly started walking back to the place he was supposed to meet Emilia at.
"Elsa…" Subaru whispered as his thoughts filled with her beautiful face, body, and the pleasure she gave him.
Subaru finally met with the silver-haired girl.
"Subaru!" she shouted as her eyes fell on him.
She jumped at him, hugging him with her superior elven strength.
"S-Sorry Emilia-tan but I didn't find a-anything," Subaru stuttered out. While he didn't find anything, he certainly found an interesting girl.
"Ah, don't worry, I found out where the loot house is!" she exclaimed with a confident look.
"I-I want you to head pat me for a good job," she closed her eyes, expecting Subaru to touch her head.
Subaru laughed at the girl, putting his hand on her hair. "Yes, yes, Emilia-tan did a good job," he smiled.
The girl beamed with happiness as she let herself be spoiled by Subaru.
"We should probably head to the loot house though. Lead the way, Emilia-tan," he stated.
The half-elf nodded and guided him through the Slums.
Emilia put her hand on the door and knocked three times.
For a few seconds, no one opened the door, but then loud footsteps resounded inside the loot house.
The door suddenly burst open, revealing a big, muscly giant.
"What do 'yer want without a password, huh?" he shouted as he looked at the pair.
"We believe something that was stolen from me is here. A blonde-haired girl about this size should have it," Emilia said as she showed the girl's approximate size with her hand.
The giant looked at Emilia. "Do you by any chance mean Felt?" he asked. Once the girl's name came into the conversation, he calmed himself down.
"Felt?" Both Subaru and Emilia repeated the name.
"I mean, she fits your description. And if she stole something and you want to buy it back, you're in the right place," he explained as he pointed at a pair of chairs so they could sit down.
Emilia raised her eyebrow in confusion. "Wait, buy it back? I don't plan on buying something that was mine to begin with!" she said with bewilderment.
"Anyway, Felt should be waiting for her client in the back, I'll go fetch her," the giant ignored the girl as he walked away from the counter.
"Client? Don't tell me she even managed to find a person who'll buy MY insignia," Emilia puffed up her cheeks.
Subaru tried to calm the half-elf down with his sweet words. "Now, now. Everything will be alright, Emilia-tan," he said with a warm smile.
A few seconds later, the blonde-haired girl finally showed up.
"It's you from before!" the girl; Felt exclaimed.
"Y-Yeah," Subaru awkwardly scratched his head.
"Sorry I couldn't help you, I was pretty busy, you know."
Then Felt's eyes fell on the silver-haired girl next to Subaru.
"Hey! What is SHE doing here?!" she shouted.
Emilia stood up from her chair, "I'm here for the insignia you stole from me!" She then approached the blonde-haired girl, but she quickly hid behind the back of the big man.
"I'm sorry, it's just business," he said with a sad look.
She was about to raise her hand to attack him with magic, but Subaru's shout brought her back from her trance.
"Emilia-tan! Watch out!" Subaru shouted as he noticed a dark silhouette with a sharp knife in hand.
The silhouette threw a knife at the silver-haired girl, but thanks to Subaru's warning, she easily dodged.
Now, both Emilia and the big man protecting Felt were on alert, seemingly on the same team.
"Oh? It'd be better if you wouldn't warn my target, Subaru." Coming out of the shadows was the black-haired girl Subaru knew too well.
"Elsa?" Subaru said the girl's name as he got a weird feeling about all of this. Why was the girl he met earlier this day suddenly throwing knives at Emilia?
Emilia was now looking at the black-haired girl, anger filling her eyes.
"Subaru, you know her?" she asked as her eyebrow twitched.
"A-Ah, yeah. I met her when we searched for the loot house's location," Subaru said while awkwardly scratching his head.
The blonde-haired girl wasn't having any of it when her voice resounded inside the building.
"Hey! I thought you were supposed to just buy the insignia, not try killing everyone here! That knife you threw almost hit me if it wasn't for that guy's heads up!" she shouted so Elsa could properly hear her.
"But how can we continue our deal if the item's original owner is here?" Elsa asked with a smirk.
Felt just stood there speechless. Just now she realized… that she made a deal with a monster.
Emilia's eyes fluttered for a second, but then their resolve returned. She prepared herself to cast magic. She could do this without Puck.
"El Huma!" she shouted as countless ice spikes appeared around her. Soon, they lunged at Elsa.
The black-haired girl had no problem dodging the magic with her speed, and if one or more outran her, she simply slashed them with the knife she held.
Felt was observing the entire fight with an open mouth, the big man beside her. Walls engulfed with ice as the silver-haired girl couldn't land a single hit, all of her ice spikes hitting the walls instead.
"Old Man Rom… We need to help her!" Felt said as she firmly grasped a small knife in her hand.
