Fairy Huntresses

"Are you two still fighting?"

The sun was setting on Magnolia South Gate Park with a salmon haired boy, and a blue cat, sitting against a tree, both grumbling as they looked up to see two young women, one of them a couple years older than the salmon haired boy, and the other around his age.

The young woman, matching Natsu in age, stood at around 5'6-5'7 with silvery white hair, and wearing a magenta red dress with hot pink sleeves connected to gold rings that held them up separate from, and black leather combat boots that went halfway up her shins, and her guild mark in red was located on her left arm.

The other young woman was standing next to her, she had long waist length scarlet red hair, with black bangs, and golden blonde frosted tips, with cat ears on her head, and a tail, with the right ear having two gold piercings, and the left having one. She wore a black-and-red strapless top, showing a massive amount of cleavage, with a white vest, and a white mini skirt and a pair of black boots that went a bit over her knees. On her shoulder, was a black furred Kitsune with bone plate armor, and purple markings adorning the mask.

"Natsu started it." The blue cat said. "He knows I like my fish raw, but he cooked it all up."

"Well what do you expect Happy? Cooked fish is the best." Natsu said.

"Look, I get where you're both coming from. Each of you have different tastes. But can you not argue like this? Natsu, next time you get some food for the two of you, please make sure you get enough fish for Happy to enjoy it his way, and you can enjoy yours, your way. Compromise?"

"Yeah, I guess that sounds like a good compromise." Natsu said.

"Lisanna, Athena, come on we're heading out."

Athena and Lisanna turned around to see a tan skinned man with silvery white hair, wearing some sort of uniform, walking beside a woman with matching hair, wearing some sort of punch rocker girl clothes, and her hair tied back.

"Wait, are you guys heading out on a mission?" Natsu asked.

"Yep, and it's an S-Class quest. An' the master said if we do good, Athena here will finally get bumped up to an S-Class Sorceress Status." Mira smiled, wrapping her arm around Athena's shoulders. "She's certainly powerful enough for it."

"Oh please, it's no big deal. I'm just obtaining my S-Class status through a different means than the S-Class trials, approved by the Master and Magic Council." Athena said.

"No big deal?" Elfman questioned. "Athena the S-Class trials are considered childs play compared to exams and training the Council puts wizards through to obtain their S-Class status through them. You're literally one of five people in history, who've ever gone through with the full regimen for obtaining the status of S-Class straight from the council."

"Well, I wouldn't have been able to do it, if it weren't for Mira and Erza." Athena smiled. "I owe the both of you for teaching me Requip Magic and Full Body Takeover Magic."

"You originally wanted to learn them, because you thought they would help you with finding your parents. So it was our pleasure to help you with getting closer to achieving that goal." Mira smiled.

"Who knows, I just might find more than my parents. I might find my Aunt Ruby, and my Aunt Weiss to." Athena said.

"Well, I hope you find what you're looking for." Natsu said with a smile.

"I'm sure she will." Lisanna smiled.

"Come on, it's about time we headed off for our mission." Mira smiled, turning to leave with Elfman, Athena, and Lisanna following.

~Train Ride to their Mission Location~

"So, where is the S-Class mission located?" Athena asked, eating a sandwich, while the Kitsune was curled up in Lisanna's lap, with the silvery white haired girl petting her.

"It's located in Osiria Village." Mira explained.

"Osiria? But isn't that the village…"

"That drove us out for believing I was possessed by a demon, yes." Mira sighed.

"An' you're still willing to go back to that retched village and help them?" Athena inquired.

"Sometimes, you just gotta be bigger than those who've wronged you. An' the best way of doing that, is to help them." Elfman said.

"I guess you're right." Athena sighed. "So, what's the mission exactly?"

"For the past couple years now, the village has been under the threat of a monstrous beast, that's been tearing up crops, destroying buildings, and stealing the people of the village, no doubt for unspeakable things." Mira said. "The people are on the brink of losing hope, and starving to death. This only recently became an S-Class quest, when several wizards from other guilds, took on the job, but never came back."

"So the people of the magic council were too lazy to properly classify this quest the first go around huh?" Athena questioned. "Typical."

