Hey all! I know it's been awhile since I wrote anything Emison related, so in honor of one miss Alison DiLaurentis-Fields' birthday today, here's a short one shot! I hope you guys all enjoy! :)

The DiLaurentis-Fields household was a chaotic household at times. With four women in the house, the estrogen was high. And with Grace and Lily just turning thirteen, the mood swings were all over the place. But they were happy. Emily and Alison were finally getting their happy ending with two daughters they loved with all their hearts.

Today was an ordinary day for other people, but for the DiLaurentis-Fields household it was a special day. It was Alison's birthday. The twins were going to give their mother the best birthday ever, of course, their other mother, Emily, would help as well.

They were happy. All of them were. And nothing was going to take that away.

*CRASH*

A pan that Grace was holding slipped from her hands crashing into the linoleum floor. Grace winced and looked in the direction of their mother's room.

"God, Grace, can you be any louder?" Lily scolded her sister.

"Sorry." Grace apologized. She picked up the pan and gently placed it onto the stovetop.

Their mother entered the kitchen with a concerned look on her face. "I heard a crash, what happened?"

Lily rolled her eyes and pointed at Grace. "Someone had butter fingers and dropped the pan onto the floor. Thank god, mom didn't wake up. I don't want this surprise to be ruined."

Emily chuckled. "No, your mother is still very much asleep. She used to wake up at the slightest sound when we were younger. Now she sleeps like the dead."

"Yeah, so does Grace." Lily replied, smirking. While the twins were exactly the same in appearances, their personalities differed greatly. Grace was more like Alison and tended to get into trouble and make mischief. Lily was more like Emily and tended to think before acting and was very thoughtful. Though, there were, at times, where Grace was more like Emily and Lily was more like Alison.

"So, what are we making for your mother?" Emily asked, breaking the twins out of their thoughts.

"Pancakes!" Grace replied happily. "With chocolate chips and blueberries. Oh, and bacon!"

"Sounds delicious." Emily smiled at her first born. "Though, how about you mix everything together and Lily can flip the pancakes? I distinctly remember you burning pancakes that one time." Emily smirked at her daughter. Lily laughed. She loved when her mother's hanged up on Grace. It was hilarious.

Grace huffed. "That was one time and I was eight. I'm older now and I can do something as simple as flip fricking pancakes."

"Language, Grace." Emily said. Grace rolled her eyes. Just like Alison. Emily thought to herself, smiling.

"Fine, I'll mix the pancakes." Grace huffed. "Nobody lets me do anything fun around here." She mumbled to herself. Which while rang true, Grace defied orders and did things anyways. But today wouldn't be that day because it was her mother's birthday and she deserves nothing but the best.

Thirty minutes later, the pancakes and bacon had been cooked, the fruit had been cut, and the orange juice had been poured. Emily placed everything on the breakfast tray. Lily picked up the tray and they all walked to the bedroom.

Emily silently opened the door and they all snuck in quietly. Emily took a moment to look at her sleeping wife. She smiled. She had so much love for Alison that her heart was overflowing with emotions.

Grace nudged her mother out of her love trance. "Mom, quit making love eyes at mom and help me wake her up." Grace whispered.

"I can make love eyes at your mother anytime I want." Emily whispered back. Grace rolled her eyes. It was sickening now in love her mothers were with each other, but she wouldn't trade it for the world.

Emily walked to the side of the bed where Alison was sleeping and crouched down. She pushed a strand of hair that had fallen in front of Alison's face behind her ear. Alison twitched. Emily leaned down and slowly kissed her wife. After a few seconds, Alison started kissing back. She opened her eyes slowly. She saw her wife crouching beside the bed. "Good morning, my love. Happy birthday." Emily kissed Alison again.

"Good morning, babe." Alison said after she broke the kiss. "I smell bacon." Alison said.

"That's because there's bacon in the room." Grace said. Alison finally noticed her daughters in the room. She then noticed the breakfast tray full of food.

