Okay guys I am finally back with the 4th chapter this was especially hard for he to write because I didn't know exactly how to word everything. But I finally got my mind in order and wrote it if you have any comments for how I could have done better please tell me I am trying to improve as a writer anyways on with the story.

"What stories do I want to hear? That's sort of a hard question because I really don't know what happened" Hinata says with a light blush.
"I guess you are right about that" Naruto says laughing nervously and scratch that back of his head. "Papa why don't you tell mama the moon story" Himawari says with a smile this being one of her favorite stories about her parents. Naruto gives his signature smile at Himawari "you really love that story don't you Hima" Naruto says rubbing her head to which she just smiles back at him.
"Ok so the moon story starts with a fox and a princess… The fox had grown up hated by everyone, well not everyone there was on person who had loved the fox before everyone else he just didn't know it. That person was the princess she was the most kind and caring person the fox had ever met but he was kind of dumb and didn't notice that she cared for him.
The fox had one goal and that was to become the strongest shinobi that had ever lived and to gain the respect of those who made fun of him, and he did achieve his goal. But the princess also had a goal and that was to follow in the steps of the fox and become strong like he did. So, they both worked hard for their goal, and they eventually were able to accomplish it. After all the war that the fox and princess had fought in there was peace and with this time of peace the fox and princess become close friends and because of this the princess thought that its was time to tell him how she felt.
So, she decided that she was going to tell him on his birthday when she gives him her present which was a red scarf that she had knit." Naruto says this looking at Hinata who's eyes grew big at the realization he was talking about them.
"Papa keep telling the story" Himawari says poking Naruto "yeah Tou-chan get to the part where they are fighting all this love stuff is boring" Boruto says giving out a sigh "ok, ok so where was I… right the princess is going to give the fox her gift… So, on the night of his birthday the princess had finished the scarf and was determined to give the fox her gift and tell him how she felt. So, she walked to his favorite restaurant a Ramen stand because the fox might have been dumb, but he knew that ramen-chan is the best meal in all the land." Naruto says with little hearts in his eyes when he talked about his ramen-chan Boruto just scoffed and Hinata and Himawari giggled at his antics.
"any way the princess was about to give the fox her gift when she saw that he was surrounded by a bunch of girls. To which I must add he felt nothing for he was just being nice. But in seeing this the Princess lost her confidence to go up to him and walked away she eventually ended up in front of the fox's apartment hoping to see him away from everyone and give her gift and share her feelings.
When the fox arrived, he had a scarf around his neck and this again through the princess off and she was not able to give him her gift or reveal her feelings. She ran away from the fox and ended up a park sitting on one of the swings where she cried over the fact that she was too late, and she and the fox would never be together. While she was on the swing a man came up to her and asked her why she was crying over her scarf she told the man that she had just released was there that she didn't need the scarf anymore to which he says then can I have it. I mean is that not the creepiest thing to say." Naruto retorts.
"Now the princess a little creeped out by this asked the man who he was he said that he was Toneri and that he had come for her and out of nowhere a man in a black cape come up behind the princess and grabs a hold of her. The fox who was worried about how they had left things went looking for her only to find two men holding her and trying to kidnap her. So, what does he do he kicks every one's ass saving the princess because that is just how amazing the fox is," Naruto says bosting a little at the last part.
"Now what the Fox and Princess didn't know was that the man named Toneri had a backup plan in case he was not able to capture the princess and instead took her younger sister, but this wasn't the only thing the man named Toneri lived on the moon and was controlling it so that it would crash into the earth killing everyone. When the fox and princess found out about this, they and three of their friends went on a journey to go find Toneri and save the princess's sister and save the Earth.
On their way to the moon the fox had taken notice in the princess. Its was small things like how beautiful she was and how great of a kunoichi she was he was starting to feel something for her that he hadn't felt before but couldn't put a name on it.
Later on in their trip they encountered a magic lake that seemed to be a sort of passage to the moon, but the lake was protected by a genjutsu so when the team when in there they got caught in it. While under this genjutsu the fox saw memories that he had shared with the princess when they were younger and with seeing them again, he took notice how much the princess actually cared for him, but I wasn't just that she cared for him she loved him, and the fox was dense when I came to emotions, but he released that he loved her too."
Naruto continued to tell the story looking at Hinata at the last part hoping that she would understand that he meant it. "When they woke up from the genjutsu the fox had just had this big realization, but he was scared to tell her, so he didn't say anything.
