"Shouto!" Izuku cheered. Taking a step towards his friend, but stopping when he noticed a screaming blur come flying towards him and the two villains behind him.
"DIE!" Shouted a very familiar voice, as Bakugou came out of nowhere and tackled Kurogiri to the ground. Izuku, realizing that the warp villain could no longer stop his escape, quickly made a plan. Sigaraki was near Izuku, not close enough for him to pull off the exact same maneuver he had used earlier, but still…
Without any more hesitation needed, Izuku leapt towards the disintegration man, whose back was turned to focus on his pinned companion. The teen delivered a swift blow to the back of the man's knees, effectively knocking him down. Then another blow to the man's head to disorientate. Then Izuku was sprinting towards Shouto who had been focusing on aiding All Might.
As soon as the dual haired boy noticed Izuku's dash, he quickly created a path of Ice in which Izuku could slide on faster. Izuku landed in the awaiting arms of Shouto, and was pulled into a desperate hug.
For a brief moment Izuku soaked in in the grounding presence of his friend, but quickly tore himself away when All Might coughed loudly as a punch from the Nomu landed on the hero's stomach.
Izuku sucked in a breath when he realized the Nomu had somehow escaped Shouto's ice and had gone back to fighting. The two were, yet again, locked in an even fight.
As All Might barely managed to knock the Nomu back, he shouted, "Thank you for your help, students, but I'll take it from here! The creature may have shock absorption, but that means there's a limit to how much it can take! If it can withstand me at 100 percent, then I'll have to go 1000 percent!"
Izuku heard the hero's words, but the man couldn't truly do that. That was not how math or real life worked! As the hero began to repeatedly hit the creature harder and faster, Izuku could make out a small stream of blood running from the hero's mouth. That was like a nail in the coffin.
Izuku was moving before he could think. His feet carried him towards the number two hero, a panicked shout of "IZUKU!?" lost in the wind as he ran. Now for all that Izuku may be dumb, he wasn't stupid. So instead of clinging onto All Might's leg or just standing near him, Izuku dove into the bush nearest All Might and drew all the power of his quirk to his chest and then pushed. The green light that was Izuku's power rushed out of the bush and encircled All Might, making the man glow a slight green. The hero's punches became invisible to the eye, and each one cracked the ground beneath the Nomu.
"PLUS ULTRA!" All Might shouted, as he delivered a final blow, launching the creature through the roof and into the sky. Soon the beast was nothing more than a black speck, and then disappearing from sight.
"NO!" Shigaraki screamed from the other end of the plaza. The villain began to talk, but Izuku couldn't quite make out the words as he tried to stand. A wave of dizziness hit him, but before he could topple over a cold arm caught him. Izuku looked up to see a bleary outline of Shouto's face. A gun shot rang through the building followed by a scream of pain, but Izuku's world was quickly fading, and he couldn't pinpoint where it came from.
"Izuku!" Shouto looked worried, "what did you just do.."
All he could manage in response was: "Oh Shit," before everything went black.
