Call Me Again (Lord of the Rings/Rise of the Guardians): ON HIATUS

This is a rework of "Call Me Maybe" in that it's how that story should have been written. If you like long-fics with slow-building relationships, this is one to consider. Contains the following: Original characters, a blend of book-movie canon in an alternate universe, dumb decisions, roadtrips, immature humor, and the occasional crossover with the Guardians of Childhood.

Lead Me Home (Lord of the Rings): ON HIATUS

This is an AU fic set in the modern world, building on the assumption that after the elves left middle-earth, time changed itself to resemble something similar to the world we know. The characters from "Call Me Again" are featured in this story, down to several OCs making appearances with varied roles. Pairings remain the same, so if you've read "Call Me Again", you already know who's with who. This story contains material for mature readers, so if you have squicks with foul language, sex, or disturbing descriptions of injuries, this probably isn't for you.

Brain Mush (Multiple fandoms):

For the Writer's Month tumblr prompt list 2019. Each chapter is labeled by the prompt, the fandom, and the characters and/or pairing. Notes will be provided where needed. As of this page update, there's a chapter for LotR and Inuyasha, but if I've written for a fandom, it could appear here. No cliffhangers; each prompt will be a standalone. Could include moments from WIPs or abandoned fics.

Making Waves (Inuyasha):

Started as an AU response to the Myth/Legend prompt for Inuvember 2019. Also inspired by an InuKag Mermay pic I did this past year. Thought it was gonna be a oneshot until I started writing it. Yeah...no. Flying by the seat of my pants with this one, and I have no idea right now how it'll end or even how long it'll be. Right now I just know that I'll be writing each chapter as moments in time.

Fever Dreams (Inuyasha):

Sequel to Mating Fever. Would help if you read that one first, or a lot of things are going to be confusing. Picks up about four months later after Mating Fever ends. This is a winging-it wip to the nth degree.

Fever Bites (Inuyasha):

A collection of moments that didn't come to me/didn't fit quite right in Mating Fever. To really get the premise you'd need to read Mating Fever first, but it should be fine on it's own. Art is included with these installments over on AO3 and on tumblr.

Chaotic Paradise (Lord of the Rings):

The sequel to "Call Me Again". If you read the epilogue to the original, "Call Me Maybe", then you should have a general idea of what to expect.

Bound to Happen (Lord of the Rings):

Companion story to "Call Me Again". This follows a certain point in the parent story, but the sole focus is on Fiona from that point to the end of the story. It isn't a retelling; merely following her path and the events that unfold around her life.

Seasoned Warrior (Lord of the Rings):

Companion story to "Call Me Again". Diverts some from the parent story as it follows Glorfindel's remaining time in middle-earth. Features characters and references from the parent story, of course, so some knowledge of the main story is recommended.

Time Lapse (Lord of the Rings/The Santa Clause/Rise of the Guardians):

Companion story to "Call Me Again". People have wondered if the Bernard in "Call Me Again" is the grouchy head elf from The Santa Clause. This is true, but his past of how he became entangled with the elves of middle-earth and the Guardians of Childhood has only been eluded to. Until now. This story is not an overly happy one

"There is no way that you are an elf. Not after what I've seen at North's." A companion piece to Call Me Again. A 51 fic. Five times Ithilwen happened upon an Immortal, and the one time an Immortal sought her out.

Call Me Maybe (Lord of the Rings/Rise of the Guardians): "I do not cheat at Monopoly," the elf cut in. "That doesn't matter! I don't know how it happens; I can be way ahead, and then you miraculously roll the right number! Then three or four rounds later I end up broker than dirt."

We Were Angels (Charlie and the Chocolate Factor)y:
Depp!Wonka, but could also be read as Wilder!Wonka if you ignore the time difference. The title is pulled from the lyrics to a Dragon Ball Z closing theme, "We Were Angels" It's more or less one of those songs you hear that brings back memories, and in this nameless character's story it's the childhood friendship she had with the little boy who grew up to become a famous candymaker who she figured had all but forgotten about her.

Friend Request (Harry Potter/The Avengers [MCU]): Celeste looked around to see some rather annoyed faces that belonged to her teammates. "I take it that the reason for this meeting is because of Loki's...new hobby?"

Weight Watcher (Inuyasha): "I carry the future of the Hojo family. Your weight is nothing!"
What Akitoki Hojo told Kagome sticks with her, and being a modern girl with self-esteem issues, makes a statement that a certain hanyou doesn't agree with. Slight InuKag fluff if you squint. Canon-compliant. Set after episode 140.

