Saiyan of 3-E

The light was dim in the examination room, as a young woman was sitting at the desk in the room, a sketch pad in her sights, and an artist's pencil in her hand. But she couldn't move herself to draw anything as she was still in pain from the treatments she'd been put through that day.

"Damn it why'd my parents force me into agreeing to this project?" She questioned as she dropped the pencil. "All because I was sent to E-Class, I'm suddenly not worth anything to them?"

On the other side of the room, separated in two by a glass wall, stood a young woman with fair skin and short black hair with bangs that go past her brown eyes, framing her face. She also has a petite frame save for her large bust. Her name is Aguri Yukimura.

"Good evening Kali. I hope you're doing better." Yukimura said.

"It's been three hours since I was put through that hellish treatment." Kali said, lying her head down in her arms on her desk. "My body still feels like it's burning with the flames of hell."

"According to our research, the burning sensation is a side effect that's actually quite normal to experience with the Non-Dark Matter treatment you're being put through." Yukimura explained. "It's actually quite amazing how you're body is able to handle the treatments."

"How much longer will I have to be here for?" Kali questioned. "This is nothing but a punishment my parents are putting me through for the being put in E-Class. The class you teach Ms. Yukimura."

"Yes I know this seems harsh for your parents to resort to as punishment for being sent to the end class. But just hang on a little longer. If we succeed in our treatments on your DNA, we'll find a way to cure cancer without radiation treatments, or cure dementia or…"

"Is that what you tell yourself at night to help you sleep?" Kali questioned, looking to Yukimura with tears in her eyes, and an angered expression on her face. "Is that what you tell yourself, to justify the illegal experimentation you're doing on a child? I've only been here for a month, and I already feel like I'm dying. I'm only a second year middle school student. Sure the school's authorizing my off campus schooling, and you're bringing me my homework and exams, but that doesn't change the fact, I'll never get to leave this facility once the experiments are done and over with. I. Have. No. Future. I thought a teacher was supposed to help their students go beyond their educational limits, and support their future goals, not lock them up and treat them as lab rats, while shattering their dreams." Kali exclaimed, before putting her head down again.

Yukimura was taken aback by Kali's words. True, she wasn't actually a volunteer for this project, she was actually sold to the facility by her mother and father. However, Kali's demotion into E-Class wasn't the actual reason why her parents had sold her to the facility for these tests. But the words that Kali spoke, had actually struck a, cord within the middle school teacher.

"Kali, I think there's something you should actually know about you, that your parents have been keeping hidden your whole life." Ms. Yukimura said, taking a seat. "You're aware of the fact you're adopted yes?"

"Of course I'm aware of that fact. My parents found me abandoned and alone in the Suicide Forest when they were on a research expedition." Kali acknowledged. "So what?"

Yukimura let out a deep breath, as if convincing herself to push ahead, and brought up a few images on her tablet.

"Take a look at these." Yukimura said, holding the device up for Kali to see. "Do these images hold anything that look familiar to you?"

Kali looked towards the tablet, and moved closer to get a better view of the pictures. As Yukimura was scrolling through the images, Kali could see that they weren't anything ordinary. They were of a white spherical pod like machine with a clear circular window, busted open, with the door destroyed beyond repair, as well as giant footprints looking like they belonged to a bipedal monster.

"It's hazy, but I do remember something like those." Kali said.

"Some years ago, this space pod was discovered in the Suicide Forest. The scientists of then had determined whatever was inside it, could grow to a monstrous size, and be very dangerous to the people of this world." Yukimura said.

"What, like aliens?" Kali asked.

"Exactly like aliens. The government spent years searching for you, and commission the facility to run tests if you were ever found. An' recently, with our scientific knowledge and a background check of the citizen who were registered around the time of the pod's appearance, we were able to deduce what had happened, and tracked down whatever was in that pod, a creature we learned who mainly looks human, but is capable of inhuman things, and from the data recovered from the pod, it's known as a Saiyan. Namely, you."

"Me?" Kali asked. "You can't be serious. I'm not an alien, or a Saiyan, or whatever it's called."

"When we performed a physical on you, we discovered a small scar on the small of your back, like something had been cut or removed from that area."

"Yeah, when I was an infant, my parents had to get a parasite that had lodged itself there, surgically removed from my body, otherwise it'd have been the end of me." Kali explained.

"It wasn't a parasite. It was something that they removed themselves, and was once a part of you." Yukimura said.