"If you can end this quest, then you'll be named an S-Class Sorceress." Elfman said.

"Yeah, I guess I will be."

"It's a couple days ride by train, then another six hours by carriage from the station." Lisanna said, pointing to the location of the village on the map.

"We won't need a carriage when we've got Joō here to take us there, after we leave the station." Athena explained. "With her speed, it should take us about… thirty minutes at most, twenty at minimum."

"That is fast." Mira smiled. "The mission itself with take a couple days, but that shouldn't be a problem at all."

"Let's not forget our secondary mission." Lisanna smiled.

"An' what would that be?" Athena inquired.

The Strauss siblings looked to one another, before nodding in agreement, and turning back to look at Athena.

"We'd heard rumors about a woman with jet black hair, with violet tips." Elfman said. "She's got a robust body, is a capable fighter, and uses a strange magic involving shadow clones, shadow movement, and turning her body into metal, that no one has ever seen before."

"We're hoping that if she is there, you'll recognize her, and your search will be a step closer to completion." Mira said.

"We're sorry for keeping this from you, but we didn't want to get your hopes up by mentioning one of your parents might be in Osiria, only for them to be crushed if it wasn't true." Lisanna said.

"You were planning a mission to find my Mama, while we took care of this mission?" Athena asked.

"To be precise, Lisanna and Elfman were gonna search for her, while you and I took care of the monster." Mira explained. "If they found her, they would bring her to us, once the mission was over. But if they couldn't find her, then they'd meet back up with us, and the excuse would have been, they were searching for more intel on the monster. But looks like that plans gone to waste."

"Yeah, I wasn't supposed to say anything, sorry." Lisanna said, blushing from embarrassment.

"You guys." Athena said, her eyes watering as she smiled, before she pulled the three of them in for a hug. "What did I ever do to deserve friends like you?" She asked happily.

"I told you she'd be happy if she knew about the plan." Lisanna smiled.

"Alright, that's enough hugging." Mira chuckled, pulling herself out of the hug. "Like Lisanna said, the train ride will take a couple days, so it's best we just relax, and enjoy the ride."

"Who's up for a game of poker?" Elfman questioned, pulling out a deck of cards.

"20J entry?" Athena smiled.

"You're on." Elfman smiled.

"Big brother." Lisanna groaned.

"Let him be Lisanna." Mira smiled, trading places with Elfman so he'd be sitting across from Athena. "He needs to learn the hard way, he'll never win against Athena."

"Not this time. This time, I'm winning against Athena." Elfman smiled proudly, dealing five cards to Athena and himself. "Prepare to lose."

~Two Days Later~

"I can't believe I lost all my money to Athena again." Elfman sighed, sounding depressed as they disembarked the train, as the sun was getting low in the sky.

"What can I say? I'm just that good at poker." Athena smiled, before she bumped into someone.

"Hey, watch it pal. Say sorry when you bump into someone." Mira said as the stranger walked off.

"It's fine Mira, he didn't swipe anything, and I wasn't looking where I was…" Athena paused when she felt a roughness between her chest. "Oh that pervert he thinks I'm a stripper and put a jewel bill in my chest." She grumbled angrily reaching in to pull out the rough textured item. "When I find him again I'll… what's this?" She questioned, pulling out a piece of paper, instead of a bill.

"Open it up." Lisanna said. "Read what's inside."

Athena did need to be told twice as she opened the piece of paper, finding there was a message inside.

"RWBY. But the B is circled. An' the only other words on here are, Osiria, and Blood Moon Tavern." She said.

"What's RWBY?" Elfman asked.

"It was the team name. An anagram using the initials from all original members first names. Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long." Athena explained. "I was part of Team RWBY as well, but that was after the name had been made."

"So, why is the B, circled?" Lisanna asked.

"Blood Moon Tavern." Mira paused. "Elfman, remember when father would go out drinking? Where would he always go?"

"The Blood Moon Tavern, of course." Elfman said.

"So, if this is what I think it is, then the B, of RWBY will be found at Blood Moon Tavern." Lisanna said.

