The morning had dawned clear and cold, not like the previous nights storm. The waves were calm and the sky without clouds. The ship was five leagues from her destination after many moons of traveling in the Narrow Sea. It was an older ship, with many scars from battles with pirates and enemy vessels, but was reliable compared to some newer ships on the market. The crew reflected the vessel, all veteran sailors and combatants, used to the many tribulations that the sea had offered.

After watching the crew perform their daily task, An older man walk down the lower decks as the ship swayed in the calm ocean. He was a tall man and broad frame with a deep tan from many years out at sea. He was of Northern Westorosi decent with dark hair and eyes and wore comfortable but durable clothing. His man's name was William Sharpp.

As Will walked into the lower decks, he thought of his ward of two years. The Company of the Rose paid good money for their services as the boy had them cross the Narrow Sea. At first, their job was to escort him across to Oldtown, but soon he became a bit of a protege for the crew with his ability to learn new skills like a fish to water. Soon they would travel to the many ports of Westeros from the Southwest of Oldtown to the Eastern ports of Kings Landing and Gulltown.

Many of these stops didn't result in much except for some documents here and there or just some supply runs. The boy would actually find young talent that had great potential or impeccable skill even if there were only three them.

"It always surprises me for his knack for finding young talent. He even got those maidens whose skills were a great help to the crew." he thought. All three of new additions pulled their own weight and performed tasks sometimes better than his crew. And were extremely loyal to his ward which surprised him as one of them is at least two years older than him.

Entering the living quarters of his young ward. It was simple in design, clean and organized with a multiple documents on the desk. His ward was studying intently a multitude of documents in a language he could not understand. He was a broad shouldered boy, long deep red hair that fell to his shoulders, and dark violet eyes. He was tall for his age, almost 5 feet 7 inches, and had a fair complexion. His bangs boxed his facial structure which made it more angular.

"The boy studies more than a Maester.", he muttered. He would call the boy weak if not for his broad build and skill with a sword. It was terrifying the many spars he would do with the crew. He saw the boy take down men twice his size and multiple people at the same time, often with his bare hands.

"Hello Captain… And I heard that," the young man said, not turning away from his book. "What brings you here this early in the morning?"

"Your impeccable hearing still surprises me to this day Naruto," he said. "… We are nearing White Harbor, it's time to pack up."

"It's that time already?" Naruto chuckled. "Are you trying to get rid of me so soon Captain? I thought were friends?"

"Can't wait. You've been a thorn in my side for many moons now."

"You wound me with your cruel words," Naruto said. "Is it because you're tired of losing in our gambling nights?"

"I know you cheated somehow!", he said.

"I have never cheated, you and others have attested to that," he said. "… Are they ready?"

"Been ready. They are waiting for their late leader," he said.

"Send them my apologies, I was having some trouble with deciphering some literature." He had poured time into many books of the Citadel for hours but one in particular he was having trouble deciphering. "I'll be up in a few minutes."

"As you wish… My lord," Will said as he left.

"I'm not a lord Will… Yet."

White Harbor, one of the major port cities in the north containing the New Castle, the seat of House Manderly. Located south of Winterfell, it is the largest settlement north of the Neck, but the smallest among the five major cities of Westeros. White Harbor is the north's primary trade port, located in the mouth of the White Knife and provides opportunities for trade further north.

"You're late," a young woman said. She was a slender but toned woman, a little older than Naruto. Her dark brown hair fell down to her mid back and had dark sharp eyes. She had a deep tannish complexion form years in Dorne. She was adorned with light armor that was hidden by a few layers of clothing as she was not used to the cold in the North. This was Ollena Sand, a bastard of Dornish minor lord.

"Not enough layers Ollena?" Naruto asked. Clearly amused.

"I will never understand you northerners. How can you stay in the cold for so long?"

"You'll have to ask them yourself," he said. "It's my first time in the North since my birth… It feels like home though."

Naruto wore black gambeson with matching shirt, pants, and shoes. There was a red spiral circle insignia on the center of the back of the gambeson. His standard longsword strapped on his hip. His red hair was pulled back into a ponytail except for his bangs. He had light backpack that seems lighter than all the items that he's collected on his journey.

"Packing a little light boy?" William asked.

"No. I have everything I need in this backpack."

"What about the rest?"

"What do you mean?"

"The multitude of books and scrolls that you've gathered the past two years?"

"I don't know what you mean?"

"James! Check his quarters!" Will said.

"Aye!"

After a few minutes, the sailor came back confused. "There's nothing there sir!"

"How did yo-"

"A smart man never reveals his secrets," Naruto said. "Until it is absolutely necessary."

"Fine. Keep your secrets. Now get off my boat."

"Thank you kind sir… For everything." Naruto held out his hand one last time for the old sailor.

"Aye. It's been a trip young lad." William said, shaking his hand of young protege. "May the Old Gods guide you in your endeavors."

"You too my old friend. May the Old Gods guide you."

Naruto gave the man a hug, before taking his crew off the ship and into the city. The city lived up to its name for it's many snow white buildings, marble adorn most of the monuments and rich buildings. The people were didn't look at them with wary eyes like other ports in the North as they were used to the many different merchants and travelers.

"So where to first?" Ollera asked.

"First, we are looking for a place to stay… and no not a brothel," Naruto stated.

"Fine."

"Mya, take Gendry to find a blacksmith? It's been a while since he's tested his skill."

"C'mon little brother. Let's get you back in top shape," Mya said warmly.

