Fairy Huntresses
"Natsu. Hey wake up Natsu, we're at the Port Town Hargeon." Athena said, poking the salmon haired boy as he lay on the floor of the train, keeping herself covered with her hooded cloak.
"Come on Natsu get up." Happy said standing in front of him.
"Is he gonna be alright?" The train attendant questioned with concern.
"He's usually like this on vehicles. He's got some pretty bad motion sickness." Athena said.
"Never, I'm never riding a stupid train again." Natsu said, before his cheeks bulged out as he looked like he was gonna barf.
"You say that every time." Athena sighed.
"Couldn't we have taken one of your Grimm instead? I don't get motion sickness when riding on a saddle." Natsu said.
"One, I stopped making Grimm to take on missions after Joō was fatally injured and I had to use a Takeover Spell on her to preserve her memory, now I have one as a pet, and nothing more. Two, this is the fastest method to you getting over it." Athena said, dragging him with her off the train.
"Easy for you to say. You're not a Dragonslayer." Natsu groaned.
'Oh how wrong you are.' Athena thought. 'The only one in the guild who knows my true magic is Master.'
"Hey be nice Natsu, Athena footed the bill for the tickets. So you could at least show her some respect." Happy said.
"Not to mention, I paid for all the food you ordered and ate, when the train made its first stop." Athena said, her tail flicking around in annoyance. "That was honestly a waste."
"Sorry." Natsu said.
"Come on. Get up, we're off the train." Athena said.
"Right." Natsu said, getting to his feet. "Thanks for accompanying me on this Athena."
"You're not the only one who has a personal stake in this lead you know. Rumor is that this Salamander and Huntress are supposed be really powerful. If we're lucky, which I doubt we're that lucky, it could be Igneel and my mom."
"Right." Natsu said.
"If our information's correct, we should find those two somewhere in this town." Happy said.
"Let's hope it is." Athena sighed.
"Hey, we'll find your mother, don't worry." Natsu said.
"I'm not worried about that." Athena stated. "I know we'll find her eventually, it's just…"
"You're afraid of telling her about Blake." Natsu said, only getting a nod in reply. "I know the last two years have been rather hard on you, but don't worry. If your mother loves you as much as you say she does, then she'll understand, and won't hold you responsible for what happened. An' in the end, you managed to get that corrupt mayor behind bars. That's a win in my book."
'When I held her hand, and hugged her tight, I tried to pour as much of my healing magic into her as possible, but it just wasn't enough.' Athena thought. 'I wish I could stop hiding my true power from everyone, and just show them, who I really am.'
~Elsewhere in Hargeon~
"What? You mean to tell me this is the only magic shop in the whole town?" A young blonde girl questioned, slamming her hands on the counter. The young girl had a curvaceous body, with 89cm hips, and a G-Cup rack, packed a bit too snugly in her top.
"Afraid so. The people around here are more fishing folk, than they are magic folk. I recon most people in this town don't even know how to use magic. I built this shop to sell to the wizards who happen to be passing through." The shop keeper said.
"Oh then I came all this way for nothing." The woman sighed.
"Now, now don't say that little lady, I have all the latest goods right here. Let me show you a few." The shop keep said pulling a small box with a lacrima crystal on the top of it, and a lacrima crystal pad on the bottom. "This colors magic is popular, all the young girls really seem to like it. It lets you change the color of your clothes, any time you want." He explained as he began demonstrating how it worked.
"I already have one of those. What I really want are some powerful Gate Keys."
"Gate Keys huh? Now that's a rare request." The shop keep said as the girl spotted a silver key.
"Oh wow, it's the little doggy." She gushed.
"Yes, but that one's not very powerful you see."
"I know, but I really, really want it. So how much?"
"20,000J."
"I'm sorry but how much was that again?"
"I said 20,000J."
There was a moment of silence as the Shop Keeper and the girl looked at one another, before the girl sat on the counter, doing a sexy pose while letting some of her cleavage out.
"Aw come on, how much is it really worth? Surely you can cut me a deal." She said, trying to act all cute and seductive.