"Either that, or the library. Mama was big on books, had whole mountains of them in her room, and I doubt she'd give up her passion for reading." Athena explained.

"The town doesn't have that big of a library. Elfman, Lisanna, when we get to Osiria, ask around town, and show them the pictures you have of Blake. Athena and I will head to the village center and get started on the job."

"Right." Elfman said.

"Alright, that means you're up Joō." Athena said, looking to the Grimm on her shoulder.

Joō looked up to Athena, before hopping off her shoulder, and onto the station platform. Running off the platform, and onto the dirt path, Athena and the Strauss siblings walked up to the edge, just as Joō grew big enough for the four of them to ride at once.

"You sure the four of us won't be too much for her to carry?" Lisanna asked.

"At this size? No way, Joō could tow the entire train for miles and not break a sweat." Athena explained.

"Impressive. Grimm really are such magnificent creatures." Mira said.

"Only those that I've created. Which you can tell by the purple on their masks. Now come on, let's get going." Athena said, hopping onto Joō's back.

With nothing else to lose, the Strauss Siblings all hopped onto Joō's back, and held on tight as she began running down the beaten dirt path. Before long, Joō had made it to the town of Osiria, stopping at the entrance for Elfman and Lisanna to hop off.

"Alright, you know the plan. Meet back up here if you find her, or if the sun sets." Mira explained.

"Right." Elfman said, before Joō ran off, heading for the village's center.

There, a fat man wearing what looked like a fancy suit, stood by the fountain, waiting for them.

"Hello Mayor. It's been a long time." Mirajane said, hopping down from Joō's back.

"You? What in blazes are you doing here you demon spawn?" The mayor questioned.

"Don't get your underwear in a knot. I'm here to get rid of your little monster problem." Mira said, showing him her emblem. "I'm an S-Class Sorceress of Fairy Tail."

"Looks like Fairy Tail will let even the demon possessed into their guild." The mayor grumbled.

"Mirajane isn't possessed." Athena declared hopping down, with Joō shrinking down, to where her head reached her shoulders. "She wields a rare type of Takeover Magic, which allowed her to absorb the demon, your entire village thought possessed her."

"Are you saying we ran an innocent girl, and her cursed siblings out of our town?" The mayor questioned.

"Oh no, I would never say that, out loud at least." Athena said, laughing with Mira.

"Well, as pleasant as it's been catching up on old times, Athena and I are here to do our job and take care of your monster problem." Mira said with a smile.

"I'd say by the state of the mayor, he already took care of it, by eating the monster himself." Athena said.

"That's enough." Mira said. "Forgive her, she just doesn't take kindly to those who've treated her friends wrongly."

"So, where exactly can we find your monster?" Athena asked.

"In the mountain pass, on the south side of the village." The mayor said. "Every night on the full moon, it comes down from the mountain and terrorizes us, before heading back into the mountains at daybreak."

"Then that's where we'll start looking." Athena said. "An' we don't have a lot of time, the next full moon is tonight."

"The sooner you rid us of it, the better." The mayor said.

"We'll head out as soon as possible. Fair warning, we did bring Lisanna and Elfman along. They're currently visiting our fathers old stomping grounds." Mirajane explained.

"I suppose I don't see the harm in that." The mayor sighed.

"But before we go, you wouldn't happen to have a weapons shop in town would you?" Athena questioned with a smile.

At the same time, Lisanna and Elfman were walking around town, asking questions to anyone if they'd seen the woman in their pictures, Blake, before. They'd split up to cover more ground, but chose to meet back up at the Blood Moon Tavern in about an hour.

"Find anything Lisanna?" Elfman questioned.

"Nothing, I've asked around, but people have been ignoring us." Lisanna said.

"I know what you mean. It seems they still view Big Sis as a demon." Elfman said.

"What should we do now?" Lisanna questioned.

"Well, we don't have anywhere else to look, so we might as well go on that tip we got from the weird guy at the station." Elfman sighed.

Heading through town, Elfman and Lisanna went to the Blood Moon Tavern.

"It's a good thing Athena gave me back some of the money she won from our poker games on the train, on the way here." Elfman said, entering the bar.