Pulling up another image on her tablet, Yukimura held the device up to the glass wall, and Kali saw, in the photograph, a brown furred monkey tail, that looked like it had been preserved by a taxidermist, a profession she knew her father was part of, and she recognized the tail to boot.

"That's the monkey tail from my father's collection of preserved rare and exotic creatures." Kali stated.

"After analyzing the DNA of the tail, and comparing it to a sample of your DNA we took, we discovered that this tail was actually once a part of you." Yukimura said showing her the DNA Graphs. "The scar on your lower back is where it was before your parents removed it. Your father kept the tail, as a trophy of sorts, to prove he had a one of a kind creature in his collection, living in his house."

"This can't be." Kali said, plopping down on her bed. "It's just not possible."

"I'm sorry that the truth was hidden from you Kali, but the money your parents got, was reward money for turning you in, not selling you to the facility." Yukimura said getting up from her seat. "I'm not sure if this helps, but we have a new test subject you'll be able to interact, and form relations with. We're trying to do what we can in order to make you as comfortable as possible, so please try to hang in there and work with us." She explained. "For what it's worth Kali, I was against this from the start. I tried to plead with my fiancé about turning you into a test subject, and a living weapon for the government to exploit, I also tried to plead for alerting the authorities, and having them arresting your parents for child abandonment and trafficking. I didn't win that argument obviously. But that doesn't mean I won't do what I can to help you through this as much as I can, even help you through the identity crisis you're having. So please, I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive a failure of a teacher like me, and give me a second chance."

Kali was quiet, and didn't give any verbal responses. Yukimura took that as a cue for not wanting to speak with her anymore, so she turned to leave, a saddened look on her face, but as soon as she was about to walk out that door, her head perked up, hearing Kali speak.

"Next time you visit, could you please bring me a, Fruit Punch Rockstar? They're my favorite drink right after Dr. Pepper, and I haven't had either of one or the other since before I got here." Kali said, in a calming tone.

Yukimura smiled, before standing up straight again, and turning to look at Kali, who had moved to lay in her bed, her back to Yukimura, but she seemed more relaxed, and was surprisingly accepting the information she'd just received. Yukimura could tell, Kali would need time to properly process what she'd been told, but that was something she knew the facility wouldn't give, but that didn't mean Yukimura wouldn't be willing to do her best to try and help the Saiyan girl.

"Of course. Goodnight Kali." Yukimura smiled. "By the way, before I forget, there's something you should know."

"What's that?" Kali asked.

"Our new subject, he's an assassin. So, I'll understand if you don't want to get too close to him at first." Yukimura said. "But I do expect you to try and get along with him. Your safety around him will be our top priority."

"All right. What was his code name though?" Kali asked, turning over to look at Yukimura.

"His code name?"

"You know, his title, the name he went by as an assassin?"

"Oh, well he was known as the world's deadliest assassin. His code name was, the Reaper." Yukimura said.

"How'd you end up getting him then?"

"Well, that I'm not sure of. But he's very strong and skilled in martial arts." Yukimura said. "Now get some sleep. You'll be spending tomorrow getting to know him before your next treatment."

"All right." Kali yawned, before falling asleep.

Yukimura turned off the lights to Kali's examination room, before leaving to go do her greetings to their other test subject.

"I'm certainly going to have my hands full with taking care of these two." Yukimura chuckled.

~The Following Day~

Kali sighed as she was escorted into a room with chained down workout equipment and martial arts training dummies that could spin. She still felt sore from her treatment yesterday, and was still processing and registering what Ms. Yukimura had told her, but the people running the facility didn't seem to care, which wasn't anything new, she was used to at this point, having gone through the same routine for a month already. The point of this room was quite simple. The people who ran these labs, didn't want their test subjects to get fat and lazy, as it might interfere and nullify the research data, so during the day time, between treatments, they'd be sent to the exercise room, or the rec-room, as Yukimura called it, with working out being well known as a recreational activity in modern day and age.

Kali had been given a primary schedule of what her workout sessions would be like. It looked mainly like a simple workout that a military drill instructor would come up with, but on a far more intense scale.

"So, what are they training me to become a Super-Soldier or something?" Kali questioned. "I mean, I guess that would be my only career option at this point if I were to mutate into some sort of freak thanks to the experiments they're putting me through."

"They're putting you through experiments as well?"

Kali jumped and twisted around, while moving back, seeing that someone had come up behind her. The person who had snuck up on her, was rather tall, with black hair, a slender build, and pale skin. He wore the same medical garments that she wore, but they were more, fit for a man his size and stature.