"Oh my god, guys. You didn't have to do this." Alison smiled, tears coming to her eyes. She loved her family so much.

"No, we didn't–" Grace started at the same time as Lily said, "Yes, we did." Lily elbowed her hard in the ribs.

"Ouch, what was that for?" Grace asked, rubbing her side. "As I was saying, we didn't have to, but we wanted to. It's your birthday and you deserve nothing but the best." Grace smiled at her mother.

"Nice save." Lily whispered. Grace ignored her.

"So, the food…." Alison asked, looking at the tray that Lily was still holding.

"Oh, right, sorry." Lily said, walking over to Alison and placing the tray in her lap. Alison looked down at the splay of food taking it all in.

"These look amazing!" Alison praised, looking at the stack of chocolate chip pancakes and blueberry pancakes. The breakfast tray had a plate full of pancakes with bacon on the side, a small bowl of fruit, and a tall glass of orange juice.

"Thank you!" Grace and Lily chorused together. They smiled at one another happy that their mom was excited about their cooking.

"I'm guessing Grace didn't flip them because they don't look burnt." Alison laughed. Grade scowled at her mother.

"Bite me." Grace said, crossing her arms with a scowl on her face. Lily laughed at Grace.

"Oh, I don't, but you have. My boobs still have the scars to show for it." Alison smirked. Alison cut her pancakes and poured maple syrup on them. She took a bite and hummed in delight.

"Grace was a biter?" Lily asked, laughing.

"Yes, very much so. You on the other hand just suckled like you were supposed to do." Alison said after swallowing her food. Emily nodded. She remembered the nights when the twins were still breastfeeding where Alison's boobs were so sore that Emily couldn't hug her too tightly.

"Uh mom, did you have to say that? I didn't need to know that." Grace grimaced as she sat on the edge of the bed. Lily followed and sat next to her. Emily had stood up from her crouching position and had gotten onto the bed next to Alison.

"What? You started it." Alison laughed, picking up a piece of bacon and dipping it in the excess maple syrup on her plate. She took a bite.

"Now now, children. Settle down." Emily cut in smiling at her family. Emily leaned over and kissed her wife. "Happy birthday, my love."

"You already said that." Alison laughed.

"I know, but I wanted to say it again. In fact, I'm going to say it all day. Just in case your forget that it's your birthday today." Emily smiled and kissed her again.

"Gross." Grace whispered. Lily swatted her arm.

"At least they have someone to kiss. Who's going to want to kiss your bitey mouth?" Lily teased. Grace swatted Lily back.

"Who says I haven't kissed anyone yet?" Grace retorted back. Lily's eyes widened and Alison and Emily snapped their heads to their daughter.

"You kissed someone? Who? When?" Emily asked in quick succession. Alison wanted to know too. Grace's eyes widened much like Lily's had a few moments earlier. She didn't think it was that big of a deal. She had kissed Aidan. They had both agreed they wanted their first kiss to be with each other and have it mean something then for them to kiss other people and have it not. She hadn't told anyone about it, not even her sister.

"Uh, did I imply I kissed someone? I meant that uhhh…." Grace was having trouble coming up with an excuse. She sighed in defeat. "I kissed Aidan." She mumbled.

"Aidan?" Our Aidan?" Alison asked in shock.

"Yes, mom. What other Aidan do you know of?" Grace sassed back.

"So, do we need to have The Talk with you?" Emily asked slowly, her eyes pinched in concern. Grace's eyes widened in shock.

"What?! No, no, nope. You most definitely do not need to give me that. I'm thirteen for god's sake, mom. It was an innocent peck on the lips. And please for the love of god, do not call Aunt Hanna and ask her to interrogate Aidan." Grace pleaded.

Emily looked at Alison who shrugged. "Fine, but we will give you and your sister The Talk sometime in the future and you won't get out of it. And I'll be sure to tell Hanna to give Aidan The Talk as well. But for right now, I trust you." Grace sighed in relief.

"So, Lily, have you kissed anyone?" Alison asked her youngest daughter.

