OWL III:
Once woken up by his rude-ass loud alarm, he slammed down on it. Not really hesitating to put a bit of strength into it. He sat up in his bed.
Yes, his bed. he put all of the necessary stuff together, like his coffee machine, closet, bed and entertainment controllers, which was just plugging a few things together.
Checking his phone, he smiled.
'Hey sir! Just had my first shower in a while! definitely going to take full use of this coupon.'
'Hey Jin! Glad to hear you're enjoying yourself! I'll drop by for breakfast (if you haven't had any yet, I know the diner opens at 9 though.)'
He replied. Stepping out of bed he started to stretch, making sure to feel a bit of strain. "ATLAS, play 'mornin' playlist, please."
"Playing, Mornin'."
"Thank you."
"Anytime sir."
Shuffling to his shower he looked in the mirror and cringed a bit, "Absolute ratnest." Ignoring the hair, he just put it together with a headband, it'll do for some time. Brushing his teeth, washing his face and doing his skin care routine, because it is absolutely necessary.
The adult looked down into his closet, not sure which pair of trunks. He decided to wear his favourite grey short shorts. You know, give your thighs space to breathe. Pulling on two arms sleeves and a t-shirt, saying 'Sweater'. He stepped out and went downstairs.
The music still in his ears, he hummed the familiar tune. He only changes the playlist until he knows ⅓ of the songs by heart. Preparing his coffee grounds and placing a kettle on top of his stove. He took a nutritious bar, which can't be full until you're eating breakfast with Jin.
Speaking of Jin, he sent another text.
'I'll be in the diner at 09.15!'
He looked at his clock, 08.15. A full hour, enough time to drink his coffee and run all the way there.
A woman sat on her balcony, drinking her morning tea and eating her coffee. A cat hopped on her lap, "Goodmorning." She hummed.
The cat meowed.
"Don't be grumpy," She said and took a sip, looking out onto the streets of Japan. Her eyebrow raised when a very fucking well built man jogged by.
Definitely enjoying her morning. Her cat meowed, "Yeah, we both saw that, didn't we." She laughed, "Wouldn't mind that piece of meat in my bed."
When Izuku arrived at the diner, he was partially drained in his sweat. He had to sprint for the last bit, just because his mind trailed back to zombies.
Of course it had to be fucking zombies. Well, it was extra motivation. He couldn't help but think about it once again, imagine running through an empty hallway with things that want to eat your flesh and brains.
Once he entered the old fashioned place a ring went off. He nodded at the workers there and looked for the boy. Jin was busy tapping away on his phone.
Izuku's phone buzzed, that must be why.
He tapped the table as he sat down across from the teen, gaining his attention. "Hey Jin! How did you sleep last night?"
"Sir! I've slept so good!" nod, "My back stiff as fuck but at least I don't smell no more!"
He let out a laugh, "Good to hear Jin. What do you want to order?" He asked, holding a menu in his hand.
"Can I have the american breakfast with pancakes?" He asked sheepishly, not wanting to let a person he now considers as a friend, pay for him.
"Right on it!"
Izuku stood up and walked to the worker, ordering. Adding another coffee to his list and an orange juice for Jin. He looks like an orange juice guy.
After making himself comfortable he just sat across Jin once again. "I know you still consider me a stranger." When Jin opened his mouth to argue, he gave him a look that said, 'don't talk while I'm talking young man'. "But I'd like for you to receive help. By me or someone else. A kid shouldn't have to fend for themselves out on the streets." Izuku rubbed the back of his neck and smiled, "It doesn't help my caffeinated heart that you won't be protected."
Jin looked at the man, hope in his eyes. He was in a raging conversation with the voice inside of him, but came to a conclusion together. "You've already done much for me, sir…" He trailed off but continued, "I'd rather get to know you more before receiving help. The people I had asked for, just didn't understand. "
A concerned look appeared on Izuku's face, 'The people who you asked help from? Didn't understand? In what way? Didn't they get him out of the house? Were they bribed? How did they help? Did they even help?'
"I understand." He nodded eventually, "But I'd rather have you eat dinner at my house once a week. So I can check up on you regularly." He said, keeping his respectable distance.
"I would appreciate that sir."
A small smile played on Izuku's face. It went even bigger once two plates were placed on the table, "Thank you." He'll make sure to tip the waiter, even though it isn't custom in Japan. It was in the Old Fashioned Diner.