"Uh, yeah they are." Kali said. "The cover story is that I either volunteered for the experiments to make up school credit to be moved back into A-Class in my school, to avoid flunking out and spend the rest of my middle school years in the End Class."

"But that's not the truth, is it?" The man asked.

"No, it's not." Kali said.

"You're keeping your guard up, smart of you to do, especially with me in the room." The man said, taking a step to her, before he was gone, and whispered to her from behind. "But that's not enough to survive against, the Reaper."

Kali's eyes widened, before she ducked down, causing his arm to swing over her head, and jumped forward with a roll, kicking him on the underside of the jaw with her initial dive, before she curled up and rolled forward to get away from him.

"Impressive, you managed to dodge my attack and land a hit of your own on me." He smiled messaging his sore jaw. "Not that it would have mattered if you hadn't dodged my attack. The worst that would have happened to you, would have been a bruise on your cheek. Your skills and reflexes are nothing to scoff at, even if you are a child."

"Don't think too highly of me." Kali sighed, lowering her guard a bit. "Whatever the hell these scientist whack-jobs are doing to me, has heightened my reflexes, my sense of danger, and both my hearing and sense of smell. But what are you doing in here? You just got to the facility yesterday didn't you? I've been here a month, and they finally allowed me to be able to use the training facility."

"Is that a fact?"

"It is."

"Please explain."

"Sure thing. Usually, how things go, are you have to be here a month at least, before you're given permission to be able to use the training facility here at the labs." Kali explained.

"Huh, well apparently, I'm here to train someone and teach them my skills of the trade for being an assassin. Specifically, martial arts. An' since you're the only one in here, aside from me, I guess that means you're my new student. So call me Reaper, okay kid?" Reaper exclaimed. "Honestly I'm not too fond of the idea, since my last pupil is the reason why I'm here in the first place, but I can't exactly say no, to the people running this joint."

"Oh I get it now. I'm not just being trained and experimented on for just anything." Kali exclaimed. "An' I'm not being trained to be a Super-Soldier either. The wack-jobs running this facility, are training me to be the ultimate assassin for the Ministry of Defense, so I can do their dirty work."

"I guess that's their end goal, they never mentioned it. But I was told to bring you this." Reaper said, holding up a plastic grocery bag.

Kali stepped forward, confident Reaper wouldn't pull anything, and took the bag from him with a thanks. Looking inside the bag, she smiled, seeing a four pack of Fruit Punch Rockstars, and two One Liter's of Dr. Pepper, and they seemed ice cold to.

"She must have bought these last night and put them in her fridge to cool them for me." Kali smiled. "Thank you Ms. Yukimura."

"Now then, why don't we get started on your lessons shall we?" Reaper asked.

~A Year Later~

"Good, keep your balance and strike when you feel it's necessary." Reaper exclaimed, redirecting Kali's strikes, as she wielded a rubber blade. "Try not to let the target know what you're aiming for. Visualize what your goal is, and don't let them know where you intend to strike until it's too late."

It had been about a year since Kali had started training with Reaper, and since he'd been administered to the labs. To Reaper's surprise, Kali's excelled in her lessons in martial arts training, and the art of assassination, far faster than his previous protégé ever could. Kali just thought it was part of her Saiyan heritage.

She'd never actually taken a life yet, aside from wild animals during supervised outings to make sure she didn't make a run for it, but speed and agility were incredible, almost feline. If he was being honest, he was only able to maintain avoiding getting hit by her, due to the speed he gained from the experiments he'd been put through, if he didn't have that speed, he wasn't sure he'd be able to survive against her attacks, even if she was holding back the power she gained through the experiments she went through. Mainly, her enhanced natural ability to control life energy, or Ki.

Reaper knew Kali was under strict orders to not use her genetically spliced abilities unless out in the field during training. But he could see, Kali was straining herself to remain focused in today's lesson.

"All right, that's enough for now." Reaper said. "You've pushed yourself to your limit, and you've got another treatment to go through this evening."

"I hate having to go through my treatments." Kali complained, putting her training knife away.

Kali had changed a lot in her time at the labs. The most noticeable being, that despite her age, Kali was growing out and maturing quite faster than other girls in her age group, making her look more like a growth stunted college student instead of a middle school girl, which was deduced to be a side effect to the treatments and training she'd been going through over the past thirteen months.

"Be that as it may, remember your training. I'm sure you'll be able to work things out eventually." Reaper said.

"You always say that, but I haven't been able to find an opportunity to leave without getting my face plastered on a wanted poster." Kali said.

