Update - 7/26/2021

So, I got a bunch of chapters out for Human, Conditional and it has been really wonderful to see the feedback (and the reading stats). I think there are about 5-6 chapters left - 1 to get us to the movie, 1 to get us through the movie and just after, and then 2-3 chapters to go through the last (short!) story arch and probably a wrap up chapter. I will say that this story is already WAY longer than I ever imagined it would be (I'm running out of Muse songs for chapter titles), but I don't really feel like it will be too much longer. That being said, I also don't want it to feel rushed so we will see what comes out.

School is about to start up again, but since half of my students' assignments are online and automatically graded thanks to COVID (1 thing right?), I will have a lot of time to pretend I'm planning and instead write. So the goal is to get Human, Conditional done by the end of the year, but preferably earlier than that.

I also have fallen head first into a new fandom so I will be doing some simultaneous writing. I need to keep writing, no matter what it is, so there will be updates aside of Human, Conditional so I apologize to everyone who is looking forward to it ending after a decade of drama. Writing other stuff actually helps me just write more and better and I kinda forgot that somewhere in the past few years.

Anywho, thank you to everyone who has read, reviewed, or just been kind.

I do have to confess though that I am going to be working on two stories at a time. As long as I had abandoned stories on this account, my OTHER account has been abandoned longer.

It's the account that I write happier, sillier stories for. Cause I was young. But now I need some happy. So...I'm cheating on Human, Conditional for a silly coming of age story. I am ashamed.

For those of you who are interested and have as wide a reading net as I do that account is Mikazukino Hikari. It is much sillier and younger writing.

I really try not to be, but I can be very horrible about actually writing sequels to any story I finish. Honestly, sometimes I'm just damn proud to finish something that my brain kinda takes a step back from the entire idea until the actual sequel in mind disappears. My psychological profile has always stated that I'm excellent at starting things and really kinda suck at finishing them. One must overcome though, right?

Since I am trying to keep the fandoms allotted to this account (yes I have another) small, hopefully all hopes will end up with a proper story finished in a proper allotment of time.

Also:

I crave constructive criticism. I mean, if you flame me, I'll still read it and take it into consideration but I'm more likely to actually take you seriously if you are polite. Also, I try hard to not earn flames. I have dyslexia of the everything, typing included so...sorry in advance for stray typos.

I also am ALL UP for suggestions and story ideas. If there is something you'd like to see written, no matter how weird, I really do mean that I'll give it a shot. I write fanfiction to build myself as a writer and that means trying new things. They usually tend to end up good.

As Yet Unnamed Joker Story

My husband started me on a Joker in the Nolanverse with Harley Quinn idea that I have got some general ideas for bot not a real solid foundation (kinda like the story above). It is something that may be popping up sooner or later. The previously posted story is kind of a prequel. I like my one-shot prequels. I was going to work on it over summer but...my soul left my body and decided to actually leave the house. It came back...I think...so stories will ensue soon?

A (at least) 4 Part Ghost Hunt series:

I got really stressed out at the end of my master's program and reread/watched/read the books the Ghost Hunt series. I've always really liked it and the fact that it is just unfinished calls to my plot bunnies. I wanted to try my hand at writing horror (something I've never really done before) so I thought I would write a story and a prequel story. That morphed into 4 stories...so far. Two stories focus on the developing relationship between Naru and Mai and two are hauntings. (I also have another random one shot that won't leave me alone. The bug has bit me so we will see how long it lasts.)