~Later~
"Ugh, I can't believe he only knocked off a 1,000J." The blonde girl grumbled, sauntering through the streets angrily. "That stubborn old geezer must be blind. That trick usually works. So much for using my feminine wilds." She complained before stopping, hearing a commotion down at the street below the bridge she was on. "I wonder what all the buzz it down there?"
"Are you serious? They're really here?" A woman cried in joy as she and her friend ran past the blonde girl.
"It's Salamander and Huntress."
"Salamander and Huntress?" The girl questioned before gasping. "As in the Elemental Sorcerers with rare magic you can't even buy in stores? Wow. They're in this dead end town?"
~Athena, Natsu, Happy~
"Hey Athena. Do you know where we're supposed to start looking?" Natsu asked. "If not can we stop for a bite to eat? I'm starving."
"I packed us some food before we left Magnolia, you can munch on the one I packed for you." Athena said, reaching into her bag on her hip, and pulling out a tin box wrapped in cloth. "Here, one bento courtesy of me."
"Thank you so much." Natsu smiled, taking the bento box. "Wait, why didn't you just give it to me on the train then?"
"Because it would have been a waste of my efforts, and cooking since you would have barfed it up. So I saved it for when we were off the train." Athena stated. "As for where we start looking. We need to head to the magic shop here in town. It's where we're supposed to meet up with the shop keeper who has the intel we're looking for." Athena explained. "It's the only magic shop in Hargeon so it shouldn't be too hard to find. The Shop Keepers a pervy old man though, so you're gonna have to do the talking."
"Salamander, Huntress." They heard a girl cry out in excitement. "They're so dreamy."
"An' so hot."
"Salamander?" Natsu and Happy repeated, hopefully.
"Huntress?" Athena said, before Natsu shoved the bento box back in her hands. "Hey, Natsu."
"We're in luck today Happy." Natsu shouted.
~At the Same Time~
The crowd was cheering for the duo team of a sorcerer and sorceress.
The man known as Salamander is a relatively tall and slim man with mildly short, spiky hair jutting outwards, with a long fringe left hanging over the upper left part of his face giving off a dark blue shade. He possesses a mildly rectangular face with sharp features, dark eyes and thin, dark eyebrows. He has a distinctive dark facial tattoo covering the right part of his forehead, just above his right eyebrow. He wore ornate clothing, with the most visible piece being a dark, high-collared cape almost reaching down to his knees, possessing a lighter inner part and light edges adorned by a pattern consisting of many rhombs, lined up one after the other.
The woman known as Huntress, was a bit shorter than Salamander, with luscious silver hair going all the way down to the back of her knees. Her features were lovely and flawless, with a tear drop shaped chin, smooth radiant tan skin, and a flawless complexion. Her clothes weren't as classy as Salamanders, but were rather skimpy, wearing only a thin ill fitting bikini top over her D-Cup chest, with a thong visible over the waistline of her booty shorts. She had a cat ear headband on her head, and a tail sewn into the back of her shorts.
"Aren't they just so handsome and beautiful?" One girl questioned as the duo struck a pose.
"They're so cool."
In the crowd, the blonde girl was looking at them, wondering why her heart was pounding so much.
'Why's my heart beating so fast?' She pondered. 'What's gotten into me all of a sudden, I'm not a lesbian, so why is my heart racing like this when I see Huntress and Salamander?'
"You ladies are all so sweet." Salamander said.
"Oh, hey there cutie." Huntress smiled, winking at Lucy as they both laid eyes on her.
'They looked at me.' The girl squealed. 'Is it 'cause they're both famous wizards? Is that why my hearts throbbing out of control? Could it be, am I in love with them both, am I destined to be with them?'
"Igneel it's me." Natsu shouted coming running through the crowd with Happy, pausing when he saw Salamander and Huntress. "Who the hell are the two of you?"
"Who are we?" Salamander and Huntress questioned at the same time.
"Hey Athena?" Natsu said as his companion joined them. "This her, the woman you're looking for?"
"No, that is not her." Athena said. "Who the hell are they though?"
"We are Salamander and Huntress." Salamander said.
"Surely you've heard of us before." Huntress smiled proudly.