"Now that's enough negativity, we have to get back to our rooms. Training time is over, and so is recreational time."

Kali sighed, and went to the door. The rules were, they had to leave, one at a time. Kali's room was located, closest to the training facility, so she always left first.

When she got back to her room, she grabbed a marker, and went to one of the walls, where she had made a mural, one that looked like it was done by Picasso, of Kali and Reaper sparring while she was dressed in what she considered for assassin gear, and Reaper was dressed in his own gear, both of them smiling as they fought on equal footing with actual .

"That mural's really beautiful Kali." Yukimura said, coming into her side of the room, with a smile on her face.

"Thanks."

"You've been working on it for months now, huh?" Yukimura questioned.

"About six months. I just wish Reaper Sensei could see it." Kali said.

"I'm sure he'd appreciate it." Yukimura said.

"So, what's up Ms. Yukimura?"

"Your test scores are in. Top of the finals like the first term." Yukimura said. "I was only able to come and give you your results. They're on your desk, plus a little something from me."

Kali turned to her desk, and found that there was a big orange envelope and a small parcel on it, sitting on her desk.

"Thanks Yukimura Sensei." Kali smiled.

"I want to say I'm sorry again. I know this life isn't ideal, and I wish there was more I could do, but it's just not possible at the moment. But I'm sure the time will arise." Yukimura said.

"Right." Kali sighed.

"Be good and I'll bring you a red velvet cupcake tomorrow." Yukimura smiled.

"All right." Kali said as Yukimura left.

Sitting on her bed, after finishing the final touches on the mural, Kali took the parcel and opened the small box, finding a small amethyst gemstone in the shape of a dog tag, with the Kanji word, Flame, engraved on the stone. A necklace, on a string of leather, with a note inside.

"Kali, I apologize for what you've been going through, and I wish that I could free you, but I am unable to. I know this won't mean much, but I'm hoping this will at least put a smile on your face. You've been working so hard, I thought you could use a good luck charm for the missions you'll be deployed on. Sincerely Aguri Yukimura." Kali read aloud.

Looking at the necklace, Kali put it on, and smiled, remembering how Reaper said she had a brilliant purple flame burning with a searing hot passion within her, which is what allowed her to stay strong, and never give up on being true to herself. He must have told Yukimura that, because Kali had zero recollection of him saying that during one of the training sessions the middle school Sensei, sat in on to observe them and their behavior.

Thankfully, the facility found Kali to be less of a threat than Reaper, despite being a completely different species that had never before been seen on their planet, at least not that they know of, so they were a little more laxed with the security precautions around her, despite splicing her DNA, which allowed her to do some major crazy things. The higher ups of the facility, also allowed her the privilege for a mini-fridge that could hold a month's worth of Fruit Punch Rockstars and Dr. Pepper, which only lasted her about half a week, and was replenished every time it was empty.

Grabbing one of the aforementioned drinks, Kali guzzled it down, before the door to her room opened up. She knew what that meant when her escort came. An' she had a bit of a distasteful anger towards her escort. Seeing how he was Yukimura's abusive and neglectful fiancé, she had her justified reasons to hate him, especially with the way he treated women like nothing but meat and objects. She's even seen him fondling other female coworkers, and cheating on Yukimura.

After drinking the rest of her Rockstar, and grabbing another unopened one, Kali tossed the empty can in the recycle, and walked in front of him to the room where she was being tested on both her physical and mental capabilities, for the billionth time. Unlike Reaper Sensei, Kali she wasn't a killer, and the labs extent on not seeing her as a threat, reached its end when it came to her treatments and testing, thus she did not have to be escorted like Reaper, strapped on a testing bed, with restraints that couldn't be any less comfortable.

"Just so we're clear, you will keep your hands off me." Kali said, not having to look back at Kotaro Yanagisawa, to tell him that.

"Wouldn't dream of it." Kotaro said.

When Kali's body had first started developing, Kotaro saw fit to try and feel her up as he had the other female staff and scientists. Of course that landed him with an arm dislocated at the wrist, elbow, and shoulder, but Kali paid the price for it, when he struck back, breaking her arm. Thankfully, it healed within three days thanks to some of the experiments she'd been put through. An' with an investigation held by the higher ups, as well as the head of security, any false claims Kotaro made about Kali making an escape attempt were dissuaded and thrown out the window, thus earning him a month's suspension without pay, and a hefty salary cut accompanied by a temporary demotion for, damaging an asset, as the higher ups put it.

