Naruto and Kingdom Hearts belong to their respective owners.

One thing I forgot to mention is that Naruto can change into Xehanort's different forms. When in these forms, his voice changes to match the form. For Ansem, it is his voice from the first Kingdom Hearts and for Terra-Xehanort, it is Terra's voice.

Chapter 6: Chunin Exams part 2

Naruto and Zabuza walk into a large room and stand with the other Jonin as they await their teams to enter. Eventually, all the teams walk into the room and stand in front of the Jonin.

Minato clears his throat, "Congratulations, all of you."

"You've all worked hard and made it through the first two tasks with flying colors."

He adopts a serious look, "Normally we would start the third test right away and then have the second round in a months' time."

"However, we've decided to hold off on the third round for now." "So, you will have a month to prepare for the third exam."

He smirks, "At which time, the rest of the Kages will be present to see how you've improved."

Minato dismisses everyone, who split off in different directions.

Zabuza and Naruto stand in front of their teams.

Zabuza grunts, "Alright brats, we've got a month to make you better."

"That doesn't give us a lot of time, but we'll have to make due."

Naruto nods, "You should know that we're not going to go easy on you."

"We're going to put you through hell."

They all start to sweat, when they are interrupted by a member of the ANBU.

"Forgive me for the interruption." "Lord Hokage wishes to speak with Xehanort."

Naruto frowns, "Can I ask why?"

The ANBU frowns, "I don't know."

"I'm just following orders."

Naruto sighs, "Get started without me."

"I'll be right back."

The ANBU leads Naruto to the council chamber where he finds everyone waiting for him. He gives a bored look as he takes in the sight of the Shinobi Council and, to his inner outrage, the Civilian Council.

Minato smiles, "Thank you for coming."

Naruto gives him an emotionless look, "Apologies for the interruption, but what are they doing here?"

One of the civilians turns his nose up at Naruto, "We're here because we're important to this village."

Everyone deadpans at them, 'Yeah right.'

Minato rolls his eyes, "I tried to get rid of them."

"But they've got the support of one of the Daimyo's advisors."

One of the civilians smirks, "That's because he realizes our worth."

Naruto scoffs, "Yeah, right."

Minato shakes his head, "Anyway, I've asked you here for a specific reason."

Naruto narrows his eyes, "If you're thinking of asking me to stay then save it."

Kushina frowns, "I know you're with Kiri but…"

Naruto holds up his hand, "Let's make one thing perfectly clear."

"I have no loyalty to Kiri; I'm only acting as a Jonin sensei as a favor to Mei."

His eyes glow, "But make no mistake…"

"I'm not a shinobi, and I never will be."

Hiashi frowns, "Do you have something against shinobi?"

Naruto hums, "Tell me, do you know what the word shinobi means?"

"What the word ninja represents?"

The Shinobi all turn to each other with confused looks.

Tsunade turns to him, "What do you mean?"

Naruto smirks, "To the outside world, the word ninja refers to an honor less killer that has sold their soul and kills for money and pleasure."

This causes shocked looks to spread throughout the shinobi council.

Inoichi frowns, "That is wrong."

Shibi nods, "That is illogical."

Naruto raises an eyebrow, "Oh really?"

"Let me ask you something Minato." "You killed over twice the amount of people than Zabuza during the Third Shinobi World War."

Minato nods, "Yes."

Naruto frowns, "You claim that you did it for your village and that it was war."

"But that's bullshit."

Kushina scowls, "What are you trying to say?"

Naruto smirks, "Deep down in your heart you enjoyed killing those men, didn't you?"

Minato goes quiet as everyone turns to him with a concerned look.

Naruto chuckles, "I'll take your silence as a yes."

Jiraiya grits his teeth, "Get to your point."

Naruto's eyes glow, "I'm merely trying to inform you of how you are perceived by the outside world."

He lifts his finger, "In fact, there is a kill order for all of you."

"Any shinobi that leaves the Elemental Nations is to be killed on sight."

Once again, everyone has shocked looks.

Naruto frowns, "So you see, I have no desire to become a shinobi or join this village."

He turns and walks out of the room, leaving a flabbergasted audience."