"Hey wait a minute." They both called out as Natsu, Happy, and Athena were already leaving, not interested in them.
Athena put a hand on Natsu's head and pushed him to the ground as she ducked down, evading a couple of the girls that came charging at them with flying kicks, making them land in heaps of garbage.
"Attacking us for no good reason? You're a bunch a simps aren't ya?" Athena said, as she and Natsu got back up to their feet.
"Come now ladies, I'm sure they didn't mean anything malicious by it." Salamander said.
"They did seem like they were in a hurry. Oh, I know." Huntress smiled.
As Athena and Natsu dusted themselves off, Salamander and Huntress walked up to them, holding out a couple of autographed pieces of paper on them. Both of them having two signatures.
"Here, now you both can go brag to all your friends." Salamander smiled.
"Not interested." Athena spoke, before having to duck down and pull Natsu back to the ground with her. "An' by the by, you'd both better be careful, love charms like the rings you're wearing have been outlawed by the council for the last five years." She said, getting back up and pointing to the rings they both wore, with hearts on the surface.
"Guess it wasn't them after all." Happy said.
"Definitely not them." Athena and Natsu said at the same time.
"Clever girl. But I'm afraid we must be going ladies. We have business to attend to." Salamander smiled, before snapping his fingers, and they both went into the sky on a pillar of purple flames. "We're throwing a soiree on our yacht tonight. An' you're all invited. Especially the cutie in the cloak."
"In your dreams. I'd rather date a rabid Wyvern Grimm instead of you." Athena scoffed, as they flew off.
"Who the hell were those two?" Natsu questioned.
"I don't know but they were a couple of real creeps." Natsu, Happy, and Athena turned to look at the blonde girl came up to them. "Heya, thank you for your help."
~Later~
"My name's Lucy. It's nice to meet you." The blonde girl said, sitting across from Happy and Natsu, with Athena sitting beside her in the booth of the restaurant.
"It's nice to meet you to Lucy. My name's Athena, and the two stuffing their faces are Natsu and Happy." Athena introduced, chopping them both on the head. "Would you two mind your manners, you're making a huge mess."
"Sorry." Natsu said, as they slowed down on eating.
"You really have those two on a short leash don't you?" Lucy asked.
"I'm like the big sister of our group. So it's my job to keep them in line, and not embarrass us when out in public." Athena sighed.
"Evidently that Salamander and Huntress duo were using magic. Charm spells to hypnotize the ladies into thinking they were falling in love with them." Lucy said. "It's weird I never pegged Huntress to be a lesbian."
"It's more likely they're married, and their relationship is open to women, and men aren't allowed." Athena said. "But it's surprising you'd noticed the charms as well. That kind of magic has been illegal for half a decade now. No body even sells them anymore, because they have the power to attract people against their own wills. Effectively making those people slaves to whatever bidding the charm holders want."
"They must have gone through some real trouble to get their hands on that kind of magic." Lucy said. "I totally fell victim to his spell, but I snapped out of it when you came barging in when you did. I really can't thank you guys enough."
"Eh, it was nothing more than good timing." Athena said.
"Hold on, how come you didn't fall under the charm spell?" Lucy asked.
"Me?"
"Oh that's easy." Natsu said. "Athena's immune to most magics. There are rarely few psychological spells that can affect her, and charm spells aren't one of them."
"It's nothing special. I was just born that way." Athena said.
"That's still amazing." Lucy smiled. "I know I may not look it, but I'm a wizard too."
"Really? What kind of magic do you use?" Athena asked.
"I'm a Celestial Wizard. I'm contracted to several Celestial Spirits through their gate keys." Lucy said, holding up her ring of keys.
'Hold on, that's Taurus's key. So this is Jaune's mother.' Athena thought recognizing the key with the axe head. "That sounds like an interesting magic."
"Yeah, but I haven't joined a guild yet or anything." Lucy said. "Oh, I should probably explain huh?"
"No need, we're aware of the Guild System." Athena smiled.
"Oh, well that's good to know."
"It's unfortunate though. No one's really considered a full fledged wizard until they actually join a guild. I say that's just discrimination. Anyone who can defend themselves with magic, or use basic spells are wizards. Joining a guild shouldn't have to define that." Athena said.
