"And what's the plan for today, my darling?" Narcissa asks, wrapping both of her arms around one of Lucius's. They were already headed down to Hogsmeade, walking along the path. Lucius had been hinting at their trip for the past two weeks and Narcissa had worn a tight red dress in anticipation. It was covered in a thick white coat, however, as all of Hogsmeade was covered in a thick layer of snow. Narcissa also wore a white fur hat to keep the snow from ruining her carefully groomed curls. She grins up at Lucius, enjoying how handsome he looks in his contrasting black robes.
"You'll see soon, my dear," he tells her, smiling back at her. "We're almost there."
"You've kept this from me for two weeks now. What do you have planned?"
"Patience, little star."
"Tell me, tell me, tell me," Narcissa demands, causing a soft rumpling laughter to break from Lucius's lips.
"Narcissa, patience," he chides her. "You'll enjoy it more if it's a surprise."
Narcissa lets out a dramatic sigh, resting her head against his arm. "I hope I dressed appropriately for whatever it is you have planned."
"If you didn't, I'll buy you a new dress."
Narcissa rolls her eyes. "Money can't solve all problems, Luce."
"It can solve most."
"Speaking of new dresses… Am I going to have to buy one for the winter ball, Lucius?"
Lucius looks down at her, smiling. "Of course not, Cissa."
Narcissa gasps. "Are you not going to take me, Luce?" she demands. "After all this time, I hope to god you don't think that you're not going to take me."
Lucius stops on the snowy path, stopping Narcissa as well and turning to face her. "Yes, I'm taking you," he says firmly. "I want to show off how beautiful you are to everyone in the school."
"But you said-"
"I've already purchased you a dress."
Narcissa raises her eyebrow.
"You're going to love it. It's beautiful. Wildly expensive, too."
Narcissa frowns. "I wish you would have told me. I want some say in what I'm going to wear."
"You'll get to see it today. We're going to pick it up."
"Pick it up?" Narcissa laughs. "Where? There isn't a single dress shop in Hogsmeade."
Lucius just smiles and starts walking back down the path, leading Narcissa with him.
"Lucius!" Narcissa demands. "What on earth do you have planned today?"
"You'll see. We're almost at Hogsmeade."
"And are we planning on staying in Hogsmeade?" Narcissa asks suspiciously, starting to get an idea of what Lucius has planned.
"Clever girl," Lucius responds, but doesn't give her more information than that, dragging her along the path. "But I won't confirm or deny that accusation."
"You're a cad, Luce," Narcissa accuses, but she smiles from excitement. "An absolute cad."
Lucius smiles, and stops, picking her up in his arms and spinning her around in the snow. Narcissa laughs, wrapping her arms around his neck. He lowers her slowly, her body sliding against his, but he doesn't let her land on her feet before kissing her deeply. "You look beautiful in the snow."
"Do I?" She smiles warmly.
"It's a beautiful season on you," he says, kissing her again softly. "I can't tell if I like you more in autumn or winter."
"Just you wait until spring," Narcissa says, kissing his bottom lip softly. "And then summer as well. I look wonderful in those seasons, too."
Lucius laughs softly. "Are you ready to go, little star?"
"Go?" she asks. "We just got to Hogsmeade. So I was right, then, wasn't I? We aren't staying in town?"
"I've arranged a portkey for us," he smiles. "It's waiting for us at The Three Broomsticks."
"Where are we headed?"
"Shall I make you close your eyes until we get there?"
"People will think I'm crazy," Narcissa says with a reminiscent smile.
"They will already think you're crazy since you're here with me," he says, kissing her gently.
"Lead the way, then," she smiles, fluttering her eyelids before closing them. "Since they're already going to think I'm crazy, I might as well take the full dive." She reaches out and feels for his arm, wrapping her hands around it, holding onto him.
Lucius laughs softly to himself and he leads her quickly through the snow to The Three Broomsticks. The man at the front gives the pair a glare as Lucius asks for their portkey, but he doesn't question them. Lucius kisses the top of Narcissa's head, happy to see that her eyes are still tightly closed. "You ready?"
"Absolutely," she says, letting him place part of the port key in her hands. "I'm ready for all your secrets to be out in the open, Luce."
