Welcome to my neglected profile. You may call me Sabs, or Sabster. My real name and address are of no interest to you... *Jedi mind-trick* However, I will tell you that I'm female, to avoid any awkward confusion of pronouns. Trimming most of the crap from my profile: I am into many fandoms, music of all kinds, and also American Sign Language. I have a fondness for strong, feisty women with actual character depth and personalities. I also have a fondness for tall, dark, handsome, intelligent, misunderstood men, and I have an equal fondness for cute dorky sweet guys. Darkfic is as likely to interest me as fluff, and I LOVE a good plot. Action with my character development? Drama with my romance? Yes, please! I don't review often, but when I do, they are typically long and heartfelt. Not always. :D I enjoy researching random things in my free time... usually things which are related to my fandoms, like trauma surgery (Firefly), Chinese cursing (also Firefly), autism/Asperger's (Alphas/Big Bang Theory), ancient Japan (Rurouni Kenshin), how to survive in the desert (Naruto), the philosophy of sentience and how it relates to AI (TSCC), forensics (Bones), or ancient mythology (Thor, Merlin, Naruto and others). I have a LJ account, but it's very neglected. My Tumblr is slightly more active and full of fancrap. And I have a serious genetic condition which prevents me from finishing fanfics that I start. It's called a "short attention span." The ideas are plenty... but the motivation to write is usually zero. (Also, my love tends to burn hot and bright, then fizzle itself out after about a month. Fair warning!) My 2012 Camp NaNo fic, the Prompt Fic of Mischief, currently has about 40k of unfinished/unedited prompts that I will slowly work on posting. Maybe. Hopefully.