"I know what you mean." Lucy said. "But there are tons of them all over the world. I heard it's really tough to get into the more popular ones, and the guild I wanna join is the most popular one there is. They're the greatest, and they're always featured in Sorcerer Weekly. Oh if I could actually convince them to let me in, I think I'd just about die."
"Really?" Athena smiled. 'Note to self, find Lucy before heading back to Fairy Tail and drag her to Magnolia to help her join Fairy Tail.'
"I'm telling you, someday I'm actually gonna join that guild, and when I do, I'm gonna make a ton of money on quests and jobs." Lucy said.
"You talk a lot." Happy said.
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot. You all came here trying to find a couple people, didn't you?" Lucy questioned.
"We're looking for Igneel and Yang." Happy smiled.
"We heard a rumor that a Salamander and Huntress would be coming through this town, so we came here to see 'em. Turns out it was somebody else." Natsu said.
"Yeah, that guy didn't look like a Salamander at all." Happy said.
"No kidding. I bet that poser can't even breathe fire like a real dragon." Natsu said.
"An' the girl with him actually looked a little too slutty to be a Huntress." Athena said.
"I'm sorry, but you're looking for someone who looks like a dragon?" Lucy asked.
"Nah, you got it all wrong. He doesn't look like a dragon, he is one." Natsu stated.
"What?" Lucy questioned.
"Aye. Igneel's a real live fire dragon." Happy said.
"Why the hell would a fire dragon show up in the middle of town? It doesn't make a lick of sense, and it's totally ridiculous." Lucy shouted.
"Actually, there's a fact most humans don't know about dragons." Athena said. "Dragons are similar to shape shifters, but they can only take on two forms. Their original dragon form, or they can take on a human form to blend in with the populace."
"Don't tell me you're here looking for a dragon too." Lucy said, as Athena took a swig of her drink.
"Nah. I'm actually looking for my mom." Athena said. "We were part of a five person team, but got separated ten years ago. So we've been searching ever since. The rumor we heard involved someone who went by Huntress, which was a title my mother was working towards. Guess it was someone in a pair of fake cat ears and a tail using the title."
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." Lucy said putting some money down. "Listen, I gotta get going, it was nice meeting you all."
"Keep the money. These two will be scarfing food down for a while, so that won't cover it. I'll be footing the bill for this one." Athena stated.
"Alright, that saves me the 1,000J I managed to save at an old man's magic shop. Can you believe he originally charged me 20,000J for a silver gate key? I was only able to knock it down to19,000J." Lucy said.
"His prices are so high, because he's the only magic shop in town, and not a lot of wizards come here." Athena explained. "He's got to pay the bills somehow."
"Still doesn't mean he has to rip people off."
"I know it's not fair, but that's just how the real world works." Athena said. "Hope to see you again sometime Lucy."
"You too Athena." Lucy smiled.
"You think she'll join Fairy Tail like she wants?" Natsu asked after Lucy left the building.
"I have a feeling she'll get to join sooner than she expected." Athena smirked.
~With Lucy~
"Oh my. Looks like the Fairy Tail guild's out there causing trouble again. But they're not as bad as they used to be. Someone's been straightening out their destructive habits over the last few years. A new member they recruited around that time perhaps?" Lucy questioned, sitting on a park bench, reading an issue of Sorcerer Weekly. "Demon bandit clan wiped out, with no damage to the homes, or property, but the forest outside of the village was decimated? Talk about going overboard while protecting innocent people at the same time." She smiled before flipping the page. "Ah, the centerfolds Mirajane, she's so pretty. I wish I knew how to get to be a member. Do you have to apply, maybe interview with them? I don't know. But I'm so gonna join Fairy Tail, they're totally the coolest guild ever."
"What was that? You want to join Fairy Tail?"
"Ah, Salamander." Lucy said, going on the defensive.
"I've been looking all over for you. I wanted to personally invite you to the party I'm having on my yacht tonight." Salamander said. "Huntress couldn't come as she's a bit too busy preparing for the soiree."
"Your charm spell won't work on me. That magic's weakness is awareness." Lucy said. "It doesn't work on people if they know you're using it."