The inside of the tavern was just as they thought it was. The people looked miserable, and the place was poorly kept.

"Excuse us." Elfman said, coming to the bar counter, and getting the bar tenders attention.

"Can I help you two with something?" He asked.

"Yes, a friend of ours received this notice that lead us here." Lisanna said, holding up the note Athena had gotten at the station, and the drawn photo of Blake. "We're looking for this woman, her name is Blake Belladonna."

"Can't say that I've seen her." The bar tender said.

"That's too bad." Elfman said. "Athena's gonna be disappointed we didn't find one of her parents."

"Hold up, your friends name is Athena?" The bar keep asked.

"Yeah. She's here in town now, working on a quest with our big sis. We were sent as her proxy." Lisanna said.

The barkeep looked around the bar, wanting to make sure no one was listening in on their conversation.

"Go around back. There's a VIP room there. You'll find who you're looking for there." The barkeep said.

"Why all the secrecy?" Lisanna asked.

"Let's just say, the Mayor, isn't her biggest fan when it comes to trying to stop the monster that's been terrorizing the town." The barkeep explained.

~Meanwhile~

"So, what do you think is up with the mayor?" Athena asked as she and Mira rode on Joō's back up the mountain side.

"What do you mean?" Mira inquired.

"I mean, he didn't seem all that happy we came to deal with the monster." Athena said. "He's hiding something, something he doesn't want anyone to know."

"I noticed the shady look in his eyes too."

"An' did you see the state of him?" Athena questioned. "For a town struggling for food and survival, he sure seems to have enough to pig out on every day."

"What are you saying?"

"I've seen corruption in leaders before. This is no different."

"You think he might be controlling the monster somehow, to keep himself in a position of power, and to keep the people in fear of him." Mira said. "That is troublesome."

"What's more, is this weapon I got." Athena said, holding up the sword she purchased from the weapons shop. "There were far better quality ones the shop keep could have sold me, but he deliberately said he could only sell me this."

"You think the mayor is forcing him to sell the shit quality weapons to those who come to buy them, on purpose to make it harder for those responding to the quest, to complete it?" Mira asked.

Athena held up the sword at the same height of her head, and dropped it. The resulting clang ended with blade, breaking off the hilt in three separate pieces, as Joō kept marching on.

"That about answers it." Athena said. "The mayor's a no good tyrant."

"Why did you buy a weapon when you knew it would just break on the first swing?" Mira questioned.

"I had a theory that needed testing. An' it looks like the results are conclusive." Athena said.

"I keep forgetting you're just as much a scientist as you are a mage." Mira sighed.

"Hold up." Athena said, as Joō stopped in her tracks and began sniffing around. Athena raised her head a bit and sniffed the air herself. "We're getting close to where the monster is."

"Then let's not waste any time." Mira said.

Quietly and quickly Joō went speeding through the mountain pass, following the scent as she tracked the beast down with the two Sorceresses on her back. Before long, Athena and Mira found themselves at the mouth of a cave, with multiple bones littering the ground.

"Joō says these aren't animal bones." Athena said, hopping down to the ground. "I'd have to agree with her on that one. These bones are human."

"Guess we know what happened to those who took on this job before us." Mira said, before she and Athena flinched, hearing a long, loud and deep sound resonating from the cave.

"My guess, is its sleeping and that was a snore." Athena said.

"No kidding." Mira stated. "Let's jut hope Elfman and Lisanna are having better luck on their end."

~Blood Moon Tavern~

"Hello?" Elfman questioned, knocking on the door to the VIP room.

"Is anyone here?" Lisanna asked, as she opened the door.

Before she could open it too much, a knife came out of the darkness, and hit the door frame, scaring both Lisanna and Elfman.

"Who are you, and what do you want?" A womans voice came from the darkness, as they spotted a pair of amber eyes glowing in the dark, looking at them.

"Um, a friend of ours received this note from someone at the train station." Lisanna said, holding up the note. "Her name is Athena."

The amber eyes seemed to glare at them, before the lights turned on, revealing the VIP room had a lavish couch, with plush cushions and an incredible book collection around her.

