"Naruto-kun I'm fine calm down," Hinata tries to calm her husband as they wait for Sakura in her hospital room, which isn't really necessary but after she fainted in the bathroom this morning, she suddenly woke up in a hospital bed and when she asked her husband why they are there he just said 'in case'.

"Hinata just rest, okay? Sakura will be back later with your results," Her husband said as he sits down in the chair beside her bed and holds her hand.

"I still don't get it why we need to go to the hospital Naruto-kun, I just fainted one time, maybe it was because… I don't know… but I know it's not serious," Hinata tries to reason out with her husband with their unnecessary trip to the hospital.

"No Hinata, lately you said you felt really sick,"

"That was because you always give me cinnamon rolls and other foods even though I'm not hungry Naruto-kun,"

"Y-you're right…" Hinata can tell that Naruto just realized that from the look from his face.

"But! You eat them anyways Hinata," Naruto's face lit up again from his statement,

"Yes, because you gave them to me,"

"Thank you for that but you can't deny your appetite is getting big now," Naruto reason out more to his wife.

"Yes, I know, maybe I became too fat that's why I fainted,"

"No! You are not fat! Your body is perfect Hinata! I can justify that!"

"Please lower your voice Naruto-kun," Hinata blushed as she tries her best to warn her husband, worried that the other room might hear him.

"I'm sure it's nothing serious, I can even see my chakra levels with my own eyes and I'm perfectly fine," Hinata continued.

"That's the point, you can see it but I can feel it… there is something," Naruto said, confused, he doesn't know how to say it.

"Feel it?"

"Yeah, one time I used my sage mode so I can go home faster when I felt something weird in our home so I rushed inside to only find you alone. First, I thought it was an enemy or an intruder but there is no way you wouldn't sense it or see it and then I realized that it was not a negative energy I felt, it was… something… I don't know," Naruto couldn't put them into words, it was obvious to Hinata.

"Maybe you're over thinking this Naruto-kun,"

"You're right… but just in case," Naruto said as he held her hand tighter.

Naruto looks more nervous than usual, pacing back and forth in the room, at first he tries to hide it from Hinata but now that Sakura is taking her time with the results, his nervousness is up in the hospital roof and Hinata can feel it.

"Naruto-kun will you please sit down? You're making me nervous just by looking at you," Hinata put her arms out for Naruto to take and he did, he sat down beside her in the bed this time. A while ago Hinata tried to stand up but her husband insisted that she only lay down.

"Why are you even so nervous?" She asks

"I…I don't know, what if ther-,"

There was a knock on the door which cut Naruto off from what he was about to say. As the door opens, Sakura went in, then comes Ino, then Shizune, then Tsunade. The couple looked at them confused, they were only waiting for Sakura, they didn't expect for the major Doctors in the hospital to come in the room altogether. This just made Naruto more nervous.

"S-Sakura-chan? And Ino-chan?" Hinata looks at her friends and notices that their eyes and nose are somewhat red.

"Tsunade-baachan, why are you here?" Naruto ask the Fifth Hokage, he knew something was up when he saw Shizune was smiling. He doesn't want to get his hopes up.

"Ehem!" Tsunade got ready to talk, everybody looking at her to hear what she's about to say.

"Congratulations. You're pregnant," Tsunade said while looking at Naruto in the eyes, with the gentlest smile on her face, then to Hinata, which look liked she didn't hear her by the look in her face, shocked.

Sakura and Ino's hand are in their mouth trying to stifle their sobs and Shizune hugged the two girls, Naruto still looking at Tsunade, with tears forming in his eyes, the tightening of Hinata's hands in his own made him look at his wife.

Hinata is already crying, Naruto's tears followed. Naruto held her hand with equal tightness. Her other hand in her mouth trying her best not to ugly cry. Naruto held her other hand with his two hands. Pregnant. A child. A family.

Those are the words repeating on Naruto's head. A family. He can't believe it. He moved closer to his wife, Hinata's other hand reaching for Naruto's cheeks, she wiped his tears.

"Thank you," Naruto whispered to his wife, it was all that he could say, two words that could sum up all the feelings he has for her, he feels only her presence. The other people in the room became non-existent to Naruto, it was just them. His hands suddenly reached for her stomach which is relatively flat still. Hinata smiled at him, the brightest smile, the warmest smile.

"I guess that's why I like cinnamon rolls than usual," Hinata stated while still holding his cheeks. Naruto can't help it, he laughed as he hugged her, he feels all emotions at once, all the joy in the world in his arms. A family to cherish.

"I told you, you have a kid," Naruto heard an inner voice, Kurama.

"Thank you Kurama,"

"Tsk, you wouldn't listen to me," Kurama said but he also felt the joy radiating from the couple, he gave in and gave Naruto a small smile, a very tiny smile. He can't believe a Biju like him smiling out of joy.

A family to protect.
