3/6/11: Hello? *sigh* I know, you all are probably wondering where the hell I've been, and really - I am so sorry. Honestly, I planned to update His Girl by this week because I feel awful for not updating for so long, but I caught some virus this weekend and I am not exaggerating when I say this: I feel half dead.

I can barely type this little message out. My sinus is dry, my throat hurts like a mofo, and my head is pounding incessantly. I hope someone sees this little note because I want to make it clear that no - I am not abandoning my story. I've been getting messages from a few readers, and I understand the anger/disappointment. I told myself that I wouldn't stall my updates because I know how bothersome it is waiting for a story to be update, but I'm practically a log like right now. Sorrrrrrry! I'm trying to get better soon, and as soon as I do get better I promise to update right away.

I fucking love Paean by Empatheia. I couldn't tear myself away from my computer once I began reading it, and after reading all 35 chapters, I instantly wanted to post it up on my 'lil ol' list. There aren't enough words to emphasize just how hard I've fallen for this story. I don't think I can read anything else for awhile because I'm still so shaken (not necessarily in a bad way) by this story. The writing was beautiful, the story was beautiful, and I was bawling my eyes out by the time I reached the conclusion. It's a love story circled around Izayoi and Inutashio. So yes, for the first time - I've fallen head over heels for a story that wasn't revolved around InuKag. Even if you stick to one particular paring, you'll love this story. Love. You can't hate it, at all. It's so... GAH. I'm honestly shaking and still crying as I type this. GO READ IT. Or you'll be missing out on one of the most beautiful love stories. ever. Just to give some insight on the story, if you've ever watched Inuyasha movie 3, then basically the entire story kind of spans from the parts of the movie between Izayoi and Inutashio. So yes. Yes, another story to post from eine.hexe because her work is just indescribably fantabulous. Twisted is another addiction. All of her stories will easily hook you in. For the most part, she caters to more mature themes, and this story is no exception. I don't want to give too much away, but it's kind of intense. Well - everything she writes is pretty much intense to be honest. I really don't want to spoil the story for anyone, so please just go check it out for your reading pleasure! And don't stop there! Check out all her other stories. She's a fabulous, fabulous, fabulous author and sweet as pie too!

Hey, guess what? Another freakin' fantabulous story to share! Cheers, anyone? XD Yeah. This story totally deserves some mad love. To Blot out the Sun written by Victoria-Fortis-Elegit had me hooked by the first couple of sentences. I found the story at nearly 1 in the morning, and it had me all wound up. In fact, I'm still all worked up from it because I pretty much hurried to add it to this little list of mine after reviewing it. I promise, if you click the link to the story that you'll enjoy it. It's about royalty, concubines, affairs, marriage, and duty. All of the above (royalty, affairs, concubines, etc) are ingredients to a winning formula for 'lil ol' me. I adore stories about royalty with huge servings of drama and scandal as side dish. Yep. Seriously, go click it! Pretty please?

Oh snap! Another new recommendation! Who's excited? LOL. Just me? Well *cough* whatever. So, eine.hexe is a really amazing writer, and she's a huge Inu/Kag shipper too. (X So, win-win situation for Inu/Kag fangirls like me. Really, any of her stories are great, and her newest story has me just as hooked as the rest of her stories. This affair is wearing me out is M-rated with extremely steamy lemons. So, if you're not a fan of steamy scenes, then I guess you'd have to pass on this story. However, I don't advise passing on this one. It's great, really it is. I could list off every compliment for it (or any of these stories on this list for that matter) for days. If you haven't read Foayasha's adorable story, My Girl then I feel bad for you, because you are seriously missing out. It's such a cute story, and it always has me laughing hysterically. It revolves around an adorable adopted little girl, a single mother, and a hot kindergarten teacher. Sounds like fun, eh? (; She's a sweetheart and her writing is crack in a bag - addictive. All the stories I post up here pretty much all fit that category: addictive. So, yes.

I've decided to add another story to this little recommendation list. (X I'm certain that anyone who clicks on this story is going to fall maddeningly in love with it. I seriously can't get enough of this story right now. Please do check out Behind the Silk Screen by eien-no-basho! It's freakin' amazing. Seriously. Ah-maz-ing! It's a romantic drama based on emperors, royal courtiers, and a certain priestess. Trust me, it's much better than that sad "mini summary" I just gave right now. Just click it and enjoy!

I highly recommend that you read Within You by Lil6ter. It's a romantic drama set in the "olden days" that revolves around the royal court, bestfriends, drama, and scandal. The writing's beautiful, the story's addictive, and the character's are just *whistles* - enough said. So, you should definitely give the link a click, and you wont regret it. (wink, wink)

And you know what else? LovingMyKitsune, Foayasha, purduepup, Shouraichan, Kagome313, Desenchanter and eine.hexe are all pretty kick-ass too. Definitely wouldn't regret clicking any of these links. Seriously. Click away! :D
