Portgas D. Naruto
"Y-you killed him!?" Roger exclaimed with shock as the lifeless body of the Doflamingo executive fell to the ground with a thud
Naruto looked back at his son and sighed. "I'm sorry son but you saw what he did to your mother. I normally forgive and forget but not this time. I will never forgive anyone who harms my family."
"B-but-" Roger began to speak again before Naruto gave him a hug
The older man then bent down and looked at his son. "Roger, I know it looks bad but if I didn't kill Diamante then chances are he would have tried to kill you, your mother, and Kyros. Like I said before I can't let someone who hurt those precious to me get away."
Roger looked back at his father with a look of sorrow before tears weld up at the corners of his eyes and he hugged his father again. "I'll always keep you safe Roger, never forget that." Naruto finished saying to his son
Not really paying attention to the conversation the other two boys were having, Kyros continued to look over his daughter. "Rebecca. . .is everything okay?" He asked with a soft voice as she opened her eyes a crack and smiled at the sight of her father
"Y-yes father, i-is Roger okay?" She asked him weakly
Kyros looked over to the boy and then back at his child. "He's fine Rebecca." He told her, slightly worried about the young boy after he saw his father kill a man
Hearing the voice of Kyros, Naruto looked over and spotted that Rebecca had awoken and signaled Roger to follow him over to greet her. "Sweetheart are you okay!?" Naruto asked her as she waved him off
"Never better dear. And how's my little soldier?" She asked her son as she wiped a stray tear from his eye
"I'm. . . I'm okay." He answered, diverting his eyes from his mother
Rebecca saw this and began to grow uneasy before she looked over at the boy's father with a questioning stare. Naruto saw this and silently told her what happened as he directed her attention over to the corpse of one Diamante. She sighed as she enveloped the young boy in a hug and he began to tear up. In the background popping of bullet fire could be heard as smoke and dust came up from the other side of the island. Naruto turned towards the commotion and then back to his wife, "I need to get moving towards the fight and make sure that everyone is safe. Kyros and Rebecca, is there anything else you need from me?" Asked the Pirate King
"I can make sure everything will be okay here, you're needed on the battlefield my friend, go!" Told Kyros as Naruto nodded and ran off towards the fight
Roger watched his father run off towards the direction of the fighting and his brow furrowed. Though the young boy was not the strongest or the smartest he did have a heart of gold and knew that it was his duty to help however way he could too. Roger quickly shook himself loose from his mother's grip and ran off in the same direction as the commotion. "Roger! Come back!" Yelled Rebecca as she tried to move which only resulted in pain from her recent injury
The same happened with the former toy soldier, as he was too tired and hurt to be able to catch up to the boy. So onward Roger went, towards the fighting.
Elsewhere on the Island. . .
"You'd think that they'd know when to quit!" Russ spoke as he let a hail of gunfire off towards a bunch of Pirates
Gem chuckled, "Don't hold it against them, they're feeling lucky." Explained the man, creating explosions all around the area
Kinshiki too was beside his fellow crew mates, easily disarming and taking down Pirates before his eyes gleamed red as he dodged a bullet from behind him. Snapping his head back he saw a few marksmen on a nearby rooftop taking shots at his allies. "Lucy-chan! Lift!" He yelled
The lady nodded, doing a flip over an enemy and transforming before everyone's eyes as he talons attached to Kinshiki's shoulders and he was dropped on the roof and began to cut down the marksmen. "Pfft! Show off!" Russ said softly as he continued to shoot at enemies
Just around the corner was the young Ricky and Ryker, both of them running as fast as they could towards the more senior members of the crew. "HELLLLLP! HELLLP USSSS!" They yelled before Rose looked over
"What is it?" She asked them
Neither boy answered as they just continued to run, but the crew then saw what was chasing them and it was one of the giants under the employ of Doflamingo. Most of the crew was unfazed by the giant creature as Yuri stepped out from a little skirmish and began to charge. The cook of the Whirlpool Pirates hit his fist right into the giant's jaw and knocked it right back into a building, knocking it out.