"Soon," he promises. He leans in and kisses her nose before the portkey starts working, transporting them away.
Narcissa grips his hand tightly, keeping her eyes tightly shut. After a moment, the whooshing sound that had surrounded them with the portkey fades and Narcissa feels the solid ground beneath her feet once more. "Are we there? Can I open my eyes yet?"
"You can," he says, setting the portkey aside. "I don't think this crowd would take as kindly to your lunacy."
Narcissa smirks but opens her eyes, looking around. They appeared to be in a high end luxury hotel. Everything was decorated in elaborate whites and golds, and even the people walking though were dressed elegantly. "Are we in a hotel?" Narcissa asks suspiciously.
"Yes, but that's for later," Lucius says, smiling at her. "I thought we deserved a space where teachers won't walk in on us. First, however, let's go get you that dress. We have a dinner reservation we need to make it to, as well."
"You're not planning on spending the night, are you? We'll have to get back to Hogwarts…"
"We'll make it back in time," Lucius promises her, kissing her forehead. "But we'll have to move quickly. So let's go, my dear."
Narcissa laughs, but lets herself be pulled out the door, Lucius's wide stride setting the pace for their excursion. She clutches his arm tightly, though her steps come to an abrupt stop when she gets the view outside. "Lucius," she says with a gasp. "Are we in Paris? Did you take me to Paris for dinner?"
"Yes," he says, smiling at her reaction.
Narcissa squeezes his arm in a hug. "Oh, Lucius, I love Paris. C'est la plus belle ville du monde. Comme c'est romantique. Oh, you wonderful boy!"
"I knew you'd like it."
"I do. Oh, Lucius, I do. I adore Paris. Mama takes me every year and I just adore it. It's my favorite city in the entire world."
Lucius raises her hand up and kisses it. "Come on, little star. I want you to see the dress."
Narcissa smiles and lets herself be dragged through the city to the dress shop. She hurries along with Lucius, enjoying being in her favorite city with him. Everything felt more romantic being away from the bustle of Hogwarts and in her favorite city. The sound of French being spoken around them, the luxurious smells of food, and the beautiful architure of the buildings, it all added to the appeal of the afternoon. He leads her into a beautiful little dress shop, the boutique elegant and expensive.
"Champagne?" asks a beautiful store clerk with long auburn hair and a crisp white dress.
"Oui," Narcissa replies, eager for an excuse to demonstrate her French. "Deux verres. Votre meilleure bouteille, bien sûr." The woman nods and hurries off. Narcissa turns back to Lucius, smiling. "This is wonderful, Lucius. But now I'm worried that I underdressed for whatever reservation you have planned for dinner."
"Then we'll buy you a second dress," Lucius says with a smile, sitting back on a long white couch. "Anything you want, Cissa."
"I thought I told you I couldn't be bought," Narcissa says, sitting beside him and kissing his chin.
"Let me spoil you," he says, catching her lips and kissing her. "You deserve it, my darling."
"Mmm," she says, settling in his arms. "Fine, my dear, I give in. Only because I don't want to be underdressed."
"You're right. I can't have you embarrassing me," Lucius grins, biting her chin.
Narcissa hits his chest playfully but laughs. She sits straight up, however, alert, when the clerk attendant and a second woman come out. The auburn woman sets the glasses down on the table beside the pair and the new woman, a dark-skinned lady in a sharp black suit, holds out a shimmering silver dress. Narcissa gasps, leaning forward to get a better look. "Oh, Lucius… It's beautiful." She stands and runs her hands along the fabric. The entirety of the dress was covered in tiny silver beads that shone supernaturally, looking like a cascade of shining stars.
"We'll be needing a second dress as well," Lucius says commandingly, taking the glass of champagne and turning to the second woman. "A cocktail dress. Silk. A deep green shade. We'll need it for dinner tonight, so make the necessary adjustments."
The woman in the sharp black suit nods to the auburn woman. "Collection automne," she instructs. "Trouvez quelque chose dans sa taille. Mine. Elegant. Monsieur Malfoy est un client de premier plan. Aller, aller. Soyez rapide à ce sujet."
The attendant nods and hurries off.
