A/N: Hey everybody let me just start out by saying I'm sorry for taking a long break. I planned to continue with part 2 a few weeks ago but unfortunately that just wasn't possible because of Quarter Finals. I wouldn't worry about that happening again in the next few months as I should have an abundance of free time compared to a few weeks ago. Also I wanted to briefly bring up the fact that I got a beta-reader for this story so I would like to thank MeMyselfAndI82907 for doing that for me: )

Luffy and Armin stare on in shock at the Colossal Titan that took their home away. Luffy continues to stare on in shock until they see titans entering Trost.

"Damn it! Armin, make sure your prepared! " Luffy says before he quickly launches himself towards the Trost entrance.

Armin gets shaken out of his stupor as he realizes where Luffy's headed.

"W-Wait! Luffy, don't go!" Armin begs, but he is far too slow as Luffy was already far in the distance. Before he can contemplate whether or not to go after him, Armin hears running footsteps coming up from behind him. He turns around to see Mikasa getting ready to do the same thing Luffy was going to do. Luckily this time, he manages to grab onto Mikasa before she can go anywhere.

"Let go of me, Armin! Eren is over by the entrance!" Mikasa says as she turns around to give Armin a distressed look on her face.

"Luffy is already halfway there probably Mikasa! He can help Eren if it comes down to that!" Armin says trying to convince Mikasa.

"B-But," Mikasa stutters out as she contemplates whether or not to listen to Armin's advice.

Armin lets out a nervous sigh.

"Let's fall back, for now, we don't want to waste more gas than is necessary Mikasa, you know how that would make Eren feel too if you went after him," Armin says as he begins to drag Mikasa to the scaffolding that brought them up. Mikasa relents as she lets Armin drag her towards the supply station to get full-on gas and get prepared for the inevitable destruction and death.

Trost Entrance, 5 minutes later…

Luffy skillfully makes his way over to the entrance of Trost as he tries to conserve as much gas as possible while also maintaining lightning-quick speeds. He can now quite clearly see the entrance and it is quite the sight to behold as there are pieces of the previously intact gate scattered on the streets and houses. Luffy looks around and eventually spots Eren with Thomas and Connie huddled around him.

"L-Luffy!" Eren says in shock. "How the hell did you get here so fast? I thought you were on the west side of the wall." Eren questions Luffy only giving a brief chuckle in response before putting on a serious face.

"Eren, what happened?" Luffy asks, semi-nervously. As Eren begins to explain, a Garrison soldier suddenly lands right next to them as he has a nervous look on his face, no doubt caused by the 8-meter hole in the wall right under them.

"What are you guys still doing here? The contingency plan for the Colossal Titan has already begun! Get ready, and report back to HQ!" The soldier demands as he rockets himself toward the canons mounted outside of the wall. Eren, Conny, and Thomas reply with a quick "Yes sir!"

At the supplies station, about 15 minutes later…

Luffy, Armin, Eren, and Mikasa had reunited at this point as they get ready for the inevitable battle ahead. There are plenty of people that are throwing up and muttering silently to themselves.

"Hey Armin, are you doing okay?" Eren asks as Armin continues to shake uncontrollably setting up his ODM gear. Eren is on one side of him while Luffy is on the other side and Mikasa is behind the three of them.

"I-I'm fine, I j-just need a few m-more minutes," Armin says as he too looks like he is on the verge of puking. Armin then begins to mutter his thoughts aloud to them as he questions the chance of them surviving this, let alone the chances that they can force the titans back and patch the wall.

"B-Besides," Armin begins. "the titans can wipe us out at any mo-"

"Armin!" Eren yells as he grabs Armin's arm to stop the continuous shaking. "Things are different now! We don't have to lose to the titan any longer, so calm down!" Eren says.

Luffy smirks as he adds on "Armin, listen to Eren! We didn't train for 3 years for nothing, did we?" Luffy says as he grabs onto Armin's shoulder and gives him a fearless smile. These two actions seem to calm down Armin a bit as he is now able to set up his ODM gear properly now.

"T-Thanks you guys," Armin says as he gives them both a weak smile.

Another 15 minutes later…

.

The formations have just been explained to all the trainees by Captain Kitz Wooerman, a Garrison soldier who looks like he is about as scared as any of the first-time trainees. The vanguard near the entrance to Trost was to be built up of Garrison soldiers, the middle guard was to consist of the trainees there, while the rearguard was to have elite soldiers evacuating and overlooking the civilians going to Wall Rose.

Eren just got out of a one-sided argument with Jean before Mikasa approached him.

"Eren listens to me," Mikasa starts as a worried look spreads across her face. "If you are in a rough situation make sure to get me or Luffy to help you," Mikasa explains, though this evokes an annoyed expression from Eren.

"What the hell are you talking about? I'm in a totally different squad than you two!" Eren says as he folds his arms across his chest.

"It doesn't matter, if-" Before Mikasa could get another word out, a Garrison soldier approaches the two.

"Ackermann, you and D are being especially moved to the rearguard. Make sure you are prepared ASAP." The soldier briefly explains.

"W-What? But we'd only slow you down!" Mikasa tries to explain but this only causes the soldier to sigh.

"Ackermann I didn't ask for your opinion! Make sure you get D as well. We couldn't find him, but people said you guys came from the same town so make sure you find him quickly so you can get to the rearguard." The soldier says with finality.

"B-But-" Mikasa starts but is unable to finish as Eren headbutts her before she can get another word out.

"Mikasa! Don't treat me like some goddamn kid! We are soldiers, your feelings that matter! What matters is that we protect humanity at any risk!" Eren yells at Mikasa as she cowers away at the harshness in Eren's voice.

"O-Okay," Mikasa says. Eren began to walk away, but before he could, Mikasa grabbed onto his jacket. "But before you go, can you promise me one thing?" Mikasa says as she lowers her head to face the ground.

"Please don't die.".

A/N: So how did you like that chapter? I think I did pretty good even if it was a bit shorter than I thought it would be. Just letting you guys know that this Part will cover all of Trost and maybe a bit beyond depending on how I'm feeling about it. Without further ado though, let's get into the reviews!

KyngKena: Thank you for saying that, even if it doesn't really hold up anymore lol. Also I'll talk about this later in the reviews, but I will be including Kiera and Annie 100% for the pairings. Thanks for the support as always!

Diamondhero: Okay I understand that OC's aren't very loved by the fanfic community and that's fair. I do however think that Kiera will play a major role not only in this story, but also it will be easier to flesh out Luffy's character and backstory with an OC compared to an actual AoT character. If I included an AoT character I'd have to completely change their backstory in some cases and I just don't really want to do that. I wouldn't worry though, I am planning for this story to have a decently slow pace so that I have time to flesh out character moments. Thanks for the support as always!

ppsspp: So I already gave my reasoning as to why Kiera will be a love interest in the last review so read that if you would, but Luffy likely won't have a Three-Sword-Style. I just don't really like the idea all that much. And I also don't really see much reason for me to add the fact like "hey Luffy suddenly acquired a Katana!" But hey, if you have any other recommendations, I'd be more than happy to hear them! It helps me as a writer when y'all do recommend interesting ideas like this. Thanks for the support as always.

mixioner538: Yeah that's definitely something I need to work on as a writer. I do now have a beta reader though as I said before so that'll hopefully help with things being too short!

Guts the Man88: Yeah I definitely plan to expand on the reasoning for the sudden appearance of D in Luffy's name. I'm glad someone caught that! But thanks for the support as always dude!