Naruto walks down the hall, 'I'm sorry father, but I can't stay.'

'I don't plan of being around when this is over.'

"Wait a moment."

He turns to see Kushina walking up to him, "Please, just wait."

She gives him a concerned look, "I'm going to force you to do something you don't want to do."

"But won't you consider coming here?" "You would be among family."

Naruto sighs, "You don't understand."

"I don't think you ever will."

She frowns, "What don't I understand?"

Naruto frowns, "I'm not an Uzumaki."

"Just because I might have the blood of one, it doesn't mean that I am one." "I have no ties to the clan and family just isn't a priority for me."

Kushina's eyes widen, "You can't mean that."

Naruto clicks his tongue, "As I said, you just don't understand."

He turns and walks away, 'As much as I hate to admit it.'

'This is getting harder.'

He exits the building and goes quiet, 'Damnit, what am I going to do?'

He snaps his finger and summons a shadow clone, "Go meet up with the others, there's something I have to do."

The clone nods and heads off in the direction of the teams, while Naruto heads in a different direction.

Kankuro sighs as he flips through some papers in his hotel room.

"Working hard?"

His eyes widen and he whips around to find Naruto leaning against the wall.

"How did you get in here!?"

Naruto rolls his eyes, "Calm yourself Kankuro."

"If I wanted to kill you, I already would have."

Kankuro frowns, "You didn't answer my question."

Naruto smirks, "Tell me something Kankuro."

"How is Gaara these days?"

Kankuro's eyes widen, "Who are you!?"

Naruto frowns and changes his form to his original one, and then turns back his current one.

Kankuro's eyes widen in shock, "Naruto!?"

Naruto shrugs, "More or less."

Kankuro swallows, "I thought you were dead."

Naruto sits down on the sofa, "I was dead, that mush is true."

Kankuro sits down across from him, "I don't understand."

Naruto hums, "My soul couldn't pass on to the afterlife."

"Instead, I wound up being reborn in another world."

Kankuro's jaw drops, "Holy crap really!?"

Naruto nods, "I was given the name Xehanort."

Kankuro nods, "I see, so that explains the unusual name."

He frowns, "But wait, how did you get back here?"

Naruto grunts, "I was actually moments away from death again."

"Kami approached me and sent me back here to deal with the Akatsuki and Orochimaru."

Kankuro nods, "You know about them."

Naruto nods, "As long as they exist, Gaara is in danger."

"And not just him, but my siblings and everyone else like them."

Kankuro nods, "That's true."

"We need a plan."

Naruto hums, "I've been thinking of such a thing."

His eyes glow, "Remember Kankuro, no one but Gaara and Temari can know about me."

Kankuro nods, "I understand."

"You don't have to worry about me."

Naruto smiles, "I know."

"I've missed you Kankuro."

Kankuro smiles, "You too kid."

Naruto says his farewells to Kankuro and heads off in a different direction.

Hiruzen meditates in his clan compound.

He opens his eyes, "I know you're there."

Naruto walks out of the shadows, "You always could tell when I was near."

Hirzuen smiles, "I may be old, but I'm not weak and frail."

Naruto walks over and sits down in front of him, "Hello grandpa."

Hirzuen smiles, "It's good to see you again…Naruto."

Naruto swallows, "How long did you know it was me?"

Hiruzen chuckles, "I knew it was you the moment I saw."

"You forget, I've known you your entire life."

Naruto laughs, "Yes; that is true."

Hiruzen frowns, "You've changed Naruto."

"And not entirely for the better."

Naruto nods, "You're right, I'm not the same boy you helped raise."

"I've done many terrible things."

Hiruzen nods, "I suspected as much."

Naruto changes into his Master Xehanort form, "I've been through a lot."

Hiruzen's eyes widen, "It's been longer for you than it has for me."

Naruto nods, "I've seen so much, both beautiful and terrible."

Hiruzen hums, "How old are you?"

Naruto shrugs, "Combining my age from when I died the first time, to how old I was when I died the second time."

"I'm over 100 years old."

Hiruzen grimaces, "You've lived even longer than me."

"You must be tired."