"Would you like to try on this dress, mam, while we prepare the second for you?" The woman asks, her voice is twinged with a heavy french accent.
"Oui," Narcissa nods. "It's beautiful."
Lucius waves her on, drinking deeply from his glass, an amused smile on his face.
Narcissa lets herself be led into a changing room. The woman remains with her, helping her dress in the beautiful gown. Despite the detailing of the design, the gown was soft and light against her skin. The beading cascades down from the tight bodice, falling down the silvery fabric. It sparkled like the night sky and Narcissa realized exactly what he was doing in picking this dress. It was lovely. A gorgeous dress. Narcissa knew it cost a small fortune as well, and she felt like a queen in it.
"You look beautiful," the attendant coos gently. "Such a beautiful girl. It's a pleasure to dress a remarkable beauty like you. Some girls are so plain that it just looks like a beautiful dress on a hanger. But you… My darling girl, you look like a treasure. That handsome boy is not going to be able to take his eyes off of you."
Narcissa smiles. She was certain the woman complimented every woman she dressed and it was a part of the process, but she ran her hand fondly down Narcissa's hair, looking at her with admiration.
A spark crosses the attendant's eyes. "I think I know something that will complete this outfit. I wouldn't suggest it to most of our clients, but I think you have the grace to carry it. If you'll allow me..?"
"Of course."
The attendant goes into the other room and then comes back a moment later with a box. She opens it and pulls out a diamond headpiece. The glittering diamonds mimic the silver beads of the dress and the attendant places it on Narcissa's head delicately. "Perfection. You look like a dream."
Narcissa had to admit that she wasn't wrong. The headpiece added a stunning element to the look, elevating it even farther. She looked ethereal, like a painting of a goddess. She smiles brightly, spinning slowly in front of the mirror.
"Shall we show your handsome boy?"
"Yes," Narcissa nods, letting the attendant take her hand and lead her out of the room. She takes her back to the room where Lucius is sitting and on to a small stage. Lucius freezes when Narcissa enters. It's a subtle thing, but Narcissa can see his body tense. She smiles at him, turning slowly so that he can get a full view of the dress. "How does it look?"
Lucius stands, taking a step towards her. "My darling…" he says and Narcissa can see that for the first time, the boy is at a loss for words. He looks her over, his eyes tracing every inch of her body in the dress. "Narcissa... " He shakes his head. "God. You're beautiful."
Narcissa smiles and takes his hands, pulling him up to her and kissing him. "You have excellent taste. The dress is stunning."
"I have the finest taste," he tells her, kissing her again.
"We have the second dress if the lovely young lady would like to try it on."
Narcissa nods, giving Lucius a final kiss. "I suppose you'll have to wait until the ball to see this gown again."
Lucius looks forlorn but nods. "Add the headpiece to my purchase," he instructs the attendant as Narcissa is led back into the changing room.
The woman helps her out of the gown, letting out a sigh. "Such a beautiful girl for such a beautiful gown. But this second dress will also look wonderful on you, too. It is a fine dress." She holds out a deep rich green gown that shines as it moves. Narcissa lets her slide the fine fabric over her skin, smoothing it out so it confirms to the curves of Narcissa's body.
The dress wasn't the same dramatic transformation as the first, but even still, it was gorgeous. More than that, Narcissa looked refined in it. It brought out the subtle shades of green in her eyes. Narcissa wondered for a moment if that is why Lucius had chosen this specific color.
"I'll need you to tighten it around the waist," Narcissa instructs, inspecting herself. "And it will need to be hemmed two inches-no, two and a half inches. Yes, I think that will do it. I'll be wearing this dress out. You'll box my previous dress for me and send it to our hotel. Lucius will give you the address."
"Of course, Miss," the woman says, nodding and jumping into action.
A half hour later, Narcissa and Lucius are headed out of the shop, arm in arm. Narcissa laughs lightly, loving the feel of the silky material against her skin. Lucius had changed as well, wearing an elegantly tailored suit with a dark maroon shirt. Narcissa could feel eyes on them as they walked the streets, eyes tinged with jealousy, lust, or a mixture of both. Narcissa, however, looks up at Lucius, eyes only on him. He smiles softly back at her, leading her to their next location.
