A/N: Hey everybody here is your other promised chapter this week! I don't know for sure if I will write another chapter in the coming weeks but I will try! Next day,

Luffy and the rest of the 104th training corps were outside of a small forest waiting for instruction from their instructor Keith Shadis.

"Alright fodder, it's time for each of you worthless nothings to become worth a damn!" Shadis suddenly shouted as this seemed to straighten out most of the trainees.

"And by that, I mean it's time for you to finally learn how to practically use your ODM gear against some dummy titans we have set up around this forest!" Shadis shouted as there were mixed reactions to the thought of practical training.

Some were excited at the thought of finally being able use ODM gear against titans, even if they were only dummies. Eren could fall into that category as it looked like he could hardly contain himself.

Others however were nervous out of their mind at the thought of training practically training. Daz and Armin could both fall into this category as they were both mentally preparing themselves for the sure to be long day ahead.

And then there are the people who feel starved and wonder why they are actually here. Luffy and Sasha of course fall under this category.

"Meat…" Sasha and Luffy both say simultaneously.

"LISTEN UP FODDER!" Shadis yelled as people were starting to get sidetracked.

"In this forest there are over 250 dummy titans! Any who rank top 5 in terms of killed titans will get a meal of their choosing!" As soon as Shadis said that 2 heads immediately turned at the sound of the word meal. And just as easily did they lose their motivation, they got their motivation back, tenfold.

Of course, not only Sasha and Luffy get motivated at the sound of a meal of their choosing, almost everyone was ecstatic at the thought of having a full meal in general, being that there were food shortages.

"Now that you livestock seem motivated, it's time to see if you truly have what it takes!" Shadis shouted.

"On start will you get go to kill as many titans as you can!" Shadis stated. This caused many of the participants to double check their ODM gear as it wouldn't be ideal if it malfunctioned.

"On your mark… Get ready… Start!" Shadis shouted and just like that everyone shot off to go find the dummy titans.

Eren's POV

Eren immediately shot off with his ODM gear as he was eager to find a titan to test his blades against. He knew he needed to completely cut the fake nape if he wanted his points to actually count.

He quickly found a titan dummy hiding behind a tree.

"Gottcha!" Eren yelled as he got ready to swing his blade at the titans neck. However, before he could, he saw a blur go right past him and into the titans nape. The fake head of the titan was almost completely cut off thanks to that blur.

Eren looked around to see if he could find what caused it and immediately was shocked to see Luffy on the branch of a tree where the blur was heading.

'T-There's no way! Something human caused that?!' Eren thought in awe as he saw Luffy immediately move onto the next one.

This seemed to knock Eren out of his stupor as he immediately went to look for other dummy titans.

10 minutes later,

Eren was quite proud of his performance thus far. He was sure he had cut more than 15 titans napes which was impressive considering how many of the trainees were there.

He still has a little bit more time left so he goes to a taller branch to see if he could scout a titan out from above. As he is looking he notices a titan relatively out in the open.

"Nice if I can get this one I-" Before he can even finish his sentence, he notices a blur similar to the one from before. However, unlike last time, he immediately recognizes the blur as Mikasa thanks to red scarf she is wearing.

'S-She was faster than Luffy! Though she didn't do nearly as much damage as Luffy did to his dummy titan. Wait what am I doing!' Eren smacked his cheeks. "I won't fall behind! I want to be the one to kill all the titans!" Eren shouted as he went to find other titans.

20 minutes later,

After the competition ended, Shadis had all of the trainees line up (similar to how it was done in the entrance ceremony) and was preparing to call up the names of who killed the most dummy titans.

"Listen up fodder!" Shadis yelled to get the trainee's attention. "I will now be announcing the five who killed the most dummy titans! When I call your name stand in front of everybody!" Shadis said.

"I will begin with who killed the most titans, and this goes to two people," Shadis said as this got a lot of people's attention. Eren however, was already sure who the two people were. He was just curious how many they both killed.

"First place belongs to Mikasa Ackerman and Luffy! Come on up!" Shadis commanded as Luffy practically skipped to the front as he was excited to get his meal. Many who didn't see or hear about Luffy in the evaluation exam were surprised to hear him of all people get first place.

"These two each killed a whopping 41 titans which is record for the training corps!" Shadis stated as many people froze at the number. Most of the people hardly got 1 or 2 and many didn't get any at all. So it was quite the surprise that TWO people got 41.

'41?! How the hell am I supposed to keep up with that!' Eren thought as he became depressed at the thought of not being able to kill all the titans.

However no one seemed as depressed and angry as Kiera as she seemed to just be sulking in the corner. 'How the hell is someone like that able to stand up top with someone like her? I still can't accept someone who doesn't acknowledge our current situation!' Kiera thought with anger as she thought back to her duel with the idiot yesterday.

'I still can't believe he beat me so easily' Kiera thought as she seemed to go back to sulking with the memory.

"Alright now, quiet down!" Shadis ordered. "Third place belongs to Annie Leonhart! Come on up to the front!" Shadis announced. This placement was no surprise to most of the candidates. Especially after what happened the day prior.

"Leonhart killed 32 dummy titans! That would've tied the previous record for dummy titans killed!" Shadis declared as many of the other trainees were still reeling on the number one placement to be too concerned about the number of titans she killed.

"Fourth place belongs to Eren Jaeger! Come on up to the front!" There were a few people who groaned at the familiar name as he really didn't have the best track record since coming into the training corps. Eren however didn't care as he made his way up to the front. He wasn't quite sure how many dummy titans he killed but he hoped it was at least relatively close to the amount that Annie killed.