It kinda pissed her off, that she was labeled as an asset, but she was happy that she managed to stain Kotaro's professional records, as a scientist and descent person, permanently at least. But as payback, she's suspected Kotaro has been making the experiments and tests more intense than they should be.

Entering the testing room, Kali found it was actually physical testing today. It wasn't uncommon for them to be injecting her with the serum and forcing electric shocks through her body, as she was forced to practice parkour. At this point, she was able to go through the entire course, without her nerves reacting to the electric shocks, no matter how strong they were.

Removing her medical clothes, Kali revealed she wore a black sports bra, and matching tight mini-shorts. She usually wore a clean pair of them, due to either training with Reaper, or the physical training she'd be going through like today.

"Same as normal, we'll clock your top speed, and force your body to adapt to the serum injected into your bloodstream and muscle fibers, with electrical currants as you perform parkour in the physical testing room." Kotaro said, as Kali was being hooked up to the wireless sensors and electric voltage pads.

"As is every time I go through this." Kali sighed. "I'm seriously not interested in hearing your voice right now. So do me a favor, and shut your trap."

Kotaro glared at her, as he prepped the needles. Instead of making it the normal dose of a third of the needle, like protocol said to do, he filled them all the way, to the brim, making sure there were no air bubbles, before he went and injected both her arms, and legs, with two needles each, one in her forearms, one in her upper arms, and one in her lower legs and upper legs, the final two were for either side of her spinal cord. The pain caused her to flinch, but it wasn't as bad as it used to be, especially after going a full year with this sort of treatment, but she did notice it felt a lot different than before.

"Ready, and…"

"Warning. Warning. Moon base destruction."

"What? You stay here. You two, make sure she doesn't do anything to try and escape." Kotaro said, turning to run towards the door.

"Right." They said.

Kali sighed, as Kotaro left the physical testing room, as she realized that the training would be put on hold. She didn't know what was going on, but it sounded bad, so to make sure she didn't get stressed out, Kali had requested to listen to her I-Pod touch Gen7, and started up her music. She was only allowed to have it during her physical testing, or when she was doing her homework, and they'd signal for her to start or stop with a pattern of light electric shocks from the pad on the back of her neck, three to signal the start of the physical test, and two to signal to stop.

The song she chose to bring on was a favorite of hers from an anime from America, by a studio called Rooster Teeth. The song she started playing, was known as, On Your Knees by Jeff Williams featuring the cast of Red-vs-Blue. In fact, it's the song she always started out her physical training and testing on.

Kali was so caught up in the music, that she didn't notice when the other two were called out, or heard the door closing behind them. But she did notice when the building began to rumble, and that's when her adrenaline began to rush, coursing the serum through her body's system a lot faster.

As the building rumbled, she could feel it getting worse as the building began to fall apart around her. She was about to find a place to hide when the console controlling the voltage pads blew, and it had the current amped all the way to the top level, a setting she's never experienced in training before. She fell to her knees screaming in pain, and slammed both her fists into the ground, causing cracks to form where they made contact as the electric volts coursed through her whole body.

She could feel the constant flow of electricity coursing through and mixing with the freshly injected serum, and her adrenaline, in ways that hadn't happened before. Just as she was about to reach her limit on what she could handle, the structure came collapsing down, and she felt the flow of electricity end, as fast as it came, before passing out, all her energy spent from enduring the electric currents through her adrenaline.

After what felt like a moment's rest, Kali opened her eyes to find the building surrounding her had crumbled to pieces, and the sky was visible above her. She hadn't actually seen the night sky in over a year, as all her outdoor training sessions, took place during the day time.

She stood up and instantly, she felt a pain course through her body. It wasn't much, but she did feel like she had just been run over by a hand pushed steamroller. She reached around her body, and removed each of the voltage pads, rubbing the sore, burnt spots they left as she made her way through the demolished building.

She managed to get through the rubble, to her room, and found that it was mostly destroyed. Her bed, desk, and the mini fridge had all been crushed, but surprisingly, the wall with my mural, was all that remained standing, with only a few cracks making their way through it. She moved the chunk of wall crushing her mini fridge as best as she could while sore and found a couple cans of Fruit Punch Rockstar, and a few bottles of Dr. Pepper, remaining intact. She grabbed two of them, and a couple bottles of soda, and made her way through the rest of the building, using what remained of her blanket to carry them. But she froze when she realized two things.