Mya Stone, former server of House Royce in the Vale, was the first born bastard daughter of Robert Baratheon and a common woman he bed while fostering in the Vale. She is tall, strapping young woman, with coal-black hair cut short and deep blue eyes. She is the same age has Naruto if not a little older. She dressed in a masculine manner compared to the other women with black clothing and multiple furs as she was used to the cool temperature of mountains of the Vale.

"Alright… sister," Gendry said.

He was still nervous compared to his sister. Naruto had found him a few years after his mother had died and the blacksmith took him under his wing. Naruto took him under his wing after seeing his potential with smithing. He had no clue about his parentage until his sister arrived while they were in the Vale. One look and she saw the resemblance, saying "Hello little brother." He had black hair and blue eyes similar to his sister, broad shoulders for the tender age of 13. He wore clothing similar to his sister.

"Meet us back Fishfoot Yard, the one with the large statue by sunset."

"Aye," Mya said as she and Gendry diverged from the group.

"Now. Let's explore shall we?" Naruto asked.

"Let's," Ollera smiled.

Naruto sat next to the table of the candlelit room, reading into the many text that he copied from the Citadel. He spent a moon secretly copying all the text from the maesters from their personal notes to the forbidden sections that the highest can enter. He has spent the last two years reading them intermittentally. Most are notes of accumulated knowledge but as he delved deeper, it became clearer that the Maesters had their own plots in the Game.

"Seems like some of the grey rats have been plotting in secret," he thought. This was… troubling as they had the full trust of most lords in Westeros. "… I'll need to put them into the equation, maybe start my own Citadel once I establish myself."

Naruto sighed as he closed the book as he started to reminisce of his departure from Pentos. The Company of the Rose just finished a contract in the city. Naruto was packing his things as he waited for the ship they hired to pick him up.

"Are you sure you want to do this so early?" an gruff voice called behind him.

The man was a elder man, easily in his 60s. He was a tall and well-built man with fair skin. He had waist-length, spiky white hair that was tie into a pony tail, with two shoulder-length bangs framing his face. He wore silver armor with the insignia of the rose, his sword was strapped to his left side. Naruto looked back at the man that raised him and he looked to as father… Even if he was a major pervert.

"I need to," Naruto said. "I have no resources, no networks, no money, and no allies in Westeros. If I am to restore my house, I must leave now."

"Or you could stay here and gain more experience?" the man suggested.

"I have experience." Naruto retorted.

"Yes you do, we saw to that," he said. "We taught you everything you know from fighting, leadership, and politics to science and even magic. Also we taught you-"

"Humbleness?" Naruto asked.

"Pleasures of the flesh," he chuckled.

"If I remember correctly, you taught me that last one," Naruto said. "With a prostitute no less. Tsunade still hasn't forgiven you about that one."

"I know kid. I know. I still getting lashes…"

"So what's the problem?"

"…Westeros is entire different beast from Essos," he said. "Yes we taught you politics, espionage, networking, but not all of it is going to work in Westeros. It has its own pitfalls and traps that can land you to your death. I promised your mother to take care of you."

"…All the more important to leave now while I'm young," he said. "It would help in the future to establish this early. If I'm to make my mother and house proud, I must do this."

"She's already proud of you. Never forget that. She smiled brightly and held you tight even as she was dying."

Naruto paused.

"Sorry, it's just hard to see another son go even if not in blood." the man muttered. He had seen much death in his life and didn't want to see his ward be one of them.

"I know it's tough… Jiraiya sensei," Naruto said as he hugged the man. "I don't want to leave… But I must."

"I know… son." Jiraiya cried.

Naruto smiled and grabbed his pack.

"Before you go, this is for you." Jiraiya said.

Jiraiya gives him a medium sized scroll. It was red scroll with the insignia of the House of Uzumaki.

"What is it?"

"Your inheritance."

"Thank you… father. May the Old Gods guide you," he said before departing with a single tear.

"Kushina…" Jiraiya smiled thinly. "I hope you are watching your son with the old gods."

Jiraiya Rose, Lord Paramount of the Company of the Rose, saw his adopted son for the last time that day.

Naruto was interrupted from his thoughts as he heard a knock on the door.

"Yes?"

"Naruto? It's me Mya," she said.

Naruto sighed as he opened the door, knowing what was to come next.

"Yes Mya?"

The older girl smiled lustfully at the young man as she sauntered her way to his bed, plopping down on to it.

"Are you drunk?"

"Aye. Me and Ollena had a bit of contest downstairs," she said drunkenly.

"And where is Ollena?"

"Heading to my room."

"With Gendry?"

Mya nodded leisurely.

"No. He's too young for that."

Naruto walked out of the room for a few minutes before returning with an equally drunk Ollena Sand. She was furious that she didn't get a taste of "Stormlander" blood.

"Gods," Naruto sighed. "Women and their lust. No you can't have Gendry. He's too young."

"You lost yours at his age," Ollena questioned.

"Yes I did. And I was addicted until I was be- I mean I learned to control myself. I don't want Gendry on that path yet, especially with his Baratheon blood running through his veins."

"You're no fun."

"Fun? I'll teach you fun… Strip."

Both girls giggled at the command, stripping each other quickly.

Naruto sighed as he tapped the door and a faint glow appeared around the room that went unnoticed by the drunken women.

"There," he thought. "Now we can be as loud as possible without disturbing the rest of the patrons."

"And better get some Milk of Poppy in the morning," he muttered as he noticed both women already naked. He let it out a lustful growl, almost wolf like in nature.

"Ladies. Get ready for a long night."