Sitting on the couch, was a woman, with black shoulder length hair with violet tips, cat ears on top of her head, wearing a purple sleeveless catsuit, stopping at her thighs, like a one piece swimsuit, accompanied with light purple soled and trim combat heeled boots that went most of the way up her thighs. The catsuit has a high neck with a single short silver zipper, with the zipper down enough to show some cleavage from her I-Cup chest. A pair of silver kneepads, attached to the knees of the boots. On her arms were a pair of white skin tight sleeves being held up by a pair of silver rings on her upper arms, covering parts of what looked like tribal tattoos. She had a couple of cuff earrings through her right cat ear, and stud earrings through the earlobes on her human ears. Her cheeks and forearms had violet scales like armor, resembling Athena's scales.

"Athena Marvell Xiao Long?" The woman questioned.

"You look a lot different than the picture she showed us." Lisanna said.

"Answer the question." Blake stated sternly.

"Yes, her full name is Athena Marvell Xiao Long." Elfman stated. "An' you're Blake Belladonna?"

"I am." Blake said. "Where is my daughter?"

"She's working on a quest with our big sis." Lisanna said. "They're going after the monster that's been terrorizing this town."

"They're what?" Blake questioned, getting to her feet. "This isn't good. Come with me." She stated, grabbing a high collar long coat tail vest, and a weapon from one end of the couch and heading out.

"What's going on?" Lisanna asked. "Why are you in such a panic all of a sudden? Is it about the quest?"

"The monster Athena and your sister are hunting, is under the Mayors control. He's a tyrant who will kill them to keep himself in power over the town with fear. The Mayor before him was the one who put out the request for someone from a guild to take care of the monster. But he came to an, untimely demise a few years back, leaving our current mayor an opportunity to take charge, and slide into the position of power." Blake said, marching out to the front with the two Strauss siblings following. "John I'm heading out."

"Right." The barkeep said.

"The previous Mayor's request was never taken down, because it would have drawn too much unwanted attention to him." Blake continued. "So instead of dealing with that, he just feeds any Wizard to answer the call for the request, to the monster itself, because none of them are strong enough to kill it."

"That's bad." Elfman said as they left the tavern and made their way through town to the path leading to the mountains.

"But Mira is an S-Class Sorceress." Lisanna said.

"That won't be enough. The monster has devoured S-Class Wizards before. It might buy them enough time to try and escape, but it won't kill them." Blake said.

"Then we'd better hurry." Elfman said.

Meanwhile, as the trio were making their way to the path leading into the mountains, none of them noticed the eyes watching them from the shadows as they followed the trio.

~Mira and Athena~

"This isn't good." Athena called out, jumping back to avoid a fist coming at her from the monster. "Are we sure this thing is even able to die?"

"We can't give up." Mira said, her voice sounding different, as she had taken on her main Takeover form, Satan's Soul.

Mira's form was more demonic, as her eye became darker with a dark, thin marking in a light zigzag-style crossing their right eye vertically, with similar markings present above her right breast and on both of their bare thighs. Her hair became wilder, jutting upwards and getting curlier, with her ears having enlarged, extending back, with pointed edges, bearing resemblance to those of elves. Her canines were a bit longer and sharper, with her lips covered in dark purple lipstick. Her forearms and hands also changed quite drastically, becoming covered in scales with each sprouting a fin-like protrusion on its outer side. She also grew a large, stocky tail, that looked like it was made of metal plates or scales, getting smaller and smaller near its end.

Mira's clothes were also different, having been replaced by a dark, skimpy one-piece suit, revealing her arms and legs, and exposing most of her belly and wide cleavage. The edges of her clothing take on spiky shapes, with golden edges, with her spiky collar, tied around the neck by a cravat tie. Her shoulders are tied in thin belts protruding from their one-piece suit, and her feet are covered by matching, high-heeled thigh-high boots, decorated by lighter motifs on their upper parts, taking on the shapes of jagged blades pointing downwards on the front of their legs, and on the lower parts, in correspondence to their ankles and feet. It also looked as though she dawned a pair of gauntlets covering the back parts of her arms.