Naruto nods, "I am."

Hiruzen smiles, "You don't plan to stay when your work is done."

Naruto shakes his head, "I've had my fill of fighting."

"All I want is to rest."

Hiruzen nods his head in understanding, "I know all too well."

"That's why I chose to retire and spend the rest of my life in peace."

He smiles, "Do what you have to."

"Settle your affairs and finish your journey."

Naruto changes back to his normal form and bows his head, "I will."

"Goodbye grandfather."

Naruto stands up and turns to leave.

"Naruto."

He turns and looks over his shoulder at Hiruzen.

Hiruzen frowns, "How many people did you kill?"

Naruto sighs, "I'm responsible for more deaths than Minato and Zabuza combined."

Hiruzen narrows his eyes, "And do you feel remorse for those deaths?"

Naruto shakes his head, "No."

He turns and walks out of the building.

Hiruzen sighs, "So not even you have been spared from this curse."

Naruto returns to his team. A month passes as Naruto drills his team into the ground in preparation for the third event. As the month passes, Naruto struggles to not get attached to his team.

Finally, a month passes and Naruto, Zabuza and their teams watch the village gate in preparation for Mei's arrival.

The first carriage to arrive is from Iwa. The doors to the carriage open and out steps Onoki; the Third Tsuchikage.

Zabuza hums, "The old fence sitter himself."

Naruto nods, "The longest reigning Kage in history."

Onoki is not alone; as two large men exit the carriage with him.

Naruto frowns, 'Han and Roshi.'

'Roshi is the Jinchuriki of the Four-Tails and Han is the Jinchuriki of the Five-Tails.'

"Sup old man!"

Kurotsuchi smirks at her grandfather.

Onoki gains a tick mark, "Who are you calling old!?"

"Ah, my back!"

The next carriage is from Kumo. A; the fourth Raikage steps out of the carriage.

Zabuza smirks, "There he is, the man with the Iron Claw."

Naruto nods, "Minato's rival."

With A is his secretary, Mabui.

Killer B shows up, "Yo, what's up big bro?"

A scowls at him, "Don't even think about rapping!"

He gives him the Iron Claw, "Ow, take it easy bro!"

Yugito sighs, "Idiot…"

The next carriage is from Suna.

Naruto sighs, "Here he is."

Zabuza eyes him, "He's a friend of yours, right?"

Naruto nods, "More like a brother."

Gaara exits the carriage, followed by Temari and Baki.

Kankuro grins, "Took you long enough."

Temari rolls her eyes, "Nice to see you too."

Gaara hums, "How is your team doing?"

Kankuro smirks, "They're ready for action."

Finally, the carriage from Kiri arrives. Mei steps out of the carriage, accompanied by Haku and Ao.

Karin smiles, "Mei-sama."

Mei smiles, "Karin, it's so good to see you."

Haku latches onto Naruto, "Xehanort-kun."

Naruto grunts, "Hello Haku."

Mei smirks, "I trust you are all ready to fight for Kiri?"

The Genin all bow their head. "Yes, Mei-sama."

"Mei!"

Mei laughs, "Hello Kushina."

Kushina hugs Mei, "It's been way too long."

Kushina waves over the chibis and introduces them to Mei, while Naruto walks over to Gaara. Naruto stops in front of Gaara, who stands straight and looks him in the eyes. This draws attention from everyone else present.

Suddenly, Gaara's sand shield rises and clashes with Naruto's force-field. Sparks fly as the two defenses push to see which will give out first. The clash ends in a draw as the two shields cancel each other out.

Naruto smirks, "You've still got it."

Gaara smiles, "Of course."

Naruto frowns, "I'm sorry it took so long."

Gaara shakes his head, "You don't need to apologize."

"A lot has happened since we last saw each other."

Minato arrives, "Good, you're all here."

A wraps his arm around Minato's shoulder, "Minato."

"Nice to see you old buddy."

Minato grins, "A, welcome to Konoha."

Minato leads everyone to the exam building.

The Kage's and their guards all gather into the Kage boxes, while the Genin all gather in front of their Jonin senseis.

Minato clears his throat, "Let's begin the third phase of the exam."