"I know. Stay away, Felt. I don't want to see you get hurt," the man; Old Man Rom said as he held his bat, waiting for an opening to jump into the battle and help the girl in white robes.
Soon, he saw the opening he wanted and so he jumped into the battle. Elsa didn't see him as her back was turned to him, giving all of her focus to the half-elf.
"Hyaargh!" he shouted as he rushed at the girl with his bat prepared, but in one single moment, Elsa's purple eyes shined with killing intent. She jumped at his bat while licking her lips in satisfaction.
"What the…" His fear-filled voice made Elsa's already great mood even higher.
"You're so strong I could do this," she said before kicking his face with her right foot, his eye leaving his socket while blood sprayed out of it.
"AARGH!" he groaned from the pain. He fell onto his back with his bat kicked away. Elsa deemed him a simple inconvenience that wouldn't hurt her again.
She was about to turn back to Emilia, but a sole voice stopped her.
"You bitch!" It was the blonde-haired girl Felt. She quickly lunged at Elsa, easily surprising her with the speed she showed.
"Oh, the blessing of wind. You are loved by this world." She didn't want to kill her yet, so she turned her knife around, prepared to punch her face with the back of her weapon, but a certain boy interrupted her.
"Elsa! Please don't hurt her!" he shouted so Elsa could hear him.
At first her thoughts were frozen at what to do, but the love for Subaru affected her final choice.
"Tsk," she clicked her tongue as she put her weapon down, instead delivering a hard kick to the girl's stomach. Felt rolled on the ground before hitting a chair, knocking her out.
She turned around to face Subaru and Emilia, two problems dealt with, only one silver problem remained.
"Don't worry, Subaru. She'll be alright," she calmed the boy down so he wouldn't think she was a complete monster.
"Now I just have to deal with her and we can resume our fun," she whispered under her breath, assuming a battle stance.
She was about to throw one of her knives and quickly grab another, but her actions were interrupted by the door opening and a well-known voice speaking.
"That's enough!" It was a man with beautiful red hair.
All fighting stopped in his presence while gazing at him with happiness.
"Reinhard!" Subaru shouted, glad that he came. "So you got the message?" he asked with a chuckle.
The red-haired man nodded, "indeed, Subaru. Your message was understood. Now you don't have to worry." He turned to the silver-haired half-elf, then continued, "Emilia-sama, I'll take it from here, please rest for a bit and heal those two," he pointed at the giant's bloody body and at the unconscious girl.
"Mhm, will do," she quickly ran to the pair that got the most beating in this fight.
Then Reinhard turned to the point of his interest.
"Black hair, out of place clothes, and curved knives originating from Gusteko. You must be Elsa Granhiert, the bowel hunter." With just a quick glance, Reinhard could tell who he's about to fight.
When Subaru heard all of that, fear struck him. "W-Wait, 'bowel hunter'? What the hell, Elsa!?" he shouted at the girl who wore a satisfied smile.
"I'll explain everything later, but now, I shall enjoy this dance, Sword Saint Reinhard van Astrea," she licked her lips while preparing her knives.
Reinhard just stood there, looking at the girl.
"Why don't you pull that sword out?" she asked as she noticed his sword never leaving its sheath.
Reinhard looked at the sheath while caressing it. "This sword will only allow itself to be pulled out if it deems the opponent worthy. That's not the case here, hence why I won't use it," he explained.
"Oh? I feel awfully underestimated, but that doesn't matter." Now she ran even faster than when she fought Emilia, trying to get to the unmoving Sword Saint as soon as possible.
She pointed the knife at his stomach, but it didn't connect as Reinhard raised his leg, delivering a strong kick to her side.
Then he moved to a nearby iron sword lying on the ground.
"I shall fight with this, is that alright?" he asked as he looked the sword over.
"Yes, it's wonderful, wonderful," she said as she lunged at him.
As the fight broke out, Emilia with Subaru took care of the pair on the ground.
"He'll be alright. That girl should wake up soon, both of them will be alright," she tried to calm down Subaru's hard breathing, as he insulted himself for not defending the young girl.
"Reinhard seems to be holding himself back," Subaru observed the fight. He noticed the Sword Saint just standing around while Elsa had the freedom of moving around, attacking from every direction.
"Mhm, he can't fight fully because of me using Spirit Arts to heal these two. When Reinhard fights seriously, all the mana turns to him. If that was to happen here, I would be unable to use magic," she explained as she bit her lip.
"There, it's done. You can give Reinhard the signal," she sighed.
Subaru stood up, looking at the Sword Saint's back.
"Reinhard! I'm not sure what it means, but do your thing!" he shouted.
The red-haired man briefly turned around to look at Subaru, nodding.
"What are you going to show me, Sword Saint?" This time it was Elsa's turn to be surprised. She felt underestimated, but it was also she who underestimated Reinhard himself.