"Nope, we are not doing this with me." Lily waved her hands in front of her in a crossing motion. Everyone laughed. Lily did have her eye on someone, but she's been too chicken to tell them she liked them. It didn't help that like Aidan, they were one of the Liars kids. Lily really liked Lincoln who was two years older than her. She didn't know if she was even on his radar as someone to go out with. She'd maybe muster up the courage and ask her sister for advice. Even if Grace tended to get out of control at times, she still gave sound advice and was always there for Lily when she needed her.

Grace and Lily started talking amongst themselves while their mothers only had eyes for each other. "I'm so happy right now." Alison said, kissing Emily again. Emily broke the kiss to talk.

"So am I. I never thought I would get this, and now that I have it, I'm never letting go." Emily kissed Alison again and they both hummed into the kiss this time.

"Okay, okay, we get it. You're in love. Mushy squash." Lily said laughing as Alison and Emily broke their kiss. They looked at their children with love in their eyes. God, they had the best life.

Grace and Lily looked back at their mothers with equally the same love. They loved their life. They had the best mothers and the best aunts and uncles and cousins, two girls could ask for.

"Mushy squash love is the best kind of love." Emily replied, smiling. She snuck one more kiss with Alison.

"Did you guys do this much PDA around your best friends?" Lily asked. Alison and Emily shared a look and a smile. Emily has a faint pink blush coating her cheeks.

"Oh my god, you guys totally did!" Grace exclaimed, noticing the look her mothers shared. "I bet Aunt Hanna has so many great stories to tell." Grace smirked, cocking an eyebrow in a very Alison DiLaurentis way.

"You will ask your Aunt Hanna no such thing if you'd like to stay in the Will." Alison scowled.

"Well shit, if that's the threat, you know there's some good stories." Grace teased nudging her sister.

"Language, Grace." Emily said, sighing. She shook her head. Grace would always be a rambunctious child.

"We should start a swear jar and charge $5 a swear. We'd make a pretty penny." Alison said.

"And I'd be broke before I'm sixteen. It's a no from me." Grace said.

"I would have no problem with that." Lily said with a small laugh.

"Of course you wouldn't, Miss Suck Up." Grace scoffed, rolling her eyes.

"I can't help it if I'm the favorite child of this family." Lily teased.

"You may be the favorite child of this family, but I'm the favorite cousin and that means more." Grace retorted back. "Anyways, I'm still going to take the risk and ask Aunt Hanna for some juicy stories about you two." Grace said, pointing at her mothers. "Don't worry, I won't ask for the R rated stories. I am your child and I'd like to get through my childhood relatively unscarred for life." Grace said laughing.

Emily sighed and looked at her daughters. She knew that even if she and Alison told Grace not to do something, chances are, she would still do it. Sometimes Lily even went along with her antics for what she called "sister duty." She told her mothers it was to keep an eye on Grace, but they knew that sometimes Grace managed to rope Lily into actually partaking in whatever activity Grace was doing that she wasn't supposed to.

Alison fell back onto her pillows. "Grace, what am I going to do with you?" She asked, laughing.

"Uhhh, I hope nothing bad." Grace laughed lightly. She knew she was the troublemaker in the family and when she teamed up with Aidan Rivers, they were a force to be reckoned with. Thinking about Aidan gave her an idea. She was totally going to ask Aidan to ask his mother for stories about her mothers and have him relay them back to her. Loophole! Grace thought. She smirked.

"What are you smirking about?" Lily asked. Alison and Emily looked at Grace.

"Oh nothing." Grace replied, slapping an innocent smile into her face.

"Yeah, I'm sure it's nothing." Lily said, raising her eyebrow.

Alison had been quietly eating the rest of her breakfast while Grace and Lily had been bickering.

"Girls, thank you for such a wonderful birthday breakfast. Everything tasted amazing." Alison said, looking at her daughters. The girls beamed in delight.

"Now, what's next on the agenda?" Alison asked, making a motion to get out of bed.