As he returned home, he quickly turned on a timer for when he has to shower and wear his clothes.
He looked out the window and looked at the empty home Melissa will live in. He's seriously curious about the person who got Melissa hooked and upped from I-island to Japan. That person must mean a lot, but still. They haven't gotten the cousin approval.
Shrugging away his thoughts, he just resorted to unpacking everything and finishing his interior.
Izuku blinked a few times as he fished the buzzing phone out of his pocket. Alarm went off, and he read it, 'Bar? Yes. Open Bar? Even better, get dressed.' he snapped his fingers, "Right." He set the box down and went up to his room. Walking through the now decorated room, he shed his clothes and jumped in the shower.
He sighed once the warm water hit his chest.
He smiled as he threw on his motorcycle jacket, looking in the mirror he posed and fist bumped himself in the reflection. He was wearing his custom blue converse with iron soles, who knows when a villain goes ahead and wrecks everyone's evening, white socks, black trousers, a white shirt underneath the same coloured blue sweater. He also wore his glasses, which is a rare occasion.
Walking out into the garage where his vehicles stood parked, well except the project car. That stood in the garden on concrete under an extended part of the garage's roof. He decided to not ride his motorcycle but his drift car. It could stay parked and protected. Which sounds better than having your motorcycle picked up by some strength-based quirk. The motorcycle jacket was just a piece of clothing he could wear with fighting villains.
He entered the car and wiggled his keys, seeing the miniature tokyo sign he took the key attached and put it in the engine. Hearing the car rev up, he pressed his new garage button that opened the door.
After it slowly opened up, he used a GPS app to reach the bar. He was a bit late due to checking over his paperwork and texting with Jin, who appears to be a vintage meme collector now. They send some to one another. But yeah, he just kept his eyes on the road.
Once he drove into the parking lot once again, he noticed the Mustang. "So jealous." He said under his breath, in this age, they only keep working on making the cars more streamlined. But personally for him, that just sucks out the life of vintage cars.
He quickly double checked if his black surgical mask was on. He walked out and locked his car. Nezu said that they knew to keep his identity a secret until it was revealed. He liked that about the chimera, and thought of everything.
Except for the entrance, was he just supposed to walk in and introduce himself? Or? "Howdy partner!" A voice said.
"Snipe?" He asked as he looked to the left.
"Yes sir!" The man said excitedly, "Everyone is here already, except for a few. But they're coming later. Come on in and I'll introduce you to everyone."
"You're my lifesaver." Izuku said and followed the man inside.
The scenery was very unique. A blonde hero was singing his heart out, his ears kind of hurt due to the volume but the voice is fine. A man dressed in black sat at a table sucking on fruit pouches? A man with grey-white hair sat next to him, drinking his beer and talking to said man.
At the bar, a woman sat there dressed and building up a tray full of shots, a mischievous smile on her face. There also stood a man next to the karaoke machine, looking quite impatient.
The rectangular built man stood next to the ginger haired man.
Snipe took his mask off and Izuku quickly followed. The cowboy themed man whistled loudly. Suddenly the music got cut and heads turned to the two.
"Everyone this is-" Snipe looked at him and leaned over, "I actually don't know your real name, unless you want to be introduced as Owl."
He smiled at the man and nodded. He looked over at the curious faces, "My name is Izuku Tsukauchi, I don't mind what you call me. My pro hero name is Owl!" He said excitedly.
"So..Owl?" Silence rang out as the blonde talked, "You're just very smart?"
Izuku shrugged casually, "It was actually based off of a manga I read as a kid. But, I could tie in chess with Nezu, if that measures my intelligence."
"Holy shit!" The man shouted in english.
Izuku chuckled and Snipe continued, "So yeah! He could potentially work here, if he accepts Nezu's offer." Some of the staff decided to sit at the big round table now.
"Hate to say this, but uh. Drop ya' phone in the bag." Snipe said as he held out a small bag. "Mandatory, since some folks keep their identity hidden. You as well." Izuku dropped his phone in the bag.
"I understand, some parties in the USA have these rules as well." He cracked a smile. A hand fell on his shoulder.
"You should take a shot to get started," A voice said, genuine but at the same time there was a hint of something he can't put in words. A hand in front of him.
His eyes followed the hand to the rest of her body, she happened to reach just right under his chin. The woman had a rich amount of purple hair cascading from down her shoulders. After looking at her shaped body he accepted the shot. "Got to start good right?" He hummed and threw it back in one time.