"We're all that stands between the monster, and the Village. The people can't survive another attack from this thing." Mira exclaimed.

"Hey Mira, back track and regroup. I have an idea I need to run by you." Athena said, backing away, and hiding behind a rock. "Joō, keep it distracted."

"What's up Athena?" Mira questioned, coming down behind the rock.

"It might be a little crazy but… what if one of us were to try and use a Takeover Spell on it? That way we'd get the job done and…"

"No." Mira said. "I know where you're going with this, and you're not strong enough with Takeover Magic to attempt to use a Takeover spell on something this powerful."

"Well do you have any other ideas?" Athena questioned.

"I do." Mira said. "Do you know any spells that can cause an explosion?"

"I don't know any spells powerful enough for what we need, but I do have a magic powered Arc Reactor in my Requip Dimension." Athena said. "If I set it to overload, then it could kill that thing. But the explosion would have to take place, from inside the beast."

"Meaning we'd have to shove the reactor down its gullet." Mira concluded. "Alright, you get to work on setting the reactor to overload while Joō and I keep that thing busy."

"Got it." Athena said, requipping the basket ball sized reactor into her hands.

Mira took on her Satan Soul form again, and flew into the air, flying directly at the monster, and hitting it with her attack spells.

"Darkness Stream." Mira called out, hitting the monster with the attack, as large tendrils came out of a dark magic circle, and grabbed the beast. "How are we doing on the charge Athena?"

"I can't rush it. One miscalculation and the entire mountain, and village below, will be history, along with the two of us. I have to do this right, with only enough charge to destroy the monster." Athena called to her, requipping her tools from her dimension.

"Better hurry." Mira said, as she hit the monster with attack after attack.

The monster kept flailing about, trying hard to hit Mira, and knock her away.

"Come on big guy, fall." Mira growled.

Mira flew away from the monster as it swung its arm at her, hoping to take it down, but the monsters mouth began to glow as it prepared a magical attack, and it was aimed at the village.

"Not good." Mira cried out, before flying into its path, and putting her hands together. "Demon Blast." Mira chanted, as a dark purple stream of energy fired from her hands, countering the breath attack the monster had fired.

Mira struggled to hold her own against the monsters attack, but it was pushing her back, and it wasn't doing so gently, as she was pushed back into a rock wall. When the attack ended, the Monster slammed its hand down on Mira, pinning her to the wall.

"AAAHHHH." Mira cried out, as she reverted back from Satan's Soul. 'My arm, it's broken.'

"Hey ugly."

Mira's eyes widened when she heard that voice, and looked up on the monsters arm, seeing Elfman there.

"Keep your hands off my sister." He growled.

Thrusting his arm upwards, Elfman transformed it into a Stone Beast arm, and slammed it down on the Monsters, causing it to roar out in pain, and to drop Mira from its grasp, while throwing Elfman off its arm, sending him face first into the rock wall, and putting a gash on his face, before Joō caught him on her back.

As Mira fell to the ground, she felt herself get caught in a pair of strong arms, and opened her eyes to find she'd been caught by Blake, as she had a pair of angelic wings sprouted from her back, before she flew down, and landed on the ground in front of Athena.

"Mama?" Athena questioned, dropping her tools in shock.

"Baby girl." Blake smiled as she set Mira down against the rock. "It's been too long since I last saw you."

"You too." Athena smiled, hugging Blake.

"I really hate to interrupt this family reunion, but what is that?" Lisanna questioned, coming to their hiding spot, and pointing at the Arc Reactor.

"It's what we're gonna use to destroy the monster. All we gotta do is shove this thing down its gullet before it explodes, and kaboom, that thing is history." Athena explained.

"That might be a problem, unless you're alright with killing your friend." Blake said looking out to the monster.

"What?" Athena questioned, her head popping out from behind the rock, to see Elfman's body glowing as his fingers dug into its flesh, before he disappeared inside the beasts wound. "Damn it Elfman."

"What did he do?" Mira asked.

"He's attempting a full body Takeover spell." Athena explained as she could see the monster struggling to maintain control over its own body with Joō dodging through its attacks. "An' he's not fairing well."