When they were leaving, he noticed that the princess wasn't behind them, so he went back to go get her but then he saw what it was that was holding her back the weird guy from the moon who had kidnapped her sister. They seemed to be having a conversation, but the fox didn't think much of it and sprang into action going to attack Toneri the fox being a total badass kicked Toneri ass just to find out he was actually a puppet.
Before the puppet was broken it said to the princess 'I will be coming back to get your answer' see the fox was confused the answer to what but that was not important to him the most important thing was making sure that the princess was ok. When the fox asked her, she said that she was fine, but the fox was still worried. They started walking back towards their team and when they got there, they noticed that they were having a battle of their own the fox's friend told him that if he ever left the princess behind again, she would punch him, so the fox vowed to the princess to never let her out of his sight.
After they got out of the cave, they reached an abandoned city of some ancient civilization. Because the city was so big the team decided to split up and look around the fox and princess got teamed up together and while they were there, they got closer to each other. The team eventually found a secret passage that led them to what seemed a crypt and out of the shadows a man appeared muttering about the byakugan and how he could sense the Byakugan no Hime which was what Toneri had called her so the fox jumped in front of the man telling him to stay away from the princess to which he just opened his mouth and this big ball of chakra came out it flashed and next thing the fox knows the princess is fainting.
After that the man broke apart like the puppet but you could tell that he was a real person before he died, he said something about stopping Otsutsuki and how the tenseigan had been awoken.
After the princess woke up the medic on their team checked her she said she was fine. Later on, the fox was walking around where the princess was to find her knitting her scarf again, she was always doing that when they had free time. The fox was worried about her, so he tried talking to her, but she just shot him down saying that she wanted to be alone, and he didn't want to push her, so he left it at that.
The next day they went to another abandoned city to look around there was this tension between the both of them the princess was off in her own world and the fox wanted to talk to her, but he was scared and didn't exactly know what to say.
That night the princess was in the middle of a clearing knitting her scarf again using the light that the butterflies were giving off to see. The fox eventually approached her, and he could tell that she was upset. She told him about how much she was worried for her sister the fox understood that she was sad, so he said that she didn't need to worry because he was going to save her sister, she thanked him saying how he was always to kind to her.
Now the fox didn't really think before he spoke told her that he wasn't kind to her because he loved her or anything. This gave the princess a pause she stared at him standing up from her place asking him what he just said. The fox paused for a moment releasing what he said but didn't regret it, so he finally told he what he had been wanting to tell her for a while that he loved her.
She was undoubtedly shocked by this but before the fox could say anything else Toneri showed up the foxed jumped to protect the princess and asked him where her sister was, but he ignored him and said that he was only them to get the princess response. The princess walked out from behind the fox with the scarf she had knitted finally complete she handed it to the fox and walked towards Toneri and he hugged her but what was worse was that she leaned into the hug.
The fox could only stare as the platform they were on floated away his anger bubbled up to the point where he screamed out her name and followed screaming at him to give her back to which he responded that she came of her own free will and that they are to be married.
This again stopped the fox in his tracks, and he looks at the princess asking for conformation she just looked away from him and at that moment the fox had his heart broken.
Toneri attacked him with a ball that went it to his body and sucked out all of his chakra and from this the fox passed out falling from the sky. The fox woke up a few days later remembering the heart brake that he had experienced.
His team told him that they had to go save them, but the fox didn't want to, so he ignored what they said. What did eventually give him the will to fight again was the words of one of his best friends she said, 'when a girl falls in love and its true love her feeling can't change that easily' and with that he knew that he had to go help her because she didn't go with Toneri because she loved him it was to save someone she actually loved.
The fox and his team eventually made it to where the Princess and Toneri were his team told him to go on ahead and save her they would worry about fighting Toneri puppets. The fox luckily had gotten there just in time and stopped the wedding. Toneri had the princess under his control and her to attack the fox the fox swiftly dodged her attacks and took out the thing that had her under his spell.
This enraged the fox Toneri was controlling the princess as if she were some sort of puppet and Toneri straight out told him that the princess belonged to him now and pulled her body back. As the fox was about to fight back Toneri let out a huge gust of wind pinning him against the wall lucky the princess was starting to wake up and before he could put her back under his control, he got a huge pain in his eyes indicating that the tenseigan was activating. Using this opportunity to escape the princess and the fox went to go destroy the tenseigan.
