this chapter took forever to write... mainly bc I've been working on it off and on while working on another story... also been recording/editing for my YouTube channel. i deviated a little. although i will deviate completely from the manga... but that's a while off. as I've said before, i have this whole story planned out.
i think i should rewrite the description, but i don't know what to say. any suggestions?
also, fallow me on Instagram inudigifan201 for story updates... and the occasional pic of my cat. also, i game on my youtube (mostly sims 4, but i play other games every now and then) same username.
if ya'll have any questions feel free to ask and i'll do a q&A each chapter (that sounds like fun).
hope yall enjoy!

Ch, 12. Princess of Heroes
The rest of the tests went by and Izuku hid her injury well.
Her score wasn't the lowest… she actually came in at 17. Nowhere near the top. She figured as much. She was behind everyone else in practice with her quirk anyway. But, she was also surprised she placed so high.
"I was lying about expelling someone." Aizawa dispelled the results.
A short purple haired boy with balls on his head sighed in relief. He must have been number 20.
"I wanted to bring out the best in all of you, so it was a rational deception." Aizawa smiled.
He then turned and began to walk away. "After lunch we'll go over class stuff." With that, the bell rang.
While the others went to lunch, she snuck off to the nurse's office.
Recovery Girl sat at a desk and scanned information from her computer.
"Hello?" Izuku waved nervously.
Recovery Girl looked up at her. "Ah, Miss Yagi." She seemed annoyed. "What brings you to my office?"
Izuku held up her hand. "I think I have a hairline fracture."
Without saying another word Recovery Girl extended her lips and kissed her forehead.
Izuku's hand instantly felt better, but she became sleepy all of a sudden.
"Healing takes energy dear." She noticed Izuku yawn. "Hurt yourself too much and you'll run out of energy to stay alive."
"I'll keep that in mind." Another yawn escaped Izuku's lips. Her eyes widened. "Wait I could die?"
"Be careful dear, and go get some lunch." Recovery Girl pointed at the door.
"Yes ma'am." Izuku stood up and gave her a small bow. She then quickly made her way out of the office and to the cafeteria.
She grabbed some food and paid and looked around for a place to sit.
"Izuchan!" Ochako waved her down. "We saved you a seat!"
Izuku smiled and made her way over to the table. It was odd, but nice, having people save her a spot and not having to eat alone in a corner or on the roof.
"Thanks Ochan!" She found the seat in question.
"No problem." Ochako smiled wide and went back to her previous conversation with Iida.
Izuku looked around the table. It sat herself, Ochako to her left, Momo to her right, Iida sat in front of Ochako, Shoto was in front of Momo although he seemed displeased, and the other green haired girl in their class sat on the other side of herself.
Izuku gave her a friendly smile. "I'm sorry, I haven't caught your name yet."
She smiled warmly back at her. "I'm Tsuyu Asui, but you can call me Tsu. Kero."
Izuku nodded. "I'm Izuku Midoriya, but recently I've gotten the nickname Izuchan."
"Are you one of the pro heroes' kids? Kero." Tsu tilted her head.
Izuku nodded as she took a bite of her food. She chewed and swallowed so she could speak. "My dad."
"Who is he? Have we heard of him?" Ochako abandoned her previous conversation.
"Well he, um… yes, but it's a secret. I'm not even using his last name. I'm using my mom's maiden name." Izuku blushed. Well, it was true. "I want to make it on my own, without his influence."
"So you want to become a hero to spite your father?" Shoto spoke up with a shocked expression on his face. "Is he a terrible father?"
She raised an eyebrow, but quickly remembered who his dad was. She waved it off. "Oh no, my dad is great. Dad supports my decision to do things on my own." She sensed some tension between Shoto and his dad, but didn't want to bring it up because it was probably a sore subject. "Plus, he's worried about people, villains mainly, finding out about me and mom and hurting us to get to him." Also true.
"So that's why you took the entrance exam when you could have easily gotten in on just your dad's recommendation alone." Momo seemed deep in thought.
"Yep." Izuku smiled.
"How big is her dad?" Ochako looked dazed.
"Top five." Shoto picked at his food.
Ochako looked back at Izuku who only nodded.
"Top Five?" Iida almost did a spit take.
Izuku blushed and tried to make herself seem smaller. Why was she embarrassed all of a sudden? She had the coolest dad ever.
Momo smiled and chirped in. "She's practically royalty. A princess… A Princess of Heroes." She then gave Shoto an evil grin. "And Todoroki is A Prince."
Izuku blushed even more.
Shoto gave a small smug grin to Izuku as he took a sip of his tea that he had cooled down with his right hand. "Perhaps you're right."
Ochako's smile faded.
"Ochan?" Izuku looked her over, noticing her tray was practically empty. She knew she came late to lunch, but everyone else still had quite a bit of food.
"Hm?" Ochako met her gaze.
Izuku raised an eyebrow. Her features then softened as she picked up her bowl of katsudon. "I got too much food, mind sharing with me? I don't think I can eat it all before we have to go back to class."
"Sure." She shrugged.
While smiling, Izuku dumped at least half of the bowl onto her plate. If not more.
Ochako laughed nervously, but began to eat. She quickly devoured the food with a smile.
Izuku hummed to herself as she ate what was left on her tray.
She didn't want to embarrass her new friend, but she could sense something was up. And what kind of hero would Izuku be if she didn't help those in need right in front of her?
