Like many of the authors here, I started writing at a very young age. Circumstances beyond my control forced me to stop for a number of years. You could say I've been on a siesta for a while, however, so when I decided to get back into writing, I noticed I needed practice. Fortunately for me I had read this wonderful set of books by a woman named J.K.Rowling. The end of the fifth book inspired me to join the ranks of those other Harry Potter lovers who decided to write their own spin on her world. 10-5-12 Unfortunately, the last two books prompted me to stop having anything to do with HP for well over a year as a result of my disappointment. I could publish an entire novella about why, but suffice to say it's been difficult getting back into the genre. Here I am, however, for good or ill to put my personal spin on an AU version of JK's wonderful universe. Because no matter what I think about the direction she took her storyline, she is still an amazing author who created a fabulous imaginary world for us to enjoy.

The stories I'm posting here are no longer canon-esque, in that I have no interest in following the normal story line. I spend lots of time wandering off the beaten path into an entirely new area of JKR's reality. That being said, everything I write is AU, so try and read it in the spirit it was written.

You will see some OCs in the stories. This is mainly because I enjoy writing these characters and they demanded I let them come and play in this new world, so they wandered in and took my muse by storm. I can't say I'm going to post a ton of stories, but the ones I am posting are probably going to be big. I talk a lot.

As to me, myself, and I - I am a woman with a terrible propensity for liking the sound of my own typing. I am fond of science fiction and fantasy (imagine that) and take every opportunity that I don't spend gaming or writing to read voraciously every book I see. My computers are my children, and as long as they don't misbehave I should be able to update pretty regularly.

9-19-06 REAL LIFE being what it is, sometimes it's actually cool. I've learned some new stuff at my job, and as a result, updated my website to include some php stuff. 6-30-07 Again I must tender my apologies for not updating. It figures that I finally have time to write and I get extremely, disgustingly ill. I have begun the next chapter, but with my health being so precarious, as of late, I cannot guarantee I will post by my self-imposed deadline of two weeks. I promise I'm working on it and I promise I WILL finish. Thank you for your patience.

8-28-07 Second Chance is finished! Unfortunately, it will be the last story I write here for a while. Wish me luck in my schooling, and if things go well, maybe I'll see you guys in a year or so. Aside from the occasional short one if I get the urge.

6-15-09 Did you ever happen across a story you posted, thinking "Wow, I could have done so much better!"? Well, for me it is Legacy of Merlin. I started it many a moon ago with a specific storyline in mind, and then got lost on the path as my evil muse took me for a joyride to wtf-land. Now I'm back and am currently doing a massive rewrite of the story. I am going to try and have it up by the end of the year, so you will no longer be hanging. Thank you for your patience, and I hope the new Legacy is all you hoped for and more.

3-10-10 Me again. It's been a VERY long time since I've had time to post here, and I appreciate everyone who still has some interest in my stories. I will finally be graduating next year, so after being run through the senior ringer by my professors, I plan to pick up Legacy of Merlin again. I will freely admit that I've been a bit off Harry Potter since Book 7 came out, and transferred my addiction to Doctor Who, although not the writing of fanfiction. I am determined to finish my story, however, rewriting it so it is better, so please bear with me. If I can, I'm going to try and finish up the next chapter for a rare treat. Thanks again to anyone still keeping an eye on my stories.

10-5-12 Here we are again, but this time I actually have something to show for my extensive absence. Aside from my Bachelor's degree, I have also extensively rewritten Legacy of Merlin so it will hopefully be a lot better than before.
