Chapter 7: A race Against Time
Kira could barely stand her hands shaking as she held onto Bailey. She was scared and afraid. She wasn't going to give up on finding Connor. Kira kept walking into the streets not knowing someone was following her. Bailey uses her powers to send him flying across the street into oncoming traffic.
"I gotta get you safe, we're almost there. Kira told Bailey as Kira cut through the cemetery
1200 miles from Reefside as she gets the keys from her hands. Kira had passed out again while holding Bailey. Bailey had appeared into the Dino Lab as Ethan jumps to get his sister. Bailey went to laughing and squeezing Ethan's jaws as they disappeared leaving a stunned room full of people. Haley had started it tracking Ethan's movement
Haley signs as the screen had turned 3D and they could see Ethan running up to this huge castle house as the camera zoomed in on Kira lying helpless on the floor. Ethan ran to his mom.
"Mom! Mom! Ethan says as he touches her head she is burning up. Bailey put her hands on Ethan and her mom and orb them out to the room. Bailey went giggling and crawling when she saw Haley. Haley pick up her God daughter as Ethan puts Kira on the table and the machine. Ethan kept looking at Bailey as she jumped from Haley arms to her big brother's arms.
"Wow you gotta stop doing that baby sis. Uncle Jason is Bailey powerful like mom? " Ethan says as Bailey rests her head on Ethan's chest listening to his heartbeat and she is fast asleep with her thumb and her mouth.
"Wow! I think her powers could be all three witch, slayer and whitelighter. Kira is a Sage, slayer, Witch and Whitelghter. Meaning she could have all powers let alone Grandpa powers."Jason says as Ethan looks at Bailey and Kira.
"I bet growing up for mom was hard wasn't it?" Ethan says as he puts his sister to bed and comes back Raina was standing outside the door waiting on him as usual. The others had started watching Raina and Ethan closely more now especially with everything going on with Connor.
"Stop doing that?" Ethan says as Raina followed up behind him into the dino lab as she looks over at Kira hook up to all these machines follow by Tommy, Eric, and Coop as she signs heavy and runs off with tears and her eyes as she bumps into China. Ethan signs heavily as China looks up at her brother.
"Is she okay?" China says as she looks over at Kira her mind wanders off as she watches Ethan pray over his mom as former rangers have stayed quiet as he did so. China stood ⅚ brunette and with blue eyes and a splitting image of Kim, Tommy and Sean.
"I kind of snap at her but I didn't mean too sis its hard on me as it is without neither one of my parents plus my biology parents. Finding my mom on the ground like that scared me. Who will I have left if something should happen? It has always been mom, Randal, and I, just the three of us. Mom would pick me up on her motorcycle and scoop Randal up and we would go riding on her motorcycle. Randal is mom's oldest son. She adopted it from the state. I think it's one of the reasons mom doesn't practice medicine anymore. When mom worked late at the hospital we were at grams most of the time or at the hospital with mom. China I missed my mom. She's the only one that can help me with my wolf powers." Ethan says as he rests his head on China's shoulders. Kim had stayed quiet listening to Ethan and China talk followed by the rest and was surprised at what Ethan had said followed by China.
"Growing up wasn't easy on me neither bro, I'm a teenager with wolf powers and a mage. I'm scared I might fell as a Mage and as my parents' daughter. Can't believe techni rainbow is my biological father followed by Sean. I'm a product of a rape. My mom sacrificed a lot of things to keep me safe. Being a wolf isn't hard. However, Ethan does come with responsibility with your own pack. Being as your dad is my stepfather and an Alpha you have responsibilities as an Alpha son you are the leader and rightful air to your pack. You lead the best you know how Ethan and never let no one come into your kingdom because your big sister is going to be throwing them damn hands messing with my kin. I love you bro and mom will pull through. Mom says mom is a fighter like Aunt Trina and yellows knows how to fight their way back and pull through. Mom says the yellows are the rough and tough rangers and bro I agree with mom. Mom can kick some major ass. Did you see grams do a tornado kick? I was like when I get grams age I know I'm still kicking butt and my mom is standing behind me. Dude I'm so grounded it." China says as she knew she was going to get yelled at for her choice of words. China and Ethan turned around as Kim was standing there looking at them follow by Buffy and Piper.
"You're not grounded honey, just use a better choice of words. How are you holding up Ethan?" Kim says as she hugs the two of them as she sees Chins grabbing her head in pain followed by Ethan. Buffy went towards Ethan followed by Piper as China and Ethan stumbled backward. Piper watches as Buffy takes a fighting stand as the dark shadows try to take Kira but Bailey appears out of nowhere as she flicks a dark shadow here and there as the dark shadow goes towards Kira again. China uses her powers to knock him out. China blew dust from her hands as the two stood frozen. Ethan uses this time to vanquish him with a spell. It felt like more and more dark shadows were attacking them until a figure they never saw before except for Ethan gave him a nod as Ethan smiled at him.