"Just as I thought. I guessed you were a wizard the moment I laid eyes on you." Salamander said. "No matter, the invitation still stands."
"Well you can forget it. I wouldn't be caught dead at a party being thrown by a couple of creeps like you and your partner!" Lucy said.
"A creep, why would you call me that?" Salamander asked.
"Your spell. Using it to make yourself more popular!" Lucy pointed out.
"Don't be like that my dear, it's all in good fun." Salamander said. "Huntress and I just wanted to feel like celebrities at our own party, can you blame me?"
"This just proves that even famous wizards can be big idiots." Lucy said.
"You wish to join the Fairy Tail guild right?" Salamander questioned. "Have you ever heard about Salamander and Huntress, two of Fairy Tail's Wizards?"
"Well yeah. You're telling me you're him, and your partner is that Huntress? You're both from Fairy Tail?" Lucy questioned.
"That's correct, and if you wanna join I could probably put in a good word for you." Salamander said.
~Athena, Natsu, Happy~
"Ooh." Athena gasped, stopping as she raised her mug to her lips.
"What's wrong?" Natsu asked, looking up at her.
"I just got the worst feeling. Someone who's not a part of the guild is using the Fairy Tail name for something deceitful." Athena said, putting her mug down, before getting up. "Eat as much as this can get you, but no more. I'm heading out to do some investigating."
"Where are you going to search?" Natsu questioned.
"There's a request outpost for people to submit requests to the guilds." Athena said. "I might know who this Salamander is. I didn't notice it at first, but he's wearing a discontinued brand of cologne that someone specific kicked out of the Titan Nose guild uses. Did a couple jobs with him a few years back when he was still part of an official guild. He might have changed looks a lot since then, but I'd recognize the scent of that cologne."
"Where do you wanna meet up at?" Natsu asked.
"The last train for Magnolia departs at ten. This investigation might take a while, so we'll meet back up at the station at nine-thirty." Athena said.
"Got it." Natsu said.
Athena left the establishment, intending to find out what was going on, and who that Salamander was. Things weren't looking good if Fairy Tail's good name and reputation was involved, at least for those pretending to be from Fairy Tail.
~That Night~
"Hehe, that was quite a meal, 'eh Happy?" Natsu questioned.
"Aye." Happy smiled. "So we meet back up with Athena in an hour, right?"
"She did say nine-thirty." Natsu said. "An' if we run the station is only ten minutes away. But let's take our time."
"Agreed." Happy said, before looking out and spotting something on the lake. "Hey, do you think that's the boat they Salamander guy and Huntress lady are hosting their party?"
"Oh, I'm gonna hurl." Natsu said, after seeing the boat.
"Come on, it's not like we're gonna actually go or anything." Happy said.
"Oh my gosh, that's Salamander and Huntress's yacht isn't it?" They overheard a woman say excited.
"I wish I could have gone to their party."
"Who's Salamander and Huntress?"
"For real? You're never heard of Salamander or Huntress?"
"They're the most amazing tag team duo of Wizards ever to walk the earth."
"An' they're wizards from Fairy Tail."
"Fairy Tail?" Natsu questioned, looking back out at the ship. "Nope, I'm gonna hurl."
"Looks like Athena's little feeling was right on the money." Happy said.
"It was."
"Athena." Happy said turning around to see her.
"What'd you find out?" Natsu asked.
"Nothing good." Athena said. "We need to act fast, it's most likely that ship is intended on leaving the jurisdiction of the Fiore Kingdom. Natsu, I'm gonna need you to accompany me. Happy, think you can fly him there?"
"Aye."
"Then put this on, and let's go."
~Yacht~
"It's Lucy right?" Salamander questioned, pouring three drinks.
"That's such a lovely name." Huntress smiled.
"Yeah, thanks." Lucy said.
"I'd like to toast your beauty." Salamander said, snapping his fingers and making the juice float. "Now, open up wide Lucy. Savor the taste of each flavorful drop as it enters your mouth."
"Don't be shy. It's quite a delectable drink." Huntress smiled.