One, her senses had been heightened drastically since she passed out, even though it was dark out, and it was clearly nighttime, Kali could see everything as if the sun were shinning right now. Second, the scent she caught a whiff of with her heightened sense of smell, in that moment, had the copper tang of blood that she could actually taste.

Kali began to race towards where she smelt the blood as fast as she could with her sore body, and stopped in her tracks, upon reaching it. There, in the middle of the moonlight, was Yukimura being cradled by some sort of weird tentacle monster. She stared in horror when she saw the blood pooling around her. To Kali's shock, the monster grabbed some paper and a pen that had managed to survive the collateral damage of the facility, and as fast as it could, it wrote down something, before flying off at a speed, that instantly broke the sound barrier.

Kali raced towards Yukimura Sensei's body, and saw the blood pooling around her. She felt her neck for a pulse, and could sense that she still had one. It was weak, really weak, but still there nonetheless. So without further delay, Kali picked her up, fireman style, a plan rushing through her mind.

"Wait, where are you taking my sister?"

Kali looked up from Yukimura to see a young girl, a bit shorter than her, with brown hair, and a rather flat chest, making her way towards them. Not wanting to get caught, Kali jumped back, on the rubble, and ran, using her parkour skills. Surprisingly, she had more agility and speed, than she should have, given her body structure and the stiff soreness of her muscles. But she'd put that puzzle on the back burner for now, as she had one focus in mind, and that was to save a life.

~Several Hours Later~

"Well doctor, is she going to be okay?" A nurse question a doctor.

"It's too early to say for certain, but we've managed to stabilize her for now. Whoever brought her here, knew she didn't have much time before it would be too late. Thankfully it didn't come to that, and we were able to seal the wounds on her lower back." The doctor explained, with Kali listening in on her hiding place on the ledge just below the window to Yukimura's hospital room. "We're going to have to keep her here under careful watch and supervision. With time, she should be able to make a mostly full recovery."

That was all Kali needed to hear from the doctor, before she took off. She jumped down from the ledge and used a nearby tree to safely make her way down with Olympic leveled gymnastics skills. Once down, she made my way through the city streets, until she came upon a familiar house within the living district of the prefecture. She gave it a scowl, and saw the name plate on the house.

It was still her last name, Karasuma. She looked into the window of the living room, and saw both her parents, sitting happily on the couch, and drinking sake. The amount the lab facility had given them for her, was no small price, it was enough to leave them sitting in buckets of money for the rest of their lives, and beyond that as well.

"Guess it's time I get a bit of payback." Kali growled.

Ever since she was a kid, Kali knew all the secret ins and outs of the house. Meaning if she wanted to, she could get in without making a sound, especially now, with the training she's been put through. Running for the backyard, Kali ran towards the tree that was right beside what used to be her bedroom window, but found that she wouldn't be able to use it, as she saw nothing but a tree stump with 75 rings.

"Damn it. How am I gonna get up there now? All other ins take me through the living room." Kali growled, jumping in an attempt to reach the window. After a few failed attempts, Kali's anger rose, and with one more jump, she found herself soaring into the air, before stopping, looking right at the crescent moon, right above the clouds. "What the hell? I can fly?" She questioned looking at herself and her surroundings, finding nothing but clouds, and the star filled night sky.

It was a bit tricky for her to control at first, but eventually Kali managed to gain descent control over her flying abilities, and flew back down to her parents house. More specifically, in front of the window to what used to be her room.

After making sure she was stabilized floating in mid air, Kali carefully reached out for her window, before noticing something. Her hands looked different, mainly the nails, they looked a little longer and sharper than before, not to mention thicker, like they were claws filed to a razors edge, add to the fact, they were somehow naturally an electric violet, as they grew about half an inch past the skin of her fingers.

So she opted to try something different than her original plan. Instead of removing the whole window, due to its lack of proper stability, like she could, Kali placed the tip of her sharpened nail on her index finger, on the glass a few inches above the lock on the side it was on, and pressing firmly, she swiped down in a crescent motion, creating a half circle within the glass, big enough for her hand, and forearm to fit through.

Using her other index finger on the edge of the top of the cut, Kali pulled the half circle of glass out from the frame, with a smile, before she threw it to the ground, where it made no sound, landing on the grass, even as it shattered on a rock near the roots of the stump.

Reaching her arm in, Kali unlocked the window, and silently slid it open, before flying through it. Once out of the air and on her feet, she looked around, and saw that they had wasted no time, turning her old room, into a home gym. No doubt her uncle's room was turned into a home office, since he most likely doesn't come to stay with her parents anymore when visiting with them. Being her dad's baby brother, Kali thought he's actually kinda cool, not to mention his job is way more impressive than her dad's. She liked her uncle a lot better than she did her own parents anyways, now more than ever. He actually treats her like a human being, instead of a piece of garbage like how her parents treated her.