"Up and Over." He told Ethan as Ethan and him flip up and over and use their powers to finish the rest of them off. Ethan looks at him and smiles.
"Mom is going to kill you bro." Ethan says as the two boys hug each other.
"I know but it's me and I like it mom said always be you right? Why didn't you send for me? I had a little visit from our sister. Who kept popping up everywhere. So I followed her from where she was and I landed here." Randall says as he walks over to Kira and sits down beside her holding her hand.
"I'm sorry Randall I thought I did and Uncle Connor is missing." Ethan says as Randall places his head on his mom's stomach.
"We can't lose her Ethan its just not fair." Randall says as the rest just stayed quiet.
"We won't!" Came Buffy as she looks to Angel who just walked in tire and sweaty as he shook his head no.
"No! Over my dead body Buffy I am not doing it and the answer is no." Angel yells as a yelling match starts between the two of them.
"Damn it Angel she's our daughter, our only daughter and she's dying. There's no way around it." Buffy says as Angel had started to walk off but was stopped by Buffy.
"Damn it Buffy I know this and so is Connor. I'm not going to turn my daughter into me an vampire with a soul." Angel says as Buffy yells back at Angel.
"That means you don't love our daughter." Buffy says as everyone stayed quiet and was scared because the glass had shattered when Angel raised his voice the first time. Buffy knew she had pushed him that far when she usher those words
"I can't believe you just said that to me of all people. Do you know what it's like to be Buffy? Do you? Do you know what its like to walk this Earth for 1900 years? I am a ruthless and dangerous vampire. I'm powerful when I'm evil, pure evil. I didn't get the name Angelus for nothing. I kill everything that I touch. Until one night I ran across a gypsy woman and her clan thought I killed her but I didn't and they cursed me with an soul of a gypsy man . I went into hiding and stayed there until one day a blonde named Buffy Summers walked into the Bronze and I knew the moment I laid eyes on you God turned my life around. That one moment of pure happiness Jason was born, followed by Connor and Eric, then my baby girl. In you tell me that I don't love my kids, my baby girl, my pumpkin belly, I will move Heaven and Earth for my children, even kill my own self for my children but I'll be damned if I turn them into me. The day you died ripped me apart and tore me up. All I want is you and my family. Never doubt the love I have for my children and grandchildren. China, Ethan, Bailey and Randall are mines, my blood, my responsibility until the day God takes me from this Earth." Angel says as he walks away as glass falls and Buffy runs to Kira crying her eyes out. Kira was on a breathing machine as she was hook up to all those machines. If they take her off life support she will die. Its the only thing keeping her alive is through the machine which still makes her the slayer.
"Buffy! You can't damage your marriage over something we have no control of and hear me out before chewing me out. I know I might be out of place but Kira is a close friend of mine and my ex wife. When I lost my twins at the age of seven my world shattered, Michael and I was at odds, the fights gotten worse, China was sick and the moment my daughter stop breathing and was taking from me was the moment I realize I had to fight for her. I lost everything, Tommy, Michael, my twins and China. Sean had kidnap China and it destroyed me. I started drinking, hurting myself, I was on the verge of committing suicide if it wasn't for a voice that said momma get up and find me, fight for me momma. I went into the hospital one night after almost trying to kill myself. This petite woman made up like Jennifer Lopez and had red hair, looked at me and my eyes and said I'm right here and I'm never going to leave you. Hang on God got you. I knew from that moment on this red head woman was going to be a part of my life forever. Do you want to know who that woman was?" Kim says as she looks over at Kira than Buffy as Buffy looks over at Kira.
"You saved my life that night by bringing something so beautiful into this world that only specializes in medicine but performs open heart surgery on me. Only a female doctor at the age and at the time can do that type of surgery. I was born with a hold and my heart. The doctors told my parents I wouldn't live to see 7 years old but I live to see 39 because of your daughter. I have a new heart because of her. If something happens to me and Michael my children go with Kira and Tommy. My will is made up and already signed and sealed. Don't lose what you already have because you may never know when God will call you home. Go find Angel. I will be here. Gotta talk Sage talk and baby names with Kira." Kim says as Buffy's eyes widen and hug Kim as she runs off to find Angel. Kim holds onto Kira's hand. It wasn't common for other Sages to share a bond with another Sage but Kim and Kira did and that's how their path crossed and Kim finding out that Kira was a Sage like her when she turned Danny into a Wolf. Kim knew the moment Kira and her met she had helped finding China. Jason and Billy sit down beside Kim as she jumps from their touch.