The dress she was wearing was very nice. especially the split that goes halfway to her thighs.
"Jack Daniels?" He asked.
The woman's eyes widened in excitement, "What year?"
"The year their taste testers say it is ready." Izuku said and smirked, "I'm no amateur."
"I see." The woman purred. "I'll be back with more."
"Can't wait."
He felt a nudge, the blonde person had poked him. "Yes?"
"I hope you know that you're totally fucked, and she'll feed you drunk."
Izuku laughed, "Open bar, nothing or everything."
"I like the way you think, Hizashi Yamada. Or Present Mic. Choose how you address me." The man said, his hair going down his shoulders. "Come on and sit at the table, Nem will share the shots instead of feeding them all to you."
Izuku laughed slightly, "Sharing is caring right?"
"Sure is man." They all sat at the table and the concrete man looked at him, "So, Tsukauchi-san, you're ranked second. How come you're in a bar with U.A. Teachers."
Izuku shrugged, "My dad and Nezu are friends? I think they know each other. They most likely put together my study plan as a kid." He took a sip of the beer placed in front of him, "Nezu offered me a teaching position because of my papers and degrees."
"Degrees as in multiple?" Snipe asked.
Izuku then held up five fingers, "Quirk studies," he put one down, "Chemistry." Another one down, and so on. "Support items, engineering, criminology. I don't know if it counts but I also have an EMT diploma."
"No wonder you're number three." The man now known as pro her Cementoss said. "But still, why teach?"
The ginger grumbled, "One more degree and I'm out of a job."
"Why not." Izuku shrugged again, he seemed to be doing a lot of that today. "The time I put into researching and helping the police is equal to the time I do patrols during the night. I am considering it a lot. Teaching the new generation is important."
"He's good and understands." the tired man said and nodded at him, "Aizawa Shouta, homeroom teacher of 1-A."
He nodded back at the man, "You're Eraserhead right?"
"Yes."
"Since a quirk like yours got recorded I trained more hand to hand. Not invincible if you don't have your achilles curse anymore right?" He said excited.
"He's good." Aizawa repeated, "We'll have to train together once. Might see each other on patrols."
The women from before walked back from the bar, with a trey. It was filled with shots, more than before. "Drink up new guy!"
"How about this, "He put his elbows on the table and looked at her, "For every drink I drink, you drink as well. Vice versa."
"Alcoholics." Aizawa murmured.
"You got yourself a deal, pretty boy." The woman said and leaned over.
"Well, I'll need your name actually. I need someone to blame if i Black out." He said and took a pen from his pocket, he folded his shirt and sweater up to his elbows.
She took the pen and started writing, 'Nemuri Kayama +81 xxx xxx xxx.'
Izuku accepted the pen again and took a shot glass, "Well, bottoms up." He grinned and downed it in one go.
"Bottoms up." Kayama said and laughed. "You're my new drinking buddy."
He cheered, "Drinking buddies!"
"I'll be surprised if their livers will work tomorrow." Hizashi whispered to Aizawa. The door opened once again and two people walked through. Izuku turned to look at them but gasped and stood up. Pointing at the two.
"Melissa. No way!" He gasped.
The two re-acted the vintage meme they did all the time as kids, he just loved spiderman as a kid. But this time, it was quite serious. "Izuku?" She looked at the person next to her, "Did you know about this?"
The person with the short cropped dark hair just held their hands up in defence, "I did not know."
Izuku's face then split into a grin, "So, this is the person you moved for?" He asked, teasingly.
A red Melissa just sat down next to Kayama who was sitting to the right of him. "I need a shot for this." She said and reached over to take one.
The person next to her just waved at their colleagues, "Hello everyone, this is my girlfriend Melissa Shield. And the cousin who she wanted to hold off on introducing me to." they said and pointed at Izuku. Who was just gaping at her.
"You're late 13!" Hizashi whined, "You didn't get to see these two flirting!" He said and pointed at Izuku and Kayama.
"Flirting?" He asked and felt a tap on the table, looking up at Kayama taking a shot. "We're going fast huh?" He asked and grabbed another shot. He honestly doesn't count that as flirting, he needs someone to blame in the morning.
"Obviously." She grinned.
Hizashi fell back onto Aizawa, "Next thing you know, they might drag you into their drinking game!"
Aizawa grumbled as he pushed his "friend" off, "They just want an excuse to drink."
