So this is the second chapter of the story. I have a basic idea so far as to what I want to happen but for the most part the story is writing itself. So if any questions arise that people need clarification as to what and how something happened leave a comment and I'll be glad to clarify in the next chapter.

Chapter 2

After Hinata went to the compound with Hiashi and Hanabi Naruto, Himawari, and Boruto went back home. None of the Uzumaki's were happy about the situation at hand.

"why don't we go to Ichiraku and eat ramen" Naruto says trying to take their mind off today "we can even invite Sarada and Shikadai to eat with us" he continues on.

"Ok… but papa mama said that it's not good to only eat ramen" Himawari says remembering what her mother had told her "we won't eat it everyday just today… how does that sound" Naruto says bending down so that he can look at her in the eyes "that's fine tou-chan can I go ask Sarada and Shikadai if they want to eat ramen with us" Boruto says getting ready to leave to which Naruto just nods his head informing him he can go "meet us at Ichiraku's okay" Naruto tells Boruto as he runs out the door "Hai" is all that he says then he's gone.

"So my little sunflower why don't you get what you need and I'm going to get Gama-chan so that we can go" Naruto says patting her head "Ok papa" she says smiling up at him then ran upstairs. "What are you doing Kit eating ramen is not going to solve your problems you should know that by know considering the amount of times you've tried" Kurama says in his most passive aggressive tone "yeah I know that but I also have my kids to worry about and I can't exactly cook and they have to eat one way or another so they might as well enjoy some time with their friends so they don't worry too much about Hinata" Naruto says trying to justify his actions Kurama just hums and goes back to sleep. Naruto returns to looking for Gama-chan which he finds in his office.

"Hima you ready Bolt must already be waiting for us" Naruto shouts from downstairs she doesn't respond, and he starts to get worried "Hima you ok" he yells from downstairs again and still no answer. "Himawari" Naruto calls out for her again now climbing the stairs to go find her. Then he hears a crash which jolts him into action, and he runs up the stairs to Himawari's room "Himawari are you ok" he says bursting in through the door and that is when he sees her on the floor of her room unconscious, he looks around the room and notices her window is open he disperses a shadow clone to see if they can find anything.

Naruto quickly picks up Himawari and runs to Sakura's house knowing that she should be home by now and can help. "Hima come on please wake up I can't lose you too" he says to her as he jumps from roof to roof until he finally arrives at Sakura's house. He does not even bother knocking just barges in and yells "Sakura help".

Sakura who was in her room getting ready to sleep after working a 14-hour shift at the hospital hears somebody come into her house at first she is concerned but then she hears Naruto call out for help and rushes downstairs to see what's happened "Naruto what wrong" she says then notices the unconscious Himawari in his arms.

"I don't know what happened she went upstairs to go get something before going to eat ramen, I called for her to come downstairs but she didn't answer next thing I know hear a crash we I get to her room I notice the window is open and she on the floor unconscious" Naruto says not even taking a breath once then he starts sobbing.

"I'm a terrible father" Naruto says in between his sobs. Sakura wants to comfort him, but she is more worried about Himawari at the moment. "Naruto can you lay Hima down on the couch so I can check her out" she says putting her hand on his shoulder trying her best to comfort him. He nods and goes to lay Himawari down once Sakura start to check her out Naruto remembers that Boruto was out by himself, and he might also be in danger as well, so he sends out another shadow clone to tell Boruto to meet him at Sakura's house.

The other shadow clone that was out investigating come back with no information. Which makes the whole situation worse Hinata doesn't have her memory, and somebody went after Himawari he knows that now he's got to be on high alert. "She's going to be ok she hit her head and that's why she lost consciousness, but other than that she is physically fine" Sakura says which snaps Naruto out of his thoughts "thank Kami" he says truly relieved that his daughter was going to be okay.