"Damn it, if we don't knock the beast out, then we'll lose him forever." Mira said.

"I have an idea, but I've been trying to avoid it, because it would mean I'd lose her for good." Athena said.

"Lose who?" Lisanna asked.

"Athena, you don't mean…"

"Yeah Mama, Saffron's still with me, but if I use her soul in a full body Takeover, she'll be gone for good." Athena said.

"Who is Saffron?" Mira asked.

"The first real friend I ever had. An' the first Grimm I ever created. I was blind for a while when I was younger, but Saffron merged with me to give me back my sight, and give my power a boost. If I perform a full body Takeover on her soul, I'll gain all the abilities I created her with."

"But at the cost of losing her." Lisanna said.

"We're out of time." Blake said. "Your friend has lost the battle."

"Hold on, let me try something." Lisanna said, getting to her feet.

"No Lisanna don't." Mira cried as her younger sister went walking towards Elfman.

"Elfman. Big brother." Lisanna called from her position on the ground. "It's okay. I know you're still in there and I know you're scared. But everything's all right." She said as the monster raised his arm to strike her. "It doesn't matter what you've done, or what you've become, we forgive you, and you know what else?" She asked. "I still love you."

The monsters arm cam swinging down, ready to send Lisanna flying and kill her, but the young Strauss girl, wasn't hit, as Blake pushed her down and forward, taking the strike that was meant for the younger Strauss girl.

"MAMA." Athena cried out. "I'm sorry Saffron, but I have to."

"Do it Athena. I'll happily give my soul for you to use. Perform the spell, and save your friends and family." Saffron's voice echoed in her head.

Athena's body began to glow, as she charged out towards the Monster Elfman. The monster was preparing to swing at Lisanna again, but his arm was stopped by one of equal size, before he was kicked away.

"Don't you dare." A new voice growled.

The monster Elfman looked up, and standing at around the same height, was an anthromorphic woman, with bone plate armor forming a breast plate, vambraces, shin guards, shoulder guards, and thigh guards, razor sharp bone blades along her spine, long black hair, and a bone mask that moved with her mouth. Her eyes were a burning crimson red, with the purple markings decorating her mask, shined brightly with power.

"Full body Takeover: Grimm Soul, Panthress." Athena growled, her voice sounding much more guttural. "Elfman, if you can hear me in there ya bastard, I want you to fight this thing. I know you're strong enough to do it, so let's break you out of that mental prison. So man up, and fight the monster for control."

(Cue Music… Holding out for a hero: Little V)

Athena swung her other arm forward, covered in flames, hitting the monster possessed Elfman, and knocking him back. The Monster picked himself up, and charged at Athena, wrapping his arms around her waist, and pushing her back to one of the stone walls, slamming her into it, and holding her there with one arm while repeatedly hitting her in the face with the other, cracking and chipping the bone mask on her, causing black mist to spew from the cracks.

"Mistress." Athena looked down to see Joō looking up at her in concern. "Please, allow me to assist you."

"Do it Joō." Athena responded.

Joō nodded, before she went running up to Elfman, growing in size, until she was large enough to jump at him, and bite his arm, stopping him from continuing his assault on Athena, before the Huntress pushed him off her, and kicked him in the stomach.

"Elfman. I told you, you're strong enough to break through this. So stop sitting on your lazy ass, be a man, and get to it." Athena shouted, hitting Elfman with a jab-cross combo, before hitting him with a spinning back kick to the chest.

Athena covered her fists in flames before taking a boxing stance. As she expected, Elfman came at her, giving Athena the opportunity to strike him with an uppercut, before slamming her elbow into his chest, causing Monster Elfman to stumble back.

Picking himself back up, Elfman charged at Athena, extending its claws at her, intending on tearing her to shreds.

(End Song…)

Moving and twisting around the side, evading Monster Elfman's claws, Athena twisted around, slamming her elbow into his neck, causing a loud crack to emit from the monster, before it fell to the ground, consciousness leaving him as his body lit up, and he shrank down in size, before returning to a normal Elfman, who lay unconscious and shirtless on the ground.