Looking at all the different equipment, Kali found that her closets full length mirror was still there, and to her surprise, she didn't recognize the girl starring back at her.

Kali walked closer to the mirror, to get a better look at herself. Her hair had always been jet black, and her eyes had been a light sapphire blue, but now her hair had a fiery red tint to it, with emerald green eyes and violet cats-eyeshadow and lipstick that, like her nails, was there naturally, and not due to any makeup. Her physique had changed as well, she was still slender, and thin at the waist, but now her muscles looked more defined, and she even had a six pack. She looked like a non-gammafied She-Hulk from Marvel comics.

Aside from the bruises and cuts that were all over her body from the facility collapsing on her, Kali's skin was flawless, and had a little darker tan color. Before she had a bit of a peachy skin tone, that only got paler as she was locked away within the confining walls of the lab, now it looked like she had an exotic tan skin tone, like she had recently been on a vacation to Hawaii and just got back.

"No way." She gasped, careful not to make a sound loud enough for her, former parents, to hear.

After the shock of her new looks wore off, Kali got herself back on track to her mission, and went sneaking through the house, and managed to get to her parent's room, hearing their drunken laughter still echoing from downstairs, Kali knew she was still in the clear. When she was sure she wasn't about to be detected, she used one of her nails to pick the lock on their bedroom door, and when she heard the click, she silently opened it and walked through.

In their bedroom, she saw that they'd switched out their old mattress, for a newer, softer mattress. Kali smiled as she removed the comforters and pillows, throwing them to the ground, before using her new claws to tear it up, and tear the filling out of it, before she tore the comforters and pillows to ribbons.

After that, she took a capsule of her mom's lipstick, and looked at the mirror, before she noticed something she hadn't noticed in the full length mirror of the home gym, or rather she hadn't noticed due to the more major changes. She had a red nova-star mark on her forehead. She used her fingers to pull her lips back to the gums, and found her canines had sharpened and elongated as well, in fact, all her teeth that weren't molars, looked a little carnivorous. The change wasn't noticeable enough upon first glance, but with closer inspection it looked plainly obvious to anyone who saw.

When she finished messing up her former parent's room, she went to her father's bedside table, and rummaged through it, finding exactly what she was looking for. His bank card. She smiled evilly as she thought about what she could do with it. Making sure to tuck the card away into her sports bra, Kali turned to the painting on the wall, and removed it, revealing a hidden safe.

Her father was always the superstitious type of person, never having full trust in the banks, because he thought they were stealing money from their clientele without getting caught, 20 yen at a time. (A/N: 25 Cents CAD.)

So as a precaution, he always kept most of his money in the safe behind the painting that Kali just took down, and unbeknownst to her parents, she knew the combo to the electric lock, as she managed to catch her dad in the act of accessing the safe, a couple weeks before they sold her off to the labs. An' she also knew for a fact, there was more than enough money in there, to make what the labs paid for her, look like chump change, as her father always used the biggest bills for what he'd put in the safe.

"P.A.S.S.W.O.R.D." Kali whispered, sounding out the code for the electric word lock on the vault, she lucked out when the code was accepted as it showed her dad hadn't changed it. "Anyone could have gained access to the money in here if they knew how much of an idiot my old man is. Even my uncle has told him to change it." She smiled as she opened it. Her smile only grew wider with more evil intent, as she grabbed her old man's backpack, and after emptying the bag of its original contents, stuffed every last stack of yen, and limited edition collector's item gold coins, into it, leaving only a dust bunny in the safe.

While she was at it, Kali removed her energy drinks and sodas from her makeshift purse, and put them in what remained of the free space in the bag, before she zipped it up, and made her way back to what used to be her room, making sure to leave claw marks, running from their bedroom, all down the wall to the home gym.

With the bag on her back, and the card in her bra, Kali went straight for the window of the home gym, but before she left, she had one final thought as a plan for revenge.

Kali turned to the expensive looking equipment in the room, and knowing that her parents would probably try to sell it, to make back the money that they lost, to try and keep them afloat while her dad tried to get back the job, he probably burned the bridge to when quitting, by what she assumed, was the most disgraceful, and egotistical resignation he could muster.

"This should be a little fun." She smiled.