"The Swordplay of the Astrea Family." The sword in his hands started being filled with the mana from the atmosphere, shining in a bright-blue manner.
The black-haired girl's lips curved into a wide smile, preparing herself for what might be the best fight of her life. "Elsa Granhiert, the bowel hunter."
"Reinhard van Astrea, the Sword Saint," the red-haired gentleman also gave his full title, preparing to strike the woman.
As soon as Reinhard's sword hit Elsa's knives, the entire room was engulfed in a blue light, a moment later half of the loot house exploded.
The surroundings were covered in smoke. After it dissipated, Subaru cheered on the amazing show of power. "Wow… That was awesome!" Subaru couldn't help but let his enthusiasm out. The entire fight was dangerous, but Reinhard's sword attacks… just everything was cool.
The red-haired knight simply laughed at Subaru's comment. "I'm glad you liked it," he said before looking at the sword he used in the fight. It was completely destroyed, the iron blade's color not even close to what it used to be.
"I'm sorry for using you too much," Reinhard whispered to the sword before it completely fell off, turning into dust, "sleep well."
He returned to Emilia and Subaru.
"Well then, that was an interesting night," he commented as his gaze fell on the bright moon visible from a hole in the loot house's roof.
"Uuh." A soft groan came out of someone's mouth, all eyes falling down on the person it escaped from.
"W-What happened?" It was the blonde-haired girl; Felt.
Subaru quickly rushed to the girl. "Don't worry, it's over. Everything is gonna be fine," he cooed sweet words, trying to calm the girl down.
Her eyes fell on the giant lying next to her. "OLD MAN ROM!" Her scream resounded in the room as she rushed to him. Blood was all around him, even his eye was gone. Small tears ran down her cheeks as she imagined the worst. That was until a voice sounding like silver bells interjected.
"Don't worry, Felt. I healed him. He'll be fine after a good rest," she explained with a smile to calm down the little girl.
"Y-You…" she stuttered out.
"This all happened because I stole that stupid insignia from you," she admitted. Old Man Rom… she wouldn't know what she'd do without him.
She started searching her pocket, soon taking out the insignia.
"That's…" Reinhard was speechless as he saw it. It shone a deep-red color.
He quickly came to the girl, grasping her arm firmly so she wouldn't escape easily.
"H-Hey! What are you doing!" Felt shouted as she tried getting out of his hands.
"What's your name? Surname? Age?" he hurled question after question.
Felt, seeing no way out of this except for answering him, gave up on trying to escape.
"My name's Felt. I've got nothing as fancy as a surname, and I-I think I'm fifteen."
Emilia looked into the red-haired man's eyes. "Reinhard, if this is about the insignia, it's alright, I forgave her,"
"Miss Emilia, stealing an insignia is no small crime, but when looking at the crime appearing before me, ignoring this would be worse than a mere theft," he explained, all fun left the place as his voice was painted with seriousness.
"Reinhard… At least let her hand go, look at her face!" Subaru pointed this out as Felt's face turned red from the pain.
"Ah, apologies,"
"Tsk, what does this even mean?" she ignored him, instead turning the conversation to a more useful thing, that being the insignia shining.
"It's simple, according to the Dragon tablets, if someone is worthy of being this country's ruler, the insignia will shine with bright-red light," Reinhard explained.
"Does… Does that mean I'll become the queen?" she asked, her eyes shining as all of the great and dumb ideas suddenly filled her mind.
"Not exactly." He just had to bring her mood down.
"It's proof of you being eligible to become the next ruler. Only five can be chosen, Emilia-sama is one and you're the last one, Felt-sama," he said with a bow.
"Stick your dumb bowing somewhere. What will become of me and Old Man Rom?"
"I can take you to my mansion, it's not big, but certainly good enough, Felt-sama," he answered as he stopped bowing.
"Tsk, I don't want to go with you. Why don't big sis…Emilia and big bro Subaru take me to their home?" she inquired with a smug.
"W-Well, I don't really have anywhere to go myse-" Subaru wanted to answer honestly, but Emilia put a finger on his lips.
"We'd be glad to have you, and you, Subaru. You're gonna live with me," she winked at the red-faced boy.
Reinhard looked at the trio's back and forth, scratching his head in denial.
"I'm sorry, but I don't think that's possible." Suddenly all three of them turned to the red-haired man, and so he continued.
"Emilia-sama is already being sponsored by Margrave Roswaal, I don't think he can sponsor both of you," he delivered the disappointing news.
"What?" Felt asked in bewilderment.
"Reinhard, I'm sure it'll be fine." Now it was Subaru's time to bring the blonde-haired girl's mood up.
"I mean, it can be possible to live in the same mansion, no?" he asked as he turned around to the two girls.
"Mhm, mhm," Felt simply nodded with a smile, her hands on her hips.