"Creepy." Lucy said getting the chills, as she opened her mouth. As the juice was floating to her, Lucy realized something, before she stood up and smacked the drink away. "What do you think you're doing?" She questioned. "I know what you're up to. You're trying to use sleep magic on me."
"My, you are quite the clever one." Huntress smiled.
"Look, I don't want to give you the wrong idea. Yes, I wanna join Fairy Tail more than anything, but I'm not gonna sleep with the two of you to make that happen." Lucy stated.
"That's how you managed to invite her on board?" Huntress questioned, turning to Salamander with a mischievous smile.
"She's quite a handful, isn't she?" Salamander questioned, before the curtains around them opened up, revealing all sorts of shady men, holding one or two unconscious girls.
"What's going on here?" Lucy questioned.
"Welcome aboard our ship." Huntress smiled. "You'd be wise to behave yourself until we make it to Bosco."
"We wouldn't want to damage the merchandise." Salamander stated. "Don't make me angry."
"We're going to Bosco? You said you'd get me into Fairy Tail."
"Forget it. That was just a lie I told you to lure you here and make you one of our slaves." Salamander stated.
"How could you? You're gonna kidnap all these girls?" Lucy questioned.
"That's our Salamander and Huntress for ya." One of the pirates said.
"We got a big haul this time."
"Why you…"
The moment Lucy pulled out her keys, Salamander snapped his fingers, using a whip of purple flames to knock them away, before Huntress grabbed Lucy's arm and restrained her, while Salamander grabbed the keys.
"These are Celestial Gate keys. Only the Wizard contracted to the spirits connected to these can use them. So they're of no use to me." Salamander said, tossing them out the porthole to the ocean outside.
"Why'd you do that idiot? Golden Gate keys sell for thousands of Jewel for just one. There were several on there." Huntress said.
"It wouldn't have mattered if we'd sold them or not." Salamander said.
"Guess you're right. The blonde is still alive, which means no one can make a new contract with her until she's dead." Huntress stated.
"You used magic to take advantage of others." Lucy said angrily. "You're the worst Wizard alive."
Seconds after she declared that, someone came crashing in through the ceiling, shattering the wood to splinters. Looking towards who'd landed on in the room, Lucy was amazed to see that it was Natsu, and he had a determined, and angry look on his face, as he knocked Huntress off of her.
"Natsu." Lucy said.
"Well what do you know." The salmon haired wizard smiled, grabbing something under his scarf. "Looks like the charm works like she said it does."
"Hey, what are you doing here Lucy?"
Lucy looked up to see Happy flying above the hole Natsu made.
"Oh Happy, this jerk tricked me. He said he was gonna get me into Fairy Tail." Lucy said. "Hold up, since when do you have wings?"
"I'll explain that later okay?" Happy questioned, as his tail wrapped around Lucy's waist. "Hold on." He said, before flying away, bringing Lucy with him.
"Wait where's Athena?" Lucy questioned.
"A question better left to not be here." Happy said.
"After them, we can't let them report this to the Magic Council." Salamander called out.
"Boss…" Someone called out, running to him. "We've got a problem. There's someone directly in the path of the ship. It's like they're floating above the water without any wings."
Out in the open sea, Athena floated in the air, her cloak bellowing in the wind as she removed it, revealing her hair was tied in a braided rope, reaching down a little way past her ass, with a few more piercings in her cat ears, as she wore a tied off backless halter top, that strained to keep her J-Cup chest contained, looking a couple sizes too small, leaving her bare belly exposed, showing off the navel piercing she had, with a pair of black thigh high combat heels with white souls, and a mini skort as short as daisy dukes.
"Let's see, how you like being taken against your will." Athena growled, black and sky blue flames spewing from her eyes, and gusts of wind began swirling from her hands, as black and red armored samurai bracers formed on her forearms, with her triple colored hair turning black, and her eyes going black with red irises.
"What the hell kind of magic allows someone to leak flames from their eyes?" Salamander questioned looking through a telescope. "Wait, those eyes. They're not human."
"Give me that." Huntress said, grabbing the telescope. "What the hell is she? Magic like that hasn't been seen, in over a thousand years."
"She's a monster." Salamander stated.