"Uhhhh, we didn't think that far ahead." Lily replied sheepishly.

Emily cut in laughing, "Good thing I did." Grace made a motion of pretending to wipe sweat from her forehead.

"Phew. We lucked out today, Lils." Grace said. Lily nodded in agreement.

"So, I'm sure you too want to do certain things, so Lily and I are going to bounce. I'm going to go bother Baylee." Grace started to walk backwards tugging her sister with her. Baylee was Spencer and Toby's youngest kid and one of Grace and Lily's best friends. She had an older brother named Ethan who was one year younger than the twins.

"Grace!" Emily said indignantly.

"What? Tell me I'm wrong." Grace was almost in the hallway. Emily blushed and looked at Alison who was silently laughing. She had always been able to take anything sex related with ease while Emily blushed. It was worse enough that their own daughters were giving them alone time.

"Okay, okay. Go bother your cousins." Alison laughed, shooing her daughters out of the bedroom. "Thank you again for the breakfast, girls." Alison said, smiling widely.

You're welcome, mom. And happy birthday." The girls said in unison.

"We can open presents later." Alison called out.

Grace stuck her head back into the room. "Who says you have presents?" She teased. Alison raised an eyebrow.

"You need better hiding spots, daughter of mine." Alison teased back. Grace huffed while Emily and Lily chucked.

The twins finally backed up into the hallway and closed the door behind them.

"So, want to see if Ethan and Lincoln want to hang out? Maybe Aidan and Baylee are available too." Alison and Emily heard Grace ask Lily. Lincoln was the Fitz's oldest child. Katherine was the second oldest, and Haven and Jasper were the youngest and were only one year apart. The Marin family consisted of Aidan and Ava. Aidan was one year younger than the twins and Ava was three years younger. The Cavanaugh family was made up of Ethan who was a year younger than the twins and Baylee who was two years younger than her brother.

Alison's brother had also settled down and had kids with his wife Taylor. Kingsley was ten years old and his younger brother Carson was eight years old.

The Liars family was big and everyone was happy. They've been through hell and back in high school and when they came back to Rosewood after college. But they made it through in the end and had beautiful kids to show for it.

Emily turned to Alison. "So," she trailed her hand down Alison's pajama covered side and slipped her hand underneath the top, "do you wanna make out some more?" Emily asked, her eyes full of love and devotion.

Alison laughed and looked up at her wife, "Why Miss DiLaurentis-Fields, I thought you'd never ask." Alison leaned up and kissed Emily pulling her down on top of her. Emily was still dressed in her pajamas as well, but soon they'd both be wearing nothing. Alison flipped their position so that she was on top. She looked down at her wife sprawled on the bed sheets. She leaned down

"Thank you, Emily, for giving me such a wonderful life with two beautiful daughters." Alison said with tears prickling in her eyes.

"Alison, I would give you anything in the world if it meant seeing you smile how you're smiling right now." Emily leaned up and softly kissed Alison.

"Happy birthday, Alison." Emily leaned back down and looked up at her wife. They both looked at each other with love in their eyes. Alison leaned down and rolled off of Emily. She cuddled into Emily's side and lay her head on her chest.

"I love you, Emily."

"I love you too, Alison."

As they lay in their bed cuddling up against one another, they both thought to themselves, yes, that mushy squash kinda love was the best kinda love in the world. And they had tons of it from their family and their friends. The DiLaurentis-Fields family was certainly chaotic at times, but it was filled with love and happiness and nothing could top that. Ever.

~ FIN ~

I hope you all enjoyed this little fic. Emily and the twins definitely have a special day planned for Alison today for her 27th birthday. Of course in this fic, I've done a time jump so the twins are thirteen. In the canon universe, they're turning four this year.

I will try to finish MIA this summer. I will have to rework a few things so some things might be deleted. So if you notice something that you don't remember, it's probably a change I did to make the story more coherent. I wrote the fic when I was 16/17 and I'm now 21 and my writing ability has certainly improved.

I hope everyone has a great summer!