"I don't know what I would do if something happened to her" he says letting out a sigh of exasperation because of all the troubles this day has brought. Sakura sighs and puts her hand on his shoulder again "I know that today has been tough but at least you should know that you are not a bad father… you are a great father who worries about his kids constantly and yeah you work a lot and aren't there as much as you wish to be but whenever you are there you give them so much love and attention, they fell suffocated… I might be biased but I think you are a great father, and I would bet my life on the fact that Hinata also thinks that you are a great father too" she says to him trying to cheer him up so that he can be strong for his kids and his wife "Thanks Sakura" he says getting up to be next to Himawari.

A couple minutes later Himawari start to stir and wakes up "papa" she says lowly that he almost didn't hear. "hey Hime how are you feeling" Naruto says reaching out to grab her hand.

"I'm okay but my head is hurting" Himawari says trying to sit up "hey you don't need to get up yet" he says pushing her back lightly so she's laying down again "but what about Boruto… we have to meet him to go eat ramen" she says looking up at him with her big blue eyes which make him melt over the fact that she is so cute.

"He should be here soon" he says and on queue Boruto and Sarada run into the house "Tou-chan, Hima where are you" he says franticly. "We are in here Boruto" he says loudly so they could follow his voice and they walk into the living room where Himawari and Naruto where at. Without even paying attention to Naruto Boruto goes to Himawari side almost knocking Naruto over "Hima what happened to you" he says sitting her up so he could give her a hug.

"I don't really remember I went to my room to get my panda and the next thing I know I'm here in Auntie Sakura house" she says look around a bit as if to make sure that is where she actually was.

"Hokage-sama your clone said that there might have been an intruder" Sarada says speaking up for the first time "yes there might have been but I didn't see them so I can't know for sure…" Naruto says trailing off to talk to Kurama.

"I don't want to, but I think that they might have to stay at the Hyuga compound… I wanted to give Hinata some space so that she could process all the information that was through at her… I want your honest opinion what should I do" Naruto says really wanting someone to solve all his problems for him "Kit you know that I can't solve your problems you should do what you think is best… your instincts are not generally wrong. Plus Knowing your mate, she would not mind have your kits around" Kurama says to him knowing full in well that his confidence is lacking because of the events that had transpired toady.

"…Bolt, Hima lets go home and pack some clothes we are going to sleep over at the compound with Grandpa and Hanabi… maybe we might even see Kaa-chan" Naruto says know that this is the best option for their safety. At the moment he had no clue as to who coming after his family, but he wasn't going to stop until he finds them because they should have thought twice before messing with his wife and kids.

"really Tou-chan we are going to sleepover" Boruto asks questioning his father's motivation for such a prompt decision. "dattebayo" Naruto says giving him his most sincere smile and rubbing his head.

"Sarada tell Sakura thanks for everything. I'll most likely have to come around sometime tomorrow to discuss somethings with her" Naruto says looking at Sarada "of course Hokage-sama I'll relay the message to my mother" Sarada says bowing at him to which he puts his hand on her shoulder as if to tell her it was not necessary.

"All right let's get going its already late and I have to explain everything to your grandfather" Naruto says while picking up Himawari and walking towards the door to leave. On the walk home there was silence none of the family members knowing what to say. "Do we really get to see mama, papa" Himawari asks looking over to Naruto who is still carrying her. He looks over to her with and smile and nods which gets her excited.

When they finally reach the house Naruto does a quick scan to make sure its safe then goes up stairs with Boruto and Himawari to pack the stuff they need. "You guys ready" Naruto asks looking at both of them with their bags "Hai" they say in unison "All right let's get going" Naruto says, and they leave the house and head for the Hyuga compound.

When they reach the compound Naruto knocks on the door to which a guard opens "… Hokage-sama what are you doing here at this hour" the guard who answers the door asks "I need to speak with Lord Hiashi and Hanabi-sama tell them that it is urgent" Naruto says to the guard who quickly bows and goes to get Hiashi and Hanabi.