"That's Athena's power." Natsu smirked, grabbing Salamander by the shoulder, before turning him around, and punching him in the face. "You might wanna hold onto something. The sea's about to get bumpy."
Athena let out a battle cry, unleashing a wave of her magic, that caused the ocean below her to ripple and make the waves bigger and stronger, sending the ship back towards the harbor, before Athena touched the water, and as the boat was turning upside down in the middle of a wave, it froze in place, sending all the pirates and bandits out of the ship, and onto the ice.
"What in the world was that? Where'd all this ice come from?" Lucy questioned as Happy put her down on the ice's surface.
"The hell happened?" Salamander questioned, sitting up rubbing his head.
"I don't know, but there goes our merchandise." Huntress said, as the women who'd come to the party went running along the ice, following it back to the harbor.
"After them you idiots." Salamander called out.
As the pirates went chasing after the women, the ice began to crack, and split, separating them from the women they were chasing after, rendering the girls safe from their would be kidnappers, before a wall of ice sprouted upwards, blocking their path.
"Useless, every one of them." Huntress growled.
"Aw, don't be too hard on them Nebula." Athena said gently floating to the surface of the ice, and standing proud. "They're just not as competent as you thought. So really this is all on you."
"How did you know my name?" Huntress, or rather Nebula, questioned stepping back from Athena.
"Way to sound harsh there Athena." Natsu smiled as he stepped up to Athena's side. "So you both claim to be part of Fairy Tail guild."
"What's it to you? Kill 'em." Salamander ordered.
"Off with their heads." Nebula shouted.
Two of the kidnapping bandits charged at Athena and Natsu.
"Wait don't." Lucy cried out, before Happy stopped her from running to them.
"Let us get a closer look at your faces." Athena stated as Natsu threw his jacket to the side.
"Watch out." Lucy called out to them.
"Don't worry about those two." Happy said, snacking on a fish he pulled out from his sack on his back. "I probably should have mentioned this sooner, but they're both wizards too." He smiled, leaving Lucy stunned.
As the two ran to attack Natsu and Athena, the duo of wizards looked at their coming assaulters without amusement, before Natsu smacked away one of them, while Athena performed a spinning back kick on the other, showing her back to them as she planted her feet firmly on the ice again.
"My name is Natsu."
"An' my name is Athena. We're both Fairy Tail Wizards, and we've never seen your sorry faces in our guildhall before." Athena added, looking over her shoulder to glare at them.
"You've gotta be kidding me." Lucy said. "So Natsu and Athena are Fairy Tail Wizards?"
"That mark on his arm, and on her back." One of the pirates said, seeing the red mark on Natsu's shoulder, and the rainbow colored mark on Athena's back in a tribal pattern. "These two are the real deal Bora."
"Don't call me that you idiot."
"I know him. Bora the Prominence. Rumor has it he was kicked out of the Titan Nose guild for bad behavior." Happy said.
"An' that bad behavior Happy, was treating women like nothing but objects, and sex toys." Athena said, her the flames spewing from her eyes intensifying.
"I'll take care of him Athena, you handle… what did you call her again?" Natsu questioned.
"Nebula the Avaricious." Athena said. "She was once part of the Dark Guild Eisenwald, but left because she wanted more than they could give her. She's wanted, and the reward for her capture is S-Class level reward, because of how many innocent people's blood she's spilt."
"I have no idea what you two are trying to do here, and I don't care if you're a good guy, bad guy, or what." Natsu said, marching towards Bora. "We're not gonna let you dirty the Fairy Tail Guilds name."
"An' just what the hell are you gonna do about it, stop me?" Bora questioned. "Prominence Typhoon." He chanted, sending a massive fire attack spell at them."
The spell made contact, and created an explosion, before it began to burn on the ice.
"Natsu, Athena." Lucy cried out, but was stopped when Happy flew in front of her, his back in her face.
"That's just how it goes." Bora said. "The bigger the talk, the weaker the man."
"Or woman in this case." Nebula said. "Now come on, if we hurry we can still grab the…"
"Man, this is gross." Natsu's muffled voice came from the flames. "Are you sure you're really a Fire Wizard? These are the nastiest flames I've ever tasted." He said as he devoured the flames surrounding him, surprising everyone, aside from Happy, witnessing this.