~An Hour Later~

"Oh man, that felt nice." Kali smiled, rotating her right shoulder as she walked the streets, coming out of the nearest bank that her family worked with. "Damn, who knew the labs paid so much for me, I mean, three-billion yen? That must be chump change for those whack-jobs. Though I guess I could have left more than just, two-thousand yen. Nah, who am I kiddin, it was generous enough for me to leave anything at all." She laughed.

(A/N: 3,000,000,000.00Yen = $36,707,897.37CAD, and 2000 Yen = $25.46 CAD)

Using her sharp nails, Kali had sliced up her father's bank card, and tossed the shards in the trash. She was smart enough to know, that things wouldn't end so well for her, should she be found out by the police, or Self Defense Forces, so she figured living the lap of luxury too soon after draining her parents joint account, would cause suspicion to fall on her sooner than she wanted.

An' since she'd be going back to school in a couple days, she'd have to live somewhere close to the campus. An' she knew the perfect place. However, the first thing she'd need to do after settling into an apartment, would be to get some clothes, especially the school uniform, and some shoes, as she's been barefoot this entire time, as she could feel some lecherous pervs out at night, stripping her down with their eyes.

She, didn't pay them much mind, as she could easily eliminate them with her skills, but it still pissed her off that they were doing that, so instead of letting her temper get the better of her, and winding up with the police called on her for assault, she opted to just go to whichever apartment she thought would be good for living close to campus.

Kali wound up going to an apartment complex that looked simple. Thankfully, the manager was still awake, as it was only nine in the evening. She requested to rent out an apartment, and gave her a plate for Kali's name to be engraved on. In exchange, Kali gave her the first three months of rent, plus damage deposit. The apartment she went to, was next to a name, she realized was familiar. Kali was so sure she'd recognize it someday.

"Shiota huh? That name does sound familiar. I think I heard Ms. Yukimura mention it a couple times whenever we've chatted." Kali said, entering her new apartment, after passing by her neighbor's apartment.

The inside wasn't all that bare. The previous tenants were kicked out, because they made too much racket, and because of that, they were forced to leave their furniture behind. That's good news for Kali, just means she got a fully furnished apartment, without having to do any shopping herself. There was also a television. The fridge was empty, the landlord said that it had been cleared out, since the apartment had been up for grabs the last few months. Kali was glad to know she kept good care of it, or at least had someone else who did the job for her.

Holding up the name plate, a small ball of energy formed on Kali's index finger, and she engraved the name, Karasuma, into the metal, before putting it down on the counter to let it cool, while the Ki at the end of her finger, dissipated. Currently, she was only able to do small things with her Ki, none of which would allow her to do serious damage to an enemy.

"Guess I better pack it in for the night. I'm needing a fresh start for when I go back to school in a couple days. Tomorrow I'm going to take the day off, and get my new clothes, uniform, and stuff for school." Kali yawned. "The only regret I have is being unable to see the looks on my parent's faces, when they realize, they're flat broke." She snickered, before a thought came to her. "Hold on, I wonder whatever happened to Reaper Sensei back at the lab. I hope he survived."

~Government Location~

"An' those are my demands. I teach the students of Class-3E at Kunugigaoka Junior High School, for one year, and train them to kill me." A chipper voice exclaimed. "If they succeed by next March, the earth is saved, but if they fail, the earth is doomed."

The person in question, standing before the government of Japan has the appearance of a yellow octopus. Standing at about three meters tall and possesses a large, bulbous head with a large smile that didn't even break or move, with small beady black eyes. Instead of normal arms, he had two tentacles in place of them, each having two feelers as fingers, and utilized the rest of his tentacles to walk.

He wore a black academic dress, a small black squarish academic cap with a yellow tassel, and a large black tie with a yellow crescent-shaped moon on it.

"Hmm…" One of the board members, of the Japanese Self Defense Force, pondered as he thought over the creatures offer. "We will allow it, on the condition that no harm is allowed to come to any of the students you teach, by your hand er… tentacle."

"Perish the thought my good sir. I have no interest in harming any of those students. I merely wish to help them succeed and learn to think, and act for themselves. Not to mention, give them a major confidence boost in their self-esteem." The yellow creature said. "Though I can understand why you'd make such a fair condition to the agreement. As I am a creature capable of destroying over half the moon."

"Then it's agreed upon. We agree to your terms and conditions, so long as you agree to ours."

"Excellent, now we'll iron out the finer details later. Right now I'm needing to find a friend of mine. Adieu." He said, before taking off at Mock20 speeds.