"Jaeger here killed 20 dummy titans! Which is 20 times more than some of you groaning about him!" Shadis said which quieted down the people who were still groaning about Eren. Eren didn't really pay attention to this as he didn't really care one way or the other. When he accomplished his goals, maybe he might begin to care about those types of things.

"And finally, fifth place belongs to Reiner Braun! Com on up to the front!" There were a decent amount of cheers as Reiner was basically everyone's big brother. He seemed to care about people as if they were his own siblings, so that instantly made him likable to those he came across.

"Braun killed 17 of the dummy titans" Shadis announced.

"Alright, now that we have that out of the way, we will be doing laps for the rest of the day!" Shadis said as this caused almost everyone to let out a sigh as groaning about it would only result in more laps. And that was something that they didn't need for today.

7:00 p.m.

It was now dinner time for all the trainees as they were all piling into the dining hall. Luffy was of course first in line like he always is, but today's special and that is because he finally is getting his favorite food in the whole wide world.

"MEAT!" Luffy said as he looked at the big chunk of meat on a bone. People looked on enviously as he made his way to a seat. He would normally sit with Eren and his friends, but they were apparently doing something right now so he had to find a different seat.

As he made his way over to an empty seat, someone immediately sat down next to him as soon as he sat down. As he looked over to see he sat down next to him, he saw a girl with brown hair pulled up into a ponytail eyeing his meat, looking like she was seconds away from jumping for it. Luffy however wouldn't allow that.

He cautiously slid over in his seat in order to get away from the girl but she just slid towards him. He tried to slide away again but she just kept on getting closer. This went on for a while until they finally reached the end of the table.

"Are you… gonna eat that?" The girl said as she seemed to get closer and closer to the chunk of meat that he was safeguarding.

"Yeah. You can't have it." Luffy explained as he sat in front of his meat so that she couldn't leap for it.

"What if I could offer you something in return?" Sasha attempted to negotiate but it was no use. There was no way in hell that he would ever- "And it's food related." This immediately caught Luffy's attention as he was wondering if he could get more food.

"Y-You can't have the whole thing alright!" Luffy said as basically held on to the meat like it was going to leave him if he didn't.

"I only ask for half!" Sasha said as she slammed her hands on the table. Luffy gulped as he wondered what she would offer that would be worth half a piece of meat.

"W-What are you going to give me for half a piece of meat?" Luffy said, almost afraid to ask. Sasha smirked as she knew that she had him right where she wanted him.

"What if I told you someone would give you more food everyday if you went to a specific spot?"

7:59 p.m.

Luffy was standing behind the girl's cabin currently. Why you might ask? It's because this was the spot. The glory spot as Sasha called it. It is apparently where an angel brought down food every day for Sasha.

When he initially heard about it he didn't believe it, but the more he thought about extra food every day, that more he realized that he had to check it out.

As he was waiting he was starting to wonder if he lost half of his meat for no reason, but he began to hear a person's footsteps making their way over to him.

"Hey Sasha here's some-KYAH!" Luffy looked towards the screams to see a petite blond hair girl with blue eyes pointing at him while stuttering something.

"Huh? Why did you scream? Oh are you the angel?" Luffy questioned as he wondered if this is the angel that Sasha was referencing. She did kind of look like one, with the white nightgown she was wearing.

"P-P-Pervert!" The blond hair girl screamed while pointing at him.

"Pervert? What are you talking about? I just wanted some food." Luffy said as he was quite confused about the situation that he found himself in.

Before anymore could be said from either side. Someone leaped at Luffy. However, before this someone could reach him, he dodged to the side. He looked to the side to see a tall girl with her hair pulled up into a pony tail. She had brown eyes and freckles spotting across her face. She had a plain white long-sleeved shirt on with brown cargo pants.

"Get back Krista! I'll take care of this pervert!" The brown haired girl told the one now identified as Krista.

"Y-Ymir!" Krista said as a smile grew on her face.

"Take care of me? Are you the food angel?!" Luffy said as a smile spread across his face too, though for a very different reason.

"Food angel? What kind of weird shit are you into man? Whatever, it makes no difference to me." Ymir said.

"STOP!" A yell was heard as Ymir was getting ready to attack Luffy. They turned to see who it was and it was revealed to be none other then Sasha.

"S-Sasha? What are you doing here? And why are you defending this pervert?" Krista questioned.

"He's not a pervert!" Sasha said almost out of breath. "He's just here for the food!" Sasha explained as she made her way in front of Luffy.

"Food?" Krista questioned. Now that she looked at him, he did look familiar…

"Oh you're the meat guy!" Krista exclaimed in realization. Ymir sweat dropped at the odd nickname. However, she was still on her guard whether Potato Girl said he was cool or not. She wouldn't dare let her guard around anyone who could harm her precious Krista.

"C'mon I don't care about all this stuff!" Luffy complained as he grabbed Sasha by the shoulders.

"Just tell me where the food angel is! You said she would be here right?!" Luffy questioned in anger. He had paid her half of his meat, so he expected a reliable food source.

"Food angel?" Krista questioned as she looked at Sasha for an explanation.

"W-Well this might take a while to explain…" Sasha said as she began to explain all of what happened prior to this incident.

8:45 p.m.

Luffy was making his way back to the boy's cabin to get ready to go to sleep. He apparently had to wake up super early to train and he didn't want to slack off in that regard. Especially if it could mean accomplishing his dream.

He needed to get stronger if wanted to be able to see the whole world for what it was. A world he hoped to be able to show to the few friends he has made here.