Allies of the Whirlpool, Heart, and Strawhat Pirates cheered as the giant came down and Yuri flashed a smile.
"Fire Fist!" Yelled Ace as he grilled a street's worth of enemies, only stopping to grin
"Water Wave!" Naruto spoke as he entered the fight, washing away Ace's fire with his own water
Ace looked at his older brother, "Wow, you really know how to steal the spotlight don't you."
Naruto sighed, "I suppose, how are things going? Where is Luffy?" Naruto asked Ace who took a break from the fight to converse with his elder brother
"Luffy is just up ahead with his crew, along with Sabo and that girlfriend of his! I think Pedro is up with them and was making a commotion about something over the transponder snail but I couldn't make it out." Ace told him
Naruto nodded as he began to run off towards Luffy's group. Ace just sighed and was about to fight again before he noticed a boy in the middle of a fight and ran after him. Ace was able to tackle the boy out of harms way and then look at him. "Hey kid this isn't a place for playing around!" Ace explained
"My name is Roger and I'm here to see my father! He's the King of the Pirates!" The boy now known as Roger answered
Ace took a double take, "W-what!? You're Naruto's kid!?"
"Yeah I am!" Roger told him as he tried to find his father again but Ace didn't let him go
"Hold on! Just follow me and I'll take you too him okay! I'm his brother!" Ace explained as Roger's eyes lit up
He smiled, "Wait so that would mean you're my uncle! Wow! That's so cool! I have so many questions! Who's stronger you or my dad?!" Roger asked the man as Ace just grinned
"Well you see, I just let your dad be the Pirate King! If I really wanted to I could have beat him for the spot!" Ace responded, clearly lying to the boy
Roger chuckled at Ace's claim, "You're funny! Uncle. . . uh. . . uncle-"
"Ace! The name's Portgas D. Ace!" The younger Portgas finished with a smile which seemed to cheer the young boy up from what happened earlier with Diamante
"You're funny uncle Ace!" Spoke the boy
The ladder was about to respond before he pushed Roger down to the street as a blade sliced right through the Devil-Fruit user. Roger's eyes went wide as little flames sparked around Ace's wound before it completely shut. The chore boy of the Whirlpool Pirates then turned around to face his foe which was only 3 Pirates. "Wrong place wrong time!" The man said snappily before all 3 of the Pirates began to realize who they crossed
"Fire Fist!" Exclaimed Ace, as flames extended out of his fist and engulfed all three men and shot them back
At first glance of the attack a thought went through Roger's head of if the men were okay, before it was snuffed out. Though young, the boy knew that these men had threatened his home and his family for too many years. He knew that they deserved the pain that came with the blows dealt by the liberating powers of the Whirlpool Pirates, the Heart Pirates and the Straw Hat Pirates. "Woahhhh! That was cool uncle Ace!" The childish side of Roger gleamed watching the spectacle of flames
"Ha! All in a days work! Anyways come on! Let's go see your dad!" Ace said picking up Roger and running with him under his armpit towards the direction Naruto ran in
A few minutes later. . .
"Gum Gum Gatling!" Exclaimed the barer of the Straw Hat as he knocked back some more Pirates
Civilians had begun to revolt against the forces of Doflamingo as Luffy and Law had managed to defeat the tyrant and all that was left was the little batches of resistance that were still loyal to Doflamingo.
"Hn. This is no fun, all that's left is the cannon fodder. I can't believe the cook got to go with Nami, Chopper, Momonosuke, and Brook to a new island and we're stuck here." Expressed one grumpy swordsman as he cut down another Pirate
Luffy laughed, "Ah don't worry Zoro! We'll see them soon enough!"