Oh Shit! She's hot! (Rise of the Guardians): All it takes is one misplaced comment or gesture to make you question everything you thought you knew about your friend and coworker. For Jack Frost, this means acknowledging that Esther's more than just a friend. She's a girl. A girl that he seriously underestimated.
Set after chapter 55 of Call Me Again, but you don't have to have read/caught up to really follow this one. Jack/Esther centered.

Does This Game Have Fall Damage? (Lord of the Rings): Haldir learns that when it comes down to it, it's just a game. No matter how much it makes you want to rage-quit your playable character off every cliff side and building imaginable.
Something fun between Ithilwen and Haldir set during Call Me Again. No particular point in the story, just some father/daughter conversation.

Sharp-Dressed Hanyou (Inuyasha): Inuyasha knew that Kagome was weird. But she's been acting stranger around him since he started wearing modern clothes in her time. That strangeness comes to a head - or rather a hand - when there's a formal event on the night of the new moon.
Inspired by Lenbarboza's "Dogs and Swords" series. InuKag oneshot.

Guide to the Recently Deceased (Rise of the Guardians): There should really be a guidebook for people that wake up to find that they can't interact with other people anymore. Are you dead? Are you alive? Will you age? Can you pass through walls? Jack and Esther find answers to these questions after becoming victims of an accident themselves.
Not connected with Call Me Again, but does feature the OC Esther. A different take on what might have happened had both fallen into the lake to save Jack's sister and the years that follow. It turned out darker than I meant it to. Oof.

Doggie Bag (Inuyasha): Leave it to your closest friends to be the ones that piss you off the most. Inuyasha learns that his friends have a sick sense of humor, but can it turn to his favor after all?
Modern AU inspired by Gabriel Iglesias' story about the "Racist Gift Basket". InuKag mostly, with appearances by Koga, Miroku, Kikyo, Sesshomaru, Kagura, and Rin. A follow-up has been requested for this one, so keep a look out.

Mating Fever (Inuyasha): Inuyasha has a problem - it's mating season for youkai - and he's doing everything in his power to ignore the call. When the new moon comes and goes, Inuyasha is faced with two more problems, and they're both eyeing Kagome.
This was a self-indulgent fic idea I've been pecking away at for months and just recently finished. I wouldn't say it's canon-compliant, but it does fall within the regular timeline. Think of it as a smutty filler episode. That said, the version here is going to have scenes later on toned down considerably, but you can find the full story marked as Explicit on AO3. It plays with the "mating fever" trope, but something interesting happens to Inuyasha when the new moon comes and goes...

Toddler Tizzy (Inuyasha): Inuyasha's the unfortunate recipient of a misguided spell. Now he has to deal with the consequences of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. But how is he supposed to communicate when he can barely form a simple sentence?
An idea that came to me when I was neck-deep writing Mating Fever. Originally meant to be a funny short fic about Inuyasha as a transformed toddler, but then some angst came in down the road...you'll see.

Trick or Treat (Inuyasha): There comes a point when Shippo's disguises make even Inuyasha paranoid. Is it really Kagome that he's seeing at the well, or is it the runt in disguise? Only one way to find out.
Another oneshot. Written for Halloween, even though it's not very centered on the holiday. Just me taking liberties with Shippo using his disguises to mess with Inuyasha and what happens after. Meant to be lighthearted, so don't take it seriously.

Howling Holy Terror (Inuyasha): The perfect revenge against your friends takes time to craft, along with a team of willing accomplices.
Not necessary to read Doggie Bag first, but recommended for the full effect of this one. Rated for language and description of certain items.

A Not So Far Quest (Inuyasha): There's something to be said for anonymity in MMORPGs. A story about a game that's less about the game and more its players.
Rated M for a good reason.

Dungeon Master (Inuyasha): It's said that too much of a good think is a bad thing, but what happens when you're not getting that good thing at all? It's spring break and Inuyasha intends to make up for that lost time, if his body will let him. Fortunately for him, Kagome has an idea
Sequel to A Not So Far Quest. Like it's predecessor, rated M for a good reason.

You Put This Banana to Shame (Inuyasha): Something's not right with the well, and no matter how many times he tries, Inuyasha can't figure out why. Kagome just wants a late night snack after a long evening of homework.

Sold! (Hobbit): The new P.A. to Thorin's nephews gets more on her plate than she can handle on a daily basis just trying to keep them in line. Getting sucked into a single's auction is not her idea of a fun time, especially when it's dropped on her. But you know...it's for charity...so there's that?
A Christmas gift fic for C-S-Stars. A modern AU featuring her OC Mallory and a funny discussion we had back in the summer.