"Correct, good sir!" Nemuri said and took another one. Izuku then took one shot as well, "At this point it's not me taking the lead but her." He turned to Thirteen, "Why did Melissa hold me off from meeting you?"
They just shrugged, "I have no clue."
"I'm here too, you know you can ask me." Melissa complained, Izuku took a sip of beer, "I've been annoying you all week to tell me. You would never."
She nodded at that, "True."
"Oh everyone! This is my fellow scientist. Mel, should I take that teaching position?"
"You've always talked about it as kids. I don't see why not."
"All right," He turned to Nemuri, "I'm your new colleague."
She squealed and grabbed two shots in front of them, "To celebrate!" They linked their arms and drank the shot.
With no cringing they continued to talk with their new friends. Izuku was very interested in Aizawa's quirk. Literally, how can you turn off someone's quirk with your eyes?
Izuku reached into his pocket and pulled out a knife, "Aizawa, can you erase my quirk for a second?"
Aizawa frowned at the confused man, especially with the knife. But then shrugged, the number three hero must know what they're doing right?
Izuku then dragged his knife over an unimportant part of his arm, his mouth dropped as blood leaked from the wound. "All right, thank you." he said, once Aizawa blinked Izuku held up his arm and the wound slowly started to close up on itself.
"Told you Melissa! It's connected to my quirk, the organs are real tho. My skin durability is connected"
"Organs?" Snipe asked, a bit disturbed by the sudden performance.
"Oh yeah! I have 4 special ones due to my quirk. But I don't think it's a good idea to do that here." he said and held up a peace sign. He was tipsy? Halfway drunk? Well either way, he is starting to overshare.
Kayama leaned back towards Present Mic and whispered, "That was the hot stranger I saw jogging this morning!"
Mic gasped, "No way! He is hot."
"What do you think my 'hot factor' is on the ground?"
"Yes." Aizawa interrupted, "Now stop whispering or move. Just stop leaning over me." The man grumbled.
He reached over and took another shot, "Kayama-san! Take one." He leaned back in his chair slightly and called on Melissa.
Melissa, who was under Thirteen's shoulder, also leaned back. "Yes."
"Who's bringing you home?"
She looked back at 13 and at him, "They're drinking so I think Makoto will have to do it."
"I have her on speed dial." He nodded back at her. "If not I'll sleep in the car! I think I have one of those inflatable beds."
"Great for se-" Kayama said but was quickly hushed by Hizashi shouting, "Karaoke!" Who quickly stood up and dragged his friend with him. "What are we singing today?" He asked Nemuri on the microphone.
She just licked her lips as her hero persona came alive, "Oh you'll see~" She said and winked at her friend. She strutted to the machine and one of the oldest song that Izuku knew out of his heart started playing.
It was from Paul Anka, his face distorted into confusion. Was it his or from that one other artist- "Freak! Like me." She dropped down to the ground into a squat.
Definitely the other, He honestly felt allured by her voice, he tried not to blink. Scared that he'll miss something, he cheered as she crawled over an empty chair, "Come get a freak!" she sang.
And oh boy, was he jealous of that chair.
Once the song neared its end, he took a shot and walked up to the karaoke machine. Looking in the shed behind he found the thing he always plays at a party. The electric guitar.
"Mel! Look what we got here!" He slurred and held up a matte blue guitar. The crowd of teachers cheered, he quickly plugged everything in and played the version he wanted.
Sex on fire started playing with the drums, as Izuku stood at the microphone. "Lay where you're laying. Don't make a sound." He sang. Rattling through the chords and playing one of the best solos he managed to do drunk. He stood still at the microphone, sweating a bit.
Taking off his sweater, he heard his new friend shout, "Strip! Strip! Strip!" Midnight chanted. At some point Hizashi joined in too. With a red face Izuku rubbed the back of his neck, shaking his head slightly.
"I'm afraid Aizawa-san would kill me." He said and heard a soft "Damn right I would." As he looked at the blonde. Izuku isn't blind all the time, he notices the small affectionate ways Mic and Eraser communicate.
"One last song!" Vlad King said and banged the table.
"He's a passive aggressive drunk." Thirteen whispered to Melissa, who just giggled and nodded.
Izuku chuckled and searched for the next song. Surely, he could do it without the drums, but honestly. You cannot play this song without it. He slowly started playing the intro and Melissa immediately recognized it, "Oh no." She said and cuddled closer to Thirteen's side, "He's going to be a hooker."