"Oiiiii! Luffy!" Yelled one Portgas D. Naruto as he managed to catch up with his brother
Luffy grew wide eyed and made a huge grin as he saw the man approach, even Zoro had a small smile crack along his face as he saw them run towards them. "Ah ha! Narutooo!" Sabo yelled as he turned to face the running form of his oldest brother and Koala did the same
"Why do they all call out for fishcake?" Asked one goofy samurai to another
The other looked back, "No idea."
The oldest of the four brothers smiled before he quickly tried to stop and run the other way as he saw that Luffy just launched himself at him. Before long the youngest of the four had Naruto in a death grip by hugging him so hard. Naruto eventually managed to get free and then took a huge breath of fresh air. "It's good to see you too Luffy!" Naruto exclaimed as the others began to walk over and say hi
Right then after, Sabo too gave his brother a hug but not to the same extent Luffy did. "Good to see you Sabo! I hope that Luffy wasn't causing too many issues?"
Sabo chuckled, "Well he did manage to beat Doflamingo and caused quite the ruckus while doing so!" Answered the man
A chuckle was the response given by Naruto as he walked over to Zoro and presented a hand which the ladder shook. "Good to see you again as well Roronoa!"
"Likewise." The swordsman answered
As he shook the hand of the green-haired man, Naruto looked behind him to see two samurai. One of them wore makeup and was armed with a paint brush as the other had a sword drawn and was quite tall. "Who are you two? I don't believe we met before." Asked Naruto with a raised brow
"I am Kin'emon! Samurai of the land of Wano! And this is my friend and fellow samurai Kanjuro!" The samurai now known as Kinemon proudly proclaimed
The response Naruto gave was a smile, "Nice to meet you both! I'm Portgas D. Naruto! You two wouldn't happen to know a samurai by the name of Kinshiki would you?"
Kin'emon looked at Naruto with a questioning gaze. "Kinshiki was one of our master's students. But how do you know of him?"
"Simple! He's a part of my crew!" Exclaimed the Pirate proudly
Just as Kin'emon was about to respond Ace came rushing over. "Narutooo!" Yelled Ace as both Sabo and Luffy turned and got excited
"Ace! And uh-" Lufyy began to say
"Roger?! What are you doing here!? I thought I left you with your mother!?" Naruto frantically questioned
The young boy laughed, "Sorry dad I followed you."
"DAD!?" Both Sabo and Luffy yelled out
Naruto rubbed the back of his heads and put Roger over his shoulder. "Everyone I'd like you to meet Roger, my son." He told the group as Luffy walked over and inspected him
"Hmmm. What's your favorite food Rojy?" Asked the boy with the Straw Hat
"Rojy?" Ace, Sabo and Naruto questioned silently
The took a second before answering, "I know we don't get to eat it too much but I really like meat."
Luffy turned around with a grin, "I like him!"
"Sorry sir but what's your name?" Asked Roger
"I'm Luffy! And I'm going to be the King of the Pirates! And since you're Naruto's kid and I'm his brother than I guess that makes me your uh-" Luffy began as Sabo interupted
"Uncle Luffy." He finished Luffy's sentence
The boy laughed, "Ah ha! Yeah!"
Sabo then presented a hand to Roger which he shook, "My name is Sabo and I suppose I'm your uncle as well!"
The child of the current Pirate King then began to swell up as he came to the realization that he had a bigger family than he could have ever dreamed. "Really!? I have too more uncles! This is so cool!"
