Likes

KOTOR - Way more interesting then the movies

Revan - He is my favorite Star Wars Character ever. I find him intriguing and in many ways the ultimate force user

The Sith - I would prefer to Sith over Jedi as it seems like they can truly enjoy life

Grey Jedi - To me it makes sense that to achieve balance in the force you must embrace both the light and the dark

Episodes 3, 4, 5, 6 - yes I like 3 a lot, as well as the original trilogy, obviously

dislikes

The Jedi - I really do not like the Jedi mindset as I see them as restrictive and incapable of living full lives

Episodes 1, 2 - 1 is ruined by Jar-Jar but still watchable but 2 is just poorly written in my eyes

Episodes 7, 8 - 7 is just episode 4 re-skinned as is 8 is a bad movie in general in my opinion

Harry Potter likes and dislikes

Likes

1. Super Harry - I find it fun to see a Harry who's a badass hero and can take on whatever the world throws his way

2. Grey Harry - It's fun to see a Harry that just stops taking shit from the world and walks his own path

3. Ron bashing - the guy was a crappy friend when his friends needed him the most he must suffer but I like to see him redeemed as well

4. Ginny bashing - I don't like her character much at all

5. Dumbledore bashing - He makes a rather good villain so I like it.

6. Lily and James alive - it adds a fun twist to the world

7. Good guy Draco - cause the world needs more sarky and smarmy bastards

8. Sex scenes - There is no way these characters do not have sex when they're going through puberty together but needs to be tasteful at least

9. Umbridge - She is too good of a villain not to be used so we need to see her suffer

10. crossover's - I've seen a few good ones

Dislikes

1. Evil Harry - it can work just not my thing

2. Harry has siblings - again not my thing

3. Hermione bashing - I like her too much to hate her though I like the concept of her growing out of her bossiness

4. Time travel - it can end up being a mess unless its only the soul is sent back.

5. Demons - its a bit too much for me

6. Marriage contracts - it is literally too forced for me although when done right it can work

7. The last two books - They feel like they don't meld well with the other books as if Rowling was a bit too afraid to do something drastic and just stuck to the same formula of starting at the Dursleys before having a year-long conflict for Harry to overcome and then a nice fluffy ending to wrap up the books. These are the two books that are set with a war that Harry has a huge personal stake in yet he just goes to school like a good boy and does his usual thing. It drove me nuts reading book 6 knowing that Voldemort and his death eaters were running around yet Harry with his supposed 'hero saving thing' just sits at school whilst knowing that the ministry isn't fixing things and just trying to look good. As for book 7 while it does break the formula I never got the sense that Harry was a truly wanted man nor did it seem like Voldemort had truly taken control and was still working in the shadows and using puppets. Also, I don't truly believe that the war ended with Voldemorts death as his entire army was based around an ideology that was deeply embedded into magical Britain's culture yet it seems like Voldemort's death meant that everyone surrendered and the good guys won. Surely more had to have happened before it was truly over and it would have been rather interesting to see Harry or even Neville as a wartime leader taking out any remnants of the death eaters.

Liked Pairings

1. Harry Potter x Daphne Greengrass cause I like Slytherin

2. Harry Potter x Hermione Granger It's what we all know should have happened

3. Harry Potter x Bellatrix Le Strange it's a mad pairing but so much fun

4. Harry x Harem - cause its fun

5. Hermione x Luna - in a weird way it works for me I can't explain it.

6. Harry x Tonks - for me if Harry didn't end up with Hermione he should have been with Tonks

Disliked Pairings

1. Harry Potter x Ginny Weasley - it reminds of that scene in back to the future where Marty is kissed by his mum so no and it felt a bit forced

2. Hermione Granger x Ron Weasley - She could do so much better seriously (is it weird that I don't like canon pairings at all)

Personal views on characters

Harry - Harry is supposed to be the hero of the story and everything and it constantly annoyed me that he seemed to constantly fumble and need someone to pull him out of the fire and he always seems a little weak and we never get a sense that he is a powerful wizard or a hero. He just seems like he never truly lives up to his potential as I think he could have become a really interesting and complex character full of many internal conflicts as he tries to carve a fulfilling life for himself in a strange world but instead he seems content to be led around and told what to do by other characters. Sirius' death is the perfect example of this. All Harry does is mope about feeling sorry for himself instead of doing everything to make sure that it can't happen again. That's Harry's main flaw. He has no initiative, no drive to better himself and just sits there waiting for someone else to do something.

Hermione - I love the character a lot cause of her work ethic and always striving to learn everything about magic as we all would in her situation. I like how flawed she starts but is developed more and more as time progresses

Ron - He should have died instead of Sirius in the DOM. It would have been a hell of a lot more interesting. I just can't bring myself to like the guy in any way and I feel like he reached his peak by book 5

Ginny - A Bland and uninteresting character who should have stayed as a plot device for book 2.

Views on fan-fic tropes

Lordships - I like it but that's because I personally like political stories

Charles Potter is Harry's grandfather - This isn't canon as it's Fleamont who is Harry's Grandfather but I can accept it though it's usually done to give Harry the Black title

Weasly's after Harry's money - I can accept it as a motive but I'd like to see some originality

House elfs need to be bonded - I do like the whole symbiotic relationship and I find it cool

Likes

Thanos - My favorite villain even above the joker (yes I went there)

Spider-man - My favorite hero period there are no other contenders

X-men - They are to me the most intriguing team to read

Nova - After reading Annihilation I fell in love with him

Emma Frost - Whenever she shows up something interesting happens

Dislikes

Civil War 1 and 2 - great ideas poorly executed in the comics

Iron Man - I'm sorry but the first civil war is unforgivable and whilst the character has improved I still just can't find myself to like him. He is an intreasting character for sure but I just do not like him.

Carol Danvers - One of the most unlikeable
