I'm sorry, this is a very short one, and mostly filler and dialogue, but there's one word I used repetitively to overly hint at who Ginny's mother is. Yes, Ginny's godly parent is a goddess. Enjoy!
Also, I'm changing the title to Demiwizards. Don't ask, it seems better than the original title. Please follow, favourite, and review. Id love to hear your opinions on the story!
-P.O.V. Ginny-
After delivering the message to Hermione and Ron, I had hoped they were lucky enough to catch the hint of the password. It did seem luck was with me wherever I went. I sat down with some of my Gryffindor friends, but my mind wasn't in the conversation. It was far away, to wherever Harry Potter was. I was kind of worried, but with the luck he's had, he's survived You-Know-Who not once, not twice, but three times. That's lucky if you ask me. And, if it weren't for him, I'd be dead. He arrived at just the right moment. I was lucky to know him. I cursed myself. Why was I so obsessed with luck all of a sudden? I didn't know, but I wasn't sure I wanted to find out. I got back into the conversation, asking "Does anybody know what happened to Harry Potter? I didn't see him at the table at lunch or dinner, and he's not in the common room now." My friends all looked around. "Oh no!" Colin Creevey said, he was always Harry's No.1 fan and I was surprised he didn't notice sooner "Now that I think about it, I haven't seen him go to any of his lessons. I copied his timetable, I know which corridors he normally takes, and he didn't use any of them."
"Well maybe, Colin, he was trying to avoid you. Ginny, he's probably doing something heroic," Demelza Robins gave me a reassuring smile, "Plus, your brother and his girlfriend have gone missing too," She laughed.
"Hermione is not my brother's girlfriend. Although it's quite obvious he has feelings for her. And besides, Demi, they've just gone to see Professor Dumbledore,"
"How do you know?" Demi asked.
"I just told them to see him, aren't you blind?" I replied, laughing. Demi blinked. "Oh yeah. I still wonder though. Do you think this has something to do with Harry Potter disappearing?" she asked.
"I'm not sure. Maybe. I don't know. If I get pulled out, I'll tell you everything, ok?"
"Yeah, Ginny, I want to know what this is about just as much as you do," My brother and Hermione came back, arguing like normal. I took no notice of it. "Really, Hermione! You're just gonna let Dumbledore take her away to this… this… Camp?!" He shouted. Everyone stopped. "Ron, Chiron said it was for her own good! Plus, Harry and I will be there too."
"Yes, but Mione, she's only 12."
"By that age you were what? Sneaking into girl's bathrooms and into forests. And now you're saying we can't let her learn how to defend herself."
"I'm not saying that-"
"Yes you are, Ronald. How about we let Ginny have a say!" Me? What had I got to do with anything? "Ginny, you, Harry and I have been told to go to a special Camp for people who are half-god. It seems you are half-god and so am I so we're going to go to this camp. Ron," she looked at him disgustedly, "believes you shouldn't go. I think the decision is up to you,"
"I don't know. Can I talk with Demi and Collin first?"
"Sure, Ginny," Hermione smiled. I went and sat down.
"We heard everything."
"You're not going to go?"
"I think she is, Collin,"
"Guys, I'm not sure, whether or not I'm going. I want you guys to help my decision."
"I want to go; Harry will be there!" Collin whined.
"Oh, shut up, Collin, you can't go," Demi addressed me, "We will stand by you. Hey, at least we know where Harry's gone now, right?"
"Right." I agreed, "It's kind of lucky that I get this."
"Because Harry's there?" Demi asked teasingly.
"No! Because it's probably a place where I can learn magic," I replied, not at all convinced the answer I'd given was the right one.
"So you're going?" Collin asked.
"Yeah, I'm going." I wasn't sure, but with the knowledge my friends would be behind me no matter what I was convinced.
"Sweet! Write to me and Collin,"
"Collin and I,"
"What?"
"That's the correct grammar. Bye, guys."
"Bye, then," Demi waved me goodbye.
"Bye, Ginny!"
"Bye Demi. Bye Collin."
During the walk to Dumbledore's I was quiet for the most part. I was nervous, but excited. Nervicited, Fred and George said. I was convinced it was a made-up word, but they said 'Look in any muggle dictionary there. You'll find it, Ginny' and then walked away laughing so there was clearly no such word. When we got in there was a centaur because, hey, that's just my luck. "Girls, please follow after I have given the all clear," the centaur said, "We have never tried travel to Camp Half-Blood before through floo-powder. If this doesn't work, we'll use the other method." What other method? I wondered. He put the floo-powder into the flames and said: "Camp Half-Blood, Long Island Sound, America." And with a whoosh, he was gone. A few minutes later, (we were still in the office, waiting for the 'all clear') a rainbow appeared. I stared at it, transfixed with the beauty. I didn't understand why people didn't like them. Sure, they mean rain, but they look beautiful. Just something to look at though, nothing more. The centaur's face appeared in the rainbow. "It's safe to come through now. Remember say 'Camp Half-Blood, Long Island Sound, America'" again with that name. Camp Half-Blood. I was a pureblood, not that it mattered, but then why was I there? And Hermione was muggle-born. Nothing made sense anymore! Rainbows with faces, a Camp for Half-Blood purebloods and muggle-borns. For people who were half-god. I was lucky I didn't go insane. We stepped in. Followed his instructions, but all was on my mind was that word.
Lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky.