"Hungry, my dear?" He asks, leading her into a beautiful restaurant called L'Ambroisie. It was a tall, white structure with beautiful portraits hanging from the walls and a fine red carpet spread across the floor. The walls were painted a deep burgundy and the restaurant was lit solely from candles and a beautiful diamond chandelier that hung low from the ceiling. Narcissa savors the look of the restaurant as Lucius guides her inside, his hand along the small of her back.
"Ravenous," Narcissa says, slipping off her coat and hat and handing it to one of the front servants. The man nods graciously to Narcissa before taking Lucius's cloak as well and taking them to the cloak room.
"Ah! Monsieur Malfoy!" A man with a sharp mustache and an overly friendly demeanor approaches them, a wide and inviting grin spread across his face. He was dressed in a simple but tailored black suit, white vest, and white bow tie and bowed graciously to Lucius and Narcissa. It was clear to her then that Lucius was a frequent customer at this establishment. "So wonderful to serve you again. We've prepared your favorite table for you, as per your instruction. It is a fine meal the chef has prepared for you and your charming lady."
"Thank you, Guillaume," Lucius nods, taking Narcissa's hand. He holds her out to introduce her to the man. "This is Miss Narcissa Black. She'll be joining me for this meal and hopefully many more in the future. Treat her as royalty, Guillaume. She's the finest of pureblood society."
"Of course, Monsieur Malfoy. It is a pleasure, my dear. Lovely to make your acquaintance."
Narcissa gives him a polite nod of the head.
Lucius smiles at her, pulling her back in close to him as Guillaume leads them through the restaurant. "I've already ordered for us, Cissa. You'll love the dishes. I've instructed the chef personally."
"I already trust your taste," Narcissa smiles. "You've proven yourself a connoisseur of class." She walks with him back to a secluded table lit with a delicate floating candle. Lucius holds the chair for her, tucking it under her before sitting across from her. His eyes seemed to shimmer in the floating light, sending speckles of gold in his usually grey eyes. "Lucius…" she says, reaching across the table and taking his hand. "This has been the most wonderful day of my life. Truly, I can't think of an occasion that comes close to rivaling the happiness I'm feeling. Being with you, here, it has been… A dream."
Lucius raises her hand to his lips and kisses it gently. "I wanted to show you what it would truly be like dating me, Cissa. When we're not locked away at Hogwarts, that is."
"Oh, Lucius, that's darling. But I love our Hogwarts dates as well. Extravagance is wonderful… But it's wonderful because it isn't every day. Although I will say that this does surpass snogging you in a trophy closet."
He laughs and strokes her hand. "I have something to tell you, Cissa, but let's eat first."
"Nothing terrible?" Narcissa asks, a flash of worry crossing her face.
"Nothing terrible," he promises, squeezing her hand. "There isn't a single terrible thing in this world. I have nothing but wonderful, happy things to tell you."
Narcissa smiles, wondering what he wanted to tell her, but letting it wait. Her patience had paid off so far today. She laughs in delight as a spread of courses come and go from the table, each one richer and more elegant than the last. She lets Lucius pressure her into sampling all of the dishes, eating far past her fill. Eventually, she takes his hand and pulls him towards the exit, though, hungry for a dish other than the decadent food. "Let's go back to the hotel, my darling. We're running out of time."
"Of course," Lucius says eagerly, tossing down an enormous sum on the table, not caring for a moment about the price, and hurrying out the door with her. They both are in such a rush they almost forget their coats, but Lucius grabs them quickly and they are on their way.
The two nearly run all the way back to the hotel, knowing that they only have a couple more hours before they have to get back to Hogwarts.
Narcissa doesn't even have time to take in the splendor of their hotel room before she and Lucius are tangling in each other's arms again, pulling off coats and hats from each other. Their lips are desperate for each other, breaking only for the exception of pulling off more clothing. Lucius's hands are rough and desperate against her, roaming and crinkling her dress. Narcissa pulls back from him suddenly, putting a hand on his chest to break him away.
"Is something wrong?" he asks, breathing heavily. He looks at her with dark and heavy eyes, but they fill with a measure of concern at her movement.