Taking a quick shot, hoping that the looper works correctly. It did, so he sent a nod to Kayama who quickly gulped one down as well. He turned back to the microphone and began to sing with a hoarse tone, "I'm flyin'." You know, shots really make your voice sound hoarse, but without that he also had a rough voice.
"I'm flyin' high like a bird."
"Oh god, if I had my phone on me. This man would go viral without people knowing he is Owl." Hizashi said to Aizawa. Who just hummed and took a shot.
"They know him as Izuku." Melissa quipped in, "He had a fanbase at 16, they called themselves the greenheads."
Hizashi let out a laugh, "Brilliant!"
Aizawa then shot a look at his friend and leaned to Hizashi who said, "Looks like Nem is really into it."
"You think?" Shouta asked.
"Oh definitely." The blonde laughed softly. Nemuri was in his seat taking a shot, she then slowly licked her lips. Whilst her legs were squeezed close.
Melissa just went back to cuddling into Thirteen's side.
"-And love is a bitch." He said as he leaned into the mic, sending a wink at the crowd. If he is being honest, he had learned to persuade the crowd from Captain Celebrity. The guitar was just a bonus he got from his free time.
As he finished the solo he took the guitar band off and walked back to the table with a dope smile on his face. "I haven't played in a while." He shrugged and looked at his chair, "Excuse me, I'm sitting there." He teased.
Midnight handed him a beer and clinged it, "Not anymore." She grinned and chugged it down.
"What's up with the chugging?" Snipe asked quietly as Tsukauchi copied Kayama.
"Honestly, I would not be able to answer that." Melissa replied as she looked at her cousin, "I'm going to have to drag him home eventually." She shrugged.
"So how was U.A. like as a kid?" The cousin questioned, haven taken a seat on the ground, right next to Kayama. "I always imagined it like some spy movie."
Hizashi shot Nemuri a side eye when Izuku had plopped down on the ground and smirked when she got a pouting expression on her face. He signed Aizawa, 'Is she down bad somehow?'
Aizawa just looked at the two, who began talking about their heroics course. 'Maybe, I don't know?'
They shrugged and focussed their attention back at the group, who were answering questions about their quirks.
Izuku was having an absolute field day with the new information he was receiving. They should be glad that he doesn't do any notebooks anymore, imagine what would happen if it fell into a villain's hand.
He tapped Kayama's thigh, "Can you give me a shot, please."
"Right on it!" She said happily.
He happily received the drink and looked at Kayama who had one in her hand as well. He grinned, "I'll have to tell L about my new drinking buddy!" He said excitedly to Melissa.
"L wouldn't appreciate you moving on that quickly." Melissa teased, "Last thing I heard is that she made some progress with Ito. Damn girl is oblivious to her obvious flirting."
Izuku turned and leaned his head back, against Midnight's thigh, "I tried to make it clear to her, but she won't budge. I had to be painfully secretive about L!" The two shared a look and burst out laughing.
The night continued.
With a lot of random shenanigans.

Bonus:
Izuku looked up from the ground and to Melissa, "Mel.." He started.
She looked down at her cousin. "Yea, 'Zuku?"
"I think that I indirectly just adopted a kid." He said casually with a confused look on his face.
Melissa just looked down at him, and back up at her partner, who had a matching confused look on their face. "Mind repeating that?"
"I think I might've indirectly adopted a kid."
"Now slowly."
"I think, "pause, "I indirectly." Melissa nodded to his pace, "adopted" nod, "A kid."
In the meanwhile, Kayama and Yamada were signing to each other, 'A kid is just like a cat right?' She signed.
Yamada just looked at her with wide eyes, 'Kinda? Not sure. Never had a kid. Why are you asking?'
'Cause this man is about a few centimeters from my literal pu-'
Yamada began waving his hands, "She's down bad." He said and leaned against Aizawa, who just hummed.
Melissa sighed, knowing her cousin was being dead serious about the kid, "Where did you find this kid?"
He contently sipped on a fruit pouch he got from Aizawa, after asking for it for about 5 minutes. "Under a bridge."
"What were you doing under a bridge!" Melissa said exparated.
"Trying to find my way home after a walk."
"Right." She sighed, "Next thing you know another kid shows up on his porch." She murmured.
'Think I can handle more kids?' Midnight said whilst listening to their conversation.
"I give up." Yamada exclaimed.