"Sorry!" They both said as Kim hugs the both of them.
"She's going to be okay. I know she will, she has so much Trini it scares me." Kim says as the two men chuckle at that statement.
"Jase remember Florida when Tommy did the drag race show for the local hospital?" Billy says as Jase went to laughing.
"I remember it like it was yesterday, I believe she was sixteen at that time and damn near put the whole motorcycle gang into the hospital for causing Tommy injury and running that little boy off the road. I swear if it wasn't for you, me and Zach pulling Kira up off old boy. He wouldn't be still alive until this day, did you know they only gave Henry Crenshaw 6 months of community service for that accident?" Jason says as Billy looks at him in shock.
"Wait what? You gotta be kidding me right? Trini is in a coma because of that damn idiot and he receive six months of community services for a hit and run, injury, and nearly killing a child?" Billy says as he takes off his glasses as Angel stayed quiet.
"Billy! Henry Crenshaw is a wealthy privilege man who can hire powerful lawyers who can get away with murder while innocent people like us and Trini that will losr and suffer. Trini didn't deserve neither Tommy nor that little boy. His mom called me the other day. Tim died, he didn't make it. Kira is going to have a fit when she gets better and I am for one who will not stop her." Jason says with his hand folded up across his chest his eyes looking dangerous. Billy slides slightly away from Jason followed by Kim.
"Not good Kira isn't here to calm him down Billy and Buffy went to look for Angel.. " Kim says as Jason stood up, his eyes turning dangerously evil by the minute.
"Ethan, call your grandma now!" Billy says as Jason grabs Billy by the neck choking him as he gasped for air. Jason threw Billy against the wall as he ran towards Kim but Kim was able to block his attack. Dark shadows again this time poured in into the Dino Lab as Kira rose from her body and stood by Jason her eyes pure evil followed by Jason. The two siblings started attacking everyone in sight. Kira charges at Kat, Kim and the other rangers, wiping them out one by one. Kim took a fighting stand once more as Kira and Kim fought. Kim couldn't hold ground as she stumbles backward. Kim stood shock at what she saw and froze her for a minute.
"Sarah!" Kim says as Buffy orbs into the Dino Lab followed by Angel and the charm ones.
"Oh my God, the source of all evil run!" Piper says as she waves her hands and the air and she blew Sarah/Kira away follow by Jason
Leo orbs Tommy, Coop, Eric and Kira's body away and a safe and sacred place was entrusted to them by the Warren family many years ago and infused with pure magic.
"You fools, all I needed was the daughter and son of the charmed ones who possessed the power of the Morphin Grid and now I have them you will never stop me. She's mine forever. "Sarah/Kira says as she uses her robe to vanish with Jason as Billy grabs a hold of Jason nailing him to the ground with his pants leg. Jason falls to the ground as Leo orbs Jason out into the sacred place. Billy rubbed his neck as everyone started to lick their wounds.
"What was that?" Aisha says as she looks at Billy checking him over as she cleans him up. He was hurt badly as Raina came in. She was able to heal most of them but passed out doing it.
"Raina!" Ethan yelled as he hops over to her as Randall was the first to catch her when she passed out.
"Raina is a very powerful healer/werewolf; she can only use some of her powers. We don't know what she is really." Kim says as she helps her to the table. Raina's hair had changed to a pretty silver color as she lay helpless on the table. Ethan had looked down at her. It was as if she was the image of a moon.
"Mum! Why do I feel drawn to her as if she's my protector and I am hers?" Ethan says as he didn't recognize he was holding her hand as he gasped when her hair turned to a pretty blue.
"I believe Raina is your Sage and Athena the Goddess of war and protector of the moon." Came Zordon. She bears the symbol of the moon cress and Triton; the same Triton almost from my people. You are a special young man if the Goddess of War presented it herself to you. It's very rare you will see Athena. It means you're more powerful than you think you are grandson." Zordon says as he motions for the others to follow him. Zordon took everyone further into the other layer of the Dino Lab.
"Zordon, where are you taking us?" Kat says as the rest literally roll their eyes at her.
"A sacred place only filled by pure magic for all God's creatures, a place where evil can't be, evil don't touch. My granddaughter has been working on this for years. Zordon says as he leads them through the tunnel as it lights up recognizing their body heat , names etc when Buffy was the last to enter. The door seal with her blood being powered by Angel's blood and Ethan as lights turned on Zordon stood into the circle as a 3d owl and the original Alpha stood into view. Aisha broke down and went to cry.
"Aiya, aiya,aiya welcome rangers to the new Dino Lab." Alpha 5 says.