When they reached it, the princess told the fox that they had to destroy, and the fox was about to but the princess only she could, so she used her 8-trigram twin lion fist, but her attack wasn't strong enough. Seeing that she was unable to the fox grabbed her hand earning a look from the princess to which he tells her that if she infuses her chakra into him then they can destroy it together. Once the tenseigan is broken apart they found out that it was actually made of byakugan eyes, and it was controlling the puppets so all the puppets that were attacking his team suddenly broke down.
Once they reunited again with the rest of the team their pink haired teammate gave the princess a piece of the scarf that Toneri had destroyed earlier. The fox knowing that that was for him asked if he could have it even though it was destroyed when she gave it to him, he told her that he would cherish it forever."
Naruto story was interrupted by Himawari "And you did right papa you still have the piece of the scarf in your memory box" Himawari said ecstatic to which Naruto just smiled "yeah I do Hima but let me finish the story" Naruto says to her sweetly and she smiles and nods.
"So where was I… Ah so the fox and the princess thought that they were done but the moon was still moving towards the earth so they had to go find Toneri and defeat him and they did together they were able to beat him and at the end of their battle the princess took back her sisters eyes which Toneri had taken from her.
As they were on their way back to earth the fox took the princess up in the sky and told her that he loved her and that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her then they kissed right under the moon and to be honest that is the most romantic thing that he had done in his whole life. The End"
Naruto said finishing off his story finally he looked Hinata who looked like she was about to cry and then at his kids Boruto was trying to hide the fact that he loved the story and Himawari looked a little annoyed "Tou-chan you forgot something in the story" Himawari said puffing her checks.
"Huh… what did I forget Hima I pretty sure I said everything important" Naruto says trying to retrace his thought to see what he forgot "You forgot that you and mama live happily ever after and have me and Nii-chan." She says looks intensely at her father to which he flinches remembering what she can do to him he pities the person who upset his sunflower to the point of violence.
"Yeah… I guess I did I'm sorry Hima" Naruto says rubbing the back of his head he turns his head a little and notices the clock releasing that it is late, and his kids should be in bed.
"Ok guys you had a story you got to see Kaa-chan its time to go to your rooms and go to sleep you have school tomorrow" Naruto says trying to sound as stern as possible. Boruto just tsks at him and grabs Himawari's hand "Fine old man we will get out of here… and don't you do anything weird with Kaa-chan" Boruto says as they head towards the door.
Hinata face turns a deep red and Naruto has a light blush on his cheeks "hey I'm not some pervert who can't keep his hand to himself" Naruto yells at Boruto his eye twitching Boruto just tsks again and closes the door behind him.
"The k-kids seem g-great" Hinata says looking a Naruto the blush on her face lighter than it was before. Naruto pulled out of his annoyance of his son looks at her and gives her his famous smile "yeah they are that's all thanks to you I can't really take much credit there" Naruto says rubbing the back of his head.
"N-n-no Boruto is a lot like you and Himawari your confidence" she says to which can just nod a little. "Yeah, that's true but they are both the greatest kids because of you. Boruto is a handful, but I understand that he's the way he is because he wants attention and Himawari is an angel who just wants to please both of us she is like an exact copy of you" Naruto says smiling at Hinata and she smiles back at him blush growing. "… Welp I should get out of your hair I know you must be tired from the day you have had… Good Night Hime" Naruto says getting up and walking towards the door. When Hinata hears him call her Hime her whole face turns red. "Naruto… thank you f-for the story and the life you have given me" Hinata says barely above a whisper that he almost didn't catch it.
"I should be thanking you, you gave me a family which I had always wanted and lets be honest you are to good for me anybody who sees us together can tell you that" Naruto says to her looking back before taking his leaving and closing the door behind him. Hinata lets out a sigh and falls back onto her bed staring at the ceiling she wishing that she could just remember her life with Naruto and their family before closing her eyes and let sleep overcome her.
Alright so that was the 4th chapter and I know that it is mostly a retelling of the last but I hope that it is a least written well this was truly a challenge for me as a writer. But even with that I hope you guys like it and I also feel the need to say that no matter what I will not abandon this story. Its my first story so I want to finish it and get it right. I will not always be able to post continuously because I have school and stuff but I will when I can. Thanks for all the people reading this story from the mad scientist
