Preface: Hello, everyone! Whether you've been with me the past few months or are just joining in, I'm happy to say we've made it - this story you are beginning to read right here is my magnum opus! The big guns. Sixty chapters (counting the prologue and epilogue), five sagas, four intermissions, and several story arcs. And the entire lore gets tied together, too.

I hope it was worth the wait. I've been waiting for this since I initially started writing this story a year ago, and I'm ready to share it with all of you. But first, you should know some of the lore I've made for this story...

MINECRAFT MANIACS RPG

Prologue:

"Perinton, please bring me my files of the Minecraft Maniacs."

Doppel, the king of the gangermen, stared at his computer screen as he waited for his assistant. He had a big plan, but he had to make sure he had his facts straight before he executed it.

A pig wearing a purple bow tie appeared next to him. He was Doppel's assistant, Perinton Pig. "Here are the files, sire," he said, for passive mobs on the planet were much more intelligent than a normal Minecraft world.

Doppel took the USB stick provided by Perinton and plugged it into the dispenser that served as a plug. The monitor turned on, presenting the files of seemingly ordinary Minecraft players.

The first was Danny. His skin was some fusion of a villager and the character Mario. He was the most unique. He had a unique diamond sword which he dubbed the Chicken Blade. It had a special enchantment on it that allowed it to perform more unique actions.

The next was Liam. His skin was that of a Shy Guy from Mario wearing sunglasses and a brown jacket. He was the crafter of the group, always making things that the group needed.

The last was Kevin. He was the one Doppel was really looking for. He was a bit of the smart one - despite not being good at science in real life, he was rather skilled with command blocks, allowing him to mod in things that don't exist in ordinary Minecraft, such as Liam's special dispenser, which was portable and always had an infinite amount of arrows.

They also had companions - Pork Chop was Danny's pet pig, who always wore a hat and scarf. While nowhere near Perinton's standards, he was a smart piglet, being able to fight as well as the others. The other two were custom mobs Kevin created called rabborgs: loosely based on the Rabbid characters, they were rabbit-like creatures that tended to accompany them on their adventures.

The three had a long history - a few years ago, the three created a Minecraft server designed for their school district. It was shortly after its creation that Danny first discovered the special sword enchantment. Not long afterwards, they found special stones that turned the fountain in the town plaza into a source of power, allowing them to transform into superpowered states.

Doppel had tried to attack Kevin on two other occasions. The first was when Kevin was looking for a power source for the machine that created the rabborgs, for the king was hoping to use it for his own evil intentions. The second time was shortly after the creation of the first rabborg, Spawny (not to be confused with the Rabbid from the Mario crossover). The team had discovered a world accessed from the fountain that had both rabborgs and players. It was there that they met another rabborg named Spawnette, who was Spawny's long-lost sister.

The reason why Doppel sought Kevin was because the skin Kevin chose made his avatar part-gangerman. Gangermen had the DNA of puffball spirits, meaning that they were able to inhale objects and copy abilities, in addition to teleportation. Because of this gangerman connection, Kevin had a bit of an evil soul in him, which meant that he was unable to directly kill any gangermen.

While Doppel was defeated both previous times, this time he had greater intentions. Formerly, he was only trying to take over Minecraft. Now, he intended to take over a whole multiverse which, as it happened, included the real world.

"Have you reviewed enough, sire?" asked Perinton.

Doppel looked away from his computer. "Yes, I think I am done. I just hope that meddling fly Buzzer won't stop me again."

"I don't think that will happen, sire," said Perinton. "He's been trying to attack us for years, and his age is showing. Really, the Minecraft Maniacs are our only problem."

"Very well. Let's begin with their private world…"

Postface: There we go! We're off! Since this story is starting off when the characters have had some experience under their belt, this prologue is meant to shed a little light on their past experiences. I actually waited until I was nearly done with the story to write this originally!
