P.O.V. Harry
I tried to train, but my mind kept rolling over Mallory's words. It was Kronos who had caused so much suffering. Also, Sirius was innocent, so I needed to find him before the ministry did. I tried to sort out my thoughts as I lashed out at one of the training dummies with a sword I had borrowed from the armoury. I was quickly joined by Hermione, who was practising defence spells on her dummy. "Really, Hermione? Spells? At east tell me you've learnt how to use something else?" I laughed. Hermione gave me a glare. "Harry, I bet you don't know how to use Impedimenta, or the trip jinx, but I do, as I'm focusing on my Defence, along with potions and charms, as well as ancient runes. Merlin, I'm going to be so unprepared for end of year exams."
"Hermione, you'll do fine. Let's have a break for a bit." I said, giving her a smile, "How're you settling in?"
"Good... Except the other Hermes campers keep trying to scare Ginny and I with stories of an old camper" she replied with a scowl.
"And? What are these stories?"
"That a camper turned, recruiting campers to join the dark. He felt neglected, and that's why, but I only found that out because Percy told me more when I went digging. They also left out the fact he sacrificed himself and turned the tide of their war. They warned Ginny and I, and I think we got the message about what we were going to have done to us if we ever betrayed camp."
"Sheesh. Harsh."
"You can talk, you've been through worse. We've been through worse." Hermione laughed, "How's the 'Boy Who Lived, Son of Zeus' settling in?"
"Don't call me that Hermione," I told her, scowling when she laughed again, "But it's going awfully; I have no roommates, unlike Hogwarts, barely any friends, and a room that stinks as if something had died in there." Thunder rumbled overhead, "Umm sorry dad." I added, hoping it appeased my father.
"Actually Harry, I don't think that's the reason. Maybe it's a celebration or something that you've returned..." she faltered, maybe thinking the same as me: my dad thinks I'm home. Well, it was a possibility. I could see myself coming here every summer. But, as if on cue, thunder rumbled again. Maybe Zeus wanted me to stay, and then I'd have three homes: Hogwarts, the Weasleys, and here. "Hey, Harry-" Hermione started, but she was cut off with a shout.
"There's an owl! With a letter! What's that doing here?"
"Hedwig" I muttered, then louder, "Hermione, I thin it's Hedwig. I'll go get her." And I ran off.
P.O.V. Annabeth
When someone said owl, I couldn't help but think Mom, especially with the fact it had a letter, but when the new kid Harry, came over panting, I wasn't as sure. But when he said "She's mine. Why can't she get in?", I knew it wasn't from her. Not that I wasn't annoyed. I still hadn't forgiven the Goddess of Wisdom for my little vacation away, meeting spiders and Tartarus alike. "She can't get in the border unless we help her. I'll get her for you Harry."
"Thanks Annabelle."
"It's Annabeth" I said with a smile, and I quickly went, out, got the owl, and came back. "She's a beautiful owl. I should know. My mom's sacred animal is the owl"
"Really?" The boy asked with wonder, "What's my dad's?"
"Well, Zeus's is the Eagle, a beautiful bird. But it's got nothing on the owl"
"Must agree there, Annabeth. Well, I've got to go see what this letter says. See ya round?"
"See ya Harry!"
I went back to the cabin. But not mine; Percy's. I'd been studying the books and wondering at just what this kid had done, and what he could still do. Only instead of a desk and 2 books, I found a waiting Percy. "Hey, Wise Girl," he said, giving me a peck on the cheek.
"Hey Seaweed Brain. I thought you were still teaching."
"Nah, I'm busy relishing in the week of freedom we had 'cause of this before Reyna and Frank force us back to Camp Jupiter."
"I would love to join you, but unlike you, I am interested in studying. It's in my blood" to prove my point, I opened a book at random and found it was one of those mythology books I had taken from a mortal bookstore, to see how they thought of us.
"Gods and Goddesses of Ancient Greece, Annabeth? I already thought we knew this stuff." Percy said with a grin. "Oi, I thought you were 'relishing in the freedom', not peering over my shoulder. Naughty Percy." I said with a smirk, "But if you want you can see what the mortals think of us, you're more than grateful to read it."
"Alright then, but I know better. I wrote a book on these guys."
"Yes, but which two demigods helped you with your research?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Me, and me." he proclaimed confidently, but he shrank when he saw my furious face, "Right then, it was you and Nico."
We chatted for the remainder of the evening, failing to get any studying done.

I'd asked Ginny and Hermione to come and join me in opening Ron's letter as they were friends and family. "So when I wrote to him last, I basically told him about being a half-blood, like in demigod terms, I also assumed Hermione would be here but I'm sure that'll be of no concern to Ron. I also said I'd learn what IM-ing was but I haven't yet so maybe I'll ask Chiron later or something."
"Alright then, let's see what my idiot brother has to say," Ginny replied with a snort.
Harry,
Say hi to Ginny and Hermione if they're there. I know you sent this letter before Hermione went, but I think you should have at least waited a day or two for things to unfold a bit, right? Anyway, I remember Mum saying something about Ginny when she was younger, something like how she was a little lucky charm and-
"I'm sorry, I know I can't hear the 'L' word, but saying 'L'-word-y just isn't good, Harry."
"Jeez Ginny, just trying to help"
and how they'd always been so lucky-
"Please don't call me out again Ginny,"
"Wasn't going to," the redhead witch said indifferently.
lucky to have her. I had a hunch that they were hiding something, and now shes at a camp where people who have at least one god parent go to for safety or something, so I knew they were lying. So hey, find out for me, although between. You and me, I always thought Mum treated Dad weirdly around Ginny, and cared for Ginny less. So maybe her mum's actually a goddess? Oh well, who knows, hey?
Say hi to Hermione and Ginny for me.
Ron.
A/N aaand that's a wrap! So I felt the need to address the letter, as it has been hanging in my head for gods know how long, but anyways, what's your opinion on anything that's happened so far? Honestly I'm just praying silently that people still read this. I enjoy writing it though, so even if only 1 person reads it, then I'll be pleased!
