I don't know where to post an I'm looking for story. I only remember random bits and pieces since it's been so long since I've read it. It's a Harry Potter Time travel story. Harry, Ron, Daphne and a bunch of other characters go back in time to fix the various wrongs of the previous timeline. They also want to get revenge on everyone who had hurt them. They all get sorted into Slytherin and Hermione is the only first year Gryffindor (she is one person the group wants revenge on). The group shows a dominant united front from day one like when Daphne coordinates all the boy and girls outfits and hair styles before the first day of class. Since Harry and the group have adult knowledge of magical spells they are seen as prodigies. For example when they transfigure their stuffed animals where they can walk and talk and in some cases annoy and disrupt Professor McGonagall's class especially the sphinx stuffed animal. Some other details that i remember from the story are when Rita Skeeter who mentors Lavender Brown in the previous time confirms to her that she made it back in time too through a special gift she gives her by owl. A bunch of the kids get specials gifts of approval From their parents for being sorted into Slytherin like ties, hair accessories, jewelry, candy, etc. One of the Patel twins Padma i think receives a special family significant gift from her father for getting sorted into Slytherin.