Athena was breathing heavily as she reverted back to human form, and fell to one knee, feeling all her stamina drained from her, with Joō coming to her side, and helping Athena to stand.

"I don't think I'll be doing that again, any time soon." Athena groaned.

"ATHENA."

Mira's panicked voice reminded Athena that there was still someone who needed her help.

Rushing pulling herself onto Joō's back, Athena had the Kitsune Grimm rush her over to where Blake had been sent flying and landed.

"Mama." Athena cried out as Joō slid to a halt, allowing for her to slid off her back, and crawl to where Blake was. "Mama, Mama I'm here." Athena said, coming to her side, and holding her hand.

"Athena? Is that you?" Blake asked. "I can't see you. Where are you."

"I'm right here Mama." Athena said, tears forming in her eyes. "I'm right here."

"I can't feel anything. My body won't move." Blake said.

"It's bad Athena." Mirajane said, while holding her broken arm.

"No, Mama please I just got you back." Athena said. "Please don't go."

"Athena, you were always such a good girl. I've followed your exploits with Fairy Tail through Sorcerer Weekly, and I am so proud of you, for the young woman you've become, for the life you've made while separated from us, and for the family you've gotten at the guild." Blake said as her body began to glow.

"No Mama, stay, you have to stay." Athena cried, pulling Blake in for a hug. "Please don't leave me alone. You're the first one I've found, I haven't been able to find anyone from Team RWBY until you. Please."

"Remember Athena, I will always be with you, no matter where you go." Blake said, before her body vanished, disappearing into the ether.

"Mama." Athena cried, as Mirajane and Lisanna looked away, neither of them having the heart to face this tragedy either. "MAMA." She shouted.

~Fairy Tail~

"Welcome back my children." Makarov said, as the Strauss siblings came back from their S-Class quest. "It seems you all got a bit beat up." He pointed out, noticing Mira's slung arm and Elfman's bandaged eye. "But I'm just glad everyone made it back alive."

"Not everyone Master." Mira said, the ambiance in the air becoming one of gloom and solitude.

"What do you mean? Where's Athena?" Makarov questioned, fearing the worst.

"Athena's alive, but she's at her home, wanting to be left alone." Lisanna explained.

"What happened on the mission?" Makarov asked.

"When we went out on the mission, it was starting to go belly up until Athena and I had a plan of attack to defeat the monster once and for all." Mira said.

"While Elfman and I were following a lead that actually lead us to Blake Belladonna, one of Athena's mothers." Lisanna added. "Elfman and I followed Blake to where the monster would be, as the mayor of Osiria was controlling it."

"I tried to use a full body Takeover spell on the beast, but I wasn't strong enough." Elfman said.

"Elfman lost control, and Lisanna tried to talk to him, and calm him down, but he wasn't in control. She would have died, but Blake rushed in and…" Mira paused, as she couldn't bring herself to say more.

"When all was said and done, Blake took the hit for me, but it cost her gravely, and Athena is now at home, mourning her loss." Lisanna finished.

"Oh, the poor child." Makarov said. "She must be heart broken."

"It's my fault." Elfman said. "If I hadn't tried to rush in, if I hadn't been so impulsive, and I had just gone to where the others had been, and listened to their plan, then Athena's mother…"

"Do not blame yourself Elfman." Makarov said. "It wasn't your fault. You acted the way you did, because you wanted to protect those who you care for. That is a noble act in of itself. But you must not place the blame of this tragedy on your shoulders."

"But Athena…"

"Isn't the type of person who'd blame you for this." Makarov continued. "She knows you were just trying to do what was best, and she knows you'd never harm those you or anyone else care for, especially someone she cared for as deeply as one of her mothers. Tonight my children, we will honor the life of Blake Belladonna, the mother of our newest S-Class Wizard."

The entire guild was silent, as they all raised their mugs with Makarov.

Joō: Japanese word for Queen.

Osiria: The rare rose with both red and white petals.

An' to Guest Shawn, I'm sure about where I wanted to start the story, as I have a plan. An' Makarov was more concerned with how the scar got on Athena's back, then why it was there to begin with.