"If it's what you want, I have no objections, Subaru," Emilia answered affectionately.
Reinhard deeply sighed at the trio. "Seriously… what am I going to do with you," he smiled as well, "I'll inform the council about Felt's candidacy." He was about to leave, but he was stopped by Felt's voice.
"Hey Rein, if you want to help me so much, at least take care of Old Man Rom… He's the only family I have," she said, her eyes downcast. She thought it'd be better if they parted ways for a while, both of them would enjoy living in luxury, but the best thing would be that they wouldn't have to fight hunger on daily basis.
"Certainly, Felt-sama," Reinhard obliged with a smile, taking the giant's body into his hands as if it was nothing. This was seriously the least he could do for the little princess.
He looked back at the trio. "Take care, Felt-sama, Emilia-sama, Subaru," But before he fully departed from the Slums, he stopped himself while gazing at the big, bright moon. "This might be the last night we can look at the moon peacefully."
"Got everything you need, Felt?" Subaru asked as he looked at the girl grabbing her knife, a coin pouch, and a set of pajamas that looked dear to her.
"Mhm, now I'm ready to go live with big bro and big sis. I'm sure it'll be interesting," she said while she laughed. She noticed right away how Emilia acted near Subaru, it was a blooming love. Felt was also affected, but instead of romantic love, she felt the need to protect her big bro Subaru at all cost.
"Alright then, go take your seat in the carriage, I just need to take care of something quickly," he said.
"Sure," she nodded while enthusiastically hopping her way out.
After watching the girl's back disappear, he breathed a sigh of relief.
"You can come out, Elsa."
The loot house's rubble moved out of the way, revealing a well-known person. "Oh? You saw me?" the black-haired girl jumped out of the shadows, appearing right next to Subaru.
"Yeah," he nodded.
"You've got some explaining to do… Why did Reinhard call you 'the bowel hunter'?" he inquired, a hint of fear was in him, yet for some reason he believed this girl wouldn't dare to hurt him, the opposite in fact.
"It's true," she sighed.
"I'm an assassin called the bowel hunter. Does that change your opinion about me?" she asked with a pout.
"Elsa… I think you should g-" he wanted to tell her to leave, but he was interrupted.
"Just so you know, I only kill bad people that deserve it," she said with a proud look.
Subaru looked at her with anger. "Only people that deserve it?" he repeated her words. "Then what about Old Man Rom? His entire eye is gone! He won't be able to see on it for the rest of his life!" he shouted, his anger getting the better of him.
Elsa wasn't fazed by Subaru's anger, in fact she found it cute. "Did you know," she started while getting interrupted with the boy's deep breath, "that Rom's real name is Valga Cromwell?" she asked.
"Huh?" Subaru was confused at the name. Valga Cromwell? What does this have to do with anything?
Elsa noticed that the name didn't sound like anything to Subaru, and so she continued, "he was one of the demi-human leaders during the decade-long demi-human war. Countless lives were lost during that era," she explained.
"B-But still, wasn't that a long time ago?" Subaru inquired with a guess.
Elsa continued with the shake of her head. "The war's consequences are seen to this day. Demi-humans are oppressed, a lot of them even becoming slaves. Even normal humans were affected, being sent into poverty. I didn't kill him because you didn't want that, but I still enjoyed kicking his eye out," she licked her lips, her face getting closer and closer to Subaru's with every moment.
"How… How do you know all this?" he questioned.
Elsa's visage was so close to his that he felt her warm breath on his face.
"I have my sources," she whispered before kissing him.
"~Mhm." As her tongue left Subaru's mouth, a string of saliva followed it.
"Elsa, I-"
"Subaru, are you coming?" The black-haired boy was interrupted by Felt's shout.
Elsa moved away, whispering. "We'll meet again, soon." She jumped up the rubble, disappearing into the night sky.
Subaru shook his head, answering the young girl. "Y-Yeah, coming!"
Leaving the loot house, he was welcomed by a dragon-drawn carriage. Emilia waved at him to join her, and so he obliged.
The black-haired boy sat next to Emilia while laughing at the pouting Felt.
Suddenly, a pink-haired girl poked her head into the back, looking directly at Subaru.
"Quiet it down, please. You're bothering the earth dragon," she said with a neutral tone.
The silver-haired girl's eyes widened. "Oh! I almost forgot, Subaru, this is Ram, she's a maid in the mansion. Ram, this is Subaru, my savior, and…" she stopped herself for a second, "my friend."
"Hey Ram, nice to meet you!" Subaru stood up, raising his arm for the maid.
"We better get going," she ignored him, "if we get a move on, we'll be home in the morning," Ram said as she sat back down, no one noticing her bright red cheeks.
"Idiot Barusu," she mumbled under her breath as she ordered the earth dragon to move.