"Don't be picky Natsu, he was kind enough to provide you with a power boost." Athena said, standing next to him, unscathed, dusting off her shoulders.
"Fair enough. Thanks for the grub poser." Natsu said.
"What the hell's going on here, who are these two?" Bora questioned.
"Fire magic doesn't work on Natsu, or Athena." Happy smiled.
"I've never seen anything like that." Lucy said in awe.
"Now I've got a fire in my belly that's raging to get out." He declared slamming his fists together.
"Just give them a warning shot Natsu." Athena smiled as her body began to glow.
"Here goes." Natsu stated. "Fire Dragon: ROAR."
From his mouth, Natsu sent a blazing inferno towards the kidnappers.
"Full body Takeover: Grimm Soul Dragoness. Dragon's Fury." Athena chanted as the light vanished from her body, as she now sported dragon wings on her back, horns on her head, and scales on her neck and torso, with a scaly draconic tail with a blade at the end, while her clothes remained the same, as she sent a blade of dark flames at the pirates, turning Natsu's breath attack into a flaming sickle.
The impact caused the ice bellow them to crack, while Bora and Nebula were safe as Bora managed to get them out of the way in time.
"Hey Bora, Nebula. I swear I've seen these two before. His pink hair, the scaly looking scarf. Her multicolored hair, and the dual colored flames spewing from her tear ducts. There's no doubt about it, they gotta be the real ones."
"Salamander, Huntress?" Lucy gasped.
"I hope you all are paying attention." Natsu declared as he covered his fists in flames.
"This is what a couple of Fairy Tail Wizards can do." Athena added.
Charging at Bora and Nebula, Athena and Natsu each took on their poser opposites, fighting them on the ice Athena's power had created.
"I don't get it. What is going on?" Lucy questioned.
"Natsu has dragon lungs that allow him to breathe fire. Dragon scales to help him to dissolve the fire, and dragon claws for attacking with fire." Happy explained. "His brand of fire magic, is one that allows his body to take on all the qualities of a dragon. It's an ancient spell that's rarely used anymore. This particular magic was originally used to deal with dragons. It's called Dragonslayer Magic. Igneel was the one who taught it to him."
"Seriously? But what about Athena?"
"That's a bit tricky. Athena's powerful, as she has a few types of powerful magic at her disposal. She had Takeover Magic, which allows her to take on the form of any magical beast she uses the Takeover Spell on. Then there's the magic that allows her eyes to spew flames from her tear ducts. According to her, that kind of magic is known as Elemental Maiden Magic, and she has the power of two Maidens. When in a Takeover form, Athena gains the attributes of said form, such as their magical abilities, and is able to combine it with her Maiden Magic. Her Dragoness form you see right now, allows her to use the same type of magic as Natsu, but the element changes depending on the situation."
"Fire Dragon: Iron Fist." Natsu and Athena cried out as they both used the same attack to finish off their opponents.
Both opponents went flying into each other, and through the wall of ice, before they painfully landed in the port, creating a divot leading into town.
Both Athena and Natsu landed on the ice, fist bumping each other, before the ice beneath them began to crack.
"Oh crap, the ice is cracking. We gotta go." Natsu said.
"Not until I get my yacht." Athena said, running to the frozen in air ship.
"What is she talking about?" Lucy questioned.
"When Athena sees something she likes that belonged to a bad guy, she'll go for it and take it." Happy said.
Placing her hand on the yacht, the ship began to glow before it vanished.
"Where the hell did it go?" Lucy questioned.
"I'll explain that later, right now, we need to go." Natsu said, grabbing Lucy's arm and running off with Happy and Athena flying beside them.
"Wait, where the hell are you taking me?" Lucy questioned.
"Just shut up and come on. You said you wanted to join Fairy Tail didn't you?" Natsu questioned as he used his fire to leap over the gap of water between platforms of ice, and running to the port.
Lucy just looked at Natsu with Athena looking down at her by his side, both of them smiling.
"So let's go." Natsu smiled.