"Sorry to interrupt but I think Franky is coming." Zoro spoke as right on queue the cyborg arrived carrying a bunch of little people on him
"Hello Bros! I can report that all Doflamingo forces have been forced off the island which is SUUUUUPER!" The cyborg yelled as he made his signature pose which the little people mimicked
The cyborg then looked down to see the new faces of Ace, Naruto, and Roger. "Wow you're so coooool! And Leo is that you!?" Roger gleamed again, looking at Franky with star-eyes
Franky initially began to flash his Cyborg parts in hopes of further impressing the boy but the young boy's attention was soon taken by the dwarf known as Leo. "Roger-land! It's been too long!" Leo yelled out, jumping into the boy's arms
This action caused the boy's father to raise a brow as he bent over to inspect the dwarf. "Roger, who is this?" He asked as some of the others present were wondering the same thing
"Oh! Dad this is Leo! He's one of the residents of Green Bit, just of the coast of Dressrosa and has been helping the toy soldier in over throwing Doflamingo!" Exclaimed Roger as Naruto smiled, extending his pinky to the dwarf
He smiled, "My name is Naruto, Roger's father. Nice to meet you Leo!" Naruto finished as Ace than slid in and threw his arm over his brother and too extended his pinky. "My name's Ace! Roger's uncle, nice to meet you too!"
Leo took a second before he grinned and took both of their fingers and shook them. "A friend of Roger's is a friend of mine! Nice to meet you Ace-land! And Naruto-land!"
Both of the brothers looked at each other with a raised brow and were about to correct the dwarf before Zoro interuptted them. "It's their thing, just go with it."
"Apologies little person but I think we should regroup with the others. If it is true that we have won this battle than that would mean we should get moving!" Kin'emon expressed as Luffy just waved him off
"Don't worry Kin'emon! It's not like anyone is coming after us now!" Luffy exclaimed as he laughed his iconic laugh
It seemed to be infectous as Roger began to chuckle too before Ace spoke up. "Luffy you dolt! Who do you think is gonna come after they find out two people from the Worst Generation, the second in command of the revelutionary army, and the Pirate King and his crew took down a Warlord?"
"Uh-" Luffy began
"The Marines Luffy." Sabo finished for him before Luffy swung back to face his brother
He gritted his teeth, "Hey! I didn't need your help Sabo!"
"My help!? What are you on about?" Sabo retorted getting up close with Luffy
"Can you three calm down, you're embarrassing me!" Naruto told them, trying to get them under control
Luffy just stuck out his tongue. "Like I'm taking orders from you!"
Naruto just punched him in the head and everyone watched as his head stretched back before swing back and slamming into Ace's nose. "Owwww! Luffy!" The man yelled
"Stop whining Ace!" An irritated Sabo told his brother
Before long all four brothers began to throw blows and get mixed up in their own little cloud of dust punching eachother as everyone watched. As this was happening the remains of the Whirlpool Pirates began to come over. "Oh my god." Lucy expressed with a sigh as she saw her captain making a mockery of the crew again
"Does this happen often?" Roger asked
"More than you know." Answered all of the Strawhats and Whirlpool Pirates, Kin'emon and Kanjuro included
Lucy stepped forward, "I've had enough."
Pedro bumped Roger with his leg to get the boy's attention. "Cover your ears." He said
"Shit." Russ exclaimed quietly, doing the same
"ENOUGH!" Lucy yelled as all four boys immediately stopped
Zoro, though not directly involved, got an earfull as well standing beside Lucy. "It's like another Nami."
"What was that?" Asked a new figure approaching from down the destroyed street
Luffy gleamed, "Traffy!"
"Hello Strawhat-ya, who are these people?" The former warlord asked
"Oh this is Ace my brother and Nar-" He was cut off by the teleportation of Law to behind Naruto
He smiled, "This is the King of the Pirates." Drawing his sword and pointing it at his back
Within less then a second all of the Whirlpool Pirates had a weapon drawn of the Captain of the Heart Pirates. "Nice to make your acquaintance Trafalgar Law." Naruto told him, just barely turning his head
"Man you must be pretty stupid to try and go after our Capn'!" Russ exclaimed, red eye flashing with his lever action rifle on Law's jaw
Law chuckled, "Don't worry I'm not here to kill you. Strawhat-ya is my ally and being his brother I will not harm you or try to."
"Then why'd you pull a weapon?" Asked Rose
"To test you. And just so everyone knows the Marines are here. An Admiral along with something that might just be worse. . .Vice Admiral Garp."