"You're going to ruin my beautiful new dress."
Lucius grins at her mischievously, a quick feeling of relief passing through his features before returning to their devilish hunger. "Take it off, then."
"But it's so beautiful," Narcissa says with a coy and innocent look. She runs a finger slowly down the fabric, letting it trail the length of her curves. "Such a beautiful dress."
"Take it off," Lucius growls playfully, taking a step towards her. "Or I'll rip it off you."
Narcissa laughs, moving back towards the bed. "You'd ruin this incredibly expensive, brand new dress you bought me?"
"Yes," Lucius says, following after her. "So you've got a decision to make, little Cissa. Take off that incredibly expensive, brand new dress, or I'll rip it off from you."
"Why, Lucius," Narcissa says innocently, suppressing a giggle. "I couldn't let you do something as terrible as all that." She backs up playfully against the bed, a second giggle escaping her lips as she stumbles back against the bed, tumbling down on it and her hair spilling loose in a cascade around her head.
"I did warn you," Lucius says, a wolfish grin crossing his face. He approaches the bed and Narcissa lays back, smiling up at him. She reaches out a hand for him, pulling him down on top of her on the bed. He instantly begins submerging her in kisses and bites, his hands all over her.
"Lucius," she moans in his ear, desperate for more of him.
Lucius reaches for the bodice of her dress, ripping the delicate material in his strong hands. Narcissa gasps, not truly having believed that he'd tear the expensive dress. He tears again, the fabric splitting and exposing her chest. He tears further, pulling it down off of her.
"Oh my god, Lucius," she laughs. "You really did ruin it."
"You look better like this," he says, pulling the scraps off of her and burying his head against her chest, kissing her skin. Narcissa moans, squirming eagerly underneath him.
"Take off your suit," Narcissa pleads. "I'm not as strong as you, Lucius. I can't tear it off of you."
Lucius laughs but obliges her, nearly ripping his own clothes with the speed he takes them off. Narcissa peels off her undergarments and he undresses, reaching out for him when he's finished and pulling him into a deep and hungry kiss. Lucius kisses her back eagerly and with how close he is to her, she can feel him grow hard against her. Narcissa smiles into the kiss, enjoying the clear sign that he's desperate to have her. She runs a hand down his chest, moving to kiss and moan in his ear, knowing that'll only entice him even further.
"God, you glorious thing," Lucius growls, his bulge rubbing against her and causing her to squirm with anticipation. "Narcissa… You're the most beautiful thing in the entire world."
Narcissa is unable to keep the smile that spreads across her face. "I love you, Lucius," she tells him, the words desperate to be said. "Oh, god, Lucius. I love you so much."
He smiles at her, breaking from where he had moved to kiss her jaw line so that he can look in her face. "Oh, my beautiful Cissa," he says, kissing her softly. There was such a tender smile on his face when he looks at her, and his eyes gleam brightly. "That's what I wanted to tell you at dinner… I love you, too. I love you, Narcissa Black."
Narcissa flings her arms around him, laughing and kissing him in a flurry. He smiles in return, kissing her back. "You love me!" she says, kicking her feet in delight. "Lucius Malfoy loves me!"
"Hush," he laughs, his chest rippling with happiness. "Oh, hush, beautiful girl. You'll wake all of Paris." He kisses her to stop her shouting and her legs calm as well. She wraps her arms around his neck, kissing him deeper.
"You love me," she whispers, breaking from the intense kisses to give him a tender one.
"I do," he replies, smiling at her fondly. "And you love me."
"I'm crazy about you, Lucius Malfoy. I'm absolutely desperate for you. You're the most wonderful thing that's ever happened to me."
Lucius kisses her again. "You're mine, Cissa," he promises her. He presses against her, causing her to let out a long moan. "You're always going to be mine."
Narcissa reaches down, guiding him inside of her, needing even more of him. "Always," she promises, her breath short and her voice shaky. "I'll always be yours."
Lucius presses inside her and Narcissa has to bite her bottom lip, her head tilting back in pleasure. She reaches out to Lucius, running a hand along his back, holding on tightly to him. He loved her. He loved her. Lucius Malfoy loved her.
