So here is another chapter of the story hope you guys enjoy please leave a comment over any thought you guys have or just to tell me how you feel about the story in general.

Chapter 3

Hanabi was getting ready for bed when she hears a knock at her door. She goes to open the door and sees one of her family's guards "yes" she says not knowing why he would be bothering her at this late hour.

"Hanabi-Sama, Lord Seventh is at the front gates and he request your and Lord Hiashi's presence he says that it is urgent" The guard says and Hanabi walks out of her room quickly shutting the door behind her "Go get my father immediately" she says as she walks in the direction of Naruto knowing that if he was here at this time saying it was urgent the situation must be dire "yes of course" the guard says bowing his head and going in the direction of Hiashi room.

When Hanabi reaches Naruto, she notices that Himawari and Boruto are with him and the bags they have with them. "Naruto what's wrong, what are you guys doing here" she asks stopping herself from asking all the other questions racing through her head. "Hanabi, I need Boruto and Himawari to stay here for tonight it might be more time than that… but they have to stay here tonight" Naruto says trying hard not to down to mask his shame that he let something happen to Himawari.

"Naruto is everything alright" Hiashi says joining the group at the front gates "No, I was just telling Hanabi that Boruto and Himawari have to stay here tonight" Naruto says looking at Hiashi now to which the man just nods and looks at the guard who had delivered the message to him "Get my grandchildren situated in their rooms get Natsu to help you" Hiashi says and returns his attention back to Naruto "of course Hiashi-Sama… come children" The guard says bowing his head at Hiashi then sticking his hand out telling Himawari and Boruto to follow him "bye Tou-chan" both Himawari and Boruto say before following the guard to their rooms at the compound "bye" Naruto says quietly questioning again if this is the best option leaving his children.

"Why don't we go to my office so you can explain the situation to me Naruto" Hiashi says snapping Naruto out of his thoughts. "Yes, I think that would be best" Naruto says and starts to follow Hanabi and Hiashi towards Hiashi office. When they reach the office Hiashi goes and sits behind his desk and Hanabi closes the door behind them before going to stand at his side. "Tell me Naruto what is it that happened that caused you to make such a prompt decision" Hiashi says hoping now he can get an answer as to why his grandchildren are stay at the compound. Not that he minded he loved having them around, but he knows that Naruto would never just spring this up on him.

"… I believe there was an attack…" Naruto says, and this makes Hiashi and Hanabi go wide eye "an attack on who" Hiashi asks now concerned. "… On Himawari, we went back home, and I told the kids that we would be eating out. Boruto wasn't home because he was inviting his friend to come eat with us, I was downstairs looking for Gama-Chan, While Himawari went to get something of hers. When I called her down, she didn't answer, and I heard a crash. I immediately ran upstairs and saw Himawari unconscious the window to her room was open I had a shadow clone investigate while I took Himawari to go get checked out by Sakura the clone found nothing… I'm afraid that what happened to Hinata was entirely and accident this could be a planed attack by someone but then again I am not entirely sure" Naruto says finishing tell them what had happened. "This changes thing" Hiashi said not really showing any emotion to the fact that his daughter and granddaughter life might be in danger. Hanabi on the other hand visibly showed her concern over the news that he big sister and darling niece might be in danger. "Are you sure that the events are connected because this could cause a big problem" Hanabi said looking intently at Naruto. "No, I'm not, not enough to go and start a hunt for a person I not even sure is real… this is all so complicated and its only the first night" Naruto said breathing out a sigh in exasperation.

"Himawari come on don't you want to see Kaa-chan" Boruto said holding onto his sister's arm pulling her in the direction of the door so that they could sneak out of their room and go see their mother. "Yes, I want to go see mama, but I don't think that we are allowed onii-chan" Himawari said to her older brother not wanting either of them to get in trouble. "We will be fine why would we even get in trouble for that… but if you don't want to come you don't have to" Boruto said to his sister before letting go of her hand and going out the room by himself. Knowing his sister very well he knew that she would soon follow after him so when he heard the door of the room close behind him, he looked back and saw her running towards him. Boruto smiled at her and said "come on I'm sure she will be happy to see us ttebasa" then grabbed her hand and made their way to Hinata's room.

Hinata was just laying down on her bed looking up at the ceiling trying to wrap her mind at the news she had gotten like the fact that she was married to Naruto-kun and they had a family together. It was enough to drive a girl mad all this information just thrown at her. She was awakened from her daze when she heard a knock at the door thinking that is might have been her father or her little sister who at the moment was older than her, she didn't even bother to ask who it was before opening. When Hinata opened the door, she saw two small children which she soon came to realize were the kids from the hospital, the ones who were hers and Naruto's.

Himawari smiled at Hinata "hi mama are you feeling better" Himawari asked with the most innocent smile on her face "yes I am feeling better thank you" Hinata answers her giving a polite smile "so can we come in" Boruto says to Hinata not really waiting for a response and walking in with Himawari in tow. "Uhm… I guess so" Hinata says to them closing the door behind them.

"So why are you guys here" Hinata asks Himawari and Boruto "uhm… well we wanted to come see you and see how you were doing… maybe even help you remember us" Boruto says sort of mumbling the last part.

Hinata looks at them realizing that this is just as bad for them as it was for her she lost all her memories, but they lost their mother in a way. "Plus, papa said that we are sleeping over at the compound so we can be here with you" Himawari says going to hug her mother's legs. Hinata looks down at her fondly knowing that this little girl had everyone eating from the palm of her hand.

"Well, I am little glad you guys are here maybe you can help me remember the things that I forgot" Hinata says smiling at them this being for the benefit of both of them she could get answers to her past or was it her future she wasn't entirely sure, and they'd get to be with their mother. "Yeah, that's a great idea we can tell you whatever you want to know" Boruto says excitedly at the fact that he gets to tell his mother of all his adventures but before Hinata could even ask anything they hear a voice outside yelling. "Himawari, Boruto where did you guys go" it was Naruto after he had finished talking to Hiashi and Hanabi he went to go check up on them, but they were gone.

"we're in here papa" Himawari yells and Naruto the bust through the door not even thinking to knock "you guys scared me" Naruto says giving both his children a hug "what are you even doing in here" Naruto says looking at his children sternly. "Naruto-kun don't be mad at them I wanted to get to know them a bit, so they were going to tell me some stories" Hinata says to Naruto not wanting the kids to be in trouble. Naruto looks over at her and smiles "well if its stories that you want, I have way more than they do… so tell me what do you want to know" he says with a grin on his face.

So that was the chapter I hope you guys liked it. This is actually the first story that I have published so I'm a little nervous all the other stories that I wrote were for my eyes only so this is new territory for me. I really hope you guys like the chapter its a little short but the next one is going to to be longer so I hope you guys will like it.
